While built with a modular architecture capable of scaling to multiple languages, it currently only has support for Malayalam, Tamil, Odia and Kannada (not fully ironed out), but has a lot of scripts added with bugs being fixed according to speaker. Current Malayalam setup is made taking huge liberties like introducing various character combinations not in the current standard (ie, chillu letters). Features Scans input strings character-by-character, intelligently grouping multi-character consonant and vowel clusters (up to 3-character keys) Dictionary based mapping system covering all letters and symbols in Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada, Telugu, Devenagari, Odia, Bengali-Asamiya, Gurumukhi, Gujarati, Kaithi (dead script btw), Sinhala, Tibetan, Saurashtra. I know Malayalam (native), Devaagari, English (learnt in school), Tamil and Kannada because I like to learn stuff when i go on tours (im a nerd lol), and i learnt many scripts along this project. I didnt have to “conform” most of the stuf, because most Indic languages are pretty similar, and also because UNICODE and other organisations have already done the work on mappings, so i just had to implement that only. Occcasionally, I did ask forum posts on these langauge speakers, to fix any bugs and add features. Is it a translator? No , it is not a translator. It is a trans literator , it does not convert meanings, it converts sounds. Do not expect everything you type in to be a meaningful output. Often times, it is butchered, because the standard is pretty dumb, and no one ever uses it. Why does it convert everything Vide previous Question. So, most of everything gets transliterated, except when the sound DOESNT exist in the script, when it just ommits it entirely. Since sounds are converted, almost everything is processed. What is this even used for. Interational transliteration based on an International standard. Albeit it is quite stupid, and as a mallu, i feel it is very undeveloped. Only reason i devoloped this is because nobody made anything, and it was a fun project. Why not add more scripts / langauges Well, this project is based on the standard ISO 15919, which is limited to around 10 scripts, and i might have added more, because i trusted the wikipedia table too much. Not only do i not have any time, i also dont need to do something that isnt actually useful. Why does this tool add a virama at the end? Im sorry yall had to add the “a” at the end manually, but this is a slight limitation. Adding inherent virama might break someother langauges, and also other vowel signs. But i will try to see what I can do. What is the arrow thingy in the corner Manual refersh button so that you can manually click it to force a rerender. This is now pretty obsolete, but has existed, so idc."}, {"post_id": 81050, "ts": "2026-10-19T17:39:25Z", "hours": 1.1714, "text": "Rewrote the README so that its actually usable for anybody implementing it. Start of the code, setting up dicts
Rewrite most of the stuff, it was stupid.
made the tokens to malayalam converter. Also, side note, i dont think i have the time to make this multilangauge, but i will try.
Fixed major errors, Made a no-css example page for js implementation, and added almost all characters. Still need to fix conjucted characters (കൂട്ടക്ഷരങ്ങൾ, [kuu.t.tak.sara;n;na.l]).
Added proper chillu support, and fixed example html bugs.
update readme to add instructions.
cooked up a good enough css for the site.
Rewrote CSS and added fonts, icons to make site look better.
added a ton of shi
attempt at learning kannada logic
finalised everything for the shipping
I haven’t used Ai for the Css or the Html. I have only used AI for js, especially only in the Dicts. The reason i got Kannada and Tamil done so quickly is because Tamil is just Malayalam but debloated (no chillu, so many less letters) and Kannada is just Malalayalam but only a slight bit of debloating (no chillu). The reason that the github html doesnt match the css in repo, is because the Html in the repo is made deliberately empty due it only being an EXAMPLE!! It is not a finalised product. Also, the CSS is only in the repo because good practice. And, you can check the whole repo for the HISTORY of the CSS file. I did use the w3schools demos a lot to understand exactly how I can use flexboxes, and prevent broken errors. If you wanted to, you could download the HTML file I used in the Hosting, and that matches the CSS, because I made it literally in my home directory.
Added an experimental QoL feature, that adds an Anuswara and replaces the regular ‘m’ char when a word is ended with a space, punctuation or a newline (/n)
Due to popular demand during last ship, i decided that I would split the whole js file into the main logic file 15919.js and the dictonaries file dicts.js
So, I think I want to publish this npm or other JS pkgman’s, so that others can use it Easier. So I decided to make the whole project less dependant on the HTML and also took the repeated if’s out. Now it should be much better accessable in a console.
