Just working to see how the DeskPet will work, so this will be the prototype. By following the guide I was able to get to the part where the sprite can move all across. There was some issues with following the code because, I had to change direction to Vector2(1,1) instead of keeping it at Vector2(1,0), so that the sprite can move in all directions. Hopefully for the next devlog I am able to move the sprite more gracefully, and there is interaction when I click on it or drag it. As I plan, to make, characters like sans or Chara, fight or do other animations.
Dev 1: In this devlog I was able to change the sprite to sans, changed the movement so that it only went in one direction. The guide was right it was supposed to be Vector2(1,0) not Vector(1,1) so that it could move smoothly in one direction instead of going off in all directions. Next, Sans can tell the user the time based on their own PC time when left clicked on. Also, sounds makes his iconic noise eeee when left clicked on. Now for the next devlog, the goals will to optimize the code in a way that it allows for sans to do more actions such as fall onto the taskbar, or create a popup screen that allows to quit the program or that could maybe change the sprite to Chara or any another Undertale characters.
Devlog 2 Final devlog: I have worked on the pet and have decided that this will be the final devlog for stardance. I will continue to update the program, but due to time constraints I can’t keep making devlogs for this project in star dance. Great news is that I was able to add a menu that allows you to quit the game. Figured out how the @onready works how to handle inputs and other things; code seems a bit more oraganzied now. Sans now has a timer that says, I’m sans.

The default Chrome new tab is pretty useless if you spend your day reading writeups, checking Shodan, and tracking HackerOne reports, so I made something that actually fits that workflow. It’s a React app with a dark navy, cyan theme (inspired by HackTricks) that replaces your browser’s new tab with: A security writeup feed that pulls from Pentester Land, PortSwigger Research, InfoSec Writeups, and Intigriti Bug Bytes, so you see fresh bug bounty content every time you open a tab A HackerOne report tracker where you can connect your H1 API token. It tracks triage states, severity, bounty earnings, and dupes across programs(so you don’t have to check the website anxiously everytime :) Multi-engine search with Google, DuckDuckGo, Shodan, and GitHub. You can tab-switch between them and get live autocomplete suggestions A bookmarks sidebar (type “bm url” in the search bar to save one instantly) A scratchpad drawer for quick notes, IPs, payloads, auto-saves on every keystroke Network latency ping, clock, and a bunch of keyboard shortcuts to navigate everything without touching the mouse The whole thing is keyboard-driven(press ? to see all shortcuts). Press / to search, N for notes, R to flip between feed and reports, B to bookmark, comma for settings. Everything saves to localStorage. The HackerOne API integration was the biggest headache. Their API doesn’t send CORS headers, so you can’t just fetch from a browser tab. I had to build support for multiple CORS proxy providers (corsproxy.io, cors.sh), custom Cloudflare Worker proxies, and a direct mode for browser extensions with host permissions. Getting all those paths to work reliably with proper error handling and user-friendly setup in settings took a lot of iteration. Mobile responsiveness was also tricky. This is naturally a desktop-first tool (it’s a new tab page), but I wanted it to still be usable on mobile. Added a minimal mobile mode that strips out verbose text and tips, shrinks stat cards, and cleans up the layout so it doesn’t feel cramped on a phone screen. The search bar honestly feels really good to use. Tab to cycle engines, arrow keys for suggestions, bm prefix to instantly bookmark. It flows naturally. And the HackerOne tracker view makes it genuinely useful, not just a static page. Also proud that the whole thing works with zero backend. Everything runs client-side with localStorage persistence. You can deploy it anywhere static files are served. How to test it: Visit the deployed site (link in repo) Try the search bar, press / to focus, type something, use Tab to switch between Google/DuckDuckGo/Shodan/GitHub Press N to open the scratchpad, type some notes Press B to add a bookmark Click the reports tab (or press R) to see the HackerOne tracker, you can import a CSV or log reports manually Press comma to open settings and play with accent colors, toggle features on/off, try the color picker Press ? to see all keyboard shortcuts No login required. Everything persists in your browser’s localStorage. First working ui complete it’s just the beginning
New ui(inspired from hacktricks) and customization options added with new feed sources(still working on them)
Almost there!
Mobile responsiveness~!
Keyboard shortcuts ~!
Added hackerone api support for fetching reports (still dupes 🥲)

I built HackerTab, a custom new-tab page designed for bug bounty hunters and security researchers. Stack: React 19, plain CSS (no UI library), Lucide icons, deployed on Vercel Repo: https://github.com/Its-Abhinav-Jangid/new_tab...

Building the landing screen in plain html, css and JS Edit: I really loved Minecraft fonts since I was a child, so while building this portfolio I choose a font similar to Minecraft fonts. Also I searched the web and went through quite a lot of portfolios and I really like the 3d portfolios and the arcade type portfolios so I decided to combine them for my portfolio.
Made work modal card using mainly javascript and css
Made the Story page
Built some 3d temple with stary background
Made the lions/cats at the entrance of the temple. Also added sound effects. I love cats ! Everybody who knows me knows that I am a big cat lover and many of my social media bios say ailurophile , so I decided to keep cats at the main entrance of my portfolio.
Made the scene beautiful The background was already stary, so I decided to make it space themed
Rewrote the whole code again as some of it was being AI flagged. Encountered some errors which i couldn’t solve myself so i am sorry that I used some AI again
