Devlogs:
I have made a level select screen, a character the frog and level 1s begening with gravity, adding movement next
This is cool, i found out levels can be made with code maps like this in arduino ide, im making the specific 10 levels with their designated ponds or finish lines!
I added spikes, a nicer menu, starting squares, ending squares, fixed land problems, i want to add npcs like goombas from mario next, this is my friends level for the game! any ideas for what next other than npcs?
Finished the 2d platformer
Ships:
I made a 2d platformer like mario for the cardputerADV, it is super fun and challenging and i added lots of features from enemies to hard jumps. I struggled at the end due to the length of the code, i got a little lost. Have fun!...

Continued to branch and expand the paths of my space adventure, I have now added the first ending.
Not much else has been added, but I closed off a few paths and fixed some bugs in the code.

I had to handle things like flushing audio after someone stops speaking, preventing repeated triggers, and making sure the speech detector doesn’t murder its worker if something goes terribly wrong (this happened a lot). Privacy is still a big priority, too. Opting out now immediately stops your audio from being processed and clears your buffered audio, even if the bot was already listening. Sadly, speech detection isn’t consistent yet. In my testing, it works for some voices better than others, and it refused to work entirely for one of my friends. Thankfully, /clip is there as a manual fallback! If I continue working on this after Stardance, this is definitely where I’ll start. New features = new tests. There are now 71 in total, covering everything from audio sync and consent handling to exporting clips. These tests are isolated from Discord and Vosk, so passing them doesn’t necessarily mean a perfect product. Lastly, a good chunk of this time was spent on cleanup. We finally have a proper README with setup instructions, and a little demo video. (The clip duration will be configurable. 30s will be the default.) I’m making Clip That because I’ve had many moments where I wish I had been recording as my friends said something funny, so Clip That is my way of solving this problem. Discord’s new end-to-end voice encryption broke my original library of choice, py-cord , so I used Claude to research alternative, working libraries, leading me to a patched discord-ext-voice-recv commit. Currently, I have: An opt-in/out system where users can easily choose to not be recorded; A rolling 30 second buffer (only the last 30 seconds of audio are kept), stored entirely in memory, for each opted-in user; I learned I should use monotonic time instead of time.time() to avoid system time weirdness when hosting on NEST Manual /listen, /dump and /unlisten commands to control the bot’s actions (these will later be automated); SQLite database for keeping track of users’ consent status."}]...

It genuinely looks like a student hacker’s workbench. Also really happy with how the interactive vote button, prompt greeting, and secret build notes turned out! How to test it: Click the “VOTE FOR MY PROJECT” button to see the vote counter increment and trigger the alert! Click the “Say Hi!” button to enter your name. Scroll down and click “Click to view Priyanshu’s secret build notes” to reveal the hidden hardware story! I decided on a Cyberpunk-inspired aesthetic: an alarm clock featuring a Seeed Studio XIAO ESP32-C3, 4 mechanical keyboard switches for tactile controls (Hour, Minute, Snooze, Mode), a piezo buzzer for custom chiptune alarm melodies, and an 8-pin header for the 2.25” TFT screen. What I completed in this session: KiCad Setup & Library Config: Set up KiCad 10 and configured the Seeed Studio XIAO ESP32-C3 symbol and footprint libraries. Schematic Design: Placed and wired all components in the schematic editor. Used clean net labels for all signals ( SW_HOUR , SW_MIN , SW_SNOOZE , SW_MODE , BUZZER , TFT_SCL , TFT_SDA , TFT_DC , TFT_CS ). Mapped RST to 3.3V and BL to GND as recommended in the BLARE guide to save GPIOs. Ran ERC with 0 critical errors! PCB Layout & Outline: Transferred components to the PCB editor and drew a clean 95mm x 55mm board outline on the Edge.Cuts layer (well under JLCPCB’s 100mm limit). Component Placement: Aligned the 4 MX mechanical switches in a row with standard 19.05mm spacing for keycap clearance. Placed 4 M3 mounting holes in the corners for the 3D case, and flipped the ESP32-C3 and piezo buzzer to the back layer ( B.Cu ) so they will be neatly hidden inside the enclosure. 3D Inspection: Checked out the board in KiCad’s 3D viewer, and it looks super clean!
