AI that helps humans reverse diabetes, I am building a RAG which is trained on specific research papers, studies and data which I have collected across 10 months of research
Setebaid-AI is a huge project, and I can’t complete it till the end of stardance, so what Im trying to make is a desktop AI assistant replies in GEN Z slang. Rn I’m just learning and making a basic desktop assistant soon I will be upgrading it and using actual AI, instead of just some keywords spoken then do this type of thing.
Just learning some OOPS.....

MK1 the first test design for the top panel of my cyber deck very early design and will be subject to change. one problem I’m facing is the 3d printer that is available to me (its not mine its kinda like a rental) is to small to fit the whole panel so I will have to print it in separate parts and figure out a way to connect them.
Cut the panel in half, added dowels to connect them. next I plan on printing it and seeing what i can do to improve it
2 updates to the project, I 3d printed the MK1 top piece with varying success and modelled the MK1 base panel. after ages of waiting for the 3d printer I rent to be free I printed it, it fits the case and the components well (although the screen hole was a lot bigger than it needed to be) however I encountered 2 major errors 1. the dowels I used to connect the two half’s were to big and made gaps in the model, and 2. I may or may not have forgotten to turn supports on witched caused the model to sag a bit but it turned out ok in the end. Next I plan on printing the base panel and re-modelling the top panel.
Fixing old keyboard. the wires were broken near the connection points I performed a temporary twist and splice on the exposed wired I plan to solder a new cable later but for now it works!
MK2 Cyberdeck panel. I re-model MK1 to have a better fit for all of the components and rearranged them a bit however the Cyberdeck is looking empty and boring I am thinking of adding switches or possibly another screen but can think of what they will do, my plan is by the next model to decide what the theme should be by making some kind of mood board and then add things accordingly if you have any ideas please let me know in the comments.
Printed the base for my Cyberdeck. I plan on printing it very soon.
I finished! After a lot of work and tears a I have finished my cyberdeck! I am ready to ship my project thank you all for the support and good luck with your projects.

I started this project before I knew about Stardance, so “record” PCB #1 was done beforehand. Today, I finished routing it, and copied and changed it slightly to make “record” PCB #2. After a ton of angry DRCs, file location problems, and messy wiring, I now have 2 ready to print record PCBs!! 🎉🎉 I don’t know if I will order them now or later lol. But they’re ready! Coming next, making big mama “player” pcb. well see how that goes lol. This was supposed to be the easy part, and we alr had a mountain of problems. Anyway, heres “record” 2! Record 1s wiring is very ugly, lowk looks like camo pattern??? but yeah my lil pcbs so cuteeee
Hello and welcome to devlog #2 of the PCB record player!! Say hello to big mama player PCB. It’s got a raspberry pi pico, a ws2812 led light strip, and some holes for the pogo pin connector which I will buy off of amazon. I’m going to try to simulate all of the designs virutually through tinkercad or smth cuz im lazy lol, and I expect this to be a highly iyerative process, and I don’t want my room full of faulty pcbs lol. but yeah heres my ugly pcb. Ik the pico is in a weird spot, i hope that doesnt cause too many problems, but if it does I’ll expect it to be an easy fix. Next up, simulating and firmware!
tiny devlog (mostly a rant) I HATE WOKWI idk if im doing this wrong but i decided to simulate my pcbs before i physically create them. i did my reseach and wokwi came up. so i tried it today. first off all, the part lib is SO SMALL. no eeprom no capacitors(????) I was able to get the code for the eeprom online, and kinda ignore the capacitor. then i found myself doing the routing allll over again. if only there was a software that would let me upload my kicad files and simulate from there. ill prob actually do my firmware later today, id be disappointed in my self if i procrasinated further. ps, i imported a bread board to test before i did my actual led strip, didnt go well...

