Devlog #1 I finally found the motivation to improve my wordle bot! today I learned how to use openCV and use contour detection to separate all the letters used in Wordle. Before i just had it hard-coded to look at certain pixels, I can now detect the letters automatically from a screenshot, making the bot much more flexible and reliable. Next, I’ll work on recognizing each individual letter so the bot can read the board, process the feedback, and choose the next best guess.
Devlog #2 Finished the letter detection for my Wordle bot! After tweaking the contour filtering, the bot now ignores all the extra shapes on the board and only saves the actual letter contours. It’s my first time working with TensorFlow, so there’s definitely been a learning curve, but once the model is trained the bot should be able to read Wordle’s feedback automatically.

For now, Boilerplater has just a function to copy a highlighted section (still does nothing with it) and a database loader/initializer. Most of the concepts are still just ideas. Next step is to program the snippet saving part in database.
Hey guys. After fighting against compilation errors, caused by libs and shx, and errors in database managing, caused by thread throttling by setup-ing db, that were solved using asynchronous tasks instead, now I’ve finally done the snippet creation part! The extension successfully saves the snippet, along with its title, description (can be empty) and language (in another table, as the snippet itself only carries the language id, in a one-to-many relationship, as a snippet have only one language, while a language can have lots of snippets). Next step is continuing the CRUD part, probably by including a web view.
Hey guys! Today, I worked in the webwiew. For now, we have this index page and the start of the list page. Other improvements were more docs focused, such as improving README.db and code commenting, and enforcing code structure with new ‘helpers’ folder and ‘html’ TypeScript file.
Hello, programmers! Today, I improved more the webview, this time focusing on the list view. It successfully shows a list of one of the valid models (snippets, tags, languages) and information about it. TODO: Model creation page, editing page, ensure paginate works 100% fine and add searchbar functionality. Struggles: SQL (I’m having to work with raw SQL as sql.js doesn’t have ORM) and avoiding spaghetti code (trust me: It’s hard when you have to write HTML and frontend JavaScript in string literal templates)
Hey guys! Yesterday, I tried to make this generic model editor, and I have the layout, but the functionality is… well… broke for now. Also, to correct a bug, I had to rewrite the whole functionality of the database. Now I have a proper class wrapper instead of passing the raw database object around.
Today, the edit view successfully shows the right values, but the tomSelect dropdowns I tried to add were a complete failure. TODO: Fix tomSelect.
Hey guys! Now tom-select is 100% working and model editing works… at least 50%? Well, and we also have this gorgeous CSS styling that matches with Vscode styles!
Hey guys! Today, I officially finished CRUD! For all models! I also made tag assignment work 100% fine. Besides that, I improved a bit on code modularity and organization and did small patches. TODO: Improve the “R” and maybe the “D” of CRUD; Add the snippet pasting part (the app focus).
Hey guys! I did a search engine for the list view! It was kind of complex, as I had to deal with SQL joins (INNER JOIN for NOT NULL fields and LEFT JOIN for optional fields), a bridge table, JSON_GROUP_ARRAY, etc, but in the end, it worked. Just have to test a bit more the search bar as it sometimes have some glitches (every time a search is fired, the whole DOM is reloaded).
Hello guys! Now we can paste the snippets directly from the webview! Also, it has dynamic templates: [%%] executes simple JavaScript and can access variables such as BP_FILENAME or BP_YEAR [##] turns into tabstops: can be either [# index #] or [# index | default value #] where index is an integer, and optional default value can be used when user just skips the tabstop However, as a safety measure, the templates can’t directly access vscode, node.js or other possibly sensible variables, methods or functions.
Hello, fellow devs! I just wrote this info at index about the extension and about the templates. I also made the snippet typing more similar to Vscode coding, so now it has tab indentation, and auto closes quotes, parenthesis, brackets, curly braces and the extension templating “[%” and “[#”. TODO: Fix the frontend script that is now half broken.
Hello. I started preparing extension for release, so I changed compiler to esbuild and added the GSL3 license to my project. I also started trying to implement the option to add custom variables for templating to the extension, but it’s all broken.
Hello, fellow devs! Today, I solved the issues related to macros. Also, letting it in configs.json made it messy, counterintuitive and less integrated with the rest of the extension, so I moved it to the webviews, together with the snippets, tags and languages you’re all already familiar with. The evaluation order is very important, as this is what grants macros can be access by other macros, only needing to come before in the order. I’m really excited to see what will people come up with this.
Hello, fellow devs! Yesterday, I completed the CRUD for languages! You can now create, edit or even delete them. The internal name is searched in Vscode language IDs. To delete one, if you have snippets assigned to them, you can either reassign all of them to another language or delete them along with the language, both automatically made.
Hello, fellow devs! Today, I added this gorgeous gif into the readme. Also, I had to escape the content to be shown in list view (I discovered it the worst way: completely breaking the layout while playing around with HTML and PHP snippets) and added aliases for languages, which makes searching them easier. I removed frontend JS and CSS into actual files (they were string literals before) and, finally, moved some files around.

