Virtual ENV Data Extraction Stage Complete So I Spent 2 Hours Collecting Data Regarding the Indian Climate from the IMD website and Used AI to Compile it Into a Useable Form. Devlogs:
I am working on my personal website. I have a lot of ideas that I can’t wait to try out =D
Devlog 2: I edited the html part since the previous log was just me following the guide. I’m thinking of adding memes (not definite)
Devlog 3: I added more info (stuff about me, hobbies, projects), features (images, videos, nav bar) and I added a picture as the background.
Devlog 4: I removed the “style” attribute from html and made it css instead. I also made the videos into clickable links.
I added a typewriter-style animation to give my site a hacker-ish vibe. I also put a scrollbar and tried to make the site more aesthetically pleasing.
I’m starting to work on version 2 of my personal website. I researched on how to add a parallax effect and now I’m trying it out.
Devlog #7: i searched up on different kinds of animations I can add like kinds of cursors. I also added the parallax feature =D
Devlog #8:I made the boxes translucent and I made the line underneath the heading multiple colours.
Devlog #9: I changed h1 and the nav bar to match the theme of the others. I changed the bg too!
Devlog #10: I added a banner…I think I should change the font colour.
Devlog #11: I decided to add separate pages for Home, Projects, etc. instead of keeping them as sections on the same page. I changed the cursor too!
Devlog #12: I added a new page for entertainment instead of keeping it as a section in the homepage.
Devlog #13: I’m trying to add another parallax effect where the pictures move with the cursor
Devlog #14: I’m still trying to get the picture-moving-parallax effect..working on JS part now.
Devlog #14: I added shimmering stars
Devlog #16: debugged errors and added more animations
Devlog #17: I debugged some code then added the picture files in the same folder. I still need to change their name tho
Devlog #18: the parallax effect on the pictures is finally workinggg!!
Devlog #19: I added a new feature where if you click on one of the pictures, it will open it but without opening a new tab.
Devlog #20: I added a progress bar!
Devlog #21: I added a light/dark mode. I’m thinking of putting a bg for it tho.
Devlog #22: I made a sparkle click option!!
develop #23: More debugging, turns out my code wasn’t even in the body =/
Devlog #24: I added the features that were on the homepage onto the other pages as well. I debugged too.
Devlog #25: I made a cool border that’s animated!! =D
Devlog #26: I added the outline features to the section as well.
Devlog #27: I’m trying to add more effects like a picture frame for my .cards .
Devlog #28: I added a separate file for all the js code so that it would be more organised. I also debugged the cursor clicking effect’s code and the code for the other effects. I’ll be adding more info to the page now.
Devlog #30: I’m working on adding another parallax effect and some neon colours.
develop #31: added final touches

For my very first Stardance project I created my own personal website. It consists of 3 sections: About me, Projects and Entertainment. I’m planning on updating it to make it look better and eventually add more projects to it. Writing the html code for this was pretty simple for me since I have learnt it before but what was challenging for me was the CSS code, especially researching on how to animate text to look like it was being typed (luckily I found out how eventually). To everyone checking out my site, you gotta see the entertainment section, it will not disappoint! I am excited to launch my first live site on the internet!

Scaffolded whole project based, backend only, created github repo, going to sort out hosting and check out the guide for the frontend-going to make a canvas OS for artists!
basic frontend is up! worked on it now, ai scaffolded and i went over with what the guide said
Changed the project: ipone OS, in the web! (only screensaver as it is, plis heart 📱👍)
this clock is sick, managed to get hold of the sf pro font, used liquid glass components from liqui glass and some other random repo, image in background is ai generated but is still insane
homescreen/landing page is up-it looks 👌i’ll admit that the background is an ai made JPG file but it looks good for my iPhone in the Web-iWebOS sadly i have spend ages making this (3 hours) and i have no OS and no backend but i’ll get there hopefuly
ok i have finalised the homescreen with some touches, now with 7 rotating backgrounds, now i need to make the os! also the login screen although it doesnt do anything yet, still have to wire it up
ok we have the start of an OS over here still no backend or wiring but the project is looking nice and neat-these tabs are just static and dont do anything, I copied and pasted the logos into the folder, now we have to see about some sort of file explorer next
ok guys the iPhone in the web now has two movable tabs-background chooser and credits (doesn’t do anything, background chooser somehow works) am not fully happy with the design so might spend more time over it, let me see 👍👍
iPhone in the Web, iWebOS update: ok i have cleaned up the folder explorer, notepad (uses md) all apps at the moment are re-using the same components so once i had the file explorer the rest was easy
made it look so much more like an iphone the iphone in the web is looking good although i still need some more bits and pieces to finish with, not so far off!