Added Devanagari support to the thing. Also, I had forgotten to add the MD for Telugu, so that is here as well, along with Devanagari MD. I also made imports by pkgmans easier.. Side note: I wish I could add the time required to add these induvidual files to main, but ill prolly get a reply of just use CLI git. And most of this stuff is just maintainer chores. Like I have to add and update the hosted ‘try it out’ page, otherwise it would’nt be good
So, I did Yet Another Refactor, now net -201 (+46, -251) lines in the 15919.js file after adding Odia. Odia is not a language I know too well, so I put up a post on an Odia subreddit to get info. So, will update as soon as get info. also updated the MD’s. From Now on, all the remaining lanaguges i do not have much knowledge in, and thus will take longer for an actual version, cuz i will have to do polls.
Added Bangla-Asamiya script. The main challenge was that the 15919 standard was actually wrong on some parts. So I had to use CharMap on a native font, and I also had to cross reference the unicode block. But I did get it done. TIL: the anuswara maps to Ng in this script and not the sanksrit “-m” or “-n”, so there was that confusion.
Split Asamiya and Bangla into two seperate scripts, because I dont wanna cause another riot that Unicode had to face. (ie, Letter “ra” is different in the two langauges, but share the same script (the asamiya Ra was added to Unicode as an extension, which the natives didnt like. In my token based system, one would’ve been forced to be the main, so i split them up.)
So, I finally got to fixing a ton of bugs and also added Kaithi (almost dead script) and Saurashatra (not commonly used), and also a QOL onto the example html where you can now refresh without causing text to be entered. Very Much advise to check up, because last version, I had Malayalam’s virama swapped with the anuswara. Should be fixed now. Also updated the Odia’s autoAnu to be true, based on the research i did from natives.
Today was quite unenventful and i was busy with school works, So, i just added Gujarati and Gurumukhi. The Next few are actually a bit tricky being Sinhala, Thai and Tibetan. Thai is very very complicated for me to get my head around (trust me, i tried), Sinhala just has too many letters (and therefore tokens, whcih i will add). Tibetan is also on the same level as thai, due to the phonetic change or sum shi that happened long ago, causing a difference in the written vs the spoken langauge.
Added tibetan and sinhala and fixed many syntax errors i made while eepy. I also took the Descision to not do Thai and Nashtaliq for reasons of * thai has funny vowels not compatible perfectly with the current parser and would require a rewrite, *Nashtaliq already has many implementations and standards >I was busy with School so slight delay.
Rewrote the README so that its actually usable for anybody implementing it. And I think all the features are done on this project, the only thing remaining is to iron out bugs, if any, and to maintain this repo based on issues from speakers

This is now pretty obsolete, but has existed, so idc.
Just added more of the lanaguage typing instructions MDs, linked them up to the main MD. Also, I found many bugs in the mappings, which i fixed. (Gujarati had chandrabindu mapped as t N and not t M, Bengali-Asamiya had more bugs like the uhh Letter II was used inplace of symbol II accidentally, and some devanagari mappings were not removed.).
Published to NPM!!!!! The reason I wasnt able to publish earlier is because firefox kept throwing errors, and the fact that fido:// key thingies didnt work. Today i had the exttremely smart idea to try and use Chrome, and then was forced to use the Passwd mgr, but i finally published it!
