Fixed security issue with PasswordKeeper! One of my ship reviews mentioned that I didn’t use proper salting in PasswordKeeper, making it slightly easier for hackers to hack it. I have fixed this as well as a couple of other tiny issues, and made v1.1.5 as secure as possible!

Placing down notes - Just like in a real DAW! Ive come up with this code that allows the user to place down a note in the 5x5 grid square using the capacitive logo button on the microbit V2
Where did my cursor go? I added a system that when your cursor is over a note in the 5x5 screen that pixel flashes so it does not blend it with the others
big problem i have no photos today but during testing on real hardware, the microbit can only make sound in one channel (monophonic) but i have a solution the gameboy by using fast arpeggios i can make it sound like its playing all 4 notes at once
debugging ;(
a new sorta worse scrolling design but very simple
I’ve gotten the scan line to finally work, its sorta complicated but it scans the line its on for any blocks and each individual block of the scan line is a specific row a notes for example all of the notes on 0x is middle C so the scan dot of the scanline on 0x checks if theres a block there and it doesn’t even need to know what note it is all it knows is all the notes there are a middle C so it plays a C my next thing to tackle is how to make it play chords as i said earlier the 65mhz CPU can only play a single tone at a time
We are a little bit behind now: so I thought of using some AI to help me out on the note playing thing but what it actually did was give me faulty code that resulted in the software leaking memory, I have learned my lesson
Hello everybody, version 0.1.0 is out check it out here https://github.com/johnnywiththethinkpad/micromidi/releases/tag/v0.10
this small if script saved the entire project, why you might ask its because before when you clicked a or b not only it would move your cursor but would also call for a function and that function would delete sprites that didnt exist yet which resulted in a null error this checks if there is scrolling and then it would call upon the function
this code here allows you to remove notes
GIANT UPDATE 1.0 TOO MUCH TO LIST HERE https://github.com/johnnywiththethinkpad/micromidi/releases/tag/v1.0.0
trying to debug something that goes on only on real hardware but not the simulator
working on a new menu system that makes changing playing modes, saving your songs and tilt logic to bend the synthesizer frequencies or modulate note volumes in real-time just by physically tilting your board left, right, forward, or backward possible in the future
stiill working on the main menu sorta thing i put the code in blocks so its easier to visualize rather than text code
fixed a bug that had hairless midi giving out this error. When the microbit is playing the song in MIDIMODE it sends data way too fast for the microUSB cable to send so it comes out broken to solve this i added a timed delay that made sure every byte of data came through the cable clean. I also worked on the quick menu more
finished most of the menu thing so far still have yet to make the save and load feature
im just gonna keep postin devlogs in block code so that anybody with any knowledge can understand it: ive added this feature that when ur in midi mode it plays the preview note through your DAW or whatever u have connected instead of the internal speaker
still trying to debug the error with hairless midi
im trying to find a reliable way for the user to save their song, the microbitV2 im pretty sure has 512kb of flash memory but the only way that I know of right now to use it is via the datalog extension which doesnt allow for reading just writing to the flash you can read more about datalogging on https://makecode.microbit.org/reference/datalogger
im trying to make the save feature so far but it multiplies itself I dont know why
i have a new saving system that will allow me to use a combination of hard drive saving and code saving it will work via you saving it to the data log then you plug the microbit into your device then you read the code enter the code into the load feature and you have you song back
Ships:
I made micro:midi a DAW that allows you to use the micro: bit V2 like a real sequencer machine, you are able to place down notes remove notes and play your combination of notes all within this tiny device. You are also able to control other pieces of professional software like Helm and or FL studio making the possibilities with micro:midi endless. In this segment you will find: A lot of astronauts photos with cool animation on scroll at the top Section about Peggy Whitson Section about Scott Kelly I decided to write a little bit about 2 people who did some iconic things on the ISS. I didn’t wanted it to be boring and I think that I found the perfect balance. Thanks for reading and have a nice dayy!!!
Devlog 5 - Guide and Social media segments Hiii! 3/5 segments finished!! Social media That’s just a segment with ISS socials (but the tiktok one is ESA’s account bc iss don’t have their own and esa post a lot from the ISS!) But I’ve done this in such a… unique way! The social media icons you see is just one full img I added A B C and D text and centered it on these icons Added href to these abcds and it’s working! Last step - opacity: 0 But why this way? I’m sure that there’s an easier way to do this but I’m not that experienced and I like to create things on my own, I came up with this and it works!! So yall remember, work smarter not harder! Guide segment I’m not so sure about this one. Please let me know - should I keep this animation, where the letters are “dancing”, or should I change it to some smoother animation? I kinda like it bc it’s like futuristic computer coding something vibe but idk, so pleaseee watch the video on the 3th slide and let me know below!! It would be highly appreciated!!! Thanks for reading and have a nice day!
