Devlogs:
Starting my fun little world generator. I added three different world types, lava, regular and random which randomly generates colours for the terrain! You can download the executable at https://dsochamp.github.io/Mini-World/ . If I get enough likes I might turn it into a 3D world explorer or add more world types!
Finished my noise generator, complete with more themes (check them out in the README.md) and little sheets and boat across to give it a cooler feel. Here is the Lava world that I made (there’s also random colour mode).
Ships:
Mini World Generator is a python perlin noise generator (the thing that runs minecraft including the hc server). I made three different world types: regular, lava and random colours pls read the README.md before trying it out....

continuing a project i started outside of Stardance this project is a somewhat-accurate recreation of the Budapest subway system, i’ll be building metro line M3 during Stardance took quite a while, but i’ve added a 6th track (track 3) to the Kelenföld carriage house (this is for M4) had to split up the house entry track to add a second turnout, but i forgot to change the switch to account for this, so the assembly rolled onto the left track (vewy scawy) to be able to test it easier, i added a simple “Dispatch” context menu that can be used in the Unity editor (it ignores the maximum dispatch time) experimented with secondary beeps for M3, gonna have to revert them on these prefabs lol
started work on the M3 line i lapsed about 1h 15 mins: half an hour for screenshotting overpass turbo and stitching together map pieces in photopea (i should’ve expanded the canvas first to help arrange images when importing them, but i just slapped them into the same position, and suffered the consequences xd) 48 minutes (does not include recording) for chopping up & exporting voicelines for metro line M3, some lines needed more editing because i forgor to record a few sections (e.g. “doors open on the right” at some stations in the opposite direction, i didn’t take the time to record all - 2 stops twice) the image on the right shows the final audacity project the left screenshot shows a steep descent into madness that is not supposed to be like that lol i haven’t modeled the carriages for this line yet, so it’s just a recoroled M4 assembly for now i’ve placed the stations from Kőbánya-Kispest to Kálvin tér which covers a little under half of the line the connection from KöKi to Határ út is very basic, i’ve only connected two nodes for the track, and somehow managed to leave the second node at Y = 0 gonna have to split that section into multiple segments because the mesh library i’m using is not happy about it on the right side of the left image you can see the future tracks for the carriage house, but i’ll only be building half of it (just look at the horrors) i really hope that 8 assemblies will be enough to fulfill the line’s needs (Sunday timetable), probably wishful sinking though at some point i’ll have to make escalators to connect the two lines dynamic loading of scenes when you approach the station alternative solution if i don’t have time: no transfer between the two lines (sad emoji)

But when something that was not a function or something on a line by itself, it typed the first two letters, then inserted a newline. After hitting my head against walls, I found out that I had been using the strcomp function (in C) wrong. It returns 0 when a string matches and I expected to return 1 instead. That caused all the lines to be handled like they were just a space. I also found out that I had not accounted for a newline character and had assumed it would be removed sometime in the parsing process. I managed to figure it out, though, and it works fine now. I also wrote some docs. I wrote them in markdown and made a converter that turns them into html and stores them in the device when the project is compiled. Devlogs:
Devlog In Which I Start Making the Firmware I made a macropad with KiCad. It uses an esp32 s3, so it will have a web based config editor. This project is the firmware for it as I did not know that stardance could do hardware projects. Since I just worked on some button code and got set up, I will just have some pics of the macropad.
Devlog In Which I Make Great Headway This devlog is rather long, but a lot of things needed to happen before I wanted to make another devlog. I had a very difficult bug involving macros (written in DuckyScript) running at the same time. It wasn’t always a problem, but the buttons made it really easy to crash the system by overlapping scripts. When I added some code to keep track of that, it would crash when launching a script from the web-ui, but not when launching them from the terminal or buttons. After much (much much much) debugging and banging my head against walls, I figured that the problem was with a websocket status pulse. By delaying the pulse, I could avoid a crash. You can see the one line javascript patch below. I’m not sure why it was crashing the device, but it seems to be fixed now. I made a PR to upstream here . Anyway, enjoy the demo!
