Devlogs:
I created a food rect and animal rect and started experimenting with movement
Added hunger display and made the herbivore move to grab plants
Not much, worked on plant spawning and the herbivore calculations to find food
I started making the logic that would allow the herbivore to seek out plants and remove plants once eaten, then proceeded to battle with bugs for the next couple of hours Hopefully more progress tomorrow, this project is probably going to take a while because it has proven more difficult that I first imagined, but I’m gonna stick with it and persevere
-(hopefully) finished plant tracking algorithm as well as plant spawning -added water spawning but not thirst (yet) -I probably won’t upload anything tomorrow because I’m getting my wisdom teeth removed but hopefully I’ll be back by Wednesday -I’m estimating I can finish the programming part of this project in another day or two but depending on bugs that could change
GUYS WE ARE ALMOST DONE WITH THE CODE!!! -Finished herbivore code for plants and water, as well as all water code -Started creating carnivore and got most of the way through making it as it was relatively bug-free (thank God)
-Worked on carnivore AI and did some bug fixing -I expect to be finished with the coding very soon so I can move on to art
-FINISHED CODING -Started work on sprite drawings and stuff -Done any day now
-Finished ALL sprites and incorporated them into the code meaning that the project is DONE -All that’s left is to finish up the repository and link everything then it’s shipping time!!! -Ik 0 people have seen any of these devlogs but lets friggin go guys WE did this
-Final balancing and making sure no bugs slipped past me -Time to ship baby!!

Encryption adds an extra layer of security by hiding information so that only someone with the correct method or key can read it. Two popular examples of ciphers are the Caesar cipher and the Vigenère cipher. The Caesar cipher is a substitution cipher that shifts every letter by the same number. Instead of using one number every time, it uses a code word to create different shifts for each letter, making the encryption more complex. Khan Academy is a great resource for learning more about these ciphers! In short, CryptoBot is a computer system that can encrypt and decrypt messages using cryptography. Devlogs:
Started building Mahoraga! Mahoraga is an AI system that lives on my computer as a personal assistant, similar to jarvis, but, when facing a new problem, it adapts to the solution, and stores it in it’s memory, in order to constantly improve.
Started working on the UI for mahoraga. No features rn, but working on the chat interface, which will be the primary way of accessing Mahoraga
Finished Chat Interface and system artitechture of Mahoraga. I also was able to build Mahoraga’s wheel, which spins at different speeds depending on what task it is doing. Let me know if you have any more ideas for what I can add to Mahoraga. Up next are tools for easier access to certain things on my computer, and I am aiming to eventually add connection to my Raspberry Pi. The API key I got for free from Google AI studio also makes testing a lot harder, so I will be looking for alternatives.
Been working on Mahoraga’s tool system, which will be the primary way that I will be using Mahoraga. So far, it can locate and identify parts of projects, like folders and files, which I have given it permission to view, but it cannot edit anything. Additionally, I made it available to run with just the simple command “mahoraga”.
Added the ability to open websites, read information on said websites, and open folders and applications on my computer using Mahoraga. This is a very major success, but I am working on something major for the next part of my project: Mahoraga’s adaptation. Also facing my biggest problem yet: How to continue testing with a horrible API key. 😭
Added improved features for opening coding projects and files using Mahoraga. However, my next obstacle is getting these projects to open in a code editor, like VS code.
Been working on Mahoraga. Added Serial Communication, which allows for Mahoraga to moniter devices connected to my computer, and their most recent output, and also added connecting and disconnecting to devices like the Raspberry Pi and Arduino through USB. Next step is to finish with hardware, and incorperate everything into the UI.
Been working on improving my code, and adding a few more features into the Hardware components. Soon, I will begin working on improving the UI.
Been working on Mahoraga. Unfortunately, there are alot of issues that I was unable to identify earlier, so the ship will have to be delayed slightly :(. Working on finishing my last features, then doing one big bugfix.
Been working on Mahoraga: all that remains is just some UI improvements, and then I will be able to ship this project!
Finished Mahoraga! Added all the UI changes I wanted, and I also created the README / Release for the project. Right now it’s only available for mac, but feel free to edit the code to work for your own computer! Time to ship this project!
Added lots of changes to Mahoraga, including changing packaging format, and working on adding HCAI support.
Finished adding changes to Mahoraga! Also, I have added HCAI support, allowing for minors to use Mahoraga effectively, though the amount of tools they can use is also limited. If you have a mac, feel free to try this amazing tool out!
Ships:
Shipped Mahoraga! Loved working on this project, and while there are definitely areas for improvement, I do feel satisfied with my result. This will most likely be my last ship for this year’s Stardance challenge. See you next year!...