iPhone in the web i added some fake status (battery and wifi and signal), and the island which i only now noticed iphones 📱have, and the search which i haven’t wired up yet, also brightness slider which uses black overlay to not glitch out the liquid glass
okay guys the iPhone in the web is looking quite sick if i say so my self i have fixed a load of bugs: when i made the iphone animation of tabs springing up if you know what i mean, then also added an animation for the tabs at the bottom, also now the calculator actually works, i have to see now about getting a browser in there let me take a look until next time! #️⃣📱IphoneInTheWeb
ok i think i am going to ship, so this will be a final devlog, but guys if you see any way i can improve, please comment and i will fix! #iPhoneInTheWeb📱📱👍 for all you nerds you want to know what i did for these six hours i made the lock screen unlock normaly, i added three more backgrounds and a button to rotate backgrounds, a clock in the top right corner, the credits panel which is terrible, and in the folder app a new add note button which took donkeys to make, and now the light mode is so much better

I created the player, the “attacks”, and the overall UI (not really what I would call beautiful but at least that’s something) skeleton joke of the day (just thought it would be funny): why isn’t the skeleton here? Because it is BONE! (gone)
I added the logic that allows the program to generate random attack patterns. I just have to make more attacks and make it so you are able to customize the levels.
I have just finished some attacks like the one in the screenshot as well as the ability to create custom levels by modifying the code. I have calculated the minimum time it takes to die in the game is around 1.5 seconds.
I added the main selling point of the game: the level loader. Now, people will be able to create and share levels for the game.
This is the last devlog before ship. I have fixed a lot of bugs, added the possibility to make custom levels, and even made some levels for you :). All the work is published on github, and I hope you’ll like it! cheers !

The main issue I ran into while making the website fully functional was the API issues that some images were showing 404 error only for specific dates then I learned that they were not images but videos or sonification audio that was why there was the error so I fixed it by providing external links for those specific dates as well as fallback for the error. Then I ran into another problem that some older dates were also showing the error then I learned it was because the images of older dates had different URLs so I fixed it by providing an external link directly for NASA’s APOD and fallback for error for it as well so you can view it directly. I’m most proud of designing the space-themed UI with custom CSS stars and smooth interactive controls. Devlogs:
Started new project. Just finished linking my repository to VS JavaScript and CSS. <3
Finished setting up environment variables for NASA API and secured sensitive keys using GitHub secrets. Also resolved a GitHub Actions build failure caused by placing my directory under the wrong folder. Also fixed a syntax error in vite.config.js . Learned so much by fixing my mistakes. Finally published the app to GitHub pages!!!
Today, I fetched live space data using custom API requests for my NASA APOD web. I also built smart media logic that automatically detects images YouTube embeds, or video players. To keep the app smooth and reliable, I added safe loading states and a catch-block for error handling. I debugged JavaScript syntax issues as well. Finally, I completed almost all the steps of the guide and I am satisfied by my progress. <3
Today built a responsive dark-mode layout with smooth flexbox centering. Added custom zig-zag side borders using CSS pseudo-elements. Styled typography using Google Fonts ( Oswald and Black Ops One ). Used @media queries to hide side accents on mobile screens. Although having fun, the progress is so slow .
Redesigned the UI with twinkling CSS stars and neon space elements. Formatted theme colors and input controls to match the cosmic dark look. Fixed index.html font imports and CSS pathing for VITE compatibility. Added DEMO-KEY fallback for live NASA APOD fetches on GitHub Pages. This alone took almost 1 hours and the basic site isn’t even working properly, still got a long way to go . P.S can’t find the emojis so upside down smiley face at the end.
Cosmic Lens is LIVE! And… we’re done! 🚀 Today I gave Cosmic Lens its final touches, cleaned up the project, added the README, pushed everything to GitHub, and made sure the live deployment was working properly. The best part? The site is actually LIVE now! I also tested the date picker and Random NASA Image feature one last time, and everything is working as it should. From debugging API issues to fighting with Git and deployment 😭, this project definitely had its moments — but seeing it running online makes it all worth it. 🔗 Live: https://wizard21-sudo.github.io/cosmic-lens/ I’m officially calling it SHIPPED! 🚀 Keep looking up. 🌠
Added a custom greetings popup to give Cosmic Lens a warm, personal touch! Fixed a CSS bug where the popup styling was trapped inside a mobile media query. I also resolved a JavaScript selector typo and removed it from JavaScript so the popup only depended on index.HTML so the close button works smoothly. Also cleaned up robotic AI comments and removed divider lines from the code. Finally ready to reship with a personalized README and an authentic codebase!
