I have done the projects section Sorry for a 3hr devlog ;-; My first design for this part is scroll sync-link (or whatever it called), meaning that when you scroll the site, instead of boring scroll like normal, the site will change itself based on the scroll. Sound cool right >:) Thats until you work on its. It took me so much time that I decided to move to the traditional, click to see method.
My site is live now
It is quite a long time from the last update, isn’t it >:) To sum up, I’m moving to Astro for SSG and TailwindCSS so I don’t have to manually do the CSS Also, I’m adding new section is about my life (or education )
Some updates here: I split the education into a separate part I have done the about me page. I think I have to reorganize the about me page because it looks a bit messy. I have done the projects page: Thats all
I’m doing the responsive UI
The UI for phone is quite complete now. But the responsive UI support of TailwindCSS is quite limited, so I can’t implement the UI for tablet yet. Also, if you have a bad experience with the UI, the elements are randomly placed, try to decrease the scale of your browser, it may fix the problem
I just made some changes to adapt the normal scale on Windows browser :D
Ships:
I made a simple site to introduce myself :D It has: the home, project and links section, as simple as that
I made a personal website :D so…. what changes Previously, I have made it with vanilla HTML and CSS to submit to Personal site quest. Now I have switched to Astro and TailwindCSS. I choose Astro because I just need SSG, no client-side code needed. Also, I added the education page where I yap about my schools. Not sure how, but reseating the button wires were enough to fix the intermittent button issue. With this, I can finally declare that the hardware and code part of this project is over. From tomorrow, I’m planning to do the video editing of the demo video and probably also the social media video. I am very happy and satisfied with the performance of the power station. Everything works like intended. Future plans? I’m gonna make another power station with LiFePO4 cells at 768 Wh and a 2000 Watt inverter. I’m not going to use arduino based UI, but rather straight up, manual switches and relay in order to further minimize the footprint. Here’s what I did for today: Successfully reseated the fuse. Put the inverter board back into its enclosure Took it out since I forgot to mount the TO220 package components on their metal heatsink. Put it back into its enclosure. Noticed that the screw was touching the heatsink, which might cause issues. Pulled it out again, bent the sheet a little and bent it too much, making virtually no contact with a MOSFET. Took it all out, bent the sheet back, spent another 10 minutes looking for the orientation, and finally secured it very firmly. Had to be gentle during the assembly and yet I broke a screw peg and did a temporary, caveman plastic welding. Like always, I was ranting about the repairability of this portable power station in my mind. Now I’m seeing another issue (not another -_-): The down arrow button doesn’t work. It worked intermittently for a bit while assembling but now it is completely dysfunctional. Need to diagnose this tomorrow"}, {"post_id": 82374, "ts": "2026-10-24T17:25:17Z", "hours": 0.3667, "text": "Tried soldering a new fuse, its still incomplete. Gotta try with my hoof tip tomorrow. Getting this fuse in pure traffic and 100 other people in the same automotive shop was a bit challenging for me :U. Since heating power is I²R, the heat scales quadratically up with the flowing current. Hence if our inverter draws, say 30 A, and there is about 0.05 ohms of resistance on the exposed terminals, 45 W of pure heat is produced. Need to push the fuse further in and flush with the board and minimize the resistance with my hoof soldering iron tip tomorrow. My screw driver tip loses heat quickly :("}, {"post_id": 81818, "ts": "2026-10-22T16:59:23Z", "hours": 0.6336, "text": "Finally replaced the MDP1933 MOSFETs with beefier IRFB4110 MOSFETs, but boy was it expensive! Whenever we replace blown MOSFETs, its a good practice to replace the entire array even if one MOSFET is blown and the others work perfectly fine since you never know if the voltage spike or whatever calamity had partially destroyed it (it would fail to close properly, dropping a lot of voltage) Atleast the inverter’s been fixed now (or is it..?) and outputs a clean 230 V