Devlog 6 - Education segment Hello everyone, 4/5 segments complete! Education In this section I embedeed 2 imo interesting videos from the ISS and a button that direct you to the ISS site!! Obviously I’ve also added some animations and I fixed the animation from guide segment, sorry I forgot to put this in the video, but I think that it looks much better now! If you’d change anything please let me know, I’d love to get to know your opinion!! Thanks for reading and have a nice day
Devlog 7 - About segment Hi again! 5/5 segments are complete!! About This segment is just a short description on the ISS and a photo with cool animation What’s next? I’m not shipping yet, now I need to perfect this site! Style the scrollbar Fix some animations Add some details It’s near finish! Thanks for reading
Devlog 8 - Final devlog, cursor, scrollbar and minor changes Please watch the videos below if you’re a voter and you can’t visit this website by computer. The first video is speeded up Cursor I added this cyan star cursor! I knew how to change the cursor but I had such a problem with making it different while pointing. Eventually I asked ai for help and it turned out pretty well - I think it adds some whimsy to this page Scrollbar (visible on second slide) I also styled the scrollbar!! I used youtube tutorial for this one. Looks much better now, I love the cyan accent! Few minor changes Fixed some bugs, some typos, added few words Thank you!! I’m gonna ship it now, thanks yall for your support I really appreciate it. This project was so fun to make, CSS is awesome. Wish me luck

ISS HUNT A website created from the love to css What’s this about? It’s about the ISS. You’ll find here 5 segments: About Education Guide (on how to spot the ISS) Astronauts Social media Every segment is all around the ISS! Besides, you’ll find a lot of animations - enjoy them! This site is meant to be fun, and I built it so we can remember the ISS forever, as its retiring soon. The challenging thing was probably the cursor. Aaand the scrollbar. Before, I knew the absolute basics of these 2 features, but in this project I learnt a lot more about them. I enjoyed making it bc of css - it was such a creative and smooth process. Please try on laptop/computer OR watch the videos attached in devlog 8. It do NOT work correctly on smartphones....

I made the pages with HTML and CSS and used JavaScript for the puzzle interactions and hints. What was challenging? The hardest part was honestly getting everything to work together. I kept breaking the CSS, changing the design, fixing buttons, and debugging JavaScript when something didn’t work. Making the different pages connect properly was also more annoying than I expected . What are you proud of? I’m mostly proud that I actually finished it and made it myself. It started as a pretty simple idea, but I kept adding to it until it became an actual playable puzzle. I’m also happy with how the signals connect instead of each page just being a random puzzle. What should people know so they can test your project? Start from the beginning and don’t skip the clues. Signal 01 gives you the information you need for Signal 02, so paying attention matters. Some buttons weren’t taking me to the right page, some links were broken, and a few pages just wouldn’t load properly on GitHub Pages. At one point I decided to just delete all the files from the repo and start over instead of trying to fix everything one by one.I added the project folder again and then separated and uploaded the files one by one. That made everything way easier to manage because I could actually see which files were there and which ones weren’t.I also had some problems with uppercase and lowercase letters in the file names. I didn’t realize how much that could mess up the links. A file could be there, but if the link used a different capitalization, GitHub Pages wouldn’t find it.So I went through the links and made sure they matched the actual file names exactly. After fixing all of that, I finally got the whole thing connected:Signal 01 -> Signal 02 -> Signal 03 -> Signal 04 And now… Signal 04 is finished too. Honestly, getting all the puzzles to work was only half the problem. Making all the different pages connect properly was a whole challenge by itself. But it’s finally working. No more broken links. No more random missing pages. No more GitHub Pages confusion. The whole signal chain is connected now. LOST SIGNAL IS BACK ONLINE. I built the pages myself with HTML and CSS, and then added JavaScript when I wanted the puzzles to actually react to what the player was doing. The first signal was probably the part I spent the most time messing around with. I had the code 18 - 5 - 4 - 24 , and the idea was that the numbers weren’t really numbers. After getting the first puzzle working, I added the wrong-attempt system, hints, and eventually the continue button that takes the player to the next part. Then came Signal 02.I wanted it to feel different from the first puzzle instead of just being another text box. The player has to use the numbers from Signal 01, find the right boxes, and then figure out what the message means. I also connected the later clues to my own website, which made the whole thing feel more like an actual trail instead of separate random puzzles.Honestly, I broke things a lot while making this. There were times when the CSS looked completely wrong, buttons didn’t look like buttons, pages didn’t match each other, and some of the JavaScript didn’t behave the way I wanted. I also kept changing small design things because I wanted the site to feel like something I actually made instead of a random template. The biggest thing I learned was that making a project isn’t just writing code until it works. A lot of the time was spent figuring out why something didn’t work, changing it, testing it again, and sometimes realizing that my first idea wasn’t even that good.I also got much more comfortable with HTML, CSS and JavaScript during this project. Before starting, I didn’t really understand how much the different parts of a website could work together. Now I can actually build a page, style it, add interactions and connect multiple pages into one project.LOST SIGNAL isn’t some huge game, but I’m genuinely happy with it because I made it myself and I learned a lot while building it. So…SIGNAL LOST. PROJECT COMPLETE. LOST SIGNAL DEVLOG #1 I started working on a new project called LOST SIGNAL.It’s going to be an interactive puzzle game where you have to find clues, solve puzzles and figure out what is actually going on. I’m making it with HTML, CSS and JavaScript.Right now I have the basic files set up and I’m planning out the first puzzle, right now i am just creating the first puzzle!I don’t want it to be hard or boring, so anyone should play and solve them by paying attention and thinking.