Today I fixed the audio and non-YouTube videos which were glitching out because my conditional logic lumped them together incorrectly. Fixed it by cleaning up the tags, swapping the colon, and splitting videos into their own separate condition. Booted it up on localhost and everything is finally rendering clean cards and working media links. Hope this is the final ship for this project. 💫
Spent today polishing up the stylesheet to ensure the starry background animation and button hover effects render smoothly. Fixed a couple of small typos in the CSS properties that were stopping image scaling from working properly. Switched over to main.js to track down a trick variable capitalization bug that broke the random date generator. Cleaned up the API fetch logic to handle 404 errors gracefully without crashing the UI. Finally tested everything locally and pushed the clean code to GitHub Pages.
Worked on the API integration today so it handles both new and old space data smoothly. Ran into a weird bug where older dates kept showing random NASA logo placeholders instead of actual pictures. Added some validation logic to catch those placeholders before they break the image tags. Set up clean fallback links too, so if a record doesn’t have a direct image file, it just sends you straight to the original NASA page.
Ships:
I built Cosmic Lens, a custom space picture viewer using vanilla JavaScript and VITE that fetches data directly from NASA’s Astronomy Picture of the Day (APOD) API. The most challenging part was managing dynamic API fetching, handling edge cases like YouTube video embeds versus regular image renders, and resolving scope bugs with the date selector variable. I’m most proud of designing the space-themed UI with custom CSS stars and smooth interactive controls. To test it, open the live link and select any past date from the date picker to load that day’s official NASA space photo with explanation! If you can’t think of a date , use the random button and have fun !!!
I made Cosmic Lens using the guide of “ give your website a pulse “ provided by Stardance and I really wanted to make it awesome but I am a complete newbie to coding but even though I tried really hard for this and I am satisfied with the result. My website draws images from NASA’s APOD so you can view them in my style and it has a random button that lets you view a cosmic picture taken on any random day in case you don’t know what date to search for , I also added a custom greeting for the visitors .I look forward to adding more cool features to the site when I am able to grasp the concepts of coding more well. I learned so much from doing this project I really learned a lot about JavaScript and styles CSS. Thanks to Hack Club for giving me this chance I am looking forward to make more cool projects in the future!!...

Hey guys, this is the first devlog in this new challenge playground. And I am first one to write a devlog in the entire stardance in this challenge, I checked that😏. So I finally get the spritesheet, I actually made it. So now lets start working on it
Guys I find a cool guide and video to make pet. here the link of both. These resources will definitely help you to make one. https://www.digikey.com/en/maker/projects/desktop-pet/994f9b5997fa4d6899c022c9b23724a6 https://youtu.be/x8BO9C6YtlE Now my pet moves left and right
Now made it draggable and added drag animation
Now the pet will show emotions. Double tap- happy More than 2 clicks- angry
Ships:
I made WindowBuddy. It is a simple desktop pet that lives on your screen and reacts to your interactions. Now buddy support these: Double Click — Makes the pet happy. More than 2 continuous clicks — Makes the pet angry. Left Arrow — Moves the pet to the left. Right Arrow — Moves the pet to the right. Drag — Drag the pet anywhere on your screen. If I get nice ratings and feedback, I will expand this further and add more features to the buddy. So if you like it please support and rate nicely. You support is my motivation...

Finished the HTML of My Personal Website, Got CSS Left
Got Started On CSS
FINALLY, Finished!
Had to Redo the CSS, cuz it was flagged as AI. This time I DID NOT use a AI for anything (except for searching how to center a div)
I finished redoing the CSS!
Y r my projects always flagged as AI, I didn’t use it
I WILL CRASH OUT, HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO LOWER AI USAGE IF I DIDN’T USE IT ALL. I am literally crying, I wish AI never existed, i took literally 11 hours to do this and I am still being accused of AI, like literally check the code, it is so messed up, there are DIVs everywhere, and random class names cuz I couldn’t make them up.