gang i wrote so much but there’s an error so it didnt get sent im gonna cry. not very epik yet but give it like 10 more hours i did: styling finding images making windows draggable designing bottom dock but it still can’t work yet challenges: sigh im a little rusty in programming in general not sure where to put the app state and what information so i struggled hard with that unfamilarity with vue
things i did: rewrote useDrag logic to use the useAppsState file and limit dragging only in the viewport wrote useResize logic (only can resize one way because i suck at it and im not motivated to do this) define useAppState, wrote function to modify for useAppState i think i have it figured out… it should be in a global AppsState kinda thing. At first i tried separating them into app info and the state of it eg. open closed, size position etc but i got confused so even though its not good practice i just… smashed them all together i feel im getting impatient / losing motivation for this project but i don’t know… this is so random but v-bind is so insane as a beginner vue developer omgomgomgomgo-
ok it really is coming together (very slowly) things i did: desktop now renders open/maximized windows on screen dynamic modal positioning for search and calendar fullscreen toggle adjust wallpaper images (lowkey the hardest part i can’t seem to find any good high quality landscape pics and i am too lazy to edit one) i was so happy when the windows appeared i can’t believe that i could do this !! now i need to list out the icons on the screen and make all the APPS!!!
i built a browser app with two tabs! and the links are their stuff on another page! i also showed icons on the desktop using grid css because I may want to make them organizable in the future…
dang i lost my streak but yes i made notes app using tiptap package gallery app but its more of a scroll thing enjoy i will work on a start screen and then… maybe one more app…
i am so happy what has changed: settings app with dark and light mode and can change background new start screen new cursor i feel so delighted when the dark/light mode thing worked because embarrassingly i have never successfully implemented one before
yay updates: terminal app with 9 commands and good formatting!! you can upload custom wallpapers now!! i now know how to use the pre html tag… wow. also its my first time trying to setup a terminal like app that includes cycling pass through past commands and displaying output histrory correctly. there’s like a bug that doesn’t automatically scroll down towards the bottom and that makes me sad because i can’t fix it but other than that i think its good hehe
what ive done logic for the music player when i first started this i thought it wouldn’t take long but it did… and i haven’t finished styling yet so it looks really bad… so why it took so long was at first i tried searching up to use spotify, but realised only premium members can select track so never mind… then i considered storing all the songs in a file storage server but i felt bad downloading the songs so i explored other options… so i went to search up how other WebOS does their music player and the ariana grande one used the youtube API so i looked into it… thanks it worked!! ok so after it worked, i tried to separate them into composable and smaller components because it got too messy on one file and that’s where i spent so much time on this… now im gonna style this better…

probably the final devlog i did some small animations!! i saw a youtube video about framer motion and i decided to try it… i like its declarative approach and usage of animation props!! so yum i also made a context manager i think thats so cool too i made a guide app for people who may need more guidance in navigating the app i added skip and next buttons for my music web player yup!

Devlog -2 Hi again, Here is the second page of my portfolio site it took me a long time to get a clean site lmk if you have any feedbacks or suggestions!!
Devlog3- I added a navigation bar for all pages which looks really neat and it took me a lot of time to add media queries to make the website have a good UI in mobile phones or tablets. This taught me a lot and I’m starting to realize AI cannot replace humans after all. I feel its the same as mathematics, we have AI to do the math for us but we dont rely on it blindly. Moreover, I made individual pages for the websites with the same template idea and I also finished up on the experience page. This is my first project and I am so excited to share the end result which I will post in Devlog4.
Devlog 4- Finished the designs for every single page, made research connect to my research paper and added cool visual effects in my social media page Also, media queries took me a lot of time which makes it look extremely clean on smaller devices

However, now the layout automatically re-sequences serial numbers perfectly when tasks are added or deleted, handles missing dates gracefully, and looks really sharp with its dark green styling, so I hope you all give it a try at least once and maybe suggest some improvements!
Changed UI completely, added a create button, input element to enter name and save button for confirmation. Key features: Input box and save disappear and only appear when create is clicked and disappear after saving (does not recognize null value) For now it saves it in an array which I have stored in local storage, in the future will add a remove button to remove the contents of the array and ill add the array names to the list sequentially.