Phantom Vault is a local file vault I built with HTML, CSS and JavaScript. It lets you upload files, encrypt them and store them locally in your browser instead of sending them to a server. It uses the Web Crypto API for encryption and IndexedDB for local storage. You can lock and unlock the vault, open your encrypted files, delete them, or completely reset the vault if you forget your passkey. devlog 2# Day 2 of working on a custom new tab. Ive added a search bar that uses google (like you type anything inside it, press enter and it goes straight to google with what youre trying to find.
devlog 3# Updated the project with a bunch of new stuff. Added a quote card that pulls a random quote from an API each time you open a new tab, with a “New thought” button for another one on demand. Built a bookmarks row too (with the help of AI), turned it into a floating dock at the bottom of the screen instead of just another block on the page feels way more like a real product now. It gave me a lot of exercises to do as well as questions and after all that I can understand everything in the code and can make something like this again without needing a tutorial. Due to procrastination there were multiple times when I forgot what I had learned and had to re learn it, that being the reason for the amount of time spent on this project. A lot more time was spent trying to learn about the code than what has been logged. The tutorial was a basic quiz game but I decided to add multiple new features after I understood the code. I decided to turn this into an Italian Brainrot quiz because I has a few ideas I could use with it which I have implemented. I added images of each brainrot getting rid of the text based questions. (I had a lot of trouble with it as I had procrastinated a lot before it so I kept breaking the code instead of adding the image) I added audio to signify whether the answer selected was correct or not. I added completion sound which is customised based on how many questions the user answered correctly. I added the audio of each brainrot which plays whenever the user hover overs an option. ( I thought this would take a lot of time to do but surprisingly I ran into the least amount of trouble doing this.) Fixed the issue of overlapping sound and made sure sound stops playing as the hover stops. Deployed it on GitHub Pages. Added preloading of images and sounds because they were taking to long to load when deployed. It took a lot of effort for me as a complete beginner to make this and learn this. KMK fixes + added input display functionality I tested the KMK code that I wrote earlier and due to several errors in the code, it didn’t work. For one, KMK does not provide much built-in functionality to perform an action after a specific key is pressed. I decided to create my own custom class - OLEDManager - to manage the keyboard’s TextEntry’s. OLEDManager can be placed itself in the actual firmware loop of KMK by adding it to keyboard.modules - allowing it to activate after keys are pressed or after the matrix is scanned. However, this took a while for me to figure out - there was some boilerplate required that I only corrected after some trial and error. I made a workaround that tracked the keypresses by adding and removing them incrementally based on the keypress and keyrelease events. After that, I ran into the issue where some keys wouldn’t be logged at all, or would only show up on the display AFTER the keys were released. This took me a really long time to figure out, but any keys that aren’t associated with layer change keys (e.g. KC.MO and KC.TG) don’t prompt any KMK Display rerenders. Initial iteration of PCB case + PCB design
Custom redesign for a 3x4 layout with a rotary encoder + an OLED. Unfortunately, Lapse glitched and I couldn’t record the PCB design process.
I completely redesigned the PCB (again) to fix an error where I forgot to leave the USB port hanging off the edge… haha. I’ve also begun the process of designing a case for the PCB in Fusion.
Finished the basic frame of the macropad casing in Fusion! I still need to make holes for the screws + adjust some further details, but there is a frame! The way I implemented the plateless mounting style is definitely a little weird. The top half of the case has plate “cutouts”, but there’s a little bit of clearance between the MX keyswitches and the “plate”. I hope this will give my plateless macropad a bit more support
Finished the casing for my macropad, including space for the heated insets + screw holes.
Just completed a simple KMK firmware for my macropad, including two keyboard layers and encoder/OLED functionality.
Final Devlog (build phase) PCB soldering + Assembly I’ve successfully soldered my PCB and assembled my parts using some 3d prints and the kit that arrived a while ago. There was an issue with my design where 2 out of the 6 screws in my design ended up being redundant, but it still works as-is! day 1, added saturns ring
long session about 3.5h got a proper chunk of time today so I worked with it properly, I added saturn’s ringtook a while to get the tilt right, ended up rotating the area around the planet and drawing the ellipse there instead of trying to math itinline. then spent most of the time just looking at it turned the orbit speeds so mercury actually goes faster around while neptune is slower, fiddled with the starfield twinkle so it doesn’t look like static, and refreshed the page a hundred times checking the ring from different angles. also started reading up on real keplerian elements from NASA’s data that’s the next thing, getting planets off circular orbits and onto actual ellipses. no fancy UI yet, still plain black terminal vibes, but it feels alive now.
kepler ellipses finally got the planets off circular orbits. gave each one a real eccentricity and major axis (which i knew nothing about till now lol) , then a newton raphson solver for kepler’s equation so they speed up and slow down like actual planets. mercury goes fast through perihelion now while neptune barely moves the difference in speed is way more obvious than with the old circles. took longer than i expected to stop the planets from drifting off their ellipses, but it’s better now. (i hope you can see the developmental process through my pics)
loader + terminal gave the page an opening animation text that prints line by line ( orrery v0.3 , loading 300 stars …. ok , kepler solver …….. ok ) with a progress bar, then fades into the system. got a navy palette. small change, but the page feels like it has life now
readme + ship polish: got feedback that my readme looked ai-generated so i rewrote the whole thing properly it has real info about how the kepler solver works, the feature list, how to run it, what’s next. also made the banner an actual frame of the app running instead of a logo. small stuff should be good to ship again 🤞
ok so after shipping i kept looking at the payout and the ratings and it was pretty obvious why the multiplier was low people said it looked cool but there was nothing to DO with it. fair. it was a screensaver. so i turned it into a sandbox. biggest change: the sim now runs on REAL orbital data. each planet has its actual semi-major axis (AU), eccentricity, and period from nasa’s jpl, and the sun actually sits at the true focus of every orbit now (before, the ellipses were centered on the sun which is wrong kepler’s first law says the sun is at a focus). i also found out my local copy of main.js was some old backup from day 1, so the kepler code i thought was there had vanished from disk good reminder to commit more. new stuff: click any planet and get a data panel with semi-major axis, eccentricity, period, live distance from the sun, mean anomaly and true anomaly pause/play + time speed slider (0-500x) + a real date picker, so you can jump to any date and see where the planets actually were. “where were the planets on my birthday” is now a use case instead of a screensaver solver view: the newton-raphson solve of kepler’s equation drawn on the canvas — auxiliary circle, M point, E point, and the iteration dots literally marching onto the answer. i think this is the coolest thing, you can watch the math converge orbit editor: eccentricity + orbit size sliders per planet, live reshape, reset to real values the moon orbiting earth at its real ~27 day period scroll to zoom the solver viz took the longest to get right because i wanted the construction to be mathematically correct, not just decorative. the moon was easy lol.
added asteroid belt and a comet to the orrery. 200 rocks between mars and jupiter, each on its own orbit with real kepler speeds they all at different rates based on their distance from the sun. the comet has a tail that always points away from the sun and gets brighter as it swings closer. took a while to get the tail direction right. still a single file no frameworks
Ships:
Built a live solar system in the browser, it;s canvas and JavaScript, no frameworks, no dependencies. Eight planets orbit on real paths using their actual eccentricities from NASA’s JPL data, with a Newton–Raphson solver for Kepler’s equation so they move at real speeds Mercury blazes through while Neptune barely moves. Saturn’s ring was the fiddliest part, needing the drawing plane rotated around the planet to get the tilt right, and keeping the planets from drifting off their ellipses took longer than the math itself. Finished it off with a terminal loader that prints status lines before fading into the system. Most proud that the whole thing runs from one file and the repo history shows the actual progression from plain circles to real mechanics.
turned the Orrery from a watch-it screensaver into an interactive sandbox. Real JPL orbital data (a, e, period), the sun at the true focus of every orbit, click any planet for live facts (distance, mean/true anomaly), time controls with a real date picker + pause + 500x speed, a drawn-on-canvas Newton-Raphson solve of Kepler’s equation you can watch converge, per-planet orbit editor with reset, the Moon, and wheel zoom. Still a single file, no frameworks, no dependencies.
added asteroid belt and a comet to the orrery. 200 rocks between mars and jupiter, each on its own orbit with real kepler speeds they all at different rates based on their distance from the sun. the comet has a tail that always points away from the sun and gets brighter as it swings closer. took a while to get the tail direction right. still a single file no frameworks honestly need a lil more stardust...