Spent 2.5 hours on learning Web Development and started working on my Tic Tac Toe game, and completed the navigation bar.
Worked on the basic overall layout and structure. 3x3 grid with initial placeholders hover styling - highlights the grid and cursor turns to pointer when you hover over a grid UI elements, a heading and an initial reset button to be precise
Interactive game play enabled, so now we can click on any grid and it places either an X or a 0 depending on the turn. Next, I will be working on the winning logic.
game win logic added and reset button functional!
All done! Fixed a bug wherein the user was able to play on the same grid even after X or 0 won.

Title: Gargi (Generally A Really Good Interface) b Title: Gargi (Generally A Really Good Interface) by @Techiral | Stardance
Devlogs:
Hello Everyone! I have built this cute Waifu terminal AI with similar acronym to JARVIS. This isn’t any web app, it’s a TERMINAL app, so install exe, run it, test it, and enjoy it. I have added several features like voice changes, mood changes, conversation maintaining, etc. My MOTIVATION for building this- Getting more credits on Hackclub to get hardware for myself. So, support this one. Thanks All.
Ships:
I made this with a basic problem in my mind, “Each AI terminal agent is built for developers, not teenagers”. The teenagers need something fun, personal, so I built this terminal agent. And, second motivation is to get credits in Stardance to earn & claim some hardware....

Devlog 1 created a simple page with a search bar and option to select a serach engine also added a few dummy shortcut links this project is my 2nd try at “Give your website a pulse” mission, last time i used react to make a project of similar kinds, but i got flagged as AI, i tried to update the ui still reviewer says AI, so i just abandoned it, i tried conta ting the support on slack but no replies so i picket it up this time in plain html css and js not react , this is exciting i am like going to write html csss js the old way after writing in react for last 2 years
Devlog 2 added time display now the selected search engine is saved in local storage and reloaded on page refresh also chagned the placeholder text according to the selected serach engine dynamically poopulated the shortcuts from an array of objects instead of hardcoding them in HTML imporved the responsiveness of shortcuts seciton I found an amazing URL that is basically a servies of google which i can use to get the favicon of any site i used that to get the icons for nay website user want to add as shortcuts
Devlog 3 This session was all about improving the UI added animations to serachbar, shortcuts and time display the searchbar has greadient border and a blur effect when focused and its width also extends the shortcuts section also fade in with some animation delay time slides up, like its comming from below the searchbar up next bg image let user change shortcuts maybe fetch some news and display it
Devlog 4 used NASA’s APOD API to fetch the image of the day to use as bg added featture to let user add custom shortcuts to the page added a special font for the time
Devlog apprantly i think the nasa apod api is down because i read nasa is migrating to wordpress server for its public apis, also this apod api is set to deprectae in dec 2026 so i am going to use their collection of images instead of daily apod
Ships:
i made this minimilistic new tab page, has sleek animations when opened and also a special search bar animation uses NASA’s APOD API to fetch the image of the day to use as background added feature to let user add custom shortcuts to the page added a special font for the time responsive design for mobile and desktop there are still things like news and weather fetching, but lets leave that for the next ship...

Devlogs:
I’ve just started to work on “RockOS” for all the music nerds out there! Lets see where this project takes me.
Checked off quite a few things off my To-Do list. Hosted the pages, corrected allignments, dragable elements, added a README. Looked dope on my phone.
I made another page for the OS and connected it with the welcome screen. I decided to keep the tab on the bottom where I’ll find better icons to put thing. Can someone suggest me a better wallpaper? It needs alotta work. I made my nametag on the initial welcome screen movable while I was trying it out lol.
Started working on the first app- Notes 1.Implemented a draggable notes window with open/close functionality (guitar logo for now). 2.Updated taskbar logo with an ID for click animation. 3.Improved CSS styles and alignments for taskbar, logos, and notes window. [removed the space bw the logos and the taskbar boundary which was bothering me]
So the notes application’s functionality is nearly complete! (The design part is not). I also implemented a way to make change the index of windows upon click to bring them to the foreground. Icons on the taskbar become smaller when selected and comes back to their original size when exiting the window or selecting another window/icon.
I’ve been looking for a better wallpaper but couldn’t find much :( Added those two “see this Angel?” images for I-don’t-know-why but I thought that maybe we can make them clickable and they change their position to a random location on the screen lol. Google searchbar works and Css patches.
