Devlogs:
I started researching/designing a custom flight controller! I began by choosing an IMU for it. I was initially going to use an MPU-6500, but learned it was trash for drones. I eventually settled on the BMI270 since it was relatively cheap but still powerful. Another benefit of that chip was that it could be hooked up to a magnetometer, so I looked into the BMM150, which was recommended. I also wasted my time with another random magnetometer that I keep forgetting the name of. Anyway I added those to the schematic, which wasn’t too bad. I’m pretty new to KiCad so I needed to figure out how to import symbols into it. I discovered the lifesaver known as the componentsearchengine, which is an extensive database of symbols that KiCad or other cad programs may not have. I also chose a microcontroller for the FC. I wanted to use an ESP32 chip since I’m most familiar with them, and ended up choosing an ESP32-S3 Wroom 1 (mostly arbitrarily)
I made some more progress on the flight controller. I may have forgotten some of what I did since the lapse was recorded like a day ago, but I added some connectors to the four escs, and connected most things to the main microcontroller.
I took on a little sidequest from working on the schematic of the flight controller. I plan to use a set of nrf24l01’s as the radio, since I already have them. Therefore, I wanted to test them before putting it on the schematic. I hooked one up to a brand new esp32-s3, and the other to an esp32-wroom1. The process of sending data between each one was relatively straightforward, thanks to a helpful instructable I found. However, I did get some issues with the default SPI pins with the s3, but that got sorted out after some pin switching. Eventually I got the two devices to remotely talk to each other and was overjoyed. Also somewhere in between all of that, I realized I ran out of male to female jumper wires so that sucks :(
I hate working on the flight controller so I decided to work on something else instead. This is supposed to be a webpage that tests drone sensors where you can see the drone’s orientation in real time. I’ve been dying to try out the web serial api for a while now, but I never got to it. Fortunately, I finally got to use it to receive data from the microcontroller. I managed to make the webpage receive serial data from the receiver that I built in the last devlog.
I finished the schematic. I still have some warnings to fix, but I’ve reviewed the connections, and they seem correct. The current schematic has: An ESP32-S3 An IMU, which is the BMI270 + BMM150 Connectors for the ESC signals Extra GPIOs that are broken out A USB-C port A BMP338 barometer Some connectors for attaching the RF24s I have A connector for measuring battery voltage An LED :)
I assigned some footprints Not many interesting things happened, just mostly browsing LCSC and JLCPCB’s parts. I also spent some effort figuring out how to import footprints from componentsearchengine
I started working on component placements of the PCB. It was harder than I thought it would be. Firstly, I had over-estimated the size of flight controllers in general, so I had less space to work with as anticipated. Secondly, I forgot to add some decoupling capacitors in the schematic, so after doing so, I had much more components to wire. Thirdly, the connectors were bigger than I thought, especially the ones for the radio module I plan to attach to it. I’m still deciding some things, such as how big I want the board to be, (I’m thinking somewhere around 50x50mm, excluding the protruding antenna and usb port) and whether the PCB will be a 2 or 4 layer pcb.
Before continuing with the PCB, I wanted to do a quick and stress free session where I tested firmware that would make the motors run. Safe to say, it was not quick and stress free. I initially tested the servo code on a mini mg90 servo since it was safer than testing with the esc which is powered by a big scary LiPo battery. I wasted 45 minutes with the firmware only to learn that the battery pack I used was drained. (All 4 AA batteries fell to 0.9v…) Then I managed to get the espservo library to work, but for some reason it kept crashing the entire code whenever I tried using pinMode(). Overall I learned: ESCs aren’t as dumb as I thought they were ledc api exists I still hate programming
I did more component placing. I think it’s almost ready to route, but I want to make sure I didn’t make any mistakes, namely using a forbidden pin. I also did some component testing with the parts I already have, such as seeing if multiple motors could run at once, while the radio was transmitting, etc.