ROASTY BOT !!! this guy roasts you!! what i build today basically the working framework of this bot , new changes are upcoming bugs none till now .. ( very slow responses)
Minor changes Added web support for testing purposes to the people who dont wanna use the bot in slack (though the script for both the web and the bot are same , they are linked) Made it more deadly ( but not too much) hehe
Updated UI , and made it 24/7 online through on “very technical way” so basically currently it was hosted on render and render has its 15 timeout, to “techinally” stop that , I used github actions ( via corgs) to send a curl request to https://roasty-bot-demo.onrender.com/ every ten minutes, like this “legally” and “technically” its 24/7 also updated the ui to a blue-black ui because its more attractive according to me of course
made the Bot actually 24/7 by using cron-js.org note by that always research before doing something because i speed ran the surfing for finding a 24/7 host and settled on render through cron through github actions which was just dumb , so yeah
changed particular code files and readme also made it more rude :)
Ugh so now it runs on nest ( thx to hackclub ) updates excluded the use of workarounds for render and switched nest to be done will gonna make it burn users more
Made it more deadly!! the roast are more humane and hurts your feelings alot Channel support Previously , you had to type @ roasty-bot , now we can just invite it to our channel and chat with it 10 sec cooldown to prevent spam

Devlog#1 : Started my game creation of an amazing physics game with shaking platform!! started light with the player with running animation and added a chunk which moves towards the player so it feels like player is running instead in the background the platform is just moving this is were most endless game works!
Devlog#2- Finally completed adding player movement so that the player can dodge when objects runs towards the player and also added clamping which means player can move to some extent in the platform so that he doesn’t fall of in x axis and also in z axis and added a pretty skybox so that it will be like being in a sky theme!!
Devlog#3:Created 3d model of obstacles and added first a basic cube to come towards the player using physics and now i replaced it with obstacles like box bench and the output came very good and happy with the outcome with physics based of falling towards player is good!!
Devlog#4: Created objects and fence Spawning… I created spawning of fences in the chunk so that the player can avoid it and also added pickup like apple and coins which will spawn randomyl with range of (1,6) and it will spawn at three different lane basis at 2.5 0 -2.5 so that it will be a good way of spawning them!
Devlog#5: Created apple and coin object and make it rotate like a pickup and whenever the player touches the apple or coin it get’s destroy as picking it up and also added player hit animation whenever player gets knocked by fence and the objects flying towards the player!
Devlog#6- Created physics based running and camera fov: Whenever the player get’s knocked over fence or obstacle the player slows down and whenever the player picks a apple he will speed up with that i added camera fov zoom in whenever the player slows down and fov zoom out whenever the player goes fast!!
Devlog#7: finally finished particle effect whenever the player goes faster and then added a timer effect so that the player will go into gameOver screen when the timer runs out and i can make it more natural by adding checkpoints so whenever the player goes to that checkpoint the timer will increase slowly!
devlog#8: End of an amazing physics based game and it was a an amazing journey creating this game! added a feature like post processing like lighting effect and fog effect and added a big rock whenever it knocks on ground the screen will shake and make the player go slow!! happy with this output of game

