Hey! My name is Mihai and I just started building AiRY, a programming language where you write code in plain natural language instead of strict syntax. The Idea Why do you need to memorize complicated syntax just to tell a computer what to do? AiRY lets you write normal instructions in any language you want, and the system translates them into executable code called AiRY Core. The architecture is simple: an AI layer that understands what you want to do, and a deterministic execution layer that runs the code consistently every time. What I’ve Done So Far I defined the initial specification of AiRY Core — basically the rules that make the language work: set — declares a variable show — displays a value read — reads input if / else / elseif — conditionals loop — equivalent of for infloop — equivalent of while Basic arithmetic and logical operations A rule system for handling errors and unsupported operations I also integrated a language model (Gemma 4-31B via Hugging Face) that translates natural language into AiRY Core using a custom prompt system. It works surprisingly well, even with variables written in Chinese.
Hi guys!!!! Sry for lack of devlog, I really forgot like forgot forgot. Anyway I want to announce you that my AI interpreter is ready, like it transform pretty well from Natural Language to actual code (that I decided to name AiRY Core). It also knows multiple languages (in the images below there is chinese I think) . I would like to present you what my programming language has till now: normal operations, bitwise operations, if, else, elseif, loop (like for), infloop (like while), set (declares dynamical variable) . I think it is enough for now and I am going to step in and make a rust interpreter, btw I do not know rust at all. I am letting you the images below, hope you enjoy my project :)))
So…..First, I made some changes in the syntax of the language: from now on every operation ( -, +, /, *, %, &, |, ^, ~ ) must be preceded by perform , like perform x+1 or perform x&2 I also started to do the interpreter in rust: -token.rs (defines every function as a word) -ast.rs (makes structures with tokens) Problems in interpreter till now: -you can write just perform x+1 and not perform 1+1 , cus if you write perform 1+1 it has to return somewhere and perform x+1 just increments x with 1, but this eliminates the posibility to declare x with an operation (I mean the value), like set x perform 1+1 What do you think should I keep perform ????? Anyway see you in next devlog!!
In this short devlog I want to announce you the last changes in the AiRY / AiRY Core standard lib (saying this cus I am planning to add more libs after I finish this one) : perform became unmutable; what does that mean: when you write perform x+1 the value of x won’t be increased by one, insted you shoul write x = perform x+1 Anyway token.rs and ast.rs are ready, I am now moving on to the lexer.rs (the component that translates the input code in structures and tokens from ast.rs and token.rs) See you soon!!!
So I created a lexer, it looks good, right? And now i am moving on to the next part: the parser (where I will have to verify the syntax and combine the tokens generated by the lexer in structures, named statements, that can be then translated directly into code).
What I did I finished the parser 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉. So what a parser do is that it takes the tokens generated by the lexer and creates structures with them, also verifying the syntax of the code. For this ⬅️⬆️ it uses the ast (Abstract Syntax Tree). Changes of plans I recently discovered Cranelift, that I give the structures generated by the parser and translates them in machine code, and it is way faster than my first option to write a rust interpreter that would’ve done the same thing.
Finally ready….. I have built the Cranelift interpreter😮💨😮💨😎😎🎉🎉. The programming language is now stable you can write some programs in it and works perfectly, out puts perfectly. Last thing Now to finish it I have to translate all python part into rust so I can make a stable release.