Routed (most of) the Flight Controller. It may not look like much, but it was a lot of suffering. To start off, the magnetometer I’m using has the most annoying package I’ve encountered yet. There are pins buried deep inside the center of it, and I had to adjust trace and via sizes to accommodate for them. I ended up using the absolute minimum sizes that JLCPCB has to offer. I’m finalizing the flight controller This means that I had to do a lot of double checking and random tweaks. I didn’t record it since I wasn’t very productive and essentially wasted an entire day half doom scrolling I did other miscellaneous things. Added a silkscreen Assembled part of the frame that arrived Wrote a BOM and tweaked stuff to appease JLCPCB
i did a high risk high reward type thing I paid 6 billion dollars to JLC for the flight controller, not even being fully sure if the flight controller would work. It arrived a week ago but I was dying at outpost so I haven’t tested until yesterday. I confirmed that the radio, imu, and motor pins work which are basically the most important parts of the FC
I modded my radio transmitter so it works with the current flight controller I also did some radio testing. I also tried playing around with FreeRTOS but I’m too dumb so I gave up Edit: Forgot to mention I created a holder for the flight controller
Learned threejs so that I could render a cube in the browser that rotates based on the flight controller’s orientation. While doing that, I got distracted and started playing the threejs port of doom for a bit. Anyway, it works really well Also, I suck at math This is a problem because I’m trying to write drone firmware from scratch. Fortunately, there are some pretty good guides out there like the one from Carbon Aeronautics. This session was mostly me trying to learn the math used to measure angles from the accelerometer and gyro. I get some of it, such as the basic trig stuff and integrating the gyro’s readings. made a custom quadcopter model in blender and added it to the web viewer!!
Added a calibration mode for easy esc tweaking, and the motor now uses 250hz I needed an input of some sort for calibrating, so I used the battery voltage pin as a temporary solution.
Cadded a battery compartment in Autodesk Fusion
I was mostly working on code (its going horribly), but I soldered the battery connector along with a voltage measurement wire.
Got a battery monitor working (it disarms the drone when the 3s lipo reaches 10v or below)...

Finished the welcome screen and desktop UI for Yatri OS. Now it’s ready to ship!
Made the Welcome Screen of the WEB-OS with a dedicated “Launch” button to start the OS. It’s not that good, but I am constantly learning and trying to make it wonderful.
Added a New App, “About Me”. Which let you know who I am. A simple introduction about me. And a simple feature that lets you close the window when the “Escape” key is pressed. Please give me some feedback so I can improve.
I added Live-news fetch to my Start app. Instead of one hard-coded article, my Start app now pulls 10 real, current space news articles from a free API (Spaceflight News API) every time it opens. And we can now like and comment on our favourite post.
I made a custom ‘Settings’ app for my WEB OS-2 with a Space theme. I added multiple features, like different wallpapers, accent colors, sound, window transparency, and brightness. I completely changed my theme from WEB OS-1. I hope you guys like my project. Feel free to give feedback! I would love that. POS: I WASTED NEARLY an hour finding an error which was (;).
WEB OS-2 UPDATE: I added a little analog clock at the top left of the screen. The orbiting circle was a headache for me. I did a ton of research, and I finally added this according to my theme. It looks cool. I love it. I completely reformed the top bar of the OS and made a new one that aligns with my theme. I hope you like it. REMEMBER TO DROP FEEDBACK!
DEVLOG-7 I added another functionality app to my WebOS. Calculator app was one of the toughest things I worked on. The code behind the JS for the CALC app was so confusing for me. And after a lot of trial and error, it finally worked. I matched it with my theme! POS: I renamed my settings app to ‘DECK’ to align with my theme.
DEVLOG-8 I added a cute-looking little ‘Alien Buddy’ which hover everywhere my mouse move. That’s it for devlog 8. It looks so cute. PLEASE GIVE ME SOME FEEDBACK.
DEVLOG-9 After multiple failures, trials, and errors. I have finally added the animation for the ‘Welcome Screen.’ TBH, it was the most difficult task I’ve worked on. And now it is looking fine. POS: I also added sound while the animation is happening.

Today I started working on my Web OS project. So far, I have spent 26 minutes on it. In this session, I mainly focused on the basic building stage of the project.I began by setting up the main structure of the Web OS and planning how the interface will be organized. I worked on the basic layout and started building the foundation that the rest of the system will be added onto later. At this stage, the work was mostly focused on starting the project, organizing the code, and building the basic framework rather than adding advanced features. This was an important first step because it helped create a starting point for future development and gave me a clearer idea of how I want the Web OS to look and function.