Devlog In Which I Am Forced To Do Frontend I made it so that the script selector is like the buttons so that it is easier to use. It took a while because I am not very good at frontend things, but I like how it turned out. It was made especially tricky as on-device debugging involves compiling and uploading the new firmware, connecting to the access point network, and then reloading. I did get a debug setup going with python -m http.server but then the websockets did not work for obvious reasons.
Devlog In Which I Refine Button Ordering I made so that the ordering made more sense. It used to start with zero which is fine but confusing for some people. I also made so that the pins are read in the right order, as the order used to be 1 4 7 2 5 8 3 6 9 to make it easier to route, but as that also is confusing, I made so it reflects the ui. The next step is shortcut profiles like the original duckyPad.
Devlog In Which I Add Profiles This is a really long devlog because profiles are a big feature. They make it so that you do not have to overwrite your macros every time you switch contexts. They were tricky to make for a variety of reasons. I had to add multiple cli commands so that the web ui could do things, refactor lots of things so that they could be reused, and change how I compiled the project. I also had to write frontend code! shudder I learnt a lot of things about the project while debugging. For example, a cli command called from the websocket must return something or the ui will hang. Fun times! Here is the diff of what I did: link
Devlog In Which I Improve Ease Of Access I made it so that you did not need to connect to the access point to configure the device. This is handy because otherwise you would have to disconnect from the internet to configure the device. I also fixed a stubborn bug with the profiles. The problem was that the get_profile command returned the current profile with a newline. This in turn broke the javascript that let you edit the scripts. Instead of editing 6 (for button six) it was editing \n\r6. This broke the quotes and made a big mess.
Devlog In Which I Add NeoPixel Support I integrated the NeoPixel LED with the firmware. My only problem was that the NeoPixel library was vendored in. I fixed that by adding a PlatformIO library in the config. Now you can show the status of your script through the LED! It also shows you if it managed to connect to WiFi. I tried to make the ip address of the device static while in station mode, but it turns out things like that vary between routers, so I just added a readout of the ip address to the settings. I made a demo video for the LED. The three flashes at the beginning confirm that it connected to a wifi network. I had to put tape over the LED to diffuse it.
Devlog In Which I Add STRINGLN I added a command (function?) called STRINGLN. This is just like the STRING function, which types out a string, but after typing out the string, it presses enter. This is not a big change, but to make it, I had to read all the code involved with parsing the script and pressing the buttons. STRINGLN is also a very handy function (command?) as it reduces verbosity and many existing duckyscripts use it. I created a pr to the upstream project which you can see here . Below is an example script from the Hak5 repo that uses STRINGLN.
Devlog In Which I Use Lots Of Filament I made a case for my Keypad using OpenScad. It took eight iterations of export, slice, and print, but I like how it turned out. It makes it look a lot more finished. I tracked the time with Lapse because I could not track it with hackatime. Below you can also see prints of failed designs.
Devlog In Which I Try Out Bad Ideas I made alternate keycaps with OpenScad for my keypad but in the end I chose to stick with what I had before. I wanted the buttons to have smaller profiles and be the same colour. At first I tried to make a complicated clip like the injection molded ones that came with the set, but that failed as 3d printed material is not suited for that purpose. Instead I made keycaps that held on with friction. That worked, but they were hard to take off again and they ended up being uglier than the injection molded ones.
Devlog In Which I Redesign A Working Case Multiple Times I rebuilt the case! It took ~20 iterations of export, slice, and print, not including failed prints. It now covers the whole top of the board but includes some vents so that you can press the reset and boot buttons. It took a lot of work and I changed the design multiple times. I ended up with hexagon holes in the case which in themselves were tricky. I used an OpenScad library I found on thingiverse and modified it, only to redesign the pattern so that those edits were not needed. Typical! The main picture is what I finished with. I also have pictures of the other designs.