RMS. Tested with a 20 W lamp and it works well. Need to replace the 35 A automotive fuse on it as well since it was also blown due to the direct short that occurred, I’m using a piece of solder wire as a temporary substitute (not recommended btw) Need to test with bigger loads to ensure that its back at business and nothing else was damaged due to the overload. Had to change the values quite a bit but nothing helped. In the end I noticed that the initial_in_voltage variable was set to the absolute minimum trigger point whenever the charger was connected, therefore the condition where the (initial_in_voltage - in_voltage variable <= 0.2) inequation is always held true and therefore the Arduino ramped up the PWM no matter what, it took a ton of time to figure out -_- In addition to this, I had also spent a around 2h in testing the power station regarding its thermals and max. power capability.."}, {"post_id": 70210, "ts": "2026-09-18T18:28:05Z", "hours": 3.8333, "text": "Successfully completed the soft started board in order to prevent the inrush current drawn by the XL4016 module from tripping certain chargers. Title: Sub 100 Wh portable power station by @win7 Title: Sub 100 Wh portable power station by @win7 | Stardance
Devlogs:
Bare-bone version of the code is ready, works without any major bugs.. Next step: Continue coding of the remaining features and functions (Tested and verified on my trusty breadboard setup)
Completed the temperature reading, temperature warning, as well as temperature controlled fan pwm signal. Bugs: Temperature and PWM value fluctuate greatly when connecting an LED as a test for PWM regulation
Added some adjustments, possibly also a framework of multiple screens.
Re-positioned the screen page indicator, fixed a bug that that was present since the start (fun fact: I thought that it was not possible to fix that till yesterday till I remembered “break” statement exists thanks to a dream I had last night using break statement to fix the same)
Started with the framework of the icons for turning the outputs on or off.
Replaced the 20 A BMS with a 40 A one, in order to achieve the full 27 A capability
Added 2 pages: Controls and Info, settings page is still pending..
Did a lot of tidying and reposition work as well as addition of various controls toggles on and offs.
Completed drawing the sketch of the portable power station (sorry for the messy work, its the first sketch). Please let me know of any suggestions/improvements..
Worked on the settings screen for a while. Added maximum power limit as well as basic RGB LED colour setting along with EEPROM memory to store the parameters
Burnt some midnight oil to disassemble the breadboard prototype and start with the actual circuitry, soldered a few components so far, yet there’s a lot more to do so, probably gonna take a month to complete -_-.
Did more soldering work, not the prettiest, has a ton of improvements to be made both on the hardware as well as the software side. So far, the charger and the inverter switching part works, need to add a transistor in between the system and the battery in order to turn it off completely when not in use.. Open to suggestions and improvements..
Finally completed the soft-latching power control part in the circuit. 2 Arduino nano(s) were k1lled during the process :*(. Used an N channel MOSFET at first in order to control power going to the Arduino, failed at it, switched to a relay (big mistake), driven by a transistor, finally got out, bought a P channel MOSFET, still driven by an NPN transistor, and in the end, it works flawlessly, gave me immense happiness watching it work flawlessly :D
Completed the chargers part (mainly fixed the power measurement bugs). In addition to that, did the temperature controlled fan part for today, so far works perfectly.
After 800 lines of code, I finally hit the 2kB RAM ceiling. Did some optimization work on the code. Had to take a backup of the flawless code, try new stuff, in split screen mode between 2 IDE screens
A lot of changes and events. Spent almost an hour modifying/testing the charging lightning icon on top of the battery. Fixed the mAh counter Fixed the time to empty counter Edited the power value such that only positive values are shown Killed the boost converter and charger modules, still unsure what caused it but I suspect the boost converter overheating and then finally, a voltage spike killed the charger modules too. Any ideas/opinions are very helpful..