In this update, I successfully built and integrated two major system utilities into the core desktop environment: a Settings application and a Calendar . The Settings app introduces real time workspace customization by implementing an input interface that captures image link addresses and immediately binds them to the document body’s style property, allowing users to switch out the global background wallpaper instantly. Alongside this, I added a calendar component.
I expanded the WebOS environment by developing two primary user application layers: an optimized Images explorer and a data-handling Notes . The Images app introduces a gallery layout displaying wildlife and animal photo within a grid component framework. Both components integrate with the global window architecture, maintaining active content inputs without losing interface synchronization.
To make the environment feel like a functional desktop rather than just a stylized landing page, I built two new core applications into the system dock: a working Calculator utility and a dedicated “About Me” panel. For the calculator, instead of relying on basic, insecure evaluation tools, I structured an inline string compiler using strict execution rules to handle chained arithmetic expressions smoothly, mapping the interface out onto a clean button matrix. Alongside it, the “About Me” window serves as the primary personalization node for the OS, using custom CSS flex badges to cleanly highlight my background. Everything is feeling incredibly cohesive now.
finally completed the project!!
working on css!
more progress :)

I built WebOS, a browser-based desktop simulation featuring draggable windows, a live calendar, a notes editor, a calculator, and a dynamic wallpaper settings app. The biggest hurdle was engineering the window and keeping the midnight calendar updates lightweight, but I’m proud of how the system mimics a native desktop experience. To test it, click the dock or desktop icons to launch applications, drag the windows by their headers, and try pasting a web image link into the settings app to change the wallpaper on the fly....

A Rabbit and Steel themed WebOS? You should steel yourself NOW! Rabbit and Steel has been one of my favorite games to play, especially with friends. So I landed with a Rabbit and Steel themed idea. Obviously, the next course of action is following through on the guide, but then I will try to add more Rabbit and Steel themed features later. Anyways, you should play Rabbit and Steel.
Devlog #2 I did some polishing and made a new app. I decided not to make a notes app as the guide directs, because I felt it to be unfitting. So, I instead made an embedded wiki (although I hate Fandom, Miraheze will not load).
Devlog #3 Added a settings page, albeit very barebones at the moment. This allows you to change the backgrounds; matching with game area backgrounds in Rabbit and Steel. There are two settings for window blur and drop shadow. I also spent (a lot of) time trying to add transitions but I honestly still have no clue how to use them properly. I’ll add more backgrounds to select later, but I want to make some other app.
Devlog #4 Added a music player. This music player just uses the Spotify preview embed of a playlist containing the full Rabbit and Steel OST, which I thought was preferable than importing all the sound files. It took me some time to figure out how to make the image animated, as it was a spritesheet taken directly from the game, but I think it adds a lot more to the music player. In future apps, I definitely want to add more animated assets. I have also expanded the settings page to include all backgrounds in Rabbit and Steel, and I have utilized local storage to save the settings and the background for future visits.
Devlog #5 Added a timer app. This took a bit of time to figure out in terms of functionality. But I was far more frustrated with trying to position Twili (the crow) and the rings in the center. Like the music player rabbits, this is animated as well, and the rings rotate. I also added sound effects from Rabbit and Steel for the timer being started and when it goes off, since what good does a timer do if it doesn’t notify you audibly?
