Starting off with my “Tap Pad”. This is a programmable keypad which makes repetitive tasks easier. It will make tasks like going deep into one spceific folder, finding one specifc exe file and then running it easier with just a tap on the “Tap Pad”. Or use it with OBS with different setups for different kinds of recording and many more tasks can be simplified with it….
Finished with the pcb, had to restart multiple times while routing and had to take help of free routing to route all the connections on my PCB
Made the 3d model. Started off by learning the basics of fusion and made my way through making the 3d model
TapPad will not only be a macro pad but at also a media controller through the rotary switch, as well as a status indicator through the customizable OLED display.
I have made the firmware and have given some finishing touches to the case. Making the firmware was a bit confusing, but with a little bit of help from internet and AI, I managed to make the firmware
Today I was trying to assemble all the components, then I realised