LOST SIGNAL DEVLOG #2 I worked more on the first version of LOST SIGNAL.I started building the actual website using HTML and CSS. The basic game layout is now there, including the signal section, clue, answer box and decode button.I also worked on the visual style. I didn’t want it to look dry or a boring website, so I went with a darker blue and gray look with some small interface details. It’s starting to feel more like an actual game now instead of just a normal webpage.Next, I want to work on the first puzzle and make the interactions actually work.
LOST SIGNAL — Signal 01 CompleteI finally finished the first puzzle of my game, LOST SIGNAL.The first puzzle is pretty simple, but I wanted it to feel like an actual signal instead of just a normal question. The player gets this:**13 - 1 - 19 - 11 **The clue says that the numbers aren’t really numbers. The player has to figure out that they represent letters using A = 1, B = 2, C = 3…That gives:13 = M1 = A19 = S11 = KSo the final answer is mask. (BUT OBVIOUSLY I CHANGED THE WORD)I also added different hints depending on how many times the player gets the answer wrong. And after 12 wrong attempts, I added a little message because why not Signal 01 is now finished. Now I’m moving on to Signal 02, where I want to make things much more interesting and have the player move through multiple pages to find clues.
Today I finished Signal 02.I first made the Signal 02 page and added the message for the player. There is nothing to decode in this one, so the player has to look somewhere else.I also added the continue button and made it go to learn.html.Then I went back to Signal 01 because I wanted the player to only be able to reach Signal 02 after actually solving Signal 01. So I added another continue button there which stays hidden at first. After the player enters the code and gets ACCESS GRANTED, the continue button appears. Clicking it takes them to Signal 02.I also made a separate CSS section for Signal 02 so I could change its design without messing up Signal 01.Had a few stupid mistakes while doing the JS , like putting the script stuff in the wrong place, a typo in getElementById and forgetting to add the result element. Fixed those and now the flow works.Signal 01 -> solve ->ACCESS GRANTED -> CONTINUE -> Signal 02Next I can continue building the next part.
Completed the signal02 It took me long time to get through the grid box in html then i went to CSS to style the box then , I hopped to js to get the message box and to make the grid really work also after clearing the grid stage i added my site for one of the puzzle stage including my instagram ID:D
LOST SIGNAL - Signal 03 HTML DONE finally finished the whole HTML for Signal 03 at once, which is the third puzzle stage of LOST SIGNAL.This one is going to be a much bigger part of the project compared to the previous signals. I’ve finished the basic HTML structure, and now I’m moving on to the actual logic and puzzles.Next I’m going to work on the JavaScript for the puzzle stages, then the coordinate part, and after that I’ll start building the location-based section. I also want to add a small playable mini-game and another puzzle after it, so Signal 03 doesn’t just feel like a bunch of questions.I’m also planning to connect everything together so the player has to actually notice things and figure out what to do next instead of just entering random answers.I’m not sharing the answers or the actual puzzle solutions here because that would completely ruin the point of the project Signal 03 is still being built, but the main HTML structure is finally done.Next: JavaScript -> puzzles -> location section -> mini-game -> more clues.