OK……..I just translated almost all the python in rust. I used some AI here to boost up this things, I also wrote down some instructions for the use of the language. Hope you like it, hope you like my idea, I want someday to make this language one of the biggest. Maybe you can contact me and we can create a large community :))) Executables I created an app for Ubuntu, one for macOS and one for Windows. The idea behind Quotify was to create a simple but polished experience where users can discover quotes, explore different categories, save their favorites, and quickly share quotes they enjoy. The app includes: Random quote generation Quote categories Favorite quotes with Local Storage One-click quote copying Custom toast notifications Responsive design for desktop, tablet, and mobile A clean dark-themed interface An About page explaining the project The project was built from scratch using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, then deployed using GitHub Pages. The biggest challenge was turning a simple idea into a complete application with multiple connected features. Some of the hardest parts were: Learning how to structure a multi-page website Making JavaScript interact correctly with different HTML pages Building a favorites system using Local Storage Creating dynamic category pages Making the design responsive across different screen sizes Debugging issues after deployment One memorable challenge happened after deploying the project. Some features appeared to be broken, including notifications and styling changes. After investigating, I discovered that my browser was loading cached versions of old files. A hard refresh fixed the issue, but it taught me an important lesson about testing the actual deployed version of a project. I am most proud of taking Quotify from a simple concept into a finished, usable application. Throughout development, I improved my skills in: Writing cleaner JavaScript Manipulating the DOM Managing user data with Local Storage Creating modern CSS layouts Building responsive interfaces Debugging real-world problems Deploying and maintaining a live project I am especially proud of the final design because I focused on making it feel like a real product rather than just a school project. The dark minimalist interface, animations, custom favicon, and smooth interactions helped bring the idea together. To test Quotify: Open the live demo: https://nyvrixista.github.io/Quotify/ Try generating new quotes using the New Quote button. Save quotes by pressing the ❤️ Save button. Visit the Favorites page to view your saved quotes. Explore different quote categories (currently only one). Try the project on both desktop and mobile devices to experience the responsive design. No account is required. Favorites are stored directly in the browser using Local Storage. Building Quotify was a great learning experience. It helped me understand what it takes to create a complete web application, from the first idea to the final deployment. Thank you to Hack Club and Stardance for motivating me to build, experiment, and finish this project. Stay inspired. So i finished writing the HTML, CSS and the JavaScript file, its a working website, but i need to make more pages for the navigation bar i just implemented, and also more functions. Stay Tuned!
So after 1 hour, i added the categories page and filtered the motivation quotes, next i will add more quotes and more categories. Later!
Added a favorites feature, still in progress!
I finished working on the favorites feature, now next will be Toast Notiications…. Stay Tuned!
Finished adding the Toast Notifications, they will appear in the bottom-right corner of the screen when copying the quote, saving it or removing it from the home page. Now i will go make the about page… We are almost finished guys!
I polished the website and made sure its responsive on mobile.
Alr, i just finished reworking the CSS, made the website look like an old book (not really, just the color palletes), now I need to add a cool feature, the problem is that idk what can be a god feature in a quote app, im still thinking about this tho.
Added more quotes to my quotes.js file
So i added a feature that could make my website feel like a game…. Its rarities!!! So basically i will remove the idea of it being a generic quote site and turn it into a game where you collect quotes, im still working on the collection part, im so excited to finish this project!
Ok, during this time i added Collections, a place where you collect all the quotes in a safe place. Second feature i added are Achievements, crucial to a game like this. Removed Copy, Save, Categories and Favorites page, as it was useless to me. More info in Ship…

Keep building.
I polished the website into a video game!...

Finished the PCB! Took a while, mostly because I forgot to actually install the default KiCad Libraries when I first installed it and that took me a while to figure out… anyways, now I just gotta make the CAD design, make the code, and I’m good to go!
Progress! Finally. Now that I’m no longer limited by the streak (I don’t gotta do stuff everyday, so I can finish everything I start without risking having nothing left for tomorrow) I can do anything… the Blare mission is going down today. First, I had to correct some stuff from the PCB, then made it pretty, added the proper 3D models for everything and started the enclosure design, I think I’m going to go with a classic design, y’know? Something kinda squarish, with a nice bevel, buttons on the top but on the far back, maybe add some stuff about my dog? I dunno, I have to go, but I’ll be back in an hour to finish this.
Finished the BLARE CAD I know, I know, I said I’d finish this 13 days ago, but I’ve been really busy. To be honest I don’t even know if I’ll be able to finish the code today, I’ve never even touched Arduino IDE, so I might need AI to do it (ugh). Anyways, after I’m done with this project I should have a great total of 30 hours done, earning my Stardust Certificate, which is cool, sadly I will probably get no Stardust from this mission, since they only get 5 Stardust per hour on construction, not design… still, it was fun.
I’m done!...
