Zeno-Bot is a slack bot i made especially to be useful when it comes to using slashed as commands. It can now make jokes, fetch facts, get u some images of space and do more. Demo will be soon found in the introduction website (which is under the try project button).
Zeno-Bot can finally run 24/7. Here is what i have done within half an hour - -Set up Slack Bolt app using Socket Mode -Connected environment variables using a .env file -Integrated external APIs for real-time data .
I have added new commands for zeno-bot and i think there were quite loads of bugs here but fixed them. I also removed the introduction page since reviews said they were not necessary and have made the required changes. The picture below is a command which reccomends u a book to read. Ok so lastly, here are the new commands - /zeno-bot-roll /zeno-bot-book /zeno-bot-duck /zeno-bot-study /zeno-bot-aura /zeno-bot-news /zeno-bot-pingChecks if the bot is online
Ships:
I built a Slack bot - Zeno. The bot can fetch real-time data from APIs like jokes, facts, dictionary definitions, and images, all directly inside Slack. The hardest part was deployment and debugging. Getting the bot to run continuously on a server using systemd Handling API failures (like broken or missing responses) Making sure Slack slash commands respond correctly using ack() To test the bot, users can use these Slack slash commands: /zeno-bot-help → shows all available commands /zeno-bot-fact → returns a random fact /zeno-bot-joke → returns a joke /zeno-bot-define → gives definition of a word /zeno-bot-image → shows a random image /zeno-bot-ping → checks bot latency Im actually pretty much proud of making one slack-bot that i was glazing quite a lot since it was my first time every trying out such a project!
This is one of the best devlogs or maybe ships i have made so far cuz i made loads of things here - /zeno-bot-roll /zeno-bot-book /zeno-bot-duck /zeno-bot-study /zeno-bot-aura /zeno-bot-news /zeno-bot-pingChecks if the bot is online And it works really well right now, i have made about 7 useful commands extra to my bot and will soon get better. I will soon make better commands and maybe design a new icon for zeno bot soon!...