LOST SIGNAL - Signal 03 HTML AND CSS DONE Signal 03 is finally looking like an actual part of LOST SIGNAL now.I just finished the whole HTML and CSS for Signal 03 together. This one is much bigger than the previous signals, so getting the layout and design done took a while. Now I’m moving on to the JavaScript and actually making the puzzles work.No answers or spoilers here Next: JavaScript
LOST SIGNAL - Signal 03 JavaScript Done Signal 03 is finally working now.I finished the JavaScript for the main puzzle chain. The riddle works, the equations unlock one after another, and the final coordinates appear after solving them. This part took a bit of testing because I wanted each puzzle to unlock only after the previous one was solved. The main Signal 03 puzzle is now working, so next I’m moving on to the location section and the mini-game.No answers or spoilers here.Next: Location section -> mini-game
LOST SIGNAL - Signal 03 Location Section Done Signal 03 is moving forward.I finished the location section and connected it to the main puzzle chain. The coordinates now lead to a city, and then another clue reveals the next location.I had a small stupid bug while testing because I accidentally put some Signal 03 code into the wrong file but I fixed it and everything is working now.No answers or spoilers here. Next: Mini-game
LOST SIGNAL — Signal 03 Signal 03 is finally starting to feel like an actual game instead of just a bunch of questions.I’ve finished the first part of the Signal 03 puzzle chain. It starts with a riddle, then moves through a few different steps before leading the player to a real-world location. After that, I started working on the first actual mini-game.The player has to cross a signal area while avoiding moving obstacles. I made the player start at the bottom and the exit at the top, with multiple lanes and obstacles moving in different directions. There’s also a timer, so you can’t just stand there forever.I also ran into a pretty annoying JavaScript problem where the WASD controls were blocking letters inside the answer boxes . I fixed that by making the controls activate only when the mini-game is running. The whole Signal 03 mini-game is staying inside the same , file instead of making a bunch of separate pages. There’s still a lot more planned for Signal 03, including another puzzle, a hidden clue, and a memory game.Signal 03 is definitely getting bigger than the first two signals.
LOST SIGNAL — CSS ImprovementsToday I mainly worked on improving the CSS of LOST SIGNAL.I changed the overall look of the signals and made the backgrounds feel more connected to the mystery/puzzle theme. Signal 01 and Signal 02 now have their own slightly different styles instead of looking exactly the same.I also cleaned up some of the spacing, borders, buttons and puzzle boxes so everything fits better on the page. I kept the grid effect in Signal 03 and the game area because it actually fits the design, but removed some of the extra lines that were making the page look too crowded.I also made sure the design still feels like LOST SIGNAL instead of making it look like a random website template.Next, I want to move forward with Signal 04 and keep improving the project as I go.
Final Devlog — LOST SIGNAL And yeah… I think LOST SIGNAL is finally done. This project started as a simple idea for a puzzle website, but it ended up taking way longer than I expected. Thanks to everyone who helped me when I got stuck.
LOST SIGNAL – LAST - Devlog this part was actually annoying I finally got all the signals connected and working properly.I had problems with pretty much every signal. SIGNAL 01 -> SIGNAL 02 -> SIGNAL 03 -> SIGNAL 04 PROJECT COMPLETE. 😁😁

What did you make? I made LOST SIGNAL, a small browser puzzle game where you have to follow clues and figure out what each signal is trying to tell you. Some parts aren’t immediately obvious, and you’re supposed to investigate and figure things out instead of just clicking everything. Also, if something seems strange or hidden… it probably is....

This is a re-ship, I’ve added what I’ve wanted to add for quite a while, a dedicated “About Me” page, telling my basic progress as a student.
Hi!, This is an re-ship, but this time it has more aura and proper stuff, I fixed a bunch of bugs, and improved from the reviewers advice (except one)
After reading the reviews throughly I realized that I kept the wrong link in my demo link(netlify), so this is the actual project demo link(github pages), hope you like it....

Devlogs:
I just made a User Interface for study companion “Sylqora” using HTML, CSS and I also wrote the function for sending messages in Java Script. Though the CSS part was way too frustrating but it is solved now
Today was a hassle. I just kept experimenting with stuff and learned about a lot of new things in JavaScript. At first I made it so it only answer commands word to word. But then I made the user input case insensitive and then I used includes function. It also has some sarcasm making it feel less like a teacher and more like a study buddy. For testing it, the acceptance data includes acceleration, momentum and hello greeting. It doesn’t have an API integration yet but that is something I will be working on in the near future. The bot is live at https://aliraza-glitch.github.io/Sylqora.AI/
Today was HELL! It was so confusing and frustrating the front and backend were so humiliating. I was literally in tears referring again and again to tutorials. Anyways, I made a front end that only sends message to backend, a backend at a local host. Today theory and understanding took most of the time making me dizzy. I learned a lot of new things such as JSON, headers, stringify, await, async, fetch, req and res along with HTTP server making, making CORS and connecting frontend and backend. Right now the immediate issue is [object Object] is printed whenever write anything. No actual AI responds but the terminal is smart enough to show me what I typed so I guess that’s it for today.
