MeowGame! Devlog #1 First Devlog of this project! Godot is completely new to me, so I used the first hour to follow the guide and get a grasp on the basics. I added a start menu and the level_scene as told by the guide. Looking forward to continue working on this project.
MeowGame! Devlog #2 Pretty much finished the guide now I added two minigames, a win screen and a lose screen. It got a lot easier after understanding the basics of how Godot works and I got through it fairly easily. I really enjoyed creating my own custom textures (first time doing this). Some of it is nightmare fuel though (I can’t draw cats) I’m still in the process of refining some stuff and hope I can get to the 5 hour requirement while doing so.
MeowGame! Devlog #3 Spent a bit of time on art and polishing the game. I added: Flasks as a life counter New Background ✨ Animated character for the platformer minigame Polished some small stuff Overall very enjoyable project, I hope my drawing skills aren’t too bad Will ship now.
MeowGame! Devlog #4 Added a Flappy Bird game I added a space themed flappy bird game. This was my first time doing a bit of proper coding in GDscript, everything is still a bit weird for me. Redid some art. I updated the art for the platformer minigame, I hope it looks a bit better now.
MeowGame! Devlog #5 I added a Pong game I added a simple pong minigame. There’s not much to say about that, it’s pretty self-explanatory. Also, particles I figured out how the particle system works and have implemented some in a few places. Sounds! I added a coin pickup sound. That’s all, cheers!

MeowGame Devlog #9 Some small stuff I did some performance improvements and added some particle effects. I added a falling leaves effect to the 4th minigame (I think) and added some wind particles to a few other minigames. Devlogs:
I started with the next.js standard file, and then worked from there. most of it is css so far, and I’m using tailwind for that, which is very convenient. The 3 texts are using the column method, which I have learned from my DT teacher that columns are the best. So: So far so good!
Added pictures and made them buttons to another page. Using next.js’s Image and Link
added backgrounds that have nice scrolling! basically made it look good. also added text
I added an about me button, which is just a border with the rounded-full tag.
added back button with the fixed property, so it wouldn’t move even when you scroll down.

It’s a game about a soul sent to earth to defeat a corrupted soul who is trying to take over the world. This update mainly features bug fixes and big improvements to the game. I ran into a bunch of problems, had really weird bugs but I somehow managed to outcome them. I am really proud of the art for this game. That is because I haven’t really ever made pixel art before until this project. This project really forced me to step out of my comfort zone. People who are planning on playing this should know that don’t expect anything insane. This game doesn’t take very long to complete. I would say around 5-10 min, depending on the person. Everything new: 🔥 More settings options Improved lighting Platforming improvements Sound fixes Bug fixes Buttons and menu overhaul And a few small other things like tweaking particle amounts and a few settings So after reading everyones feedback to the game I realized that some parts of the game really needed to be improved. So I got to work and thats what I did. Also tysm to everyones feedback on the game and those amazing words❤️. Anyways that is it for now! Will probably return to this project in the future or will work on the game but without the devlog thing anymore. Everything new: 🔥 Ending Credits Tutorial Menu Settings Some sfx and ambience All I am doing currently with the game pretty much is just finishing off areas, adding final touches and adding in sfx. The music will be probably the hardest part but we will see. I am so proud of the game and I cannot wait to make it public for everyone. The game is about to come out any day now. Maybe even today if I lock in. We will see. Byeeeee❤️"}, {"post_id": 41600, "ts": "2026-08-05T21:58:58Z", "hours": 4.7264, "text": "Devlog #7: The game 😍 Yo wsp everyone!!! The game is so so close to being done. I decided to make a final long form devlog on this project. I will probably do another small one later when I am really close to release. Everything new: 2 bosses new enemy a bunch of areas And bunch other stuff you will find out about when you play the game Okay. so I have added actually a lot of stuff since last devlog. All of the areas are basically finished, they just need a little touch of love. I currently am working on the final boss of the game which I am proud of. This game isn’t anything big. You will probs finish it in a few minutes. It’s nothing special, but I am proud of it since so much work went into this and the results so far are more than I ever thought I was capable of. Until starting this project I hadn’t basically really ever done pixel art. I have tried before and watched tutorials for it but it always seemed too hard for me. While making this game I have improved so much in making pixel art and I will definitely in the future continue making pixel art cause it is alot of fun. This project has definitely been a challenge but but it has also been alot of fun. I like writing this devlogs and sharing updates with everyone, even though my post barely get any attention. Anyways, I should get back to work. Basically the game is almost done and I don’t have much left to do. Little update: So much work is being done! I just finished one of the areas for the game. I got 3 more to go and final boss to be implemented to the game. The boss is fully drawn but it’s not in the game yet. The game will be out very very soon!
Another update: All of the areas are finished! All that is needed to be worked on is the final boss, adding detail, end cutscene. When this game comes out you will have option to either download it or just to play it on your browser. Also heres a little sneak peek of a tileset for a area in the game
Devlog #7: The game 😍 Yo wsp everyone!!! Byeee!!!!
Devlog #8: Sound 🎵 Hi guys! So the game is basically done but it is missing alot of sfx and there is no music yet in the game. But other than that I have gotten everything else done! Byeeeee❤️
Game is ready for release!
Devlog #8: overhaul Hello guys! So I have come back to the game after some time cause I wanted to do some improvements that I just had to get out of my head. Anyways enjoy!🥰

I made a pixel art style platformer game that includes enemies, bosses, abilities, platformer challenges a story and much more. This project might be by far my biggest game project I have ever made! And I am really proud of the results. The most challenging thing with making this game was programming. Anyways, enjoy!
I made an update to my game called ‘Soulful’. It’s a game about a soul sent to earth to defeat a corrupted soul who is trying to take over the world. This update mainly features bug fixes and big improvements to the game. The most challenging part was to get the systems to feel right. I am most proud of the outcome of everything and very happy about doing these fixes. People who plan on playing it should know that in the end there is also a cutscene when you finish the game. Also note that the game bosses are quite wonky and being able to save inside the arena and also heal is a feature ;). Anyways have fun!...

My member_joined_channel listener never fired. No logs, no error, nothing. I checked my scopes about six times before I worked out the bot could post into the channel without being in it, which is what chat:write.public does, so it looked present when it wasn’t. Slack only sends you join events for channels the bot has joined. Fixed it with one /invite. The other headache was the AI never returning the same shape twice. Same sentence, different JSON. Learnt from my mistakes, made it better, asded opencode for CSS code for this Neo-Brutalism thing. and did some rework and mixed Spiderman and Iron man, and this has both light and dark mode(for my dev friends)
Ships:
This is not heavily made by AI i barely used it to help me in coding thats why you may otice that this is not a full stack one, Bad UI, bad UX and stuff
I built a personal website from scratch to showcase my work; coding manually without AI(I did use it to teach me to code, but i didn’t use the AI to code directly) or major frameworks made fixing CSS and layout bugs tricky, but I’m proud that every line reflects 14+ hours of genuine learning. Check it out: https://hustlenix.github.io/-personal-site-/
This is my simple website made with simple HTML, CSS, and some JS cause why not? this contains some of my genuine projects that I have made while also coping with the rigged rat race with my friends. I just opened VS code, Opencode, and Co-Pilot so it will help me build this and build it with my whole heart into it....

I barely know how to code, so i chose to mostly use Grok for this project. Today i made the “skeleton” of the app and a few buttons. Added a settings menu for the server, where you can change the online-mode, player count, port, etc., a “New server” menu, where you pick your version, server name and loader, and a playit.gg login menu where you can attach your secret key and tunnel the IP.