A week’s worth of devlog, probably I’m gonna switch over to weekly devlogs cuz I’m a bit lazy. Anyways, once again, a ton of changes: First and foremost, replaced the charger modules and the boost converter (Boy was it expensive for me). Added ADS1115 ADC as I needed an extra analog pin for measuring input charging voltage, switched voltage, current and temperature measurement to there as well. Planning on adding 2 more temperature sensors, 1 for the battery and 1 for the charger modules. Working on charging part for now, gonna use MPPT. A mystery addition that I bet nobody can guess (its in the image btw), open to your guesses btw.
Took quite a while to try various methods, debug, fix, etc. the MPPT charging. Finally, a transistor pulling the floating 100mV to ground along with an RC filter seems to work, works for now, though not the best way of doing this. (Literally screamed in joy when it finally worked lol :D)
I have planned to integrate haptics to the power station too, though traditional ERMs felt too cheap and unreliable, therefore I made something called the “Haptic block”, an LRA (Linear Resonance Actuator)-based haptic actuator, similar to the ones found in flagship smartphones (I’m looking at you, iPhone 6S!). Used a 12V, 6N solenoid along with a MOSFET, resistor and a flyback diode for switching the solenoid with the Arduino board. It works great, started with the coding process, the timings have to be perfect, else, it feels like metal and plastic colliding (though that’s exactly what’s happening XD). With perfect timing though, it enhances the user experience by a lot!
Messed up and messed around using millis(), need more time to debug and fix it (I’m not an expert when it comes to dealing with millis(), open to suggestions), I don’t want to use delay() since it interferes with my mAh measurement in the code. Did a weird contraption of a capacitor, polarity protector diode on a perf board in order to act as a power distribution board since the boost converter had only 1 screw terminal..
Worked on the haptics for quite a while, still need to add haptic feedback/notification for other messages displayed on the screen, though it is SOO BUGGY! I had to work on it for 3 full days, yet I still feel like the haptic patterns were inconsistent, gotta do more fixing tomorrow, or probably I might focus into something else for a while.
Finally completed the haptics part, there are still some areas that do not work like intended, but I cannot really do much about it. Designed as well as printed cases for the main board and batteries for enhanced safety. My streak has not extended for today despite 3h of work today.,
Completed the addition fan and LED interface to the mainboard. I had to add a separate boost converter to the setup. Still the addition of fan causes fluctuation in time to empty readings, need to fix them in code,,
Completed the case for the inverter part, switched to digital operation of the fan instead of analog due to never ending problems.
Did quite a bit of various work today, but the one that made me glad is the successfull printing of the bench power supply part after 5 devastating failed attempts. Designed the case in Fusion 360 Worked on the header connections Worked on the bench power supply part
Officially over the 100h mark! 🎉 Designed the front plate of the chargers, designed a stencil to drill through the copper sheet that acts as a small ‘heatsoak’, soldered some cables and much more
TERRIBLE NEWS: I lost 3D models of the main front panel, the inverter case AND the chargers panel to a power outage. I know I should’ve saved it but I either complete it and save it or just have them lying in my RAM overnight till it finishes and that power outages are rare for me, but here I am! Completed the bench power supply part, printed the front side in orange and screwed it on the gray bench power supply mount since I’m planning to use orange on gray as opposed to gray on orange. Also added an extra master XT60 connector for direct battery access connections.