In JavaScript I set the camera setup, motion tracking, game state, physics/collision, rendering, main loop. For asteroids, spawnInterval inside update() controls how fast asteroids start appearing. The 0.35 smoothing factor in sampleMotion() and the dt*8 easing in update() control how snappy or floaty the ship feels.Defined all colors once as CSS variables at the top of css file. The canvas size is determined by width/height attributes on canvas (both the HTML attribute and the W/H constants near the top of the script). DEVLOG # 2: Guyss everything is going southh evrything that coud go wrong went wrong! i cant see the google font i imported, the enable camera button is not working maybe once i write the complete script it will start to function properly..defined te resettgame, startcamera and sampleMotion , the start camera is NOT working idk i should look into it however this is how it looks till now: (same as before ik lol)
DEVLOG # 3: FINAL DEVLOG yaayyayyayyyayyyyy sooo MISSION CONTROL is a browser game you play by moving your head in front of your webcam In case you dont have webcam, dont worry, you can use keyboard! Sooo I wrotw the JS and CSS code and it all finaallyy works. This runs entirely client-side, at low resolution, so it’s cheap enough to do every frame without a GPU or external API. There’s no face/head-detection model involved.
DEVLOG # 4: Changed the project UI from blue to neon greenish color it looks wayyyy better…at first i had a simple triangular shaped spaceship BUT NOW IT LOOKS LIKE A VERYY REAL SPACESHIP it looked a bit big before, reduced the size now it looks a bit small lmao anyways here is how it looks: I LOVE THE NEW FONT!!
DEVLOG #5: (hopefully) last devlog, worked mostly on the html code, the score wasnt showing up properly when game ended so fixed that, debugged the code for tracking sensitivty, didnt do any styling work so i dont have anything to show you guys anyways heres a pic of my code instead :>
DEVLOG ?? Shipped but got rejected(again) im gonna be changing everything about this I did not change the ui much but made a few change to the code Now just move your hand to move the ship Dont hit the asteroids and collect the star orbs to get higher score! If your motion is not detected incraese sensitivity
Ships:
I built Mission Control, a browser game where you steer a spaceship using your webcam and it tracks motion by comparing video frames. I’m most proud of the motion tracking itself, since something that simple ends up feeling responsive, and the pause button, which matters more than it seems in a webcam game where you might need to stop mid-session! also also it can also track hands!! yayy The trickiest part wasn’t turning the camera on, but everything around it ! keeping the mirrored movement intuitive, tuning the motion-sensitivity threshold so it’s neither jittery nor unresponsive, and making sure the ship holds its position instead of snapping to a corner when you’re not moving....

#Devlog 0: I made the base of the WebOS I was thinking of going for a retro design but im still not sure, I made the top bar with the title and time and i added an app which was youtube which brings you to youtube.
#Devlog 1: I added a monitor and apps on it i will add a search bar next.
#Devlog 2: I changed everything to Dublin theme and now the WebOS is called DublinOS, so after deleting most things and adding the Dublin theme I made the welcome window where you can drag it where ever and if you press the red button it closes the window.
#Devlog 3: So I finished DublinOS, this devlog I added Apps and fixed draggable windows, the apps I added were Notes and Gallery.
#Devlog 4: I shipped my project and i’m now working on the WebOS 2 mission, the mission says I need to have 3 new features so in this session I made 2 new apps one which is a browser with the liffey river themed to it and a shortcuts app to bring me to all my favourite and most used websites!
#Devlog 5: This Devlog I added a new app “Music”! the music app plays some bangers (Only one banger :) ) and I improved some features.

Tweaked the splash text javascript on my about me page and the css on the last-played last.fm widget for visual clarity. As a subsitute, I am now using the unit ‘em’ and the song seems to be displaying properly with 2 different songs.
Music Page Fixes + Updates 🧰 Fixed a CSS issue where track titles in the album reviews on my music page overflowed onto the next album. Set the height of each container to height: fit-content; and added padding to the inside of each container for visual aesthetic. 🎉 Added 2 new albums: “SMILE! :D” and “834.184” to celebrate. 💿 fr the CD (it’s actually a dvd) in the background rotates! is it tuff or nah

writing is fun :’) I reviewed a few books (read: 2 books) that I read this year in my blog. I’m really unsatisfied with how the blog looks so I will definitely redo the whole blog at somepoint.

Part 4 is done! Added 4 more opcodes, took longer than expected. Opcodes were: OP_CallVar, OP_BuildResults, OP_Vararg, and, OP_ReturnMulti.

More back and forth trying to make it as uncrackable as possible. Next up is heavy LLM proofing.