For the final few devlogs, i have decided to add another giant feature, the latinifier, which takes text in normal scripts and converts it into our format. its already too late at night bruh
Ships:
15919ify+ An open-source web utility designed to take in text in 7 Bit ISO 15919 format and transcode it into various Indic Scripts. While built with a modular architecture capable of scaling to multiple languages, it currently only has support for Malayalam, Tamil and Kannada (not fully ironed out). Current Malayalam setup is made taking huge liberties like introducing various character combinations not in the current standard (ie, chillu letters). Features Scans input strings character-by-character, intelligently grouping multi-character consonant and vowel clusters (up to 3-character keys) Dictionary based mapping system covering all letters and symbols in Malayalam, Tamil & Kannada The challenges The ISO 15919 standard was kinda dumb to start on, because it did not have a native way to express the “Chillu” letters found only in Malayalam, and thus, I had to add to the standard in order to even make Malayalam usable. I’m in India, so school already started in June, and so I had to do it all within the very little time I have (Boards..) Prerequisites before trying it out I suggest checking out the Github repo for typing instructions, beacause most of this is a weird concept so it might be better if you have an idea of how to even do anything. Also, I don’t think most of y’all know these Indic Scripts, so this is defenitely niche, but pretty helpful, becuase all generic tools I tried for the task were pretty bad with Malayalam’s specificity, and also the fact that there is NO tool currently that takes in any form of 15919 and gives a transliteration for Any non-Devanagiri language;

I thought of a game I wanted to develop for a long time and have started the process of making it into real life! For now I started working on the structure of the game, mainly on the initial set-up of the game and the turn logic. It’s still largely in-progress and later I will find out how to make the bot use mini-max to stay competent against the human player. Attached is a simple diagram explaining the game.
Today I worked on the code a lot more than before. This session, I focused on getting the bot to think (it used Math.random() as a temporary measure) using a before/after rating system. This means the bot would assess how much of a difference would a move at a certain column have on the game’s result. I also added a brief introduction at the start and completed in creating the game ending result announcement. I made the number of columns in the game customisable so the user can come up with their own custom rules (I haven’t tested it with different values yet, because I was busy completing the game logic). One challenge I have right now is that the bot constantly plays one specific move. I would need to improve its thinking process, because admittedly it is currently quite simple. Next session, I will take a look at whether the custom columns logic works without error as well as improving the bot’s thinking process!
Today, I continued to develop Intellisense (the bot)’s logic, and polish the game a bit more. Intellisense asks herself, “What if I placed my card here?” and then assigns a score based on how a card placed in that column affects the result. She will then deploy the card on the column that has the highest score value. I also polished the game experience by making the explanation of the game better when it first loads, as well as detailed explanations as to which side (player or Intellisense) won. Personally, I find that Intellisense plays too well. She beat me in all three play-test sessions! However, I still have another problem that I need to solve: error handling. When the user enters something other than an integer, the game would crash. At the moment, I cannot precisely recall how to handle these kinds of errors, so I would need to do some research and ask my friends.
I implemented a difficulty setting, and adjusted what each difficulty setting does to make sure it’s still a challenge. I also added an error handling logic in case the user entered something other than a integer value when it comes to capturing the player’s reply to determine which column the player wants to put their card in.

Devlog #1 Major progress regarding windows! i got the main window system and welcome message setup. Also got a working topbar!
Devlog #2 Major progress once again Got 2 working apps - Calculator and SimplyEpic finished the welcome screen and desktop got a working background
Devlog #3 finished writing the readme and adding a gallery, Im gonna ship this soon
Devlog #4 I ADD A WORKING CLOUD BASED MUSIC APP todo: make some songs just for butteros cuz im to lazy to make them (I WILL use ai for tracks idk)
Devlog #5 I added a working info app! not that much for this log
Devlog #6 I made a working command line with a cached file system!!!
Devlog #7 I mainly fixed bugs during these 3 hours from the past ship some of these bugs include fixing scrolling in SimplyEpic opening new tabs from SimplyEpic in a new tab instead of a popup fixed the hidden c in the calculator window for smaller window sizes ADDED A SAVED TRACK LIST TO MUSIC (FINNIALY) A lot of the fixes were added with the help of ai (cache music list and hidden c due to it being this out of my current skill level) Future plans WIndow closing and opening animations Higher quality bg add better styling to the notes app (unfinished) (ignored the blocked, its just my school mac)
Devlog #8 Animated background Startup animation i did spend alot of time coding the background with the help of ai because it is just a html script rendered as a video, the old html for the video is in one of the commits recently
Devlog #9 MAJOR PROGRESS I made MAJOR progress on the operating system! Including a huge overall of the ui to a gold/rosegold style, you can view the old vs new here Old ui https://a430d5e1.butteros.pages.dev/ new ui https://butteros.blrc.me/ also added a new settings app and games app!