Completed the modelling part of the inverter case, charger panel and probably also the front panel. Did some minor bug tweaks in the code Also finished cutting the copper sheet for the inverter module
Printed and assembled the chargers part And also, I’m in the middle of designing the right side panel, gonna take up a ton of time as I’m using hit and trial method
Printed out the front panel, got a ton of work to do on the other panels. Thinking of whether or not to add a fuse in series to the direct source connector.. I feel like fitting all of these components into their designated space might be a very tedious task. Its just a pain to measure and ensure everything is in its own designated region and every part seats in properly, and also, found a mini bug, which is to be fixed in the code,,
Probably a really messy workbench right now. Anyways, once again, did quite a bit of working, especially in CAD and 3D printing. Finally, I’ve hit 100% of the program storage space in my Arduino Nano when uploading my code. Need to optimize the code. Had to snap off the screw mounts and the bottom section of the button mount cover for it to fit, fixed it in the later version though. Also, spent 5 full minutes troubleshooting, opening the mainboard out of its case only to find out that nothing was connected (power button, navigation buttons, etc.). Probably, late night fatigue kicking in,,
Working on the mainboard mount. The mainboard is planned to be mounted on top of the battery pack. Not sure how I’m gonna figure out how to make mounting holes on the bottom panel. Its 12:20 AM rn, need to go to bed,,,
Birthday devlog today🎉! Did a ton more of CAD work, including modification of slots and sketches, and boy was it painful!. I had to re-draw each sketch on top and repeat this once again since I need one for negative extrusion and one for filling the already existing slots. All caused by my poor judgement of the dimensions of the other parts But here I am! Also, had tweaked the code a little, did some power wire replacements and stuff
Looked through the designs and measurements, edited them when necessary, tested the charging circuit, not sure why but it trips my MacBook’s PD 30 W charger but not my Samsung PD power bank, probably due to inrush currents. After a long conflict, finally printed the right side panel, need to proceed with the left, top, bottom and back panel as well. I don’t know, I’m scared to waste ~100g of filament and ~10h of time over a failed print just because of a dimensional mistake or inaccuracy, I’m just looking through the final model in Fusion 360 countless times,!
Printed the left side panel, tried to print the bottom panel but failed, also the BOM list final is ready!! Well, seems like the assembly process is going to be hard due to a ton of wires and obstacles :( Had to trim the direct source connector panel twice for it to fit in the right side panel Boost converter module is held under really high amount of tension probably due to 10mm bolt and nuts. Made orientation and placement mistakes while installing the chargers panel -_-
In the process of making the soft starter circuit for the XL4016 module, since the inrush current trips some chargers, I’m set on using a 555 timer chip in order to turn on a relay 2s after powering on the relay. Anyways, tested the bare-bones version of the power station at around 100 W and/or 10A of current and it worked beautifully, though I was scared to my core when doing so, not wanting this setup to blow up like last time which killed the boost converter and both the charger modules.
Successfully completed the soft started board in order to prevent the inrush current drawn by the XL4016 module from tripping certain chargers. It felt endless, I had to use 2 NPN transistors in an inverter configuration in order to not use a PNP transistor since I did not have one lol. Also 3D printed and replaced the old battery case for a newer one which has ventilation holes, helping in keeping the battery temperatures low..
Welp, killed another boost converter. This one failed by having its output voltage always equal to the input voltage no matter what, unlike previously where the boost converter failed as a direct short. Other than this, I spent a lot of time troubleshooting the charging MPPT function, which seemed to not have proper limit and tripped whatever charger I had connected it to. Had to change the values quite a bit but nothing helped. In the end I noticed that the initial_in_voltage variable was set to the absolute minimum trigger point whenever the charger was connected, therefore the condition where the (initial_in_voltage - in_voltage variable <= 0.2) inequation is always held true and therefore the Arduino ramped up the PWM no matter what, it took a ton of time to figure out -_- In addition to this, I had also spent a around 2h in testing the power station regarding its thermals and max. power capability..
Had to harvest a boost converter from my old bench power supply, fix it (it was dead shorted due to an internally shorted capacitor) Planning on adding a pre-boost converter for the inverter and the charger functions. They refuse to work below 10.2 V, disregarding 20~30% of battery capacity. Recorded the voltage, current, milliamp hours, power drawn along with time stamps. Gosh, my hands are numb now -_-.