First Devlog: I made a prototype version of my Sand Game where the physics work, but it lacks a good UI and SFX. There was also one bug where the sand would melt before touching the ground that I fixed.
Second Devlog: Made an UI with a more polished look. It’s still missing SFX, though. I’m also thinking about adding animated background and a bot that plays the game and places blocks until you click Start. The idea for the bot was inspired by Pac-Man, where the game is already running in the background until you begin playing. Also I am planning to add localStorage system for saving best round.
Final Devlog: Committed the finished game and deployed the website through GitHub, so the game is now accessible. What I changed in the last 3 hours: Added SFX using the Web Audio API. Added the bot to the background until you begin playing. Added a particle system for the background. Added a localStorage system for saving the best round, even after refreshing the browser. Edited README.md file from scratch.
Ships:
I made a physics based Sand Game where falling blocks break apart and flow into realistic sand. The most challenging part was coding the sand physics and integrating the Web Audio API for custom SFX. I’m proud of adding browser localStorage to save your score even after refreshing the page....

I spent the last 8+ hours building a custom POSIX-compliant C shell from scratch. Spent the last 3 hours building the core execution engine for my C-Shell. I implemented external command execution by scanning $PATH and using the fork() and execv() syscalls. Day 2: Personal Site – Interactive Modal & Bug Fixes Today was a productive day! I completed the core functionality of my personal site and made it more interactive. What I Accomplished Fixed CSS Animation Bug: Corrected the fade-in effect for the cards. Now the page loads smoothly with a nice fadeIn animation. Devlog 3—finally some progress lol. * * So today I kind of wrapped up the portfolio thing. Added my certificates finally—got 4 of them up (WHO long covid, UNICEF AI & Chat, and another one on digital health). It took me a while to get the screenshots cropped properly, but they’re there now. also added a zoom thingy for the certs—click on any certificate and it pops up big on the screen. Anyways, I pushed everything to GitHub. Tomorrow I’ll probably deploy it somewhere and ship it on Stardance.
Devlog #4 I eventually made time to address the minor issues that were bothering me. spent some time adjusting the light mode; I had to go through CSS to update the skill tags that were previously practically invisible in light mode. Furthermore, it included a floating back-to-top button that only appears when you scroll down a little (far more helpful than I anticipated, lol). #Devlog 5 alright, final devlog for this project. if you saw my earlier devlogs, you might notice the site looks completely different now. yeah, i basically rewrote everything from scratch. stardance reviewer pointed out that the earlier version looked too generic / ai-generated, so i took that feedback seriously. i scrapped all the boxes, gradients, and dark-mode stuff. replaced it with a clean, flat design — no boxes, no shadows, just text, borders, and a simple layout. also added some custom js features like a random quote generator and a click counter. this is the version that got approved by the reviewer (they called it “awesome project” ). so if you’re checking out the live site, this is what you’ll see now. thanks to whoever rates this. feedback is always welcome. 🙌

I used HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to create my own portfolio website from the ground up. It displays my accomplishments, credentials, abilities, and Stardance adventure. Getting the Light Mode to function correctly without disrupting the dark theme was the most difficult aspect, particularly with regard to the skill tags and certificate cards. Additionally, it took some time to get the certificate zoom modal right. I’m pleased with its sleek, contemporary appearance and complete responsiveness (it functions on both desktop and mobile devices). The certificate lightbox function and the dark/light theme toggle worked quite well. It was also a wonderful sensation to finally see it live on GitHub Pages! Simply click the live URL to finish! To view all the areas (Projects, Skills, Stardance Journey, etc.), test the dark/light theme toggle (top right), click on any certificate to zoom in, then scroll down. You can also try it on a mobile device because it is responsive....

Devlogs:
Just finished the basic layout for Commerce OS. Built the main dashboard shell, navigation and sidebar using Tailwind CSS. Now moving on to the inbox section. Excited to start this new journey!
Finished up inbox.html today. Added sample data, message list, status badges which the user will see while seeing the inbox of its business from multiple sources. Next will add some sample conversation and move on to orders section.
Finished inbox-conversation and orders page. Built out the chat interface, fed sample data, and made orders table layout. Next step is wiring up the products page.
Built out the order details pages for orders #1240 and #1229. Got the customer info, order details, item breakdown, and status UI fully styled.
Added live search filtering across the site!! Using actual JavaScript instead of just Tailwind styling. Had to write two separate filter functions since the Inbox uses link cards while the other pages use tables anyway also built out product and calls page—need to add call-conversation and invoices next!
Added sample call-conversation, made invoices and a demo settings page shell. Almost done with all the UI templates for the platform—just need to check for the responsiveness of the page and make UI enhancement and polish everything.
made a new customers page where each customer gets a profile also worked on responsiveness of the website to work on different devices
Fixed mobile responsiveness across all pages. Cleaned up Tailwind grid breaks, fixed text overflowing on smaller screens, and adjusted sidebar padding so it collapses cleanly on mobile. Prototype is officially done !!
Quick update on the dashboard. Spent the last session turning static UI mockups into a working, stateful app that actually saves changes across pages. Here’s what got done: Sitewide Profile & Business Sync: Hooked up the Settings form to localStorage. Updating the owner name, business name, or email now instantly updates the navbar, sidebar, and profile.html across every page. Also created a business profile page. Website feels much more like a real web app now rather than a static prototype. Ready for review!
Spent the day tearing down the old dashboard UI and rebuilding it from the ground up as the old one was not liked by some :( and after redesigning the design was getting cluttered with duplicate mobile navbars, inconsistent headers, and weird nested border boxes everywhere—so I fixed it across every single page. Also made sure that site is still fully responsive and interactive using CSS and JavaScript wrote new lines of code to make the site more impressive also now you can click on notification bell and the profile avatar too and do try the website and make some changes in settings to see it work !!