Devlog #6 Well, now I move onto WebOS 2. I made the windows resizable! It took way too long to figure out why scrolling content wasn’t working, since I wanted it to be able to scroll if a window was really small. But, that was really only one of the problems. I created a Rabbit and Steel themed WebOS, following the WebOS-1 tutorial to begin with it. This WebOS features a timer, a music player, an embedded Fandom Wiki link, and settings the OS remembers. The current system works with a fixed number of species , each with a unique genome. A genome is made of 3 traits (0 to 1) and 3 receptors (-1 to 1) and each receptor interacts with it’s respective trait on a neighbouring particle. Devlog 0 - Primordial Soup I started making my Particle Life simulation. I got the basic features working, but it’s very unoptimised. Every particle checks every other particle every frame, and it’s all done using the CPU. I’ll elaborate more on how I’m going to solve this in the future. For anyone who doesn’t know, Particle Life works by simulating attraction and repulsion forces between different kinds of particles. For example, here you can see that blue is attracted to itself, causing it to form big clumps. You can also see that blue is attracted to green, but green repels blue, effectively making blue chase green around really fast. What’s Next? The two things I plan on doing next are optimisation, and customisation. I’m not sure which will come first, but hopefully by the time I finish I’ll know how I want to implement the evolution
Devlog 1 - Cells Quick update to my Particle Life project. I did some work to stabilise the physics, there were a lot of small mistakes in the code that added up to very erratic behaviours. For example, the repulsion force that’s supposed to stop the particles from overlapping too much was partially inverted and actually made things worse. I’m starting to get better results now but it’ sstill not perfect. I also added a little grid to visualise the relationships between different ‘species’. I’m still relatively new to Pygame so it was interesting trying to get the dragging and clicking working The last change is less noticeable but I did some light optimization. It’s an improvement, but there’s still a long way to go as far as optimization. Hopefully I can figure out how to get it to run on the GPU soon
Devlog 1.5 - Life Another small update. I still wasn’t completely happy with the physics after my last devlog so I looked at the code of another particle life simulation and realised I was doing some of the calculations wrong. It turns out I never fully fixed the strong repulsion equation, also I was applying the friction in the wrong order. Aside from bug fixes, I incorporated delta (the real time since the last frame) into all the calculations to account for framerate fluctuations. I’m now pretty happy with the way the particles interact, and I think I can start translating the code to run on the GPU - hopefully I don’t need to rewrite too much of it
Devlog 2 - Organisms I finally got around to adding GPU integration. I can now comfortably run 20,000+ particles, before I was capped at around 1,500. There’s no other additions so I’m gonna talk about the implementation for a bit. I used a really cool module called Taichi . It basically lets you put a little tag above functions to tell them to compile into GPU code. For it to work you have to convert whatever you’re doing to use different datatypes since the GPU doesn’t understand python types. As for this project, I called it Particle Evolution but I still haven’t fully figured out how I want the evolution to function. Hopefully I’ll have something next devlog :> 30,000 particles!
Devlog 2.5 - Chaos Really small update! I starting implementing the evolution, it’s very very simple right now but I just wanted to share this cause I think it looks cool. I won’t go into too much detail here but basically instead of a fixed species/color each particle has a genome. The genome is made of traits, and receptors (attraction/repulsion to certain traits). When particles get close to each other, they share a bit of DNA. I’ll probably change the evolution mechanism very soon because I don’t think this method is really viable but it’s a start :>

Ships:
Project is available for download on Windows and Linux I made a particle simulator with genomes. Inspired by Particle Life, the particles interact with each other through attraction and repulsion which when millions of times across thousands of particles creates really cool patterns. The particles also have DNA as explained in the README This was a lot of fun, I find emergent behaviours really cool, and even though I wasn’t able to accomplish everything I wanted to do I’m still happy with how it turned out. I also learned a lot about how GPUs work which is becoming very relevant very fast. This might be my last Stardance project so I just want to say thank you to all the Hack Club staff for running this, and all the other Stardancers for making it what it is. I had a great summer and I hope you all did too :>...

Since my ship was given feedback that it used too much AI, I essentially deleted the CSS and rewrote the entire CSS myself.