Had to tear the unit down, do plastic welding since the screw mounting slots broke. Probably I would rate this as a 0/10 in the reparability scale by myself -_-. Also, bypassed the 10 V regulator on the charger boost converter module and now it can work from 9V. Planned to add another separate boost converter for the inverter to prevent inverter’s low voltage protection from kicking in. Bypassed the regulator here as well. I feel kinda lazy and tired, probably will log more time from tomorrow,,
After a full 2-week fever, I’m back into business :D. Things aren’t great to start off. To sum it up, the inverter died after I connected a chineese steamer apparently rated for “120 W”, when in reality, it drew around 500 W from my wall. My inverter tried to maintain its voltage and ended up killing its MOSFETS. I really hope the MOSFETS are the only ones damaged.
Switching to daily devlogs from now on.. Worked on the broken inverter. Tried replacing the MOSFETS with a different ones. The original ones were MDP1933, with a drain to source resistance of less than 5 milliohms, while the ones I replaced with were IRFZ44N and featured a drain to source resistance of 15 milliohms. I need to find a stronger MOSFET than the original MDP1933 used in the build and also upgrade my table’s sticker to gray :D
Finally replaced the MDP1933 MOSFETs with beefier IRFB4110 MOSFETs, but boy was it expensive! Also worked on the Instructable for the past two days while waiting to get the MOSFETs.
Tried soldering a new fuse, its still incomplete. My screw driver tip loses heat quickly :(
After a long time, I had managed to do an almost 2 full hour long session today. Need to diagnose this tomorrow
Finally completed the assembly. It is kind of sad to see the end of this project that I felt never-ending and impossible on day 1 :). Thanks for reading till the end and also following my progress :D.
Started off with the video editing process. Hopefully I complete it on time. Wish me luck ^.^
Had shot videos on my desk for 4 hours today (not lapsed btw), started off with the intro-hook of the video. Need to focus more and make it better tomorrow
Completed most of the editing, planning to finish everything by tomorrow… Soooo sleepy rn………
Finally completed the demo video as well. This is the last devlog EVER for this project. It has been a great experience for me. Everything from the late night strides to the unexpected mistakes to the excitement of thinking about reaching this day.. HOLY, I’m gonna miss Stardance soo much..

Hi there, I have successfully completed building one of my most tiring mega-projects I had ever thought of. To be honest, I had thought that this would be impossible at a point of time. I am very glad that I was able to implement my ideas despite facing many challenges. As an initiative to not use AI, I had to do quite a bit of research work behind the scenes in order to diagnose what went wrong and how to fix it. Moreover, I feel pleasantly satisfied, excited and proud everytime I look at this project. Overall, I am super happy in the end that I was able to complete it within the deadline despite being affected by a 20-day long fever. :D Thank you for following this project, reading through my devlogs and watching the power station get assembled in real time....

I made the background picture be the astronomy picture of the day and also added a clock and added options to choose between what search engine you want and also the functionality of searching
Added the date to the top left corner as well as a I’m feeling lucky button inspired from Google. I also added widgets that show the calendar, weather, and a todolist.
I added the icons to the search engine selection as well as the ability to add your own search engine as well. I also added quick links and the ability to edit, delete, and move them around. At the bottom, there is now also a title and description for the backgrond image which you can select which day as well. I added more widgets such as space news, recent searches, and ISS tracker where you can customize the location of these widgets
I made the spacing between elements match up and just made overall polishing changes such as moving the date to the center, a settings screen to customize dark/light mode and accent color.
I fixed some bugs with dragging the widgets and the calendar app not being able to change the month
Ships:

YAY, made authorization completely from scratch using fast api. This project is not just the sake of the final product. I want to actually learn and love the process. So, it is also a challenge for me. Actually, I started learning FastApi and python backend a little earlier, so I know the basics. Previously, though, I only repeated from tutorials, and I couldn’t make it from scratch. Yet, I was able to do it now, so I enjoy this small accomplishment. In future, though, there are huge challenges on my way.