Pure sweat and blood for deployment of Sylqora AI like using vercel for this was so confusing. Although the code is a mess and way too unorgainzed but it did work. I changed the structure and stuff so vercel can run it and now the backend is live. Though the logic and responses are almost the same but we are getting close to adding API key. Anyways Sylqora is live at https://sylqora-ai-git-master-aliraza-glitch.vercel.app/ only ask questions containg acceleration, momenum and hello and what in lower case only
Finally! It can recieve and reply. A major milestone. I used Groq API key and vercel. The coding wasn’t much but dealing with errors again and again was very discouraging but in the end I updated the script.js and got it right. But still needs work with formatting the messages, UI and giving it a personality. Test Sylqora yourself at https://sylqora-5w8pp1mrn-aliraza-glitch.vercel.app/
So I cleaned up all the coded mess. Sylqora is now intelligent and has a personality. The textContent was changed to innerHTML and the model was also changed. I also changed the UI and added a Sylqora is thinking box. I removed the Check Server button Since it was annoying and unnecessary. The inner HTML part was difficult. The HTML escaping and Markdown parsing were easy to understand but difficult to write. Also I had to deal with Sylqora just dumping infomation and unnecessary gibberish by limiting max tokens to 400 and also begged it in the role to not give unnecessary details. Do try Sylqora and tell how good it is in the comments. Sylqora is live at https://sylqora-b5h77ipua-aliraza-glitch.vercel.app/
I just made the landing page for Sylqora so that user first lands on the page and then when Get Started is clicked, it leads to the main app. I made use of all the CSS knowledge I possessed and managed to make it and it was the easiest thing I ever did for Sylqora. You can look at the website at https://aliraza-glitch.github.io/Sylqora.AI/
Ok i finished the landing page, improved nav bar, made it so that the links in navbar lead to the sections. I also added the feature that animation of the features and about section is triggered only when user scrolls down to them. I also added animations for hero section and navbar and now it looks so cool
I have done giving Sylqora memory. Now it doesn’t just forget what you just told it and keep greeting you like a very smart person. Something funny also happened. I kept debugging and writing code so confused what was wrong. The landing page opened but when I clicked on Get Started it just didn’t have memory when tested. So then I realised that Get Started was pointing to older version of Sylqora and URL wasn’t refreshed to newer version so I then linked it to app.html and boooom it worked!
I added a sidebar and made it so that it can start a new chat and switch between chats. Not as complex and hellish but wasn’t easy either. The clickable chats and resolving errors was a major change. I also learned a lot in this such as duplication of an array, dealing with localStorage, pushing the right objects and elements into the functions. Overall a great session I’d say. Try it yourself at https://sylqora-qle4c0c7x-aliraza-glitch.vercel.app/
Done styling the chat box. I realized it was way too plain and boring. But now everything is alive. I changed the send button to an arrow. Added heading and subtitle in the sidebar. Improved the New Chat button. I also created a welcome screen that comes with options. If you click on Explain me a topic it automatically types “Explain “ and you have to complete it with what ever you want same goes with with Quiz me one. I also changed the input to a proper professional Chatgpt style input area. I also changed the dimensions of messages so that it looks like a dialogue box rather than a rectangle. I thought that was all true but then script.js threw a barrage of errors. One time it would load previous chat’s response in New chat. Then it just stopped working. Then I realized I was running activechatid before autosave which ruined the whole program and caused the message to not render on the screen. Test Sylqora yourself at https://sylqora-l9bzpy2gn-aliraza-glitch.vercel.app/
Finished Sylqora version 1. Had to give final touches to the bot such as the Sylqora is thinking was light mode whereas rest of the site is dark mode so I just changed the message’s theme. Also changed number of max tokens again. Gave the feature of highlight current chat in the sidebar so user isn’t confused. Also handled the chats overflow and title overflow in the sidebar. Try Sylqora at https://sylqora-fd08yehag-aliraza-glitch.vercel.app/
I added a feature for sidebar to change height incase of large messages by user to improve readability. I also made the Quiz mode. Once the quiz mode is pressed, It asks on the placeholder what topic should the quiz be on. So user just names the topic and sends and the rest of the prompt is generated automatically and sent. I also modified the Quiz mode. It can now ask you 5 questions in a quiz and tells you the score for the quiz. Check it out at https://sylqora-f0r4pa9ur-aliraza-glitch.vercel.app/
Made the heading for Quiz mode It only asks 5 questions. The heading appears up showing topic of quiz when it is in quizmode and keeps locked in place until 5 questions are asked and then displays score and heading is gone too. Going to the New Chat disbles the quiz mode. Try it yourself at https://sylqora-o6vwi4ha6-aliraza-glitch.vercel.app/