Okay so improved the Products page added option to add test order and also improved settings page and fixed few bugs like our little sun was coming over the notification bell in mobile view

During gameplay, pressing the designated pause button opens a pause menu where you can either resume (saving your current progress) or exit to the main menu. I included two games: Snake and Flappy Bird. What was challenging? Generating non-blocking audio feedback was definitely the hardest part. I implemented button click sounds using PWM to control the volume, which took a lot of time to tune since working with audio signals is trickier than controlling a motor. It required pseudo-multitasking using millis() to keep the gameplay smooth while playing sounds. Also, in Snake, I initially didn’t use a grid-based movement system and implemented pixel-by-pixel movement instead. Because of this, collision detection with food can occasionally miss. What are you proud of? I’m really proud of the software architecture and code structure in several parts of the project. I focused on clean OOP principles, solid encapsulation, and clear code organization (though a few spots are still a bit messy!). I’m also proud that i didn’t use delay funtion and of my Settings.h file What should people know so they can test your project? To test or build it, you just need to know how to connect the display and buttons to an Arduino Nano. Devlogs:
Devlog #1: I uploaded all the files I had written before I found out about Hack Club. After that, I spent most of my time figuring out how to detect collisions between the snake and the food. Since I originally built everything pixel-by-pixel instead of using a grid system, comparing screen positions directly required too many pixel checks. To optimize this and avoid checking every single pixel pair, I had to tweak the logic. Even though it was tricky to adjust without a strict grid, the collision detection is working now and the game is totally playable
devlog #2: added StateHandle file to handle all the actions(menu, games) in my main loop in main.cpp. Now my main loop is shorter and more understandable
DevLog №3 : What I worked on: Started implementing the Pause state during gameplay. To make this work properly, the game needs to preserve the current state of both the Snake and Food objects when transitioning into pause and back. Slightly refactored the main loop architecture and updated the SnakeGameHandle function. The Struggle: decided to write a helper function to update values inside my StateMachine (handling states like Game, Menu, Pause, Snake, FlappyBird).Blaming it on late-night fatigue, I wrote the function in the most overcomplicated way possible… and called it even worse. The result? Every time I exited the Snake game, I was greeted by a blank black screen because the Menu state was never getting assigned correctly. I spent over an hour staring at the code, completely stumped as to why it was breaking. I think it happened because of self-assignment The Fix: Decided to get some sleep. Woke up the next morning with a fresh head and fixed the black screen issue in 20 minutes. Next Goal: Finish up the Pause feature completely
DevLog №4 What’s New Pause Menu Implemented: Players can now pause the game at any time with two options: -> Continue: Return to the game with all current progress intact. -> Exit to Menu: Quit to the main menu (resets all game progress). Technical Challenges The main challenge was handling this within my current architecture, which relies on a main loop with a nested switch statement for state management. I needed a reliable way for these states to communicate and handle game object lifecycles properly: -> Persisting Objects: Retaining game objects in memory when resuming from pause. -> Cleaning Up: Safely destroying objects and resetting state when returning to the main menu (either voluntarily or on Game Over). Next Goals -> Add sound effects using the built-in piezo buzzer. -> Implement a new mini-game: Flappy Bird.
Devlog №5 I added sound effects for every button press on my mini-console! Sounds like a super quick and easy task, right? Well, it should have been. But a few architectural bumps in the road ended up eating way more time than expected. What went wrong (and how I fixed it) Hardware Pin Conflict: My buzzer was originally soldered to a pin used by SPI . As soon as the display initialized, things went sideways. Game Loop vs. Main Loop Architecture: My game logic was running inside an infinite loop within a standalone function, while the sound playback logic lived in the main loop calling that function. Next Up: Implement smooth scrolling text for the console startup screen. Conquer this cursed PWM/volume issue once and for all. Start writing a Flappy Bird clone
Devlog №6 Today I quickly set up the startup text so it scrolls smoothly, and that’s pretty much it. Nothing complicated, really—took me literally half an hour. Next up: finish tuning the PWM to quiet down the audio, and then I’ll probably work on making a more interesting splash screen.
Devlog №7 implemted PMW to control sound volume
Devlog №8 Bird Physics & Rendering Flicker-Free Rendering To prevent screen flickering caused by redrawing the entire screen, I optimized the loop by clearing only the bird’s exact position before rendering its new frame. Physics Implementation Movement relies on both velocity and acceleration : Acceleration continuously increases the downward velocity (gravity). Jump mechanic resets the downward velocity to initial on every input. Next Steps: Wall Generation Obstacle Setup I need to create an array of one dynamic wall . Recycling Logic As soon as a wall reaches the left edge of the screen, it will wrap around to the right . The height/position will randomize each time it reappears to form a continuous level.
DevLog №9 ###What’s New Walls & Pipes Mechanics: Added moving wall obstacles. Score Counter: Integrated a score tracking system. ###How It Works Score Logic: To keep things simple and efficient, the score increases automatically whenever a wall reaches the left edge of the screen. Illusion of Movement: The bird stays in place while the walls continuously cycle and reset from the right edge back to the left. This creates a smooth side-scrolling illusion! It was a fairly straightforward feature to implement, but it instantly made the project feel much more like a complete game!
DevLog №10 prepared everything for shiping. added wiring.png and AI usage declaration in my README file.