Removed anything that I though was AI and wrote it myself. It should all be human-written now

I made the header and logic for creating a commit on the commit list, It uses a sage green as the base colour while using similarly muted colours such as the red. The commits have a Pi chart which shows the actions status (green: successful, yellow: pending, red: failed). Pending is either all actions/workflows are incomplete or successful. The top heading has a Go button which does nothing right now, next to the Repo title/heading which below has a discrete text input with a placeholder of the project repo. And a settings button which also does nothing, yet… Next to add is the Focused-Commit Half
Added Github Integration and optimised the commit get Optimised the commits so first it gets all the commits and creates them then replaces them all with ones with updated workflow status. Made the Commits store as individual objects in an Array so they can be updated automatically but only if the CI is still pending Added the commit as a hyperlink under date Added truncated title/commit name Added Cookies to save the github api key, and most recent repo Next The commit focus (the empty white space on the left)
Final Features Added QOL I added a auto check for any workflows and new commits that runs every 5mins Added a built in guide to help you add a (PAT) Focus Commit Panel The selected commit is shown on the left panel showing author next to a link to the commit It shows the whole commit message instead of truncated one like in the commit list -Integrated the GitHub API to fetch CI statuses to show “live” (every 5 mins) progress

Hello everyone! Introducing Tsundoku . . . Or at least it’s very beginnings. I started working on my long term project for those messy heads like me. Its purpose is to help organize ours calendars and time tables. So far, so good: about 1.5 hours on record on day one, with a basic Python/PySide6 layout and the beginnings of the application’s structure. Next up: building the scheduling system There’s a long way to go, but it’s officially started.
Dev Log #1 Did an AI integration with the GROQ API, and I’m honestly proud of how it’s coming together. The whole idea is finally getting its rough scaffolding, and it’s working so far. So good, so good.
Dev Log #2Added a settings page so users can add their own Groq API key. The basic saving and loading is working, but there are still some bugs with the API key not updating correctly and the LLM sometimes fighting with the “I couldn’t find an actionable task” message.I’ll debug that tomorrow.
Dev Log #3 Got the web demo working and actually put Tsundoku online. It can now take a messy task dump and use Groq to turn it into actual tasks from a browser.I also changed the web version so users can use their own Groq API key instead of me having to put mine on the server. The organizer is getting a bit smarter too, so it doesn’t try to answer every random question and only focuses on stuff that can actually become a task.

I made the first alpha version of Tsundoku, a task-organizing app that uses AI to turn messy thoughts and task dumps into structured, actionable tasks. It has a desktop version, a web demo, Groq integration, a settings page for API keys, and basic task persistence....

Now that I use thread I can do multiple tasks without having to stop the other task which is why I wont have to stop the physics process this is like having two assembly lines (i am not sure what that analogy means but I dont have a proper example , basically I can do things alongside other things without having to pause) Noww next devlog when I add something new and my hand gets better cya!!!"}, {"post_id": 62455, "ts": "2026-09-05T20:10:02Z", "hours": 5.5081, "text": "Dayum today’s time is kinda long cuz i was being a dumdum What happened was since in a physics system we have the graphics, collision and physics so I thought of making different classes which was not a good choice so I spent a REALLLLLLLLYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY long time making those classes and since I wanted it to be inherited the system got really messy and I just kept getting error and errors. So, I stopped and now I am no longer fighting for my life. But then I spent some time making the wall collision a bit better, I improved the logic and also the way positioning happens in it and now the collision is extremely smooth and good looking and it no longer overlaps. After that worked I added gravity which was simple unless you are like me who spent a lot of time but the solution was just one line away. Soo I just started making things and I have never really used a graphics library before so I spent quite a lot of time learning about how I am supposed to be using this library Things went good and it was actually pretty easy to get used to From tomorrow I think I will probably work on implementing movement first or collision first……we will see
Soo I realised that making new shapes gets kinda lengthy sometimes so I added a class an object that will help me make a new shape Also before I make anything related to translation and collision I will have to design the grid system I am still thinking of how I should implement the grid and where I should keep the origin Also I specified a fixed size of the window and including the border it is 840x640 pixels and without the border it is 800x600 pixels
I couldnt do much today my exams are going on. But I made some changes to the coordinate system before this the +Y was going downwards now it is upwards Now I have a better grid system such that every coordinate is positive and I wont have to deal with negative numbers
Soo the last time I wrote the code everything was messy and since I had done not so much work I thought of doing everything from the beginning. So I did and this also helped me to understand and improve everything by making the code a bit cleaner and making some functions and classes I also made a struct vector for storing information of the entities. For now I am working on adding only when the objects are circles also since I am implementing only the translation for now thats why I dont think someone will be bothered by not having rotation cuz they probably wont notice any.
MY EXAMS ARE OVERRRRRRRR and now im back on work and I will try to do a devlog almost everyday. I have been working on making the collision system for now i worked with the borders each time I will run into some problem like velocity being updated each frame time after it collides or getting garbage values because I forgot to initialize the variables. Now they are fixed and now I will work on implementing collsion with other physics objects and before that I noticed that the circle will sometimes do slightly behind the border which is what I will fix.