Devlog #10 not major progress really, just some minor css upgrades, also added a lot of new settings (look at Images) enable eurda is a dev tool that allows inspect element without needing to use f12 for mobile yea not that much really but look at commits for more uncommited changes (between oct 19th and oct 25th 2026)
DEVLOG #11 Mostly preship fixes, including custom wallpaper changes NEW GAMES Notes app revamp clear cache toggle and some niche readme changes ALSO A NEW REALLY COOL 404 SCREEN (the ascii arts movable!)
Ships:
What Did I make I made ButterOS, a lightweight easy to use opertating system powered by html, css, and js. Apps This WebOS currently features 2 app: Calculator - Calculates stuff SimplyEpic - Google search but no ai and only searches academic sites (3 to be exact) Plans for the future Add support with Streamables inorder to build a cloud based music app using stream codes. Remake the toolbar from scratch because its not much different from the guide add support for connecting to other butterlabs services What I struggled with Sizing.
What did I make? Well I added quite a lot this update, including a cloud based music app, working terminal with a file system, and an app with info about the project! What are some challenges? Mainly the file system, it took a lot of time figuring out how caching works. Overall a solid ship with the terminal being my favorite part!
What Did I make I made ButterOS, a lightweight easy to use opertating system powered by html, css, and js. Apps This WebOS currently features 8 apps: Calculator - Calculates stuff SimplyEpic - Google search but no ai and only searches academic sites (3 to be exact) ButterOS Music - Cloud based music app Info - Returns info about the project CMD - The butterOS command line Notes - The butterOS notes app Games - Games iv made along with other ones too Settings - Settings for the OS Plans for the future ADD A FILE SYSTEM… What I struggled with Mostly things out of my skill level Summary of new features I added ALOT of new features including new apps, a new design theme, startup screen and more!, Look at the commit history and devlog history to see all the changes in detail!...

Finished basic functionality I’m building a very simple webOS (maybe too simple). I’ve just finished the basic functionality, which includes, adding a window, opening and closing it, and a top bar with data like data and time. Next up is to make some apps!
Finished website I just finished the website. The final website has a welcome screen, notes app, and a weather app with real time weather data from your location!
Small change to the notes I made it so that you can now add notes and edit their names.
New app! I just made a timer app. I couldn’t think of any ideas for apps so I just went to some default smartphone apps, and ended up choosing a timer. If you have any ideas, I’m open to them. Just comment on this devlog.
Two new apps! I added two new apps! You can now open Google in SimpleOS and you can also change the background color.

I built my slackbot for the stardance mission :). I used ai to help me debug some errors when trying to setup my slackbot locally and deploy it to nest for 24/7 but idk why the hackatime was glitching and it said like 70% of the time I spent on hackatime was by ai :/. Its ok though. I called it pisces :) its based off of my main project and cuz its my favorite constellation. I just implemented the basic commands tough. :/ I will add some more in the future but for now this is the current v1.
Ships:
Well I made v1 of my slackbot Pisces that will function as an assistant for my main project Pisces! Currently it has 3 very basic commands, help, status, and ping. Test ping out ;) But in the future I plan to add several more commands that will connect to my main site and when I add firebase to it it will become super cool. I plan to make it so ppl can check their account status and like their hours on the website, their ranking, their current favorite planet and whatnot, and also mybe ill add a command that lets them check daily astro news that is grabbed from the main website which grabs it from other sources such as nasa etc....

Devlogs:
Learning godot because i feel left out. i am using the haven jumpstart material to teach myself the basics, my character can currently: jump, move. I have also made a basic map. I am excited to develop this project further.
Currently there is an animated character sprite and collectable items as well as there being a significant improvement on the map (which has only been made using a single image). Next goal will be adding more places to go to
i had far too much fun making this, so now we have a killbox that restarts the level if you fall which took longer than it should and now i have started to make a new castle location with my amazing design skills
I think the castle looks okay atleast compared to everything else now, i did some more touch ups around the map - nothing major - the main focus was the castle which i think im keeping as is after sitting and trying to think of a design for it. Not sure where to take it next..
We now have a moving skeleton that took too long to make, as well as a key mechanism that takes you to the next level- this annoyed me for a while because it wouldnt work and all i had to do was link the next scene to the door, but it works now.