Made this Vinyl player which plays My Own Summer (for now) for my webOS. I made this on css mainly and used js to make this functional. The disk rotates aswell as the tone-arm when a song is played. The slider is to adjust the volume.
Ok so I’m pivoting the whole idea into a Goth/Alt theme and hence changed the named to GothOS. I’ve updated the homepage. The vinyl player works better and is more scalable now. I’ll be adding more songs to it. I’m thinking of adding a “Music Playing” flyout on the top left of the OS screen the music is changed.
I just gave the search-bar a typewriter animation, made the header for music-window transparent, customized the taskbar and made it sleeker, changed all png logos to svgs, bug fixes related to screen initialisation. I also gave it a new feature of a “Now Playing” popup/flyer upon changing/starting the tracks.
Added a calculator to the OS but its really buggy rn. All the buttons are concentrated in the bottom right lol. I’ll fix this soon. I added a music visualiser aswell which reacts the the music from the media player in the OS.
I’ve fixed the majority of the bugs related to the calculator and the music visualiser. LETS SHIP THE PROJECT GNG!
I just created this bat pet which follows the mouse cursor on the OS page. The bat image is an SVG and and the wings on the back are animated. Its able to flip to the right before catching up to the cursor when the its is dragged fast across the screen
Changed the unclean gif with a looping mp4 typewriter animated effect on the word “Goth”. Changed the position of the nametag and and added the click event to change webpages on the whole screen. The design looks way better and clean now.
Ships:
I’ve made a Goth/Alt themed WebOS. I’ve made this because I’m fond of Rock Music and I really resonate with Goth Subculture. It has the following features:- Notes/Journal App Vinyl themed music player. A basic calculator “Now Playing” flyer. Music visualiser which reacts to the vinyl player. Google Search Bar with typewriting animation.
Since the last ship for WebOS1. I had already added alotta features which seemed like an overkill for the last one. This time, I’ve added 3 small features and a few bug fixes for WebOS2. Cursor following Bat-pet A better welcome page with animated text saying “Goth”. To-Do list....

There was an exploit (thanks @Ethen for finding it), that if you go behind the boss, you can just avoid the attacks and just win. I patched this by putting a Staticbody2D, so that it blocks the player from going behind the boss. Also, for the difficulty, I made the player AND the boss have more health, and made it that you can HEAL heath when you shoot Beans and your health bar is full. 2nd Devlog of Bukus vs Beans I added a ship that the player has to shoot at, I added randomly moving “drunk” beans, so that the player can shoot for ammo/energy for their gun. The beans just pick a direction and move in a direction for some time, and they keep doing that I also added shoot particles and background particles which, I think, looks quite nice :) It look like quite a while getting hang of the particle system, but I can now confidently use it :) Shoutout to @hedgehog81 for helping me with the particles and other stuff
I got a bit done :) Today I managed to add 2/5 boss attacks as well as soundtrack (from pixabay) and some SFX from JSFXR (they really are the best SFX website lol) What I have left: Make 3 more boss attacks Not get cooked up by the boss in my own game Do voice lines for dramatic story Fix 50 trillion bugs Make some actual art for the bullets Make a Main Menu Since I dont know a lot of Godot coding, my progress is a bit slow, but at least I get more hours in lol :D
IM DONEEEEEEEEE A bit more playtesting and polishing, and I’ll be done What I’ve Done Made a text-to-bullet function for a boss attack. This took SOOOOO long, probably the most technical thing the project. To simplify a lot, its a 5x5 bitmap code shot out with a function to create text Made a shockwave attack. It shoots in a semi circle pattern with some gaps in it Made a bunch of art Added voicelines done by family, which was sped up for less cracking and cuz the voice seemed a but weird Fixed a bunch of bugs Made menu, and made buttons whiter when hovered and darker when clicked Made ded and win screen
The Bukan War is offically DONE :) I’ve made it possible to skip the story I added extra polish, to the win screen, and got rid of some exploits Made the game more fun by adjusting difficulty The YAP: To detect the story skip thing, I just whipped up a simple script that, when space bar is pressed, makes a clone of the transition and swaps scenes. The extra health is a GENIUS, 100IQ effort to get players to play my game longer while also making it a bit easier with those struggling with the game (like me). OH yeah, to the win screen, I just added rainbow coloured particles coming out from the bottom middle of the screen. I just made the colour curve light red, and made the hue variation as MAXED as possible for rainbow colour :)
Ships:
I made a game where you play as a brave buku, and your job is to shoot down the ship and the beans while dodging attacks. I found challenging learning godot’s scripting, since this is my first game on a actual game engine (scratch doesnt count). I am really proud of how my game came together, it looks so polished for my first game. Others should read the controls in the README or Itch.io page and be aware that it takes a few attempts to beat the boss...