Devlog In Which I Add Media Keys I added media keys! So far I have pause/play, next, previous, and volume. It turns out those types of keys are not regular keyboard keys. They actually are part of something called Consumer Control. The library that works with Consumer Control is very similar to the built-in esp-idf keyboard library but as I looked at the code, I noticed something wrong with it. I found out that the USBHIDKeyboard library was vendored and then modified. To make sure that Consumer Control did not mess with the keyboard I refactored the code so it just used the built in library. Here is a demo of the volume keys:
Devlog In Which I Push Through More Frontend I made it so that the selected profile and selected script are highlighted. It took longer than it should have because I have not learned frontend and do not use AI. Another problem is the time it takes to upload changes to the device. However, I still managed to make it look okay.
Devlog In Which I Hit My Head Against Walls I fixed a tricky bug. If the script parser encountered a line with just a space, it would not delete the line like it would if the line was empty. Instead it would split the line on that space and return a NULL pointer. The reason this was hard to find was because it was deep in the internals of the parser and was written in C and I could not use print statements as the Serial Arduino is C++ only. When I could use print statements, I did, and with careless abandon! Then I spent a bunch of time making my commit message line up nicely.
Devlog In Which I Make Things More Nice I added a bunch of QOL improvements. I made it so that Ctrl+S would save the file in the editor. I made it so that a profile is automatically selected when the web ui loads. I also added mDNS so that you do not have to remember an ip address but can just go to wifi-duck.local!
Devlog In Which I Write Documentation And FIx A Bug I fixed another bug, learned a new thing about C, and wrote some docs. When there was a space on a line by itself the device performed as expected. That way someone can read the docs online or from the access point.
Devlog In Which I Lose Much Untracked Time This devlog does not have much time tracked, but I have spent a lot of time on the project. I made a demo video and used DaVinci Resolve for the first time. I also fixed some bugs and cleaned up the files. I had some hardware issues too, but I managed to get around them.

This project is my first hardware project ever. I designed it before entering Stardance, but I learned how to do it from Hack Club resources like the Hackpad docs. I have always wanted a macropad and I like how it turned out. To make the firmware I forked a cool project called Super Wifi Duck . That is why I called my project Super Wifi Duck Pad, even though that is quite the mouthful. I put a lot of effort in and I am proud of what it is now. I especially like how unique it is even though the hardware is simple. I hope you enjoy the demo video!...

Devlogs:
Finally got the window drawing! (WGPU is hard)
The Test Triangle Look! A triangle! (This is a very common test to make sure a graphics library works)
I finally got a start to ray tracing! The game is finally rendering using raytracing, although it’s currently very minimal and for some reason there’s a blue bar on the left. If anyone can help figure out why, it would be much appreciated.
Refractions, Reflection, and Skybox I added refractions, reflections, and a skybox. I also made the camera move. The next steps for the project are lighting, optimizing the shader for performance(so I can have a reasonable render distance because 64 looks like a lot but the player is actually 8 blocks wide because this game is more detailed than Minecraft), and sending the world data from the CPU instead of generating it while rendering.
Did some optimizations, discarded some to do later instead, kept 1, and started work on sending world data from CPU. Note: No git commit for this one because I need to finish the code for tracking the world on the CPU, but there’s a good idea of what I’m doing in the screenshot!
Got the 3d texture set up but not working… Help wanted! I got the 3D texture working, but I just see a screen full of sky. I am going to work on debugging it myself, but if you want to look at the code and you see something weird, I would like to know.
OH MY GOODNESS I FINALLY GOT IT WORKING I finally figured out (with the help of claude) where the bug was and I fixed it (myself). Now I can actually see the world instead of just a screen full of sky!
Improved the demo scene so it represents the actual game better and I can work on making the graphics good.
Got a simple chunk loading demo working! I will continue working on Fun with Squares in the future, but as graphics are important, I will need a better GPU before I can do so. I will ship next.
Ships:
I started working on my game, Fun with Squares. While not everything is finished yet, this demo shows the ray-traced graphics(Once I get a better GPU that can handle more effects I will make the graphics better[but they are already ray traced, just very simple]) and a simple example of how chunk loading will work in the final version....

Devlog #1 Hello! I’m building a docker (or podman) image that can make deploying nginx easier. Devlog # 2 Hello ! I am working on a prepared docker (or podman) image with Nginx, lua and other plugins. Changes: The major change since the last devlog is that I added support for the crowdsec-nginx-bouncer. Furthermore, I standardized some comments, installing path, stage names. Devlog # 3 This is a shortened version due to the character limit. I posted the full version on GitHub . Hi! It has been a long time since I posted my last devlog, whether you count the days or the coding hours. I took a break surfing the internet and listening to the radio. After I came back, I ended up spending more than 10 hours coding. Anyway, there are some big changes. It literally took me an hour to separate the mixed code and stage the changes, and I also spent almost my whole day on this devlog. Even worse, I hit the 4000-character limit.
Devlog # 4 Hello! I am now working on a big refactor (again). I am planning to write a .sh script that can be used in either alpine or debian based image. A rough description of what I am making from my previous Devlog: I am making an OCI Image, basically a Docker image, that includes Nginx and a bunch of third-party modules and runs out of the box. Leanred I was almost new to .sh scripts. I knew it is similar to the command used in Terminal, but I didn’t know there are actually some huge difference. case and if I learned how to use the case command. So many ARGs in the photo!
Devlog # 5 I have finished working on the .sh script, and now there are more customization options that can be passed in through the ARGs. I added SHA-256 verification for the packages downloaded from GitHub releases. I added support for some other modules, including Fancy Index, and geoip2. Also, I worked on NJS and found out that the official image already comes with the njs module. Repetitive work was done. :––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––: I’m running out of time and energy because I need to focus on “Back to School” stuff, so I plan to wrap up the project. I didn’t finish the Alpine-based image. To-Do: Fix one error Write the default nginx.conf file Test that everything works well Deal with copyright stuff, i.e. include the license in the image Write a CI/CD to push to Docker Hub Write a README file
Devlog # 6 I truly didn’t work on this project for a long time. I was trying to warp up by fixing some few bugs, trying to organize some of my uncommitted changes, and testing! I still need a README, and I plan to ship after a finish it! This project really changed a lot and shift from my original thoughts at the start! Good luck for me! 👇 Me failing to manage my code clearly. I’ll probably git reset --soft and separate this huge chunk.
Devlog # 7 Hi! I have broke down that big commits into smaller peaces (See Devlog # 6 ), merged the two Containerfiles into one, and wrote haft of my README. I also added support to automatically download the Core Rule Set and ngx_http_lua_upstream (I found out I missed it before, it was a dependency of lua-resty-upstream-healthcheck) I wanted to keep my DevLog short and clear. I think that’s enough. Also, I hope I can ship today!
Devlog # 8 Final Devlog! I was working hardly on the REAMD.md . It took a long time to list every author and licenses of all of the modules and plugins. I kinda put all the copyright stuff in the README, because that works the best for me. Additionally, I uploaded the image to Docker Hub, fixed more bugs, did the finally testing, and added a video. The video may not load as expected, however this is a CORS problem with GitHub. I don’t know how to solve it.
Ships:
I made a Container Image that repacks Nginx with ngx_http_lua_module , cs-nginx-bouncer , coraza-nginx , and more nginx modules as dynamic modules. I also include many lua plugins See the full list in README.md . The challenging part is to install the all dependency of a module. The module may have a few dependencies, and the dependency may also have some dependencies. Another challenging part is testing and solving countless bugs. I am proud of that I really solved a problem I had when I was building up a website using nginx. I needed some plugins, but I needed to compile Nginx from source. Now, users including me only need to pull the image from Docker Hub to use the modules. People should have basic experience with Nginx before they test and use my project....

Half the time when I tried to make some major change I had to revert it because the changes completely broke everything. anyways here’s the model (so far). Things I did: Changed the code to enable just-works Bluetooth connection (automatic connection when powered on) Soldered on buttons and scroll wheel Fixed the previous lag issue (no noticeable latency now) There are still a few things I’d like to work on in software, but now I’ll be shifting my main focus towards designing the enclosure for this mouse. There are a few things I want to add still: Configurable side buttons: I haven’t figured out how these will work yet. I’m trying to figure out what I can actually do with them first Improving power efficiency (will figure it out later) I haven’t done CAD in quite a bit, so I expect the enclosure design to be a bit of a trial-and-error process. (9 hours of coding time later….) Unfortunately, not that much actual progress has been made. It’s just how things go sometimes in embedded development. Here’s what happened: My SPI implementation for my mouse sensor decided to stop working randomly. Therefore, I had to spend a couple hours to figure out what caused it and to replace it with an entire new SPI implementation. (My current best theory on what happened was that I was trying to run my sensor’s 3 wire SPI using Zephyr’s 4 wire SPI library, which led to problems whenever I increased the frequency.) Right after I fixed this, all my old PREVIOUSLY WORKING mouse code suddenly stopped working. I then spent another several hours fixing this as well. I eventually narrowed it down to some kind of problem with the bootloader, but I still have no idea what it is. I’m just using some workarounds for now. So that’s how i spent 9 hours (+ more unlogged time bc my logging and stuff isn’t actually on VSCode) getting back to where I was last devlog. I LOVE EMBEDDED! YIPPEEEE also here’s a video of the mouse movement actually working"}, {"post_id": 40597, "ts": "2026-08-04T07:52:38Z", "hours": 9.7519, "text": "Major progress has been made. Things done: Wrote the code for the mouse scroll wheel Integrated the scroll wheel code into the actual mouse code Fixed the evil bug in the motion sensor (see past devlog for my unhinged rant about it. the real issue was very different.) I won’t elaborate on what caused it because I’m very superstitious at this point and if i talk about it more it may come back. Right now i have clicking, scrolling, and mouse movement all working independently, but I haven’t integrated all three together yet. The finished mouse PCB (on the hardware side) should be ready by next devlog. Future things to work on: Making mouse movement smoother in some way because there is some lag currently and it is quite annoying Power efficiency optimizations in software (don’t know what to do for this quite yet but will look into it) Testing the mouse under battery power Designing and 3D Printing a case Attached below is a screenshot of my terrible testing setup. I’m so glad that this project (started in January of this year btw) is finally somewhat close to being finished."}, {"post_id": 7357, "ts": "2026-06-12T08:17:38Z", "hours": 8.8631, "text": "I am proud to announce that after 9 hours of coding, I have… still not solved the SECOND MOST EVIL FUCKING BUG I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. the rundown of my project is that I am making an entirely custom mouse. I started this way before stardance, and by the time it started I already had the PCB designed + ordered and a bluetooth mouse connection working. I began logging time around when I started implementing the motion tracking on the mouse sensor through SPI. communicating with the sensor through SPI took 30 minutes of coding. The problem was the aforementioned evil ass bug I encountered after this, which was basically that the sensor kills itself every time it even barely gets lifted off of the table, and it requires a power cycle to get it back to normal operation. obviously not a very good thing to be happening in a mouse. now here is the fun part, as I spiral into the depths of insanity: after changing every software setting in my code that could reasonably fix this issue (sensor force awake mode, SPI transaction issues, SPI clock timings, etc), I decided to test the sensor with some old, verified working code that I had written a month or two prior. One thing to note is that my code so far was written in Zephyr OS while the working code was in Arduino, so I had to make a really jank connection to a different microcontroller board just to run it. As it turns out, the verified working code.. worked properly. So i made more changes to the Zephyr code, and I still can’t fix the bug. At this point, my Zephyr code is basically a 1-1 recreation of the Arduino code, so I decide to test the Arduino code again to make sure I’m not going insane. THE VERIFIED WORKING CODE STOPPED WORKING. I HAVE NO IDEA WHY STILL. THE BUG SOMEHOW SPREAD????? this is what I meant when I said it was evil. i could feel the MALICIOUS INTENT behind this issue as it attempted to destroy EVERY LAST BIT OF MY SANITY. At this point, I was pretty sure it was a hardware issue, so i re-soldered all the connections, continuity tested them with the multimeter, etc. it was not a hardware issue. IT WAS AN OPTICS ISSUE????? the issue was with the lens that came with my sensor the entire time. I still don’t know what the exact issue is, all I know is that everything works if I take off the lens. how exactly am I supposed to solve this??? i’m a programmer who knows some hardware stuff. i can’t debug the laws of optics. I did ask AI to help me out (can you blame me at this point?) but it was kind of stupid as per usual. has any one of u smart people here worked with mouse sensors before??? please send help if you can thank you. I have already ordered a new lens (in case i got unlucky and the one I have is defective) and I am currently considering hiring an exorcist to purge my PCBs of evil spirits. Title: Mouse by @yetanotherkevin | Stardance
Devl Title: Mouse by @yetanotherkevin | Stardance
Devlogs:
I am proud to announce that after 9 hours of coding, I have… still not solved the SECOND MOST EVIL FUCKING BUG I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. the rundown of my project is that I am making an entirely custom mouse. I was originally going to post a devlog once I got X and Y movement readings on the sensor, but as you can see, I’m a bit stuck at the moment. Another note I’d like to add is that the 9 hours I’ve spent trying to fix this is only the software debugging time. The actual time spent trying to fix this is probably more than double that. I’m too lazy to timelapse me crashing out for several hours. attached are photos of the sensor lens and my pcb testing rig. tldr: unfortunately, no progress has been made. evil demons are infesting my project. please send help
Major progress has been made. I’m so glad that this project (started in January of this year btw) is finally somewhat close to being finished.
This was supposed to be a short devlog. YIPPEEEE also here’s a video of the mouse movement actually working
The software part of the mouse is done! (mostly) I managed to finally finish up the software portion of this project after fixing all the bugs from last devlog. It now functions almost entirely like a regular bluetooth mouse. For the time being, I’m just glad I don’t have to deal with software bugs anymore…..
i have been in the cad trenches. I don’t have too much experience with CAD, and especially with making something as complex as a whole mouse. Learning how to make the curves properly was a bit of a learning….. curve (laugh at my funny joke please) after much trial and error, I got this prototype of a mouse baseplate done. I 3d printed it as well to get a better sense of scale + check my lens height alignment
devlog 6 i have finally finished version 1 of the mouse enclosure. yes, this took me 10 hours. no, I am not very good at CAD. a lot of the time was spent towards trying to make the curves work better, but onshape really hates 3d curves for some reason. Half the time when I tried to make some major change I had to revert it because the changes completely broke everything. anyways here’s the model (so far). Now i have to CAD a custom scroll wheel and the side buttons. I am really going to hate onshape by the end of this.
devlog 7 behold. the mouse now exists. in flesh and blood. (it’s printed out of PLA actually but you get the idea) I’ve actually tried using this mouse in place of a normal mouse for a little while, and it isn’t that bad. (unless you count the issues where it randomly disconnects, bad ergonomics, inability to drag click, etc) i have designed version 2 already with several upgrades including: battery mount proper lens alignment custom mouse wheel middle click supprot but unfortunately i have lost access to my 3d printer for a while so I can’t actually print it yet.
Ships:
I made a fully custom Bluetooth mouse! I’m finally done with a project I started all the way back in January. The PCB, firmware, and CAD were all done by me and this was one of the coolest things I think i’ve ever built...

i used codex to help with implementation while i worked through socle’s screens and tested the main flows. that testing uncovered bugs in a feature i thought was already finished, so i went back, fixed them, and checked it again. i also cleaned up the surrounding ui and interactions. it was a reminder that finishing the code isn’t the same as finishing the experience, and there’s still more to catch before opening it to more testers.
before bringing in more testers, i wanted to clear out the obvious things that would get in their way. i went through the main screens fixing layout issues, inconsistent components, and navigation that took too much effort to understand. these were mostly small changes rather than new features, but they made the experience more consistent. the next round of feedback should help me find the problems i haven’t already learned to work around.
socle needed more places to explore as well as a cleaner interface. i added locations and filled out existing pages, then worked through inconsistent layouts, spacing, small bugs, and interactions that felt awkward. having more content also made the gaps in the experience easier to spot. this update brings the app closer to a wider test, where people can spend time discovering things instead of reaching the end of the available content.
taste needed a practical way to test visits before full location tracking was ready. i replaced the old flow with a temporary visit button, which let me check how visiting a place changes someone’s profile. i also adjusted how actions are weighted and repeated activity is counted, so one place doesn’t overwhelm everything else someone likes. the screenshot keeps the exact scoring weights private, but the goal is straightforward: taste should develop from someone’s activity without becoming too easy to distort.
i’d gotten used to some of socle’s rough edges, which made them harder to notice. i went back through the main screens with a first-time user in mind and cleaned up confusing buttons, inconsistent layouts, navigation, and loading states. most fixes were small, but together they made the app easier to move through. i’m getting closer to the experience i want: people exploring places without having to figure out the interface first.
i kept fixing one small issue and finding three more. this session turned into a sweep through socle’s navigation, spacing, loading states, and awkward interactions, trying to use it like someone who didn’t already know where everything was. there wasn’t one big feature, but the fixes removed a lot of little interruptions. we were hoping to ship afterward, then ran into repo issues. that pushed the release back while we worked out a cleaner source setup.
this was where socle’s discovery and business sides started connecting. i worked on turning feedback, saves, visits, and employee recognition into insights a business could use. the difficult part was deciding when those interactions supported a conclusion, so i built around showing the evidence and admitting when there wasn’t enough. i also separated the broader patterns managers need from the feedback an individual employee should see. the first engine uses rules i can inspect and test, giving me a clearer foundation to build on.
one review can contain a complaint about slow food and a compliment about the server. getting socle intelligence to recognize both became a useful test of whether it actually understood the feedback. i experimented with models, settings, and context, while building the connection between the model and a business’s data. running it locally also introduced speed and reliability problems to work through. the hardest part is still knowing when several reviews reveal a pattern and when there just isn’t enough evidence to say.
i spent this session testing whether socle intelligence could give a business something useful beyond a summary of its reviews. i worked on how it uses customer feedback and business context, and added support for graphs and tables so answers are easier to understand. some responses still missed the point, so comparing answers and finding those gaps became a big part of the work. i also fixed cover-image bugs across the site. there’s progress, but i still want more evidence before trusting the answers.
socle was looking ready for testing, but using it exposed things i couldn’t leave broken. i fixed search, added sliding transitions between chats, and built the native foundations for notifications, four widgets, and location tracking. the biggest change was separating browsing from actual visits: opening a place page shouldn’t count as going there, and a visit now needs five minutes of reliable location evidence. i also rebuilt the business homepage with a more interactive design. the simulator and mac builds passed alongside 23 automated checks, though location accuracy and the apple integrations still need real-device testing.
socle’s pretty much ready to be shipped in a few minutes, just made a last minute testing flow for you stardance testers:)
Ships:
socle is built around a simple idea: finding somewhere good should feel personal. it brings together places, curated lists, recommendations from people you trust, and a taste profile that develops through your activity. i wanted a better way to discover places that fit you and keep the good ones somewhere worth coming back to. the hardest part has been making those systems work together reliably. repeated activity shouldn’t let one place overwhelm your taste profile, and opening a place page shouldn’t count as physically visiting it. i worked on those distinctions alongside search, missing photos, chat navigation, loading states, and account isolation. testing kept revealing small problems that made a bigger difference to the experience than i expected. i’m proud of how the two sides of socle are coming together. discovery helps people explore and share places, while the business side connects guest feedback with insights about their experience. the design took plenty of iteration too, from discovery’s warmer colors to the interactive hardware animation on the business homepage. the native iphone and mac versions are also progressing, though location tracking, notifications, and widgets still need further real-device testing. how to test: click testers at the bottom-left of the sign-in page, or open socle.pages.dev/testers. enter stardance when asked where you’re from; capitalization doesn’t matter. a wrong answer gets one final question asking who you’re testing on behalf of. you’ll receive a 24-hour testing account. explore discovery, then open the profile menu and look under your workplaces for stardance testers. there are owner and employee entries, and each tester gets a separate workspace with sample reviews so you can experiment without changing a real business’s data. the linked public repository contains a limited discovery homepage demo; the full application and backend remain private. the devlogs cover the wider project, and ai’s substantial contribution to implementation and documentation is explained in the ai usage declaration....

Devlogs:
Researched about song finders, checked a lot of github projects, finally i made a way to find song from social media links. the feature is almost working simply, i will update the design and add more perfection soon.
A lots of error, suddenly i have clicked something wrong and it has stopped working, i will solve the error, as fast as possible, i have used a little help of ai for frontend for now, i will also update it soon.
Okay, so I tried to use gemini api key for finding song, but i found that, gemini can only find youtube song while i want to add Instagram and tiktok feature.
I will change the plan, i have found that finding a song from link is so hard. its not working, no AI or any other tool can find a song via just a link, It will so hard. I will make a Song detail generator via title instead.
Finalized the project completely. used a ombed method for finding song and no API needed. i deplyed it in github and its time to ship
Updated some css, I wish my project time is now well. I used AI for researching and Analyzing, but it shows more then 30% AI coding. I think its solved now.
Updated the low resolution image issue, Now the image is clear and updated the css a little bit.
Did some little updates in css, iam trying to make it looks beautiful.
Now You can hear song directly from my searcher.
Gave some little css updates and built an android app of it. That was hard, but i did it. For more information, check my old devlogs and ships. Please rate me well.
Another devlog I’am working to make the app more powerful, good looking and more perfect. This is about being my last devlog. I will post 2-3 devlog and then ship. It will be my last project of stardance.
New Update If you don’t have a link and don’t even know name, No problem. Now it have Lyrics search support. Type a line of song and find it out!
Completed the new updates. That’s the final ship of this project. Everything is working fine.
Ships:
This is a project to find songs from just a link. if you ever like a song but dont know the name/artist you can just paste the link here, it will give the detail you want. i used ombed system which dont need any API to work. thats fully opensource.
That’s my 2nd ship, I have added some updates like, Added song player, changed Some colors, Changed background etc. I hope that you will rate me well, and Thank you.

Trying to fix save & load scene
Finally fixed the save & load system! I changed the flow so that the game pauses first, then the player can choose to go back, return to the home screen, or save the scene. The problem now is that it can’t display a screenshot of the current progress…
Almost done… I just need to add info, and fixing dialogic problem
My first idea was to make every object in some areas interactive, and add some minigames too. But since I’m running out of time, I’ll focus on the main story for now. Hopefully, I can keep adding more minigames later! For now, I’m just using a placeholder that says the object is locked. Lol
Now i’m making more scene such as library scene, dress-up scene.. and connecting them with dialogic
Because stardance getting extended, i intend to add more minigames for player to explore. So i change the code for unlocked places. I also cut the ending to be more short.
So now i’m making maze game, not related to the plot tho, and it’s just a simple maze game that player can randomized it each time they played
i’m still working on mini games, now i’ve done making games like, jumping game and fireplace game (for bedroom) next, i want to add library game where the player needs to be quiet.
FINALLY, THE WAIT IS OVER!!!! After working on this game for over 3 months, I’ve finally finished it!! Even though it didn’t turn out exactly how I expected, at least it’s done now.. What I’ve learned from this project: Learned how to use Dialogic to implement save and load systems. Made minigames like the maze game, fireplace, and more!
