They are very convenient though. I have now spent 2 hours messing with arrays trying to get the code to do what I want, with varying success. I have successfully gotten the Items and Properties to go into their own arrays. I have gotten the Items to go into the list at the bottom, and the properties to automatically appear as checkboxes with distinct IDs. I am currently working on making it so that when you add an item, the properties you select go into their own array within an array, and can be accessed later. RFID Login - A DIY Yubikey, but for a Raspberry Pi! So, I built the first stage today, a way to check your key/s UID as otherwise anyone can log in as you! It is a simple python script that will run on a Raspberry Pi. I want to make another version soon that will work on arduino as that way I can keep my RasPi for the actual device and use an arduino for tests. It checks for cards using rfid.request and retrieves the UID using rfid.anticoll. It also formats everything nicely and has a 0.1s delay to reduce load on microprocessors.
I added the arduino UID reader code, so that I now can get the UIDs for my keycards and fobs. The next step I will do is writing some basic code to recognise my RFID Tags and log me into my laptop as a starting point.