I added header files and seperated things to make them cleaner to look at i havent updated the code to work with the headers they are seperate now but I will change it later uhh i forgot what else i had done cuz my hackatime was not working
well didnt do much today got busy here n there today i finally implemented the functions and classes and they are working smoothly rn, at first i did run into some weird errors which i fixed now i am gonna work on adding object to object collision now that i am done with the regular collision.
for some reason i have been using things that need x and y components as different variables which i dont know why i was doing so i shrinked(if thats a word) them and joined everything info sf::vector2f other than that i spent the time trying to implement things that i did not properly understood gonna spend some time studying a bit better
the collision system i am starting to understand it now well i cant really explain much in this session sooo i will explain everything in one go after this is done
Soo the COLLISION SYSTEM IS COMPLETE I can finally start working on the physics it could be easy I think. As for collision I followed this document: collision reponse Oh wait I need to add collision response for boxes as well I JUST REMMEBERED THIS AS I WAS WRITING THIS DEVLOG I am more cooked than the food when I cook it
Dayum today’s time is kinda long cuz i was being a dumdum What happened was since in a physics system we have the graphics, collision and physics so I thought of making different classes which was not a good choice so I spent a REALLLLLLLLYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY long time making those classes and since I wanted it to be inherited the system got really messy and I just kept getting error and errors. I just had to decrease velocity as per gravity * dt because gravity is second derivative but I kinda tried to mix things and update the velocity and position as the same time. I also added a reference to delta time in main class this way the delta time stays consistent Now I am gonna add a position correction system for object to object collision and then I will be more than 60% done with my project (or so I hope)
AAAAAGHHHHHHHHHHH MY HANDDD all i did was some exercise and since then my hand hurts very bad which is why I can type properly just a bit of weird movement and it feels like its going to fall off soo i am gonna tell whatever I have done till now I am done with the physics and collision and now I need to make a CLI for user to do things For that at first I was going to pause the physics and then let the user enter but then I found out about threads Basically when we code everything happens in a straight manner like one step at a time, imagine this like a single assembly line for producing things. Now that I use thread I can do multiple tasks without having to stop the other task which is why I wont have to stop the physics process this is like having two assembly lines (i am not sure what that analogy means but I dont have a proper example , basically I can do things alongside other things without having to pause) Noww next devlog when I add something new and my hand gets better cya!!!
I am working on CLI system for giving input to the app As of now I have added a couple of features like updatevelocity, applyforce, setgravity and exit I did not do a commit yet I will do it in the next session I will add more features into it and I currently I am adding a way to get some information from the app which I will tell about in the next devlog
Hmmmmmmmmmmm I did a lot of work today and my code looks very messy now and I am not even sure if it is messy or if it is supposed to look like this Well today I completed the CLI for my physics engine and even added themes so u can customize can look. Damn I thought I did a lot of work and now I cant even remember a single thing that I did Well I do know what I will be doing now I will add a way to save the theme in device at a specific folder this way if u make any theme and close the theme u will still be able to access the previously made theme and u wont have to make it again After that I will give it finishing touches and then README and then make a static version of this app then import then ship 🚢
sooooo i did a lot of things i completed the input method by taking information by getline() and parsing it and storing each infomation in a vector then it is decided what should be done by checking what is in vector at 0 index i also finished the option for themes and i also added some premade theme to have something to work it and u can even add you own themes. uhhhhh what else did i do…. yes decoration the terminal by default has white text and quickly it starts looking terrible and messy so what i did was i gave the text some colour now it is a bit more cleaner to navigate between different portions in terminal. i am gonna work on making the app capable of being exported and also add some small things here n there also yea the readme as well
IT IS FINALLY DONE AAAAAGHHHHHHHH I AM READY TO SHIP THE PROJECT before that lets see what else I did all this time. I made the readme and made minor changes to the code to improve the program like adding a ‘help’ command to get quick help Also to get a proper guide on how things work I added a readme.html in folder of executable so the terminal doesnt feel very cluttered
Ships:
I made a 2D physics engine which I named as Basic2DP (Basic 2 dimensional physics). It was made in C++ and uses SFML library for drawing the graphics. As for me he most challenging part was learning the actual math and physics to apply in the program. other than this the difficult part was keeping a track of code I often forget what I am supposed to do at what places :P. I am really proud of the fact that it is maybe the first project I have ever made that is this big I even had really fun in making it specially the theme feature was the most fun to work it for some reason, definitely enjoyed it and definitely learned a lot. If you are going to use this project then u can get it from the release section of my github repo but make sure to have 64bit windows and do not remove any of the dll files. Well thats all hope ya like this project :D...