Devlogs:
Initiated Project Diana which is a memory-aware AI assistant for developers that stores important information from previous conversations and uses it to provide contextual responses across sessions. I currently have been setting up my code-space like configuring Prisma so far.
Project Diana — Weekly Dev Log This week focused on building the backend foundation: POST /api/auth/register implemented POST /api/auth/login returns JWT tokens JWT middleware added to protect private routes Prisma schema migrated successfully to the database All API routes created and returning 200 OK stubs Next: Replace stubs with real business logic and begin integrating Diana’s AI-agent workflows.
Diana: Week 2 Update This week focused on the session and messaging layer of Diana’s backend. Built out full session management — creating chat sessions, listing them, and retrieving conversation history — along with the core chat endpoint that stores both user and assistant messages. Every endpoint is now scoped to the authenticated user, ensuring one user’s data can never be accessed by another. With this in place, the foundation is ready for Week 3: standing up the FastAPI AI service and connecting it to the backend. Progress: Backend Foundation ✅ → Session & Message System ✅ → AI Service Setup (next)
Week 3 Progress – Diana Set up the initial FastAPI backend for the Diana project. Organized the project into a clean and scalable folder structure.Defined the core application entry point and server configuration. Established a foundation for future API route expansion. Created the /generate-response endpoint as a functional stub. Added request and response placeholders for response generation. Created the /extract-memory endpoint as a functional stub. Added placeholder logic for future memory extraction workflows. Verified route registration and successful application startup. Prepared the backend architecture for Week 4 feature implementation.
Diana — Week 4 Update This week Diana got her voice. Replaced the hardcoded FastAPI stub with a real Groq LLM call using LLaMA 3.3-70b. Added a system prompt defining Diana’s identity and wired in conversation history so the model has context within a session. The full pipe is now live — a message sent from Express travels to FastAPI, hits Groq, and returns a real AI response. Progress: Backend ✅ → Sessions & Messages ✅ → FastAPI Service ✅ → OpenAI Integration ✅ → Memory Extraction (next)
Diana — Week 5 Update This week Diana got her memory. Built out the full memory extraction pipeline — after every conversation, Diana automatically analyzes what was said and extracts structured long-term facts about the user, storing them as typed memory objects with importance scores in the database. Four memory types are now being captured in production: projects, skills, goals, and facts — exactly as designed. Progress: Backend ✅ → Sessions & Messages ✅ → FastAPI Service ✅ → LLM Integration ✅ → Memory Extraction ✅ → Context Injection (next)
Diana — Week 6 Update This week Diana became self-aware. Context injection is now fully operational. Before every response, Diana fetches the user’s most important memories from the database and injects them into her system prompt. She now knows who she is, what the user is building, and what they care about — before a single word is typed. The proof: ask her “What am I currently building?” with no context in the message. She responds: “You’re currently building me, Diana, a memory-aware AI assistant designed specifically for software developers.” The core pipeline is complete. Progress: Backend ✅ → Sessions & Messages ✅ → FastAPI Service ✅ → LLM Integration ✅ → Memory Extraction ✅ → Context Injection ✅ → React Frontend (next)
First Week working on Diana Frontend. So far I’ve managed to create the login page other pages are coming soon. #frontend
Diana — UI Update: Component Library All core UI components are built and ready — Button, Input, PasswordInput, Label, Spinner, Toast, Badge, MarkdownRenderer, and CodeBlock. The component library is the foundation every screen builds on. Nothing gets repeated, nothing gets inconsistent. Next up: layout components and the first full screens. Progress: Backend → AI Service → Memory System → Context Injection → Login Page → Component Library → Layout & Screens
Diana — UI Update: Components Complete All 12 components are done — UI and layout. Button, Input, PasswordInput, Label, Spinner, Toast, Badge, MarkdownRenderer, CodeBlock, Sidebar, ChatInput, and ChatMessage. The full component library is built, typed in TypeScript, and ready to compose into screens. Login is already live. Chat, Register, and Memory Dashboard are next. The frontend is taking shape. Progress: Backend → AI Service → Memory System → Context Injection → Login Page → Component Library → Screens
Diana — Screens Implementation: Frontend Structure Complete All major screens are now created and connected with the component library. The UI layer is complete — Login, Register, Chat Interface, Memory Dashboard, Profile, Settings, and supporting layouts are built using the reusable TypeScript components. The Sidebar, Chat Experience, Authentication Flow, and Dashboard structure are now in place, giving Diana a complete application shell instead of isolated components. Frontend progress: Backend → AI Service → Memory System → Context Injection → Authentication → Component Library → Application Screens → UI Integration The frontend foundation is complete. Next steps are connecting real data, API integration, state management, and refining the user experience.
The frontend foundation met the backend this week and everything clicked into place. Real data replaced the mocks — sessions create automatically on load, conversations persist across visits, and the chat pipeline is fully live end to end. The Memories screen went from a shell to a working dashboard, with filters, inline editing, and deletion all connected to the database. On the first real test, Diana loaded two memories — “User built Diana” and “User knows Express” — exactly what she was supposed to remember. It wasn’t without a fight. CORS blocked the first login attempt because Express 5 was intercepting preflight requests before the middleware could run — downgraded to Express 4 and it resolved immediately. Sessions weren’t being created on the frontend so every chat request returned a 404. Messages rendered as empty bubbles until the controller response shape was corrected to return a full message object. Each one got fixed, and by the end of the week Diana was having real, memory-aware conversations through a UI that feels like something worth using. Progress: Backend → AI Service → Memory System → Context Injection → Authentication → Component Library → Application Screens → UI Integration → Live Data
Diana — Final Update: Shipped. The last piece was getting Diana off localhost and into the world. The backend and AI service landed on Google Cloud Run, the database on Neon, the frontend on Vercel — three services, one product, all talking to each other in production. It wasn’t without a fight. Both Groq models we’d been using were decommissioned the same week we deployed. Docker refused to generate the Prisma client without a database URL at build time. Cloud Run silently dropped env vars. The auth token expired mid-deploy. Each one got fixed, and by the end Diana was running live — memory extraction, context injection, session persistence, the full pipeline — on real infrastructure. Diana is live at https://diana-six-theta.vercel.app Progress: Backend → AI Service → Memory System → Context Injection → Authentication → Component Library → Application Screens → UI Integration → Live Data → Shipped.
Ships:
Built Diana — a memory-aware AI assistant that actually remembers you across conversations. Diana extracts structured facts from every chat (your projects, skills, goals, preferences) and injects them into every future response. No more explaining yourself from scratch every session. Stack: React + TypeScript frontend, Express backend, FastAPI AI service, PostgreSQL on Neon, deployed on Google Cloud Run + Vercel. To test: go to https://diana-six-theta.vercel.app , create an account, tell Diana something about yourself or what you’re building, then start a new chat and ask “what do you know about me?” — she’ll already know. What was challenging: deploying three separate services to production for the first time, both Groq models getting decommissioned mid-deployment, and debugging a CORS issue caused by an Express 5 breaking change. What I’m proud of: the memory pipeline works end to end — extract, store, retrieve, inject — and it genuinely makes the AI feel different....

