I just finished the set up for my project and am moving on to writing my main.js file. It took a few tries because apparently my files weren’t saving properly. But after a little work my workflow worked!
Finished the generic styling from the guide, but I plan to change this in future updates. Thinking of adding a loading animation while the user waits for the calendar date’s info to load and I plan on changing the theme and styling as well.
Made styling more simplistic and added an astronaut loading screen
Just finished the website and named it NASApod! I added buttons to travel “next” and “back” from day to day. The image is also now side-by-side with the text. I also added a button called “surprise me!” which will take you to a random day. I also deployed the site with github pages so it is no longer ran on my local server :).

I added the launch button which launches a rocket pic which i found from google and I fixed minor bugs and css issues.

I built stardust a modern, responsive website that act as a NASA image explorer! Builduing this was really enjoyable and frustrating at the same time i really suck at designing and color themes (I like the color palates i have given to the stardust). I was really frustrated at the deployment at the github pages they were failing until I added the .env example file....