So I refined the Quiz mode even more. Explain Mode was also upgraded. The topic heading of Explain Mode. And termination of Explain mode once another chat is opened. Explained paragraph is also well formatted since I enhanced markdown even more like It is so neat and professional. I also increased max tokens and restricted the LaTex notation making the ## and – appear in responses. Explain Mode is finished. I am now making flashcards mode. Try it on https://sylqora-e1txs56h0-aliraza-glitch.vercel.app/
Ok so I just finished making Flashcard mode. Once the user clicks on the flashcard mode on the suggestions menu, Sylqora asks in input place name of the topic and once topic name is entered, the flashcards are generated. The proportions of the flashcard mimick the actual card. The Reveal Answer button is also present to check whether you remember or forgot. The Next Card button generates Next flash card not same as previous one. While a card is being generated, a neat Loading Card message is shown on a screen. It’s literally a banger get amongst it! https://sylqora-rcf3kmb64-aliraza-glitch.vercel.app/
Improved the UI and UX so much and its 100 times better. The annoying sidebar is now closable like a drawer. The Bot message bubble is gone and now it only shows clean text on screen which looks neat and aesthetic. I also learned about SVG and implemented it which took most of my time. The SVG is just too complex but I got the hang of it. The sidebar open and close icons are SVG. I also improved the way it renders equations. I also coded it to keep response length reasonable and short. The 3 modes work very fine. I also added responsiveness for phones and now Mobile phone users can also use Sylqora without a crashing interface. Try it yourself at https://sylqora-2g4j7b8o9-aliraza-glitch.vercel.app/
I am excited to announce that Sylqora can now read text files uploaded to it and answer questions related to it. The attach file button is a paperclip but there are limitation such as the content should be plain text and not a scanned image or OCR. Pdf with text only can be read and well processed by Sylqora. File chip showing file’s name and the ability to cancel the upload is also included. I am planning on connecting ability to read files in modes such as quiz mode and explain mode so it doesn’t just sit there. It is also possible that I add the feature to read OCR and scanned image. I will also make the input bar sticky so it doesn’t get lost while scrolling. Check Sylqora out at https://sylqora-cod6nfhx5-aliraza-glitch.vercel.app/
I enabled streaming in the request of Sylqora so now the messages are streamed instead of a block just appearing on the screen. which means that it now generates responses in real time. I changed the front end and backend to handle streaming. I also added an Abort Controller which means that user can cancel their requests. Try Sylqora yourself at https://sylqora-78fvmrxhz-aliraza-glitch.vercel.app/
I prettied up the landing page. Sylqora is now getting it’s finishing touches. Just aesthetic really! I converted the landing page from previous flat version of it to a more sleek, modern and professional version using advanced CSS concepts like :root etc. The landing page is fully purple themed and I also changed size of texts at different places and gave a glow behind main heading. The nav bar is transparent glass type and the get started button is also much much better. But it still looks ugly on phone so I will fix that tomorrow I mean I am writing this at midnight. The overall landing page is so cool but who am I to brag check it out for yourselves on desktop at https://sylqora-evmi55cgw-aliraza-glitch.vercel.app/
Fixed the mobile responsiveness, The about section cards were leaking out making them look messy and get started button was weird overall page composition was trash and not good at all so I fixed it for mobile users. Try it out at https://sylqora-6eww0xam9-aliraza-glitch.vercel.app/
OK so I improved the main chattin page. It looked plain before but now mwah. I added a subtle purple glow behing the welcome text and also fixed some scaling problems. The structure of entire CSS file was changed to :root since it is more convinient and easy to handle. I made the send button glow rather than stay rigid purple. Also the sidebar was fixed too.I also added mobile responsiveness. Check it out at https://sylqora-b80j2x291-aliraza-glitch.vercel.app/

I made Sylqora AI, a study companion that helps students understand topics, practice with quizzes and flashcards and ask question about study material. The PDFs gave me PTSD especially scanned PDFs that needed OCR. Getting AI responses to stream also was a lot of debugging. In the end I did manage to turn idea into working app with advanced AI features like PDF uploads, OCR, quizzes, flashcards, streaming messages and chat history. Try asking Sylqora a study question, then try Explain mode, Flashcards, Quiz mode. You can also upload PDF and ask about it but length should be 3 pages and less...

Devlog 0 I’ve just started work on my entry for the warioware mission since I’ve used godot before and have always enjoyed quickfire arcade-like games. I have no clue what I was talking about saying I was working on foundations, because I look around and all I see is garbage. Its been a while since I’ve worked on this, but I am really baffled by what I was trying to do in the code. At least I have art for placeholder stuff, and got to actually work on the ‘game loop’. Sometimes I am genuinely concerned with what I am even attempting to make, but maybe when it all comes together the absurd plot will at least be at home with the rest of the absurdity in the game.