So basically, I got the foundational terminal interface running for my Personal Website. After that, I built a high contrast tactical workstation with 100% vanilla HTML and CSS.
This was probably the most effective one hour that I spent coding. I basically upgraded the terminal with client-side web audio synthesis and a trajectory comparison memory bank. I built procedural audio nodes that synthesize mechanical relay clicks, launch charge sweeps, and impact pings without external audio files. I also added ghost trajectory logging so operators can record and visually compare up to five distinct ballistic arcs on canvas with live apogee and range comparisons. Also, I added keyboard hotkeys (Space, R, S, C, M) and animated radar sweep beams across the coordinate horizon.
So, I finalized the full interactive telemetry feature set for the terminal. The most important thing that I did in this session was that I implemented an asynchronous text-scramble packet decryption engine with audio-synthesized cipher ticks on hover and initialization. Also, I Added a three-stage CRT scanline filter controller (HIGH, LOW, OFF) hotkeyed to [V], along with an on-screen tactical HUD action toast for real-time keystroke feedback.

Devlogs:
Added some first items to the mod!! Created a plan for the story
worked on implementing new blocks, added some block textures
Attempted adding block drops, added basic block drops
added loot tables, tried figuring out ore gen
Added new recipes
I added new recipes and textures! You can now upgrade diamond tools to runestone tools, with a craftable runestone upgrade template.
Attemped (and failed) to add a working GUI. I got it to show up but could not get it to be able to craft.
tried implementing a gui again 😭 didn’t work
Added a lore book and an electrocution damage effect that scales depending of how submerged in water you are
Working on adding a menu for a custom crafting table
added a menu! custom crafting screen is now added
ADDED A CRAFTING SYSTEM AFTER HOURS OF DEBUGGING!!!
Implemented a new STACKED golden apple item: The NOTCH APPLE!! Also created a new particle effect and particle, which will be implemented in the future.
I added a rendering magic circle on my custom crafting table! I went through many rendering errors, but I finally got a small magic circle rotating on my custom crafting table.
I added a cute ’lil zombie entity! Also a new holy sword that SMITES all undead mobs. I also removed some items I deemed useless.
Sorry for this short devlog, I didn’t get to implement much this time. I’m adding a wolf-inspired trident to the game now, so I’ve started by adding a fang item. I also created a spawn egg for the Savage zombie I made yesterday!
Currently updating my mod to 26.2, its so hard 😭. Why do they change so much every update 😭
Successfully ported to 26.2!
Added a music disc with a song that I felt fitting for the mod: Downed by Ketsa. https://freemusicarchive.org/music/Ketsa/concrete-flowers/downed/
Did some housekeeping on my files, renamed the Notch Apple to the King’s Apple (it’s part of the lore trust)
Working on a new trident item, in the works! Unfortunately not finished yet. It has the ‘bloodletting’ curse infused!
Part of me despises minecraft modding because of how much they’ve changed from 1.20 to 26.2 😭 Currently still stuck creating a trident.
Continued working on my trident item. I honestly have no idea what I’m doing at this moment, nothing seems to be working.
The trident shows up as an entity now! Next steps: loyalty, item model
Continued working on my trident entity, it hates me so much. I did get it to become loyal though
Took me 10 hours, but I did it. Custom construct Entity with custom model, and custom altar structure. The lore is coming along well.
67!!! 6 hours and 7 minutes. I have successfully implemented a new dimension and biome, the Classic Dimension and Classic Biome. Currently halfway through implementing a new Rift Key (to jump dimensions) and Blood Dropper (Undead Summoner)
Just a bit of work, added a new cursed lectern block. It gives all mobs in a surrounding area weakness or weakness II when activated with a runestone or polished runestone
Added final touches before shipping in alpha development stage.
Final touches, forgot some edits earlier