Hello, a very basic devlog: I added a ‘Do you want to delete’ Confirmation message alongside changed the entire preview and UI of the website so it looks neat and awesome
Added a green tick button which you can click after finishing a task and the text turns cut off after clicking on the green button it took some time but it looks neat and worth it

Multiple silent issues relating to environment setups, structural naming conventions, parameter passing, spy lifecycle management, and directory relative routing were identified and resolved. Problems Tracked & Fixed The testing runner dashboard initially displayed a grey status bar reporting zero specs found. This occurred because Jasmine in the browser runs entirely through explicit scripts, and the newly added test suites were living in isolation without being linked via script modules to the central test DOM harness. This was resolved by synchronizing the tests HTML file explicitly with the current directory tree using modular script references for the money, cart, and order summary tests.Execution of the cart addition tests also resulted in failures returning unexpected NaN values. The root cause was that the underlying application logic signature reads two parameters, but the test suites were passing only a singular product identification string parameter. Lacking the second parameter caused the quantity argument to fall back to undefined, evaluating to NaN during quantity compounding arithmetic. The unit tests were refined to mock and pass explicit numbers as the second operational argument. The test execution crashed further on a runtime evaluation due to a type error stating that properties of null could not be set. This stemmed from dual semantic bugs in the DOM selectors, specifically a missing class identifier literal dot during test setup, and a leading whitespace syntax combined with an invalid selector dot inside raw HTML class assignments. The code was resolved by restructuring string interpolations to leverage native selector patterns cleanly.Mismatched pointer evaluations between local mock expectations and object definitions previously caused failures. This was driven by a divergence in the key casing strategy between lowercase and uppercase definitions. The codebase was validated to strictly adhere to Pascal-case Quantity properties within all internal data dictionaries to safeguard consistency across both mocking and output testing assertions. The testing suite encountered a cross-suite spy failure where the framework reported that the localStorage setItem method had already been spied upon. This state pollution occurred because spies were persisting across different test specs without being cleared, causing subsequent initialization hooks to collide. This was resolved by implementing an afterEach cleanup mechanism that resets the calls on the localStorage spies, alongside a teardown function that unmounts and wipes the sandbox HTML test container.System Health: Current State All nine specifications have successfully registered and passed across the test framework. State leakage between consecutive component renders has been mitigated by appending container-teardown functions and resetting global mocks. Devlog UpdateI upgraded my functional payment summary module to feature dynamic data rendering and accurate cost calculations, which allows users to view real-time totals, shipping costs, and estimated taxes based on their actual cart contents. As a beginner learning JavaScript, the most challenging part of development was troubleshooting silent data bugs caused by strict case-sensitivity in object properties, such as accidentally referencing cartItem.Quantity instead of cartItem.quantity, which broke the math operations with NaN values. We completely overhauled the checkout system’s date calculation and architecture by shifting away from fragile, hardcoded date jumps and manual DOM targeting. To meet the business rules for delivery options, we implemented an isWeekend utility and a day-by-day while loop that dynamically skips Saturdays and Sundays, ensuring shipping timelines stay perfectly accurate relative to weekends. Throughout the build, we ran into and fixed several tricky JavaScript edge cases, like catching case-sensitivity crashes where cartItem.Quantity broke data binding, declaring implicit globals to prevent local variables from leaking between layout generation loops, and adding safe fallback defaults for unassigned delivery option IDs. By stripping out tightly coupled element selectors from our quantity updates and converting the logic to a clean, true MVC structure where data mutations trigger a complete structural re-render (renderOrderSummary() and renderPaymentSummary()), the application now maintains flawless UI synchronization and data syncing completely on the fly.
Session Overview The primary goal of this sprint was to implement end-to-end integration testing for the checkout lifecycle and clean up crashing behaviors across existing modules, including the cart and currency formatting utilities. Multiple silent issues relating to environment setups, structural naming conventions, parameter passing, spy lifecycle management, and directory relative routing were identified and resolved.