STAGE 1: IT IS WORKING!! Following the three stage plan I made, and now I am happy to share that first stage is completed. Right now, the backend includes basic authentication + encryption + JWT token it can download youtube video by the url. that is basically it? I know there are many downloader apps for youtube. (with the exception of MCL, which is a thing of its own and is definitely coming later!). Most of this devlog was bug testing by applying our pre-compiled binary into a new PROS project, 2026-2027OVERRIDE, where I could upload to the robot and see what’s not working and why. I also cleaned up the include header order and hierarchy. Boomerang: Fixed the carrot point shifting out too far and causing overshoot and reversing. The carrot point now updates as the robot moves, and the drive PID is clamped between maxSpeed and 0.0 when the carrot is behind us, so we turn instead of reverse. I also slew the driveOutput before computing left and right voltages so the turn ratio is preserved. Boomerang now has its own drive and turn settle values instead of driveStraight’s, since it’s a curve in x, y, and heading. It also uses the Turn PID instead of Angular Correction so following the carrot point gets priority. Added async and motion queuing protection, stuck detection, and static friction pushes for when the drive gains are too small. For motion chaining, we draw a line through the end point at the end heading and compare how far along it we are with earlyExitRange. Fixed the wide curves and sideways drift. Tank drives (especially with omnis) can’t correct for drift sideways, so boomerang now calculates curvature like pure pursuit and slows down on sharp curves. How much is tuned with params.curveK, which represents the robot’s sideways grip, so you can use bigger leads without skidding. Fixed the robot lurching forward at full speed inside closeDist, where the speed limiters turn off. maxV is now clamped to either the original speed or about half of max speed, whichever is less. Boomerang is now fully working! Pure Pursuit (now curve()): The LOST/STUCK bug came from very tight curves where the voltage wasn’t enough to overcome friction, so the robot thought it wasn’t moving. The fix is a kS deadband (around 1000 mV) like the rest of the drive functions. The attached picture shows how well it follows points on completely untested default values, along with screenshots of all the tunable parameters. driveTo functions (still deprecated, coming soon!): Added a built-in chain (turn, drive, and another turn for driveToPose) with its parameters as drivetrain members, so there are no hard-coded magic numbers. The cancelled or invalid motion check is cleaner too. swingToHeading(): Giving the non-pivoting side 0 voltage still counts as a movement command, so it wasn’t holding position. Now that side is set to brake during the motion and restored to its original brake mode after. Robot & testing: Added drive code and pneumatics to our robot for the upcoming competition. I also tested our custom objects and PROS object layering, which worked as expected. I commented out our future MCL instance because of compiler warnings. The boomerang test data on our data visualizer matched real life, and it settled within 1 inch with barely any tuning. Next steps: splitting the code into .cpp files to finish the OOP refactor, then MCL and the autonomous/MCL simulator!"}, {"post_id": 80016, "ts": "2026-10-15T23:59:37Z", "hours": 5.1622, "text": "Finish Pure Pursuit, Motion Chaining. Starting work on Boomerang Function: I worked more on Pure Pursuit(robot driving according to a path you’ve drawn through a imaginary circle it draws around its self and targeting where the circle intersects the path). I started by making my curve() function also return MotionResult so it is consistent with everything else in the library unlike before where it had it’s own return type FollowResult. I’ve also updated my helper function that can convert the enumberation from MotionResult into a string so the user can return the value and see what the potential error is from the logics. I’ve also continued with the math for Pure Pursuit starting with injecting extra points into the array of points that the user provides for the path that the robot has to follow to ensure a more even data type and there aren’t senarios where the gaps are so large the circle would not find any paths to target and declare the robot as MotionResult::LOST. To do this, I take apart the original array of points that the user provides and for any two points or segment; I divide it by the minimum gap we would accept(3 inches) to get how many new segments we would have to split it into in order that every segment is shorter than 3 inches. Then we simply linearly interpolate the points based on how many segments we have(ex. a, a + (distance/spacing) 1, a + (distance/spacing) 2…) Ect where we just multiply the gap by the number