It doesn’t sound like a generic AI wrote it—it sounds like a real developer who just fought a long battle with code and won. 🛰️ What did you make? I built NASA Quantum OS, a custom space-themed web desktop environment. It features a fully responsive desktop layout with clickable shortcuts, drag-and-drop windows, an interactive translucent macOS-style dock at the bottom, an integrated Terminal shell with basic commands, an Arcade panel with interactive mini-games, and a live tracking telemetry clock. 🧱 What was challenging? The biggest challenge was debugging the layout synchronization and handling file-wide JavaScript scope conflicts. At one point, a duplicate variable assignment inside my inline HTML click actions crashed the whole rendering engine, causing the top menu buttons and windows to freeze up completely. Tracking down silent syntax errors—like an unclosed @keyframes bracket in my CSS—required a lot of meticulous, line-by-line file auditing and a few complete workspace wipes to clear out “ghost code.” 💪 What are you proud of? I’m incredibly proud of the custom Sandbox Registration & Lock Screen Engine I built using localStorage. Instead of just making a hardcoded password wall that would lock people out, I coded it so that anyone visiting the site can instantly create their own unique username and password profile. It safely boots them into a customized workspace that remembers their configuration without compromising open accessibility. 🎮 What should people know so they can test your project? When you first launch the page, you’ll see a secure access terminal. Don’t panic—there is no locked password! Just type in whatever username and password you want to create your own sandbox profile and hit “Initialize Registration.” Once you are in, click around! I’ve always been obsessed with those old NASA mission control screens, so I decided to make my own version. The goal is to make it look like a real desktop environment, but with a space-tech vibe. Entry 2: The Architecture Struggle I spent way too long trying to figure out how to structure this so it wouldn’t become a mess. I decided to break it down into modules: core.js for the main stuff, vfs.js for the file system, and windowManager.js for the windows. It took a few tries, but having it decoupled like this makes it a lot easier to fix things when I break them. Entry 3: Building the Virtual File System (VFS)This was the hardest part so far. I wanted files to actually persist, so I’m using localStorage. Writing the CRUD operations (creating, reading, updating, deleting) was a huge pain, but now I can actually save folders and files and they stay there when I refresh.Entry 4: The Aesthetic (Mission Control) I’m really digging the “Cyber-Violet” theme. I spent all night playing with CSS grid and flexbox to get the glass blur effects right. It finally looks like something you’d see in a high-tech orbital command center. Entry 5: Current Status & Next StepsThe terminal is working well enough to navigate the VFS, and the arcade games (Minefield, Comet Snake) are running. Next, I need to finish up the telemetry dashboard to track the system uptime.I still have a lot of debugging to do—it’s definitely not perfect yet—but it’s coming along. Resetting the OS via the settings panel clears the data, which I’m glad I implemented so I can wipe it clean when I need to test a fresh start."}, {"post_id": 19213, "ts": "2026-06-30T14:08:42Z", "hours": 0.3611, "text": "🚀 QuantumOS v2 Devlog When I first built this project, I mainly focused on making it look like an operating system. It had a Finder, Terminal, Settings, and a few games, but after getting feedback from the reviewer I realized it felt more like a UI demo than an actual OS. Instead of starting over, I decided to improve what I already had. The biggest change was rebuilding the Finder. Originally it just displayed a few hardcoded files, but now it actually behaves like a mini file manager. You can create files and folders, rename them, delete them, and everything is saved so it doesn’t disappear when you refresh the page. I also spent a lot of time improving the Terminal. At first it only had a handful of fake commands. Now it can actually interact with the virtual filesystem, so commands like creating folders or listing files have a real effect instead of just printing text. Another thing I wanted to improve was the overall experience. I added more applications, expanded the arcade section with extra games, improved the notification system, and made the windows feel smoother to use. I also kept refining the macOS-inspired interface because I really liked how it looked, but I tried to give it more of a NASA Mission Control personality instead of relying on a generic futuristic design. One challenge I ran into was keeping everything connected. The Finder, Terminal, and apps all needed to stay in sync, and getting changes to persist after refreshing the browser took more work than I expected. It ended up teaching me a lot about managing application state and organizing JavaScript in a larger project. This project also made me realize that building an operating system isn’t just about making things look nice. The fun part was making different pieces communicate with each other and making the desktop feel like a real environment instead of a collection of windows. Zenith’s Story (Site) Devlog #1 The first photo is what it looked like this morning and the second is what it looks like now. “Meet The Headmates!” currently doesn’t work, but we plan to change that. We currently plan for several more tabs as well as putting our projects in the “Current Projects” sections. (White borders are temporary)
Zenith’s Story (site) Devlog #2 You can now switch between tabs (on the homepage) and I added the Tapestry page. …The color scheme is temporary.
Zenith’s Story (Site) Devlog #3 Switching between pages has been fully implemented. Tapestry color scheme is Semi-Finalized. Headmate info has been put in. Now to make it pretty…
Zenith’s Story (site) Devlog #4 all headmates have basic info and most have pictures. Still working on the projects tab & tapestry stuff
Zenith’s Story (Site) Devlog #5 After a lot of trial and error (and error and bug and error) the projects tab now works! I’m going to bring some past projects into it to see how it handles more than two projects and it should be ready to ship!
Zenith’s Story (Site) Devlog #6 After a couple bugs with the Projects tab it should be fully functional now! Also made a Blog tab for no real reason. Couple posts there if you want to read them. Also the headmate number on the front page is automated by how many headmates are in the Headmates tab. Tapestry is still pretty bare bones so I might disable it while getting the info in.
Zenith’s Story (Site) Devlog #7 Pretty sure I’m ready to ship! The front page current projects are now automated. Links to my profile on most socials have been added. You can now click on a project to spotlight it. If it has multiple pictures, you can now click through them. Tapestry has been hidden for now as I fill in info but you can still reach it if you want.
Ships:
I made a personal site with: links to my (basically never posted on) socials mini intro list of hobbies & interests/fandoms current projects highlighted on main page basic intros to all our headmates projects/art we have finished or are working on space for us to rant about our life (still wip) space for us to go in-depth about all the stories we’re writing As a personal site there will always be something to add and particurally the next step would be to make it look good on mobile. For now it works to give information. :)...