To be honest, those three days spent developing Pulsar were a massive headache—especially developing the project’s core (the JavaScript) and getting the whole system to communicate seamlessly without any glitches ☠️. I hadn’t seen this feature anywhere else; I spent hours researching and trying to figure out how it worked. It was a huge headache, too, but—would you look at that—it actually worked! Now the system includes a calculator, a functional built-in browser (with some limitations, but it works), customization options, a notepad, and a guide in case you’re unsure how things work. (Refreshed the entire OS FOUR TIMES, AND THE CONSOLE WAS CLEAN!!) -AND FINALLY… PUSHED COMMIT 7 TO GITHUB!!! Pulsar now has its own desktop apps fully working 100% IK THAT I ALREADY SAID THAT!! BUT: i started this project with an idea, a very simple one tbh “im gonna make my Own web os and i ill finish it in ONE DAY.” i was completely wrong, i’ve been developing it for over A MONTH. I WENT THROUGH LOTS OF THINGS THAT I CANT EVEN EXPLAIN, I LEARNED NEW THINGS, I WENT THROUGH MASSIVE HEADACHES. NOW IM HERE, MY FINAL DEVLOG. GENERAL CLEANUP!! -I removed more obsolete HTML, CSS and JavaScript! -I checked the browser code to make sure I wasn’t deleting something important (again). -And YES, I almost forgot to save my files before committing. Ultra Lite (Ultra litefication) heya guys, today i started something that im calling “Ultra litefication”! The idea is pretty simple, the interface looks complex and modern, but why not make it simpler? -THATS WHAT IM GONNA DO!! -im making the code simpler, by removing more things, like the source map in the html, css and in the javascript. -Im gonna change the boot screen completely. -Fixing some little visual details, and im planning to remove the Applications menu and move all the apps directly onto the pulsar desktop, just like the desktop shortcuts in Windows! This way, you’ll be able to access everything right from the desktop, without having to open a menu, ths lowkey simplifies everything, so everything looks even better What have I done so far? -I changed the appearance of the top bar, starting by the color, it was looking like a glass, so i changed it so the black would be completely solid. -Apps padronization changed too, now everything’s solid black or sum color near that. -Deleted all the source map in the code. -Pushed the code, so all the changes and the commit is already available ( Every commit I make on GitHub counts as a devlog entry here. ) And thats pretty much everything i wanted to say, ill be publishing about my progress every single day till i finish this project, see ya!"}, {"post_id": 82143, "ts": "2026-10-24T03:02:22Z", "hours": 6.56, "text": "FINALLY, WE DID IT, 40 HOURS OF DEVELOPMENT!! Now, the rework is finally done!! I reorganized and simplified tons of things throughout the codebase, like merging repeated CSS blocks (identical headers, footers, and scrollbars), and created variables for text, borders, backgrounds, status colors, and things like that! :D So now, instead of just having random hex colors and repeated values everywhere (not cool), everything is waaaay more organized now :D. Isn’t that nice? And I also fixed a lot of bugs in the CSS: The dark wallpaper overlay is back, now controlled by --desktop-dim . Removed the duplicated .wallpaper-grid class. Fixed the card grid so it only applies inside the Customization window. Notes, Calculator, and Terminal now have their own mobile layout rules instead of overflowing the screen. Guide and Device Manager are properly centered on smaller screens. Signal Log and Customization now use clamp() to fit smaller displays. Removed useless hover effects, unnecessary opacity rules, and unused CSS. I also simplified tons of other things and fixed more issues than I expected. :D BUT, THERE’S SOMETHING IMPORTANT! PULSAR-OS has its own personality. The visual identity is basically fixed and WILL STAY like this. The important details and the app dimensions are still the same. OKAY, WE ARE DOING 50 YEARS IN 5 (Brazillian history class ref). Remember when I said I would start AND finish