Cleaned up some of the minigames and made a fitting Readme for the github before shipping
I added tips just before the start of the game to make it more clear what the objective of that particular level is. To make use of the assets I made a third minigame. I also added a system to basically cache all the particles at the start, since it takes a good second for it to load on the first run, especially on web. I think I’ll properly implement the lives system once more games are added.
Added some more things to the readme to prep it for launch
Wow I remembered this project exists! worked on actually making lives, and added a new minigame to connect pcb traces
Small things that add a lot The game doesn’t end! Once all the minigames are completed, you can continue but the time gets faster over time (up to a certain point so its not completely impossible). I haven’t gotten past 12, so I haven’t quite seen the max speed for long, so maybe it is not humanely possible at that max I also procedurally made sounds so the game feels just a little more lively
I thought making something somewhat smooth with curves would be a little hard, but its really easy to slap on a lerp and everything works decently
Added a new minigame here you must accurately sort the objects to train the always watching AI. But you cannot get it wrong

I built MINERVA-8, a custom console-based 8-bit assembler written entirely from scratch in C++. MINERVA-8 emulates a complete low level computer system from the command line. It has registers, a hardware stack pointer, flags (CF & ZF), 256 bytes of simulated memory, and full CPU emulation. There is also a compiler which converts assembly code with symbolic names to machine instructions. Implemented in C++. What Was Challenging? There were quite a few issues that I ran into when running assembly programs but they were fixable using my ‘step’ flag and watching the CPU states(flags/registers). However, one major hurdle I encountered with forward labels was that my assembler did not support jumping to an undefined label that wasn’t declared yet(forward jumps) used in JMP, CALL, JZ, and JNZ instructions. I could not solve this problem until I learned during my C++ class how V-tables are created during compile time. Thus, I decided on an “unresolved array” which would store the label and not have a resolved address which would be patched later when the label is actually found. My dad also suggested a two pass assembler would be more elegant. During the first pass all labels can be resolved and during the second pass the machine code can be generated. I chose to keep the single pass design because it produced a faster assembler despite requiring a small tracking array. What are you proud of? I am more satisfied than being proud of building a functional hardware stack infrastructure capable of handling nested subroutines using low-level PUSH, POP, CALL, and RET commands. It was amazing to watch a processor simulator I wrote entirely by hand successfully use stack memory to jump into subroutines, run math operations, and bounce back to the main program loop cleanly without crashing or corrupting memory boundaries. How to Test My Project Go to https://github.com/sudeeps-projects/Minerva-8/blob/master/README.md look for the section Quick Start & Usage It describes how to test my project The compiled executable MINERVA-8.exe is located inside the release folder of this repository. General Usage Open your command prompt, navigate to the release folder, and run the executable with your assembly file and optional flags: MINERVA-8.exe <filename.asm> [options] Parameters & Options filename.asm (Required): The path to the MINERVA-8 assembly file you want to execute. –step (Optional): Step Mode. Displays the current CPU state and next instruction, then waits for ENTER before executing the next step. –ram (Optional): RAM Mode. Displays the fully assembled machine code stored in the 256-byte RAM. Command Examples Standard Execution MINERVA-8.exe DEC.asm Running Step Mode MINERVA-8.exe DEC.asm –step Running RAM Mode MINERVA-8.exe DEC.asm –ram Combining Step and RAM Modes The optional flags can be supplied together in any order: MINERVA-8.exe DEC.asm –step –ram OR MINERVA-8.exe DEC.asm –ram –step Look at my youtube channel on this topic: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7CmpW0mE3cQ", "repo": "https://github.com/sudeeps-projects/Minerva-8", "demo": "https://github.com/sudeeps-projects/Minerva-8/releases/download/v1.0.0/MINERVA-8.exe"}]...

Command Examples Standard Execution MINERVA-8.exe DEC.asm Running Step Mode MINERVA-8.exe DEC.asm –step Running RAM Mode MINERVA-8.exe DEC.asm –ram Combining Step and RAM Modes The optional flags can be supplied together in any order: MINERVA-8.exe DEC.asm –step –ram OR MINERVA-8.exe DEC.asm –ram –step Look at my youtube channel on this topic: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7CmpW0mE3cQ...