Zenith V booster stage test model –––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––This is a test model for the booster stage of my zenith V model rocket, the booster stage will house 2 Estes E 12 0 motors.
now printing the final version of the main booster stage for the Zenith V
The final version of the Zenith V booster stage is complete. This is the version that will launch the rocket about 2000 ft before the sustainer stage activates and this stage falls back to the ground.
Parachute bay and main body tube almost complete, this is an image of a 3D model for the parachute bay and main body tube, all that needs to be done on these is adding strength via interior support bars.
the first parts of the rocket have been finalized, printed, and assembled. The structure of the main body is now ready for testing.
i did a lot and kind of forgot to devlog, so i finalized connection rings, made the nosecone design, and begun to work on the PCB for the flight computer
finalized flight computer components, and found launch site candidates.
finalized the designs for the flight computer and LoRa receiver, the final design is to have GPS in the flight computer and have all of the info transmitted rather than stored. the information will be received by a module that plugs into the USB port on my laptop so that it can by interpreted and displayed in real time. the information will include: altitude, barometric pressure, temperature, and a video feed will be saved to an onboard SD card.
nothing too exciting today, just figuring out some random things if anyone has any questions about the rocket/project please ask!
a longer work period here, i completely soldered the ground station and begun to solder the flight computer (sorry about the image quality it was taken form my laptop =) )
finished wiring the flight computer, uploaded the code to the ground station, and prepped the flight computer for the code and launch.

Alright! This is going to take up my remaining time in Stardance. Zenith, a Voice Assistant in python. Currently, I plan to make it talk, open apps, and search the web. Future plans are to give it a better voice, hook it up to AI, give it a way of showing itself, and things I havent thought of yet!
So, what am I up to. Well, I decided to make a Assistant, that is fully hand coded, every web link, every company, all hand coded. This will be pain
So, more sites in, and added flags for noAI, noSocialMedia, sureBing and preferDesktop. I am currently adding Streaming Services!
More sites have been added! Time to add some greetings, and other conversational phrases
Well, I have added some stuff to this! It can give you greetings, and I am now giving it access to the weather!
Well, the weather API supposedly works, but testing it now, shows that there is a big bug somewhere, causing it to pick the wrong commands. Time for some debugging!
Ok! Fixed the issue with it misquoting the commands, it should now run the proper commands!
Well! I designed a logo! Check it out!
Well, it can now talk about whats going on!
I made another banner! So now, time to ship, and then after that, we make shudders documentation.
Ships:
Presenting, Zenith! The only AI Assistant that is fully hand coded! Currently, Zenith can: Open Websites Say Hello and Goodbye Send Notfications Check the weather And More to come!...

Devlogs:
I just started working on my project, ZenFlow. ZenFlow helps users tackle a problem that many people such as myself have faced which is the struggle to focus on tasks. ZenFlow is written in Swift and is designed natively for iOS. So far, I’ve just written a basic homepage but stay tuned for more features.
I improved the homescreen and UI design of my application. I made use of Claude Code to help me write the code since I’m unfamiliar with Swift. I also improved upon the features that I already added such as adding micro-tasks within the tasks feature as well as a journal tab. The next thing I implement will most likely be an onboarding page.
I decided to transition ZenFlow from an iOS native app to a website to make it more accessible for testers and users. More updates on the website coming soon!...

My very own OS !!

UI!!! , will update it soon!!
New ui that is alt better than before new changes upcoming!!
Fixed alot of bugs , everything’s functional (almost) . Blocky ui !!
Added 3 new apps - Clock Editor File manager when you open a file in file manager it automatically open in the editor but the delete function for both are bugged so will fix it soon
Fixed bugs -> previously the file manager and the editor were not synced with each other updatess it syncs renames , deletes etc so that it remains up to date with each other bug ( acc to me) currently , only refreshing or reopening the app synchronises the files , not instantly . but works completely fine without it