PULSAR-OS yesterday?? Well… I decided to make that challenge EVEN WORSE KKKKKKKPULSAR already looks like an OS, but I don’t want it to just look like one. I WANT IT TO FEEL LIKE ONE. YEEEEEAH, I ACTUALLY DID IT :D Remember when I said: “PULSAR STARTED YESTERDAY. PULSAR SHIPS TODAY.” WELL… PULSAR SHIPPED. After a LOT of debugging, testing, fixing things, breaking other things while fixing those things KKKKKKKK, and finishing the last parts of the system, PULSAR OS // BUILD 1.0 IS FINALLY DONE. Actually, I’ve been developing Build 1.0 (the remake)! I’ve been fixing bugs, changing some AI stuff, deleting dead stuff from the CSS, cleaning up the code, and doing lots of other things like that! But… what’s actually different?Wallpapers — They were all replaced with real photos taken by the Hubble Space Telescope! I also added a new tab where you can check the sources for all of them, with links to the official ESA pages. Tiny differences — Some small design changes, like changing the opacity of the top bar and menu, plus a bunch of tiny things like that :D I’m still developing and changing tons of stuff, so that’s it for now! See ya :D
THE FINAL DEVLOG 😭😭😭😭😭😭 After days of fixing stuff, rewriting parts of javascript, css and testing EVERYTHING , FINALLY THE REMAKE IS READY!!! but.. what changed? Reworked JavaScript, Html and Css! Fixed bugs and removed a LOT of unnecessary code. Improved the interface and the interface of window manager. Kept all apps, settings, and LocalStorage working 100%. Tested the serial monitor and Device Manager with a Esp32 - STILL WORKS PERFECLY! Cleaned lots of ai stuff and changed the logo made with Ai The hasdest part was definitely cleaning up the code without breaking the whole system, and honestly, sometimes there were moments when i genuinaly thought i was going to lose my mind and i really wanted to give up, but here we are, everything done :D I need to reiterate one thing about the project: the browser DOES WORK. BUILD 1.0 (REMAKE) IS COMPLETE! SEE YA NEXT PROJECT (or devlog, i dunno :D )
FINALLY, WE DID IT, 40 HOURS OF DEVELOPMENT!! I didn’t want to turn the whole project into smth generic just to make the code shorter. The goal was to make the CSS cleaner, easier to understand, and more consistent, without losing what makes PULSAR-OS feel like PULSAR-OS. THE REWORK IS DONE. PULSAR-OS IS STILL ALIVE!! SEE YA IN THE NEXT ADVENTURE!!! :DDD (btw, there are a lot of comments in Brazilian Portuguese (PT-BR) throughout the code, so feel free to use a translator if you want to read them! :D)
BUILD 1.0 VER. -Pushed the code, so all the changes and the commit is already available ( Every commit I make on GitHub counts as a devlog entry here. ) And thats pretty much everything i wanted to say, ill be publishing about my progress every single day till i finish this project, see ya!
Ultra litefication commit 2 this commit has some changes that are really important to the project! -Removed the 5 sec boot screen -Simplified the JavaScript and cleaned the old CSS -Transformed the old “Pulsar // System” into a real welcome window that appears on your screen when you reset the page, i also changed some details of it -Corrected a bug in the code 🐛 -And removed 348 lines of code! AAAAANNDD there’s more updates in the future! do you want a spoiler? 👀 The next victim isss CUSTOMIZATION AND THE WALLPAPER STUFF!!
Ultra litefication commit 3 THIS COMMIT WAS CRAZYYYY -i removed the desktop grid! -Added 8 desktop shortcuts, all working! :D -Removed the old APPLICATIONS button from the topbar -Moved the PULSAR OS name to the left and added BUILD 1.0 (Ultra Lite) in the center! -Added a wallpaper credit system in the bottom right corner of the desktop -Now the wallpaper name and source change automatically when you select another wallpaper! -AND NOW YOU CAN OPEN THE WALLPAPER SOURCE DIRECTLY INSIDE PULSAR WEB!!! :D -All 4 wallpapers are still working perfectly! -I stopped at the customization menu, so we still have things to do! ANDDD I GOT 203 INSERTIONS AND 42 DELETIONS IN THIS COMMIT!! the project is getting cleaner every commit passes by! BUT IM NOT DONE YET!