Devlog — Sevasync Date:1 June 2026 Time worked:Late evening (~10 PM onward) What I worked on today Fixed - Stay Logged In -system using Firebase Auth persistence App now automatically opens Home Screen if already logged in ✅ Added Logout system inside Profile Screen Added logout confirmation dialog Fixed navigation after logout → back to Login Screen ✅ Existing systems tested Search Records working Check Records working Edit/Delete system working User-only records issue fixed (UID based filtering) Current MVP Status Core app flow is now functional: Login Profile S/BS Entry Search Records Check Records Edit/Delete Stay Logged In Logout Problems / Tech Debt Firestore structure still messy Need optimization later Reminder system pending (next major feature) Thoughts Funny milestone: Built and shipped most of the base app with almost zero Flutter knowledge and on a brand new laptop 😭🔥
fougth a long battle with auto reminder scheduling in flutter and for looks like i lost but will try again issue is it drops instant notification but not scheduled one any solution ??
so auto reminder function is complete problem was reciever tag missing in flutter XML file i am attaching screenshot below and finally after a long battle me and chat gpt fought figured that out
finally everything about reminder system is sorted and tested and now my app is near to complete probably after 24 hours i will send it for review to google as i already hold a dev account and today i fought bugs and found some critical bugs too and created a few new buttons and save them in firestore and likely tomorrow i will finalize it and ship it (devlog 4) and can anyone tell me how to get start dust
so i almost finalized my application add a few buttons and search filters done deep testing and solved many critical bugs including many auth bugs and many other so data do not show to other users and add a coming soon poster for a feature planned and there a few more things which will be done shortly and i will send it for review tomorrow
i alomost finalized my app and debug many issue and tried to make iit production ready but in the and when running flutter buil release it shows splash screen stuck error and i couldn’t fix it so tommorow i will release it for testers also added many oher fields and drop down in app to inrease productivity and convinience
afrom last 10 days i have not posted a single devlog but i am happy to announce that i have finally made it i haev completed the project solved many bugs resolved many errors made the ui part and 3 x my app looks and feel now my app is all set for launchi have already started the closed testing before production release in play console
just wanna say that my project is on play store now
completed project info today and launched an update on play store with enhanced security and added git hub url
just working on new app
Ships:
so i made an app publically known as seva details . it for SK & BSK to let them manage their seva records easily and efficiently and help them to digitalize their methods and search across their saved records and have reminder a day right before their seva(an event you can say) come . in this i have used ai like chat gpt and last claude for a quick ui refactor and this project is live on playstore and currently it has 71 downloads. so you can just search and download it to see how it looks . and challenging part was working with ai and with zero flutter knowledge and maintaining security ....

I began by changing the design from long range to a freestlye drone mainly because of the budget, since i was not sure if the drone would qualify for x tier funding. for this drone i have most of the components so it will be cheaper to fund.
i finished working on the camera and battery mount (basic) the drone will be pusher so the stack mount will act as a base and the camera and battery will go on top.
I added this spacer so that i can use 30mm screws to mount the stack and keep them from interfering with the o4 mounting. Its still not to the actual measurments and i will probably have to add something for the battery to it.
I noticed that the o4 mounting was not adhering well so I increased thicknes and changed the slicer settings so that it had a higher temperature. Below images of the reprint and the first failure.
I had to completely redesign the drone because the board’s irl dimensions didn’t allow the previous alignment. I then redesigned the drone so that it’s still a pusher, but now it has more space for the board and the other components. I also added a dedicated battery compartment. I also got the weight down to 38g....
