Devlogs:
WHY IS IT SOOOOO COMPLICATED First, I installed it on Omarchy , but I had problems since it’s not officially supported. Then I installed Debian , which took way longer than expected. I also tried it on Windows , but Lapse and Lookout didn’t work :( Now back on Debian , I’m getting some artifacting bugs, but it’s usable :D
Made basic movement So you can move and jump now ! jumping still needs a bit of adjustment.
Finally finished the movment I finished basic movement and Added sprinting!
Made sliding mechanic So you can Slide now there is a cooldown of 1.25 seconds so its not OP!
Dear NVIDIA… 3 times, i reinstalled debian 3 times because of the stupid drivers, one time it just didn’t work then got it working but secure boot coudn’t be enabled. But it was all worth it :)
Im not really having fun… So i’ve been folowing tutorials for movement and i wasn’t having fun and quickly get distracted so i just made a fun parcour with a boucing mechanic (myself btw). The 360 at the end was so sick!
PC overheating…. So my pc overheights since im on linux and they don’t have my motherboard drivers so my fans don’t work si my gpu overheats! I can’t switch to windows where fans are working normally :(
Made Katana and Enemies ! Now if your in distance enemies will shoot you and you can attack them by left clicking when you are close. Next I’m going to implement parrying!
Migrated to windows My pc was overheating on linux since my fan sensors weren’t working on linux, and now i use Direct X12 and not OpenGL 4.5 . I don’t know if i should be happy or sad.
Made Parrying you can now parry and i added a sound effect! What is so fun about making a game is that you can do anything with it like i made an enemy shoot infinity and it created this cool effect!
Yes didn’t know animations were that hard
Going to keep the basic model I find the basic model, he has mega aura so im going to keep it (and it helps with performance!)
MADE MY FIRST MODEL it may be ugly, but I MADE IT
Level 1 is now working it may be bad but i put alot of effort on this one :)
Monkey dancing Gangnam Style before GTA 6 ?? It took 1h30, was it worth it? Absolutly.
Added the music
Added buch of things Now when you parry the bullet will reverse and go where you look. Added sword swing sound effect & Started making level 2!
Deleted it all yes i said hey free 16gb on my pc and minutes later realized the big mistake…
IM BACKKKKKKKK i reinstalled windows, repasted graphics card (dropped 30°C), in the past week. Look at all this dust, no wonder why it was overheating…
Full level 2 implementation and transition between levels and heart system with vulnarability! I added a heart system with a 10s vulnability each time you get heart! The level 2 is kinda hard (even as a pro gamer) Added transition between the levels when you reach the end :)
Why the game is so ugly I CAN’T MODEL, my designing skills are soooo bad and let’s not talk about modeling….. But i still took a lot of time and effort to make an “ ok ” map, it may be ugly, but its the best i could! please don’t try to understand the storyline….
10 humans vs 1 monkey We can finally know who will win 10 humans vs 1 monkey (but the monkey doesn’t attack…) i wonder who will win!
Made Start menu is this a W menu? i worked really hard on the background. btw the quit button moves every 1.5 secondes so its harder to quit :)
ITS REALEAAAAAASED i did alot of small adjustmenets for release check it out here . Its tested for windows and linux, unfortantly i don’t own any mac devices.
Its on the web ! you can try it out here
README IS DONE i feel kinda sad but happy at the same time that its finishing..

It’s a fully functional typing test that runs entirely in your terminal - same ghost text you type over, same live stats - minus the tab, the ads, and the internet connection. Open a terminal, run one command, start typing. No account. No telemetry. No JS. No TS. No BS. Just curses and a word list. Why it feels right Most terminal typing tests either regenerate a whole new screen per test which is annoying, don’t show you a real prompt to type against which feels like a guessing game, or make you dig through a settings menu every single run (annoying again.) Glyph fixes all three. How it’s built Glyph is one dependency-free Python file built on curses . A few things worth knowing if you’re reading the source: Layout engine - a small word-wrap pass maps every character index in the target passage to a (row, col) on screen before rendering, so the ghost text, the typed overlay, and the real cursor position always agree with each other, even after a terminal resize. Time mode auto-extends - if you’re typing fast enough to reach the end of the buffered passage before your timer runs out, Glyph silently generates more text behind the scenes. You’ll never hit a wall mid-sprint. WPM math - standard (correct characters ÷ 5) ÷ minutes elapsed , plus a separate raw WPM that includes mistakes, so you can see both your real throughput and your typing accuracy trade-off. Contributing Issues and PRs welcome - especially new themes and word lists. Keep it dependency-free, that’s the whole point. License MIT. Do whatever you want with it. Seriously."}]...