So much has gone wrong. i spent a long time trying to add in an attack animation and even after using multiple tutorials i couldnt get it to work so i gave up. In other news, i spent about 2 hours composing some music for the first level which is added and working and now i have started to work on the second level.
i have finished up the map for the second level and created music for it. I think im going to leave this project here as im losing interest in it and also becoming busier with other things and dont want to waste time adding useless things for the sake of having more.
Ships:
This project has been something ive enjoyed making and been able to learn a lot through as i could make the brave claim that i kind of know how to use godot now and with some effort could potentially start creating my games without a huge usage of online tutorials. While making this i encountered so many issues that caused me to start getting annoyed but i tried not to give up even if that meant staying up late and losing sleep because of it. Devlogs:
closing the day, added a building system and fixes will publish repo tmrw
bugs and bugs, got bochs to compile and load files properly but stack size and recursion is a problem right now
working?
fixed compiling flags, replaced the BIOS implementation and now we can boot alpine linux 64-bit on a tab!
dynamic heap resize works, finally got the network adapter to compile and we can finally see OpenRC booting!
switched to tinycore (or just ‘core’ x64 port), fixed stack sizes (both emscripten and asyncify), and pings to non-restricted and websocket enabled domains work now. the only thing left is implementing an interconnect daemon with a web proxy
linux is really anywhere! i added link time optimizations with -O3 and -flto, the boot takes 2 minutes on a generic x86_64 kernel in firefox. will minify the kernel and the os to have an actually usable system
last devlog before shipping. i have added the project to github and i will take a break from it to focus on more projects and school (obviously!)
Ships:
this is linuxanywhere (or a bochs version optimized for browser environments with x64 linux booting capabilities). it can run VMs on the browser (but really slowly). check it out! will improve it more and will add the features i wrote on my github page! i hope you enjoy this :)...

Started working on SchoolOS. I made the basic desktop first, then added the Welcome screen, frame and windows. After that I added some apps like Notes, File Manager, Terminal and Paint. I also got the windows draggable and made notes, files and wallpapers save with localStorage.
I’ve been working on adding a more transparent look to the SchoolOS environment.
I’ve been working on making all the apps transparent and fixing some bugs in the drawing app.

Devlogs:
It is finally functional! After five hours of coding, along with collaborating with an amazing team, this project works! What’s coming next? I want to add a feature where all the annotations can sync with a Google Doc, to make student’s lives a bit easier!
What did I do? I updated the READ.me because the way the extension works is a little different, and then it is assumed to not work, because of it, so I wanted to add some clarification. Also, as seen in the picture, I updated the manifest to create a cool new feature! What’s next? Create a feature where the information you write can easily be transferred into a Google Doc, again, for more connivence.
What I did? Tried doing the sixth step of the guide again, but it failed, and I don’t have time today to fix it again.
What did I do? I didn’t really do much!
What did I do? I tried to fix the errors with the AI summary, because my project keeps getting rejected for different reasons!! Also unrelated, but my hackatime is glitching and I’ve lost my streak!!!
What did I do? Try to restore my sticky streak and ship a projedct that has been rejected for multiple reasons.
What did I do? Ponder why my AI summary in my extension keeps not working for others! Also, plead that my sticky streak can get restored because of that glitch.
What did I do? I’m trying to figure out how to make my project work!
What did I do? I realized I had two popup.js files, and after reviewing my project, one had been human written, troubleshooted with AI, and one had been completely human written. I deleted the AI one and chose the human one, but my features still weren’t working, so it had to be something else, but now I have a version control issue - kinda. What do I need to do next? Figure out all the branches, and how I can fix all these weird issues. Merge issues are very bad
What did I do? I fixed my file, restored it to its original version, and deleted the mess with the branch from last time. What next? Try to troubleshoot my project, either with the help of AI, or simply dissecting code I’ve never seen.
What did I do? I had two popup.js files, and I tried deleting each one to see what each of them does, and I think they are both crucial, but I figured out the one with the most importance, so now I can analyze what is missing from there and what I should be changing to make this fully functional once again!
What did I do? I’m trying to figure out what file works, and which one doesn’t to try to get all the features working
What did I do? Still not find the error :(
What did I do? With AI, I was able to adjust my define feature to make sure that it was functional. However it still isn’t completely functional, I need some minor adjustments, but I have no idea how to get started without any suggestions from AI. What’s next? I’ll ask AI which files to fix and I guess I’ll learn how to code from that!