I loved reading everyone’s feedback so thank you to whoever rated my project! In this iteration I was mainly fixing all of the bugs that the raters mentioned with a couple additions of my own. Bug Fixes: I removed the debug function that brings your health down when you press space. I realise that that’s probably super confusing for people so sorry for that. On that note I also updated the controls to be much more intuitive, most common configurations should work. The pause menu also works in the last level now. Improvements: I removed the LoopManager nodes and transferred all of their functionality to the GameManager, which is less confusing for me and hopefully others too. I also added a focus, which means you don’t have to use a mouse to click the buttons. Additions: There were a few requests for a tutorial, so I expanded the first level a little bit and added hints of what to do. There was also a suggestion to add an option menu, so I did. So far there is only volume and another thing there, but I will add more in the future. Made the drawer section of OEDO (Over-engineered desk organizer
Today I learned how to do threads so I can at some point screw them together ig since I’ll be printing them seperately, I also modelled the simple base platform for it
I modelled the hanger part but oh my days this took so long just because FreeCad kept giving me errors lol but I’m one step closer to finishing OEDO!
Today I modeled the camfollower (idk what it’s called but it’s supposed to pushed things out when rotated, don’t have a pic rn) and also finally figured out how to make easy male and female threads. This whole thing took a lot of crashing out on freeCAD haha but I’m finally getting somewhere! So my plan is to have the drawer, hanger for my watch & braceletes and slots for usb and my sd card. FINAL UPDATE ON OEDO!! Omg this has been a long long journey and countless hours figuring out how things work. It was a nice learning journey as I learned assembly and threading (that was a painn) now I’m probably not going print this out because I haven’t gotten access to a 3d printer yet but when I do I’ll maybe try it out (but by then I’d probably have atleast 3 other projects lol)

Tried some stuff to get started, really need to find a good tutorial for Ash.
Got a simple window created for testing, now onto Vulkan…
Worked on testing imports from other files. Setup some guidelines for the main video engine. Created a bunch of functions for use in the main function for the engine, still empty. Next comes the fun part of trying to figure out the actual code…
Created a ton of functions. Still just boilerplate code that I eventually want to replace a lot of the hardcoded configs with variables for an eventual config file. I managed to extract a few variables that get reused consistently into an impl for a single write/ multiple reader structure because one of them should only be created once. Other than that I am relearning why I didn’t really do much with vulkan… Well time to go code some more :3
The majority of the code is ready to run… just three more errors that I spent a few hours on remain… At least I think it was a few hours, might have been just one or two…
Code is running but now I have a segfault error
I have no idea how to fix this error. I have tried not initializing sync objects, changing the order in which functions are initialized. Maybe its not working because of an empty field somewhere…
I finally got it to run and render more than one frame before crashing. Now I just need to figure out how to get it to render an actual image. Probably just messed up a section of the code.
It finally runs with no real errors this time and produces expected behavior. Next I want to figure out how to change the brightness with a key input.
I replaced my code for allocating buffer memory using vk-mem-rs. Still trying to track down the memory leak. Now I need to fix the rendering issues as something happened when switching the buffer systems out causing the brightness to significantly decrease and rendering to be locationally based on the cursor for some reason, and also now it would require a seizure warning for any video/gif which is suboptimal. Only during closing the application does brightness return to expected ranges as seen in photo below.
Well I finally managed to fix the memory leak somehow, currently it only supports a single model however my next goal is to add support for different models. Currently it can change the number of models displayed on screen at once along with the brightness of each model.
Finally manage to get rotation properly implemented and bound to various keys. Still need to change the movement system so that the camera axis rotates with the camera instead of being fixed to the same rotational state of the world.
Finally got the movement system for the camera all smoothed out. Now it moves relative to the direction of the camera instead of along the world grid. Also smoothed out the motion.
Very last devlog, just added some finishing touches, tried to get LOD’s working but they still appear too close to the camera. Yeah that’s really it, have a good rest of the year :3
Ships:
I made a basic game engine in Rust and Vulkan, doesn’t do much other than render an object ten times in a row. It does have movement support about the camera along with rotation of the camera allowing you to move around the scene. It was of course very challenging to get to this point and I had to reference a variety of like wiki’s and documents because none of it was very clearly explained in one place, and Vulkan is a low profile API where you need to code eveything. Anyways I had a lot of fun writing it, learned a lot about how it works this time as well....

Thats it thx byee ^^ (side note, pics say 2019 cz i coulnt change the date in the settings)

I circuit bent a kids camera without the soldering part. Would solder it but i dont have a soldering iron btw. Really fun project overall, liked doing it. I only used a wire, lots of tape and a piece of a kitchen sponge to apply more pressure. You can get many different coloring effects that react to the lighting detected. Also it took more like 3 hours, read my 1st devlog for that. It wasnt too hard tho, im a complete beginner in hardware stuff and i managed ^^...