Added a new level kinda, with the moving platforms. As well as checkpoint 6. But then I realised that the checkpoints looked kinda bad, and the platform were signalling the checkpoint anyways, so I hid the block with the checkpoint logic, and the logic still runs despite being invisible, making the overall game look much better
Made a like part where there are these scary red lasers going up and down, you have to like move your character. Also started working on the finish line, wanted to make it like very very minimalistic to be funny kinda, all that for a single flag. Will start polishing and implementing finish logic.
Organised the coins properly, along with having the winscreen logic and everything. Also have the red lasers the killing logic, as before they just did nothing.

I added some new commands but it took a bunch of my time. I found myself stuck in adding /ssb-weather and /ssb-ipinfo because I was unable to get Web API and format right. Well the rest were not much of a problem, so it went smooth after that.
Finally pushed it into git repo and setup ssh server to run it 24/7
I made a Demo Web for my bot and patched up this project you can check demo site on sanjaybinayak.hackclub.app
I was requested to fix my /ssb-userinfo command, and I fixed it just now. My users and links from slack command were not escaping to my bot, instead it was receiving plain text. So i fixed my slack API commands and improved my code.

I made a website that uses a NASA API to load information on space. The most challenging part was styling my website with CSS because changing the size of the image, trying to center the text, and other small tweaks caused results I didn’t intend. However, I’m most proud that I was able to finally get my website to look how I want it to, and that I have ideas on how to improve it on my next ship....

I finally decided to put this project on stardance. Currently, you can print simple drawings(very annoying to slice them). The next goal will be making a slicer that slices scalable vector graphics(svg) into .banana files
SVG stuff =D I finally made a basic SVG shape extractor. It uses the svgelements python library to get information about svg images. The next step will be making a basic slicer, which will be able to use this information to “slice” the svg into a .banana file for the printer. Infill is gonna be annoying to implement though.
My image slicer is finally working =o I finally got the slicer to start giving me sliced files(only took like an hr =D ) The first image is the image i am supposed to get, but the next image is what i got lol. The intelligence of my slicer is now not 0 I took a lot of time rewriting the slicer’s infill methods, and now the slicer can print objects that aren’t squares. I also added padding so the image you print isn’t crammed into the corner Whats next testing with more advanced svgs GUI slicer
my 2d printer finally printed its first picture =D slicer takes forever to slice it though, so I need to optimize it Whats next? Slicer stuff - Faster and better - GUI
it made stardance logo(trust i should get an award for this) This was a result of TONS of tuning(took like 50 min, but ig hackatime doesn’t support my slicer =p ) The printer needs some work on when to start and stop extruding. im not gonna put a whats next here, i made like 3 devlogs today 😭
Bottom tier 2D printer moment The slicer is absolutely NOT cooperating. I made two versions, each of which are better suited to different scenarios. They both are kinda bad, but I did optimize the slicer a bit. When from 35 elements/sec to around 25 elements/sec. Slicing still kinda takes a while though send food pls, im hungry