of spaces that we want. Lastly, I worked out a bug based on DAWGMA’s Pure Pursuit paper that sometimes the path which the robot has to take might be behind the robot(ie the robot is facing away from where the circle intercepts our path). Thus the PP is finished fixing all known bugs(untested yet) by finally organizing all of the helper function into a master function in the PurePursuit class called step(). Then the drivetrain layer(Drivetrain class) that actually owns all of the hardware calls the function, sorts the return logic for when we are done, the path is invalid, or we are chaining the motion to move forward. Though right now it is untested, I fixed the logic that would getActualSpeed() for the both sides of the drive by updating the encoders divided by the amount of time it has been and modifying the units based on the ratio to get an accurate RPM. We update the measured velocity each loop by blending the value we measure from the previus loop via an alpha variable(to smooth the reading to be free of noise). The user can also tune this at their will but the current default value is 40%(a.k.a. 0.4). Lastly, I decided to make our own boomerang function(an advanced motion type in VEX) where to robot will always follow a virtual carrot point and as the robot progresses, the carrot point will blend back into the desired along the path while giving the robot a swing to reach the desired end heading as well. (A type of move to pose – where pose is position for x, y, and heading). Complete Refractor – Making everything exist in Objects to create a template Library in VEX. Made implementation of functions better from last year and fixed existing bugs. Implemented proper asymetrical slewing to wheels and worked on a better Pure Pursuit. Added a custom YogurtLib UI with LVGL and a sensor fusion that can support Up to 3 and more IMUs.
Finish Pure Pursuit, Motion Chaining. I started doing some research and testing out the code in our library and Arduino IDE to see what it would compute and these are some of the resources I used: https://lemlib.readthedocs.io/en/v0.5.0/tutorials/6lateralmotion.html https://www.desmos.com/calculator/sptjw5szex The main one(as well as with some explanation from our coach): https://area-53-robotics.github.io/Intro-To-Robotics/software/advanced-concepts/boomerang/
I finished all of the theoretical work in our library! Next steps: splitting the code into .cpp files to finish the OOP refactor, then MCL and the autonomous/MCL simulator!
Ships:
I made my own VEX Library! This was largely inspired by Lemlib and it includes advanced functinonality such as async motion, motion chaining, and motion queuing. This library includes it’s custom UI which allows you to see the sensor datas and select autonomouses during a competition. Functionalities still in development: Pure Pursuit for fast and precise curves, MCL(a particle filter that will relocalize the robot’s position based on probablity! and four beams of light from lasers(originally should be done with lidars), IMU Fusion(done, but not yet implemented into the core code), and much more!...

Devlogs:
I started creating the welcome screen for my operating system. I decided to make it Fortnite themed because It’s my favorite video game. What I did: Added Fortnite picture from chapter 2 Styled body text Changed the background color
After 2 hours of experimenting with styles and JavaScript, here’s what I got done this time: Added a top bar that has the OS name, date, and time Added welcome window Added new styling file to hold the styles for each class Made windows draggable and closable
What I did this time around: Created First app: Strategy Notes Made new functions for making windows easier Top Bar always on top The window that you last interacted with will be on top of the other windows
Final touches: Made a paint app where you paint on the current season’s map Made Making new apps even easier by making it into 1 function Arranged the apps into rows
I missed a couple devlogs so I’ll just put everything from the last few sessions here because Its ready to ship. What I worked on Killing Bugs Recent apps system in the Home window. Prevented duplicate apps in the recent apps list. Removed Top Bar and replaced it with a taskbar on the bottom Bottom Bar shows currently opened apps App that directly connects to Fortnite tracker Search engine app Button to full screen apps that are able to

As many of the people in review has told about my flaws and what i can improve, i want to thank them for this honest review. I added the interactive buttons with emoji and also added indivisual pages for every action. some of you also compared my project to ILovePdf for them i want to say that in my project everything stays in your device everything is processed in your browser unlike this companies which upload your pdf to server. it gives some advantages to my project ie. safe, private, secure, fast.