What did I do? Recently, my chrome extension has just stopped working, ever since I finally finished it in the summer, and I don’t know why! It’s super weird and I’m trying to troubleshoot WITHOUT changing too much because I would to preserve the integrity of the project
What did I do? I FIXED ALL THE BUGS IN THE CODE!!! Turns out, the biggest problem with my Chrome Extension was that the service worker wasn’t finding my actual background.js file, because I didn’t list out the whole path
Ships:
I, with three other people, created a chrome extension that has the ability to help students around the world! This extension, the Article Annotator, allows you to take notes, have an AI summary, define specific words, and save highlighted/annotated sentences, so that the next time you open up the article, you can see what exactly you wanted to remember! This project allows everything to happen in one tab, rather than switching between many different tabs. There are more updates that I want to create, like a sync to Google Docs for all notes to be transferred! Enjoy, students!...

The AI-to-Hardware pipeline is officially live! I built a Python command center that connects to a local Phi-3 LLM. I upgraded the AI-to-Hardware pipeline by injecting a custom Python physics module and a CLI dashboard (using the Rich library). To test the fail-safes, I intentionally prompted the local Phi-3 model to design a massive 387mm drone for a Martian environment, requesting paper-thin 2mm arms. The AI extracted the JSON, but my physics engine intercepted the data before generation. The Astro-Forge v5.0 pipeline is complete! I upgraded the Python command center to feature an interactive CLI. The system now interviews the user about their mission profile and target environment, dynamically piping those inputs into the local Phi-3 LLM.I successfully tested it by requesting a “Supersonic Drone” for Earth’s atmosphere. Just locked in a massive refactor on my Astro-Forge drone generator, finally tearing out all the hardcoded “ghost variables” to wire up a mathematically honest, end-to-end physics solver. Now, when you prompt it with something like “high speed racing drone,” the system automatically provisions actual hardware from a JSON database (like Emax motors and F7 stacks), iteratively calculates the exact volumetric frame mass instead of guessing, and runs a structural solver that sweeps arm dimensions until it guarantees a 1.5+ safety factor against real motor thrust. SOO, a lot has been done the map layout has been made the player(aka cat) have all types of animations it have also added all the future Animations in advance like shovel, watering, hoe and a lot more, i think its going to take long cause today i spent 6.5h+ in total. made this House layout too next i think ill work on the house more and try to add npc, too.
I added collision boxes and hitboxesYou can now actually use the AXE to chop down trees which feels so cool to finally have working. I also added a door that opens when you get close to it It’s honestly a LOT of work because I’m learning Godot while building the game at the same time, but slowly everything is starting to work together.
Tiny updates but a lot of stuff Added rocks that you can mine just like the trees, and both rocks and trees now have their own mining animations. I also added a Chicken NPC that walks around to random locations with different movement speeds. Also added Y indexing so NPCs and objects layer properly when walking around, and made templates for adding more NPCs later so I don’t have to build everything from scratch each time.
Added a tool bar at the bottom for selecting different tools. I used a PanelContainer for the main bar and made custom themes for the normal, hover and selected states of each tool button. Also set up the different tool slots so I can add more tools to it later without having to remake the whole thing. Still working on getting the tools to actually do their jobs properly.
Added UI, inventory and day system Added the tool selection UI and an inventory system where you can pick up and store items. I also added a day and time system, with the environment changing colors as the time moves from day to night.
Added Crops YAY, Use can use Hoe To till the ground and then soe seeds seeds using the seed bags they grow in 7 days time you can speed the time aswell
Added NPC dialogue I worked on the dialogue system so the player can now talk to NPCs through dialogue boxes and have conversations with them. I’m also setting it up so dialogue can trigger actions in the game, like giving the player seeds to start growing crops. This is the start of making the NPCs actually interact with the player instead of just being part of the map.
Paws Field is completed Finished up Paws Field and added the last few things like sound effects and a proper game menu. Most of the main systems are now working together, from farming and tools to animals, inventory, time and saving. It’s finally in a playable state.