It has 12 keys, 1 rotary encoder, a 128x32 OLED display, XIAO RP2040. I designed the PCB board and schematic in Kicad, the case in Fusion360, and programmed it using QMK firmware. The most challenging part was the whole project as I have no prior knowledge in PCB making or case making infact i have never even thought of making any sort of hardware lol. But I gotta with consistency and hard work you can achieve anything! If I had to point to some very difficult challenges I faced then it is probably the LEDs because Kicad kept throwing me various errors saying LED pins are too close ;-; I looked far and wide on google and youtube couldn’t solve it so I just removed those LEDs. Also making the QMK firmware was very annoying not that difficult it was just utterly annoying ;-; because it took me like 30 minutes to compile my code and stuff probably because I have a Potato PC. I am proud of the whole project because it is my first hardware project but I am exceptionally proud of the top plate design I made for my case it is inspired from kintsugi! 4 keys control the movement like a D-PAD, 4 keys funtion as the action keys, 2 keys as the left and right shoulder button and the last 2 keys as the start and select button. The rotary encoder’s click feature doesn’t work because of lack of pins but you can rotate it to change volume. DEVLOG #12 Hello y’all!! I am so excited to share with you that my first hack club project aka my first hardware project is finally completed!!!! Man not gonna lie I learnt a laaaat from these 2 weeks of grinding lmfao this was such a fabulous experience!! I can’t believe I am done lol xD Also this means it will be my last Devlog of DONUT PAD :p but don’t y’all worry I will be right back with another project!! Here’s the github repository link for DONUT PAD: https://github.com/adonutartist/Nemos-Hackpad-DONUT-PAD Thank you to everyone who liked my devlogs I hope I get my project approved soon so that I can receive that kit to make DONUT PAD a real thing ehehehe!! Cyaaaa!!
Build Phase #1: Got my PCB today so immediately started the build phase! Soldered all the components and assembled everything. Was pretty easy ngl let’s see how the firmware turns out I js hope all works ;-;
Build Phase #2 Completed most of firmware for all the keys and rotary encoder working… I didn’t use qmk for this cuz of its insanely high compile time idk why my lappy is js old ig but qmk takes age to compile so I js used Arduino IDE. While I was working I got this weird green line of doom despair which means my screen is slowly dieing ;-; man o man. Also i couldn’t get the OLEDA to work idk why I think it’s prolly loose solder or maybe bridging? Well tmrw imma unassemble once and check on tht
Build Phase #3 Completed the build phase first i unassembled everything and found out tht my soldering wasn’t the problem i checked with a multimeter but wht i did was greater js a soldering error. it was frikin pcb error. yeh so umm the oled thingie if u check its image on hackpad mission page u will see its pin order is down to up but wht i did in my pcb was tht the order was up to down so thts why it didnt work and reviewers didn’t even notice well its more my mistake than theirs anways so i thought maybe if i can desolder this i solder jumper wires from correct pin to its pad but naw i couldnt even desolder i tried using a desolder pump and a copper wick but it js didnt ;-; this is so dam insane!!!!! well anyways everything works except tht oled so yeh cool macropad successfully done!

I made a macropad called the DONUT PAD (or Nemo’s Hackpad), it is a macropad that functions as game controller/game pad. The Case uses a sandwich mounting style....

The part I found challenging was making the gitignore file idk it wasn’t working. This is the first thing I’ve ever made with code. The bot doesn’t work in dms...

The reason why I made this is because after I made my flight tracker map I wondered why not make one for satellites as well, but on a globe. After all they are just as if not even more cool and fascinating. Anyways, here are the project features. This can all be found in the projects README as well. Features 3D Globe View - Feel free to traverse freely around the globe to find any satellite in orbit. 3D Satellite Models - View a 3D Model of the ISS or currently tracked satellite. Day/Night Line - Easily see which satellites are visible in daylight or shrouded in night. 16000+ Satellites - View from a list of over 16000 satellites, including the ISS, Starlink, Weather, Research and more satellites. Updates are roughly every 3s. Satellite Search - Looking for a satellite in particular? Simply search for it using the searchbar. Accurate TLE Data - TLE data is updated every 24 hours, ensuring the satellite paths will always be accurate and up to date. HUD-Style View - View information for any satellite by simply clicking on it. Information includes position, altitude, orbital period, and more. Tracking-Style View - Lock a satellite to your screen or simply explore its past and future path to follow its journey. Devlog 1 Hello everybody! I have decided to start work on a new project called SatTrack , which, as the name implies, is a satellite tracker. I have actually seen a couple satellite trackers created here, but they have all seem to have either been abandoned or deleted, which is a shame because those concepts had a really cool concept in my opinion. Anyways, I added the 3d globe using react-globe.gl, and also used the example documentation to create a day/night ternimator. Unfortunately react-globe.gl does not support 3d terrain so I am considering switching to react-map-gl and maplibre.
Devlog 2 I’m back to working on this project again, sorry for the delay in development. In this devlog I have added live tracking of the ISS to the globe by fetching the TLE data (which in simple terms is a multi line file that gives mathematical data relating to a satellites position, rotation, motion, and other relevant properties). Thankfully I did not have to deal with most of that vector math and delegated it to the satellite.js library which gave the essential positions like latitude, longitude, and height. Devlog 3 Another update today! This time I added paths to each satellite so we can visualize the future positions of where a satellite will be, which can be accurate for a while based on how high up the satellite is. I also added the CALSPHERE 1 and CALSPHERE 2 alongside the ISS in the demo to visualize multiple satellites.
Devlog 4 Another pretty big feature added in this devlog, you can now see every satellite in orbit! I had a bit of trouble with this feature, and originally I tried to add the 3d dots and paths like the other satellites but this causes major performance issues with over 16000 satellites in orbit. I also tried offloading calculations to a web worker, but that also had some performance issues as well. In the end I decided to resort to using the particles api that react-globe.gl has and it works exceptionally well, and even allows for a relatively quick refresh rate while still keeping the site relatively smooth.
Devlog 5 - 3D ISS Model + Satellite Tracking A custom 3D model for the ISS has been added, alongside a basic satellite tracking implementation. I decided that the site should have more life rather than just thousands of green dots, so I made the ISS easily identifyable by giving it a custom model. I want to expand this to more satellites, but I don’t think my pc will like thousands of 3d objects, so maybe only a few satellites will have it and others like the 11000+ starlink ones will not. Who could’ve guessed the integrated gpu on my laptop really does not like thousands of polygons being rendered at once. Oh yeah I also added a basic satellite tracking mode where you can click a satellite and automatically follow its journey. Next I will probably add an overlay to give you information on that satellite. Anyways, thank you for reading and I’ll post more updates shortly.
Devlog 6 - Satellite Search + QOL Changes Another day another feature added! This time I added a search function to automatically go to any satellite that is looked up. I also added a couple quality of life changes, mostly regarding satellite paths and tracking. The satellite paths now only show if the satellite is actively being tracked, and now expand to a range 1h in the past (solid line) to 1h in the future (dashed line). Devlog 7 - Tracking HUD + Other Tracking Improvements Added a few polishing changes related to tracking, and now all the features are complete. A couple things were added here, a HUD style display that shows some simple information relating to the satellite (location, altitude, period, classification, etc.,). Devlog 8 - Deployment + GitHub Actions The first version of SatTrack has now been deployed to github pages! I had to setup github actions for the first time to automate fetching TLE data and committing to the repo and publishing the site after. I made this game MakeKoshary-3d using threejs and RAPIER physics, in this game you are tasked with making a delicious egyptian dish known as koshary, in a local egyptian village inspired by my home village. the way you play this game is very simple because you only need to use one key, the space key. you need to hold the key to pour the ingredients and you must focus not to overpour or underpour. and to prevent boredom the game gradually gets harder the more you play....