in edit pdf i have added different fonts and, size and colour..!!! also added whiteout which you can whiteout anything you don’t want and also added the image adding but there is some changes to make like image crop option and size option rest everything good…!!! but still sign option is not working so i am trying to add it. tbh really frustrated with the edit pdf option rest everything didn’t took so much time. but this is causing so much error and i have to add a remove many things thanks to my computer teacher who helped a lot to edit and improve the design like the whitout had a border which i removed and also the delete option disappeared real quick so i had to fix it…!! hope you like it many more changes and features to add i am thinking to add a canva type thing locally so stay tuned…!!!!
the most usable thing and the most difficult and challenging thing is to add the all direction resize pull tabs (before it can be done only using the bottom right tab) many things i had to delete and more than 100+ insertation to add and also thanks to AI for sorting out the confusing thing and helping me add the all direction resize tab without confusing the script.js which direction the user is pulling…!!!
added a opendesign like canva still i dont wanna higlight it as its under construction and many more things to add and still processing…!!! still if you have any openion you can give so i can make it better..!! (PLS NOTE this feature not working as intended as its under progress)
added different colour themes and also added a universal convert which is currently in progress…!!! stay tuned..!!
Add the universal convert it will auto detect the file uploaded and ask the format accordingly which we want to convert…!!! Still its Pending because the download function is not working so i have to fix it… STAY TUNED…!!!
added remove background and clean audio (noise remover) but its not working i am trying to fix it but i am not getting much time as i am working somewhere else so pls don’t mind the delay..!!
The open design and remove bg has some bugs so its currently not working i am trying to fix it…… and added a new feature rotate pdf and also universal convert only works with images/pdfs files not videos i will implement the video feature soon so stay tuned…!!!!
fixed all the errors and things which i could still many thing to go Remember that this is a all offine local tool some of the function is not working as intended (as some of the processing require large servers) { using server would ruin the project as it is made by keeping privacy in mind} still tried to fix…!!

🚢 Shipped: PDFTools & OpenDesign (100% Client-Side Privacy Suite) — I just launched PDFTools, a completely offline, browser-based utility suite featuring the OpenDesign Studio for visual canvas editing and document signing, along with local PDF merging, splitting, OCR text extraction, structure compression, and client-side format conversion. The core philosophy here is zero-knowledge privacy: not a single byte ever leaves your machine, ensuring sensitive documents are never uploaded to remote third-party servers. While certain experimental features like large media transcoding and heavy AI background removal push browser memory limits and may not function as seamlessly as they would on dedicated cloud farms, relying strictly on client-side WebAssembly was an intentional, non-negotiable architectural decision to protect your data sovereignty and guarantee absolute privacy.
PDFTools is a client-side web application designed to run entirely in the browser without server-side processing for its core file utilities. It provides an all-in-one suite of tools including PDF merging, single-page splitting, PDF-to-JPG conversion, password removal, document protection/encryption, page rotation, and stream-based document compression using pdf-lib and pdf.js. Additionally, it features OCR text extraction powered by tesseract.js, universal media and format conversions using WebAssembly-based FFmpeg, in-browser AI-driven background removal via Transformers.js ( @bg0 /browser), and client-side audio noise cleaning using the Web Audio API. The interface includes customizable themes, drag-and-drop file upload zones, audio click feedback, and an embedded iframe hosting the OpenDesign/Tela canvas editor for rich, interactive layout and document design....

It is unit converter but with a twist and a game in it, it has 2 modes, one is of course we all know, the normal mode, while the other mode is called the “FRENZY MODE” which would give the user false results for 40% of the time, and if the user wants to? they can play the game to see if they can catch if the unit conversion is accurate or not and it has its own ways to nudge the inaccurate units to make them believable such as switching its base, and even nudging it off by a few percentages too!!...