Devlogs:
I have started making my frictionless project, which is DevLens! it helps you to upload any folder in it and then it will tell everything about each and every file in it, like what is connected to which file, what is importance of each file, you can view the whole file, and many more features. When developers open a codebase which is new or they don’t know about it, they often don’t know: Where to start, How files are connected, Which files are important, What might be problematic, Why certain files/code exist. This project turns a confusing codebase into an interactive explanation. I have made the navigation bar, the title and some details.
Added new section which contains the lines which will show the button to upload the folder of codes and explain the features of DevLens such as: Where the project starts, how files are connected, etc.
Made the scanning screen which will come when the file is being analyzed and a the main scene which comes after it, it has all the features and the main outputs and workings like it will show everything about the codebase or the folder which we uploaded, it will show all the files, their content type, relation with other files like css file is connected to html and js is also connected to html, then css is connected to js, etc. then the importance of each file, etc. till now only Project health section and architecture section
Wrote the first version of html, it has tabs or sections for overview, graph, warnings, History, export for whole analysis.
Started with css and added one mre button in html which I had forgot, the button is for adding or using DEVLENS for new folder or code base. in css I have added so many colours in start itself using variables, colours like: Kraft, mint, ink, blue, lavendar, butter, deep colours of many colours, etc. the made colour families in starting itself. so by defining and using 20 to 22 colours and 3 font families in start itself, it will be very helpful throughout the css coding.
Now it has started looking good, not completely but partially, I have wrote css for navigation button, the main title of DEVLENS, then also for the feature lines which tells what DevLens can do, yet css for the select folder button and the box in which it will be there, then for the main dashboard and other navigated buttons like history, graph, etc; is remaining.
Wrote more css, now the starting page or landing page llooks very good, not completed yet but still it is like around 60% is done, now the title colour, stlye of writing, the tagline, the points about devlens, and background, all looks like excellent. I used ink, ink-soft, butter, etc; colours. then for the font style I used these font families: 1st is named mono: “SFMono-Regular”, Consolas, “Liberation Mono”, Menlo, monospape; and second is named serif: Gorgia, “Iowan Old Style”, “Palatino Linotype”, serif; both are wonderful styles according to me. I had described these font families and colours in start itself inside ‘:root{}’ so it is easy to directly use it wherever we want inside the css file.
I have now made it look even more beautiful!! A half transparency box in center for uploading or dropping files and folders (or you can say codebase) for devlens to analyze it and give you the report. then made its borders rotate which was a little tricky work but I did it. The codeblock for the rotating border is in the code image below and also you can see the image of my launch/main starting page. also it has some colour boxes randomly placed around with dashed border around it and also the pastel colour, brown colour shade, etc looks very pretty.
Completed with the landing/main page!! 🅰️ Y! All the cards which are randomly placed everywhere are hover sensitive, means when you will hover over it, it will react to it and change it’s shadow giving the effect of being pressed, same for the 2 main buttons for selecting the folder. now I have started with the scanning screen which you can also tell loading screen.
I finished the scanniing screen, it is plain but looks good, I tried making it look more good, but some errors were there so I made it simple and started with the main dshboard styling.
completed completely with scanning screen and started writing css for the main screen. I have wrote the css for the buttons and the file navigation box at the lleft side, then also for the top main navigation bar, the buttons arre reactive with mouse hover and click, and has a dashed border or highlighting the main thing at top right corner: 🔒 Local — files never leave your machine. I used the ‘& hashtag128274;’ (hashtag should be replaced with hashtag sign, when I put hashtag sign here, it converted it to the same lock sign) for making the lock logo (it is in html). I removed the class=hidden for a while from the main app division and header section, later I will agaiin make them hidden and remove class=hidden from the main landing page section/division.
Finally completed the main dashboard (overview) css. everything is hover reactive, and the best look which gives my style to it is the messiness off all things, the pastel colours, the tapes, etc. it looks super cool. No data is there as after the css and js finishes, while testing or anything, when we upload the folder to it, it will analyse it and give the results. when you will click on the file, it should show everything about the file like data, type, and all.rest depends if my code succeeds to work (which it will after different attempts, could be less, could be more, don’t know, but I will try my best to finish this project completely working and help other people, coders, office people through it.