Ultra litefication commit 4 OK, NOW ITS GETTIN PROFESSIONAL TERMINAL UPDATES : -I simplified the ENTIRE TERMINAL interface!! -I removed unnecessary text and made everything cleaner! -I rewrote the terminal command descriptions (with some personality obviously) -I added a funny response when you try to open the terminal INSIDE the terminal itself 💀 TERMINAL // Bro, I'm literally right here. :| -I removed the Signal Log access from the terminal (the app still exists btw!/ he’s the next target heheh) Customization updates!! -AND I FINALLY REMOVED THE CUSTOMIZATION SIDEBAR!!! -I deleted the old Wallpaper Sources page! -Now all 4 wallpapers appear directly inside the Customization app! :D -I cleaned up the HTML, CSS and JavaScript, removing old elements and dependencies! ANDDDD THIS COMMIT HAD 3509 INSERTIONS AND 4109 DELETIONS!!! I hadn’t made a commit before all this, otherwise, I would have submitted the work only half-finished. I prefer to commit once I’ve actually completed things. 👨💻 I’m getting closer to finishing Build 1.0, but I still have some things to do!! THE FUTURE IS GLORIOUS!! ✨ (new readme ref) ;D
Ultra litefication commit 5 I don’t think I should have even made that commit, but I did. The thing is, I deleted a lot of stuff—like, a LOT. So, I made a quick little commit just to be able to move forward with the project with a clear mind—even though I knew my entire codebase had just lost 358 lines in the span of 40 minutes. -But… why?? Well, here’s the thing: I just finished deleting the entire Signal log. It was basically just junk, and it really only made everything more complicated. AND I ALSO MANAGED TO FINISH THE ENTIRE CUSTOMIZATION SYSTEM!! IT’S READY, AND IT’S FULLY FUNCTIONAL!! Thats it, dunno wat to say… OH YES I HAVE SOMETHING! THERE’S ONLY 6 THINGS I NEED TO DO TILL THE WHOLE PROJECT IS FULLY READY! THE END IS NEAR!!! (in a good way) to be honest im pretty lazy so maybe i i’ll take sum time to finish everything
Ultra litefication commit 6 OK, WE’RE ACTUALLY GETTING CLOSE TO THE END NOW PULSAR WEB UPDATES!! -I FINALLY FINISHED CLEANING UP PULSAR WEB!!! -I removed the old status bar and footer! -I deleted the unnecessary JavaScript references left behind by those elements! -I kept the internal navigation history, so the back and forward buttons still work! -The network indicator is still alive btw, DON’T WORRY 💀 -And the external navigation button is still there! GENERAL CLEANUP!! -I removed more obsolete HTML, CSS and JavaScript! -I checked the browser code to make sure I wasn’t deleting something important (again). -And YES, I almost forgot to save my files before committing. PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPER MOMENT. :| This commit had 47 insertions, and about 259 deletions on the code Im almost done with Build 1.0!! Now I just need to test everything, review the README, update the screenshots and give the code one final formatting pass! ONE. LAST. COMMIT. SEE YA ON THE LAST COMMIT (maybe in a couple hours)
Ultra litefication commit 7 - THE LAST!! PULSAR OS BUILD 1.0 (ULTRA LITE) IS FINALLY FINISHED!!! AFTER SO MANY BUGS, FIXES, REWRITES AND WAY TOO MANY LINES OF CSS, I ACTUALLY DID IT!!! FINAL UPDATES: -FINISHED THE ULTRA LITEFICATION PROCESS!! -Cleaned up the HTML, CSS and JavaScript! -Formatted all three files using Prettier! -Updated the README and screenshots! -Tested ALL the applications, buttons and window controls! This is pretty awkward ngl, i already tried shipping it multiple times, but idk why, im feeling more confident this time lol. Thanks for reading, also thanks for everyone who liked all my devlogs and supported me in the slack. For the third and the last time… BUILD 1.0 // COMPLETE. Stop thinking about it — DO IT. & THE FUTURE IS GLORIOUS!!! ✨🚀
here it is, all the code, there’s no AI anymore, theres nothing left, its 100% made by me im tired , and im just trying to see if someone can review this correctly, it is all formatted with prettier ( vs code ), and ive manually rewritten the parts that previously used AI assistance. hope this really helps me at all

This is Pulsar OS, a WebOS focused on hardware and software development. To be honest, those three days spent developing Pulsar were a massive headache—especially developing the project’s core (the JavaScript) and getting the whole system to communicate seamlessly without any glitches ☠️. And I won’t lie: I’m really proud to have successfully made the WebOS communicate properly with an ESP32 or even an Arduino! All in all, it turned into a pretty complete system that I’m happy to share with you all! SEE YA IN THE NEXT PROJECT!!...