But Chrome strictly blocks webcam access on unencrypted HTTP connections unless it is localhost. The Fix: I set up an Nginx reverse proxy to route frontend and API traffic through a single port. Then, I wrote dynamic JavaScript routing and piped the whole thing through an ngrok tunnel. Now, I can spin up the containers, run the tunnel, and send friends a secure HTTPS link to play against me locally! i’ve been working on my personal website, a space to bring together my projects, experiments, and interests in one place. i wanted to build something that felt distinctly mine rather than rely on a standard portfolio template. the idea was to create a website with its own visual identity, drawing inspiration from retro internet aesthetics, y2k interfaces, and pixel art, while still making it practical to navigate and explore. the project brings together html, css, and javascript, with separate pages for different parts of my work and interests. i’ve also been working on getting everything organised and deployed through github pages, so the site is accessible beyond my local development environment. this is the first devlog for the project, documenting the work as the website takes shape. there’s plenty of room to experiment, refine the design, and introduce new ideas, but getting the site up and running is a solid starting point. more updates as the project evolves.
Architecture & Layout Progress:Retro-Futuristic Visual Engine: Engineered a dark-mode cyberpunk aesthetic using custom pixel typography (THOUGHTS. STORIES. REAL LIFE.), neon pink accent palettes, and a faint background grid overlay. Interactive Game Boy Graphic Component: Rendered a high-fidelity vector hand-held console displaying a pixel art night skyline, complete with dynamic control buttons and custom branding (PRATHAMESH.EXE). Modular Navigation Infrastructure: Built top-level routing for main sections: HOME, BLOG, PROJECTS, ABOUT, and CONTACT.
:Built out modular project routing across stardance.html, blog.html, and common-ground.html. Implemented a custom 3D perspective tilt engine for DOM elements using event-driven mouse coordinate mapping. Handled dynamic bounding rect recalculations (getBoundingClientRect()) to compute normalized hover offsets and apply real-time rotateX/rotateY CSS transforms. Added clean event cleanup via mouseleave listeners to instantly purge inline transform styles on blur.
I wanted to add something fun to my portfolio, so I built Pixel.exe, a little pixel-art alien with animations, moods, and interactive controls. I’m currently working on making it wander around the screen smoothly without breaking everything else (the bugs are part of the experience at this point 💀). Next, I want to add hidden interactions, collectible Stardust, and a few secrets for anyone curious enough to click around. Still a work in progress!