Today I started from that overflow-only toy (two html pages, one report.html) and tried to finish the loop I wrote down in VISION.md. First I rebuilt the demo into a fake club so Chrome has more than home/about. heatSheet.paths is now /, /about, /events, /join. There’s extra html in fixtures I didn’t wire yet (projects, schedule) because I didn’t want to fake a sitemap I don’t walk. Then I noticed we launch Chromium per page. That’s slow and looks stupid. runAudit now launches once, newPage per URL, page.close(), browser.close() in finally. After that I wired taste for real. I used to judge my pages first then look at examples, which is backwards. Order now: find 3 urls (or skip if no key), screenshot those, steal sheet into logs/learnings.json, then judge mine with that json + the first example png. I also let issues be []. The model was inventing “generic template” on pages that were already a club site. Planner was 4 tiny html sketches. I changed the type to RebuildPlan: one full style.css and pages[].html as complete documents. apply.ts copies that onto fixtures/demo after dumping a backup in logs/backups. I am not writing into some other project yet on purpose. If the generated css is ugly, at least it only hits the fixture. Report became six html files in logs/report/ with a shared report.css. file:// was breaking when I tried a CDN so the css is just a file. I spent way too long on the logo. The png I copied still had a black square. Then 1.png/2.png were transparent but padded so 32px looked like 12px. Cropped nav.png. Then 44px ate the pill. Landed on 28px. Don’t look at the git history for that part. Around then an example site had a hidden . locator.screenshot waited 30s and the whole npm run log died. capture.ts now skips not-visible and 4s timeout. Example loop is try/catch so one url can’t kill the run. Dentist in the afternoon. Came back at 9:30, have to wake up at 5:30, so I only did the “a stranger will hate this” stuff. bin/fresp.mjs had cwd set to the package folder, so npx always audited MY demo. That’s load.ts + fresp.json now. No file = demo and we log it. Server used to print “already on 7373” and keep serving the OLD report. Now it binds 7374 etc. Apply fetch is /apply so it follows the port. FRESP_SKIP_AI actually does something. Wrote SETUP.md because I was tired of explaining the key in chat. Overflow is still the only fact. Clip is tomorrow. I keep saying that. Shots from the report and the demo are in docs/devlog/tmp. Repo is atireksd11/fresp-ai-tester. package.json says 0.2.0, I haven’t npm published yet because login is dead on this machine. I split the code into folders so it’s not one giant file but structured - core (calls the others), drivers (chrome), vision (screenshots + checks), state (saves results), logger, report, types, config. Got Node set up (package.json, tsconfig). The logger prints a timestamp plus a message and also writes logs/run.txt. State is a scorecard per page - url, passed, notes, screenshot name. Core loops the pages from a heat sheet (a list of paths). Then Playwright. Real chrome opens, hits a tiny demo I made (home and about). I broke home on purpose with a 4000px red bar so it should fail. About is normal so it should pass. It waits 3 seconds so you can actually see the page, then takes full-page screenshots into fixtures/baselines. Vision has one real check, not AI: overflow. It asks chrome if the page is wider than the window (scrollWidth vs clientWidth). Home = true / fail. About = false / ok. That’s the point of today, not just pretty screenshots. It writes logs/last-run.json and an HTML report you open in the browser, so you can see pass/fail without living in the terminal. I also wrote docs: ARCHITECTURE, VISION (full product: facts first, then AI taste, no cloud dashboard), ENGINEERING (how the AI path should work later, including prompt cache and skip-AI if there’s no key), and taste.md, which is the judgement file (school site vs portfolio vs ai slop, etc.). Taste file + a vision API later is the plan. GitHub is atireksd11/fresp-ai-tester. I published [email protected] on npm, so in theory npx fresp-ai-tester works. I tried it from another folder and it crashed because tsx was only a devDependency, so strangers don’t get it. I started 0.1.1 and moving tsx into dependencies. Haven’t published that yet, it might work. There’s also bin/fresp.mjs so npx fresp works inside this repo (had to fix a Windows path with a space in the folder name). What’s not done: the actual ai taste api, more facts (clip, overlap, contrast), VS Code extension, crawling the whole internet, etc. Next session: Publish 0.1.1 so npx works anywhere. Rebuild the demo so home has several real bugs (overflow, overlap, clipped text, messy theme) and about stays clean. Add those extra fact checks in vision, expand the json so every failure is listed, and redesign the HTML report (colors, screenshots, fact list, room for ai notes). Put product type and goal on the heat sheet, then start the vision api with taste.md (skip ai if there’s no key)."}]...

I made Fresp, a local CLI. You run one command, it opens real Chrome, screenshots a demo site, and checks if the page is wider than the window. Home is broken on purpose (huge red bar) so it should fail. About should pass. You get JSON plus an HTML report on disk. What was hard: publishing to npm. npx fresp 404s because the package is named fresp-ai-tester. Early versions crashed from another folder (tsx path, then no logs folder). v0.1.4 is the one that actually runs from somewhere else. Proud of: splitting driver / vision / state / logger instead of one file, and a fact that comes from the live page, not from guessing at a PNG. To test: Node 20+. Then: npx [email protected] npx playwright install chromium Chrome should open home (overflow / fail) then about (ok). Or clone https://github.com/atireksd11/fresp-ai-tester and npm install then npm run log, then open logs/report.html. AI taste is not in this ship. That’s next. Just the beginning, its gonna be very advanced very soon....

The last version had a bug where it couldn’t colour tinted and clear icons properly, i have fixed that, and i think it looks really nice now!
I added a red ring around apple music when music is currently playing. i added animation at first but i found it too distracting, so i removed it and now its just a static red ring. it really pops now, which is really nice 🥰