I startd with the graph screen CSS!!!!!!!!! agggaaaaiiin the same, buttons are hover reacctive, colours are pastel, and nothing more, just font size color, alignment, shadows, hover, etc etc; not yet finished but at least it looks good. you would be thinking how am I able to see the graph screen before writing js (as we can see graph screen by using navigation bar)? the answer is simple, the div of overview section had “class=“view active” “ and others had view, so I made overview’s class to view, and graph’s class to “view active”. simple. so for every thing untill css finishes, I will do this, and after all the things are done in css, I will make it correct again, and then write the perfect js for it (which could get wrong, don’t know yet).
I finished my graph section css. I took some help of AI for understanding how to make that graph box in between and the circles of it and a little more, but I wrote the code myself, I used AI only to know about it and understand it as I haven’t made any css for graph.
Completed warning screen (section) toooooo!! the css for this was not hard, means it was easy, nothing so much was there, just wrote css for body, title, content, hover, etc. you can’t see so much n the image yet as after js when I will upload any folder, that time it will show warnings of the folder, files, etc.
Two newses: 1. Completed the history section (page) css too, it was a little big but as compared to other pages, it was like medium small and less hard. 2. I have crossed 1000 lines in css, won’t be very big for coders who regularly code huge, but for me it is like very less time I hit above 1000 lines, sooo !
started with the inspector screen, this is the screen which shows info about each fie, just click on the file and you can see the info about it, yet no info as ofcourse folder or any file is not there yet.
completed the inspector and finished palette, it is for jumping to any file, nvigate, open, or close. not much.
Completed Javascript, I had took a new laptop a few days ago and when I started to complete the remaining code, time didn’t got tracked and I lost my hours ! I have tested it on this stardance, I had downloaded the project folder from github stardance official. here are the results of it:
Ships:
I have made a website which is like a tool for people. we can upload any project folder (it is for large folders), then it analysis it and then show all the info about the files and folders. it solves the problem which many people face, the people who want to know about any project, website, or any code folders, we have to open the files or run it to understand it, see which files are connected to which, and some people don’t know from which file to start, so this website solves that. I faced some issues in some parts of javascript and css but I did it. I took some help from ai for javascript parts to understand it, and then I typed the code....

Devlog 2…. So basically at the start I got this live server extension in VS Code so I can see my site updates right away in Chrome. Devlog 3… I couldn’t wait to fix my chopped website Now atleast it looks fine.first i fixed all my broken code typos like accidental double semicolons and missing brackets that were breaking everything. then i threw away the boring white layout and added the windows xp hills wallpaper to the background. i also changed my old plain blue gaming icon to a much cooler pfp and added a cool cloud image lower down finally i made the main text float right on top of a realistic retro notepad box instead of sitting underneath it, and made all the images perfect circles. btw here’s how it looks now
Devlog 4..Today I updated my website layout. I fixed some broken code blocks and made a clean grid system. Now, my text and custom pictures sit perfectly side-by-side inside the Notepad window. It makes the site look much more organized and gives it a cool tech style.
Devlog 5… 💫 Today I added a new section called “My Favourites” with this quirky blue emoji I found on Pinterest idk why I did that. Anyways I will add the things I like tomorrow cuz I couldn’t think on any at the moment🫠
Last Devlog… Today I finally polished up my website to make it look clean. I updated the wording in my projects and favorites sections so they aren’t just empty placeholders anymore. Since the text was hard to read against the bright grass and cloud background, I changed it to a soft white color. Then I added a nice dark text shadow behind the letters so they stand out perfectly and anyone can read them easily on mobile or computer screens

🌐 Project Highlights: I made a custom personal website from scratch designed around an early-2000s desktop aesthetic inspired by the Frutiger Aero design. 💔The most heartbreaking and difficult part of the project was managing all the code from scratch, wrestling with the curly brackets, and building the desktop boxes. It was a massive challenge to make all those components layout correctly while ensuring the text contrast stayed readable against the vibrant background elements.🗒️ Please note that the first view of the site is just for the desktop window aesthetics, while all of my personal sections are neatly organized as you scroll down.🔔To test my project, simply open the live link and scroll down to explore my three custom sections: the About Me introduction, the Projects area featuring this website, and the My Favourites section highlighting my hobbies like DIY paper crafts, sketching, and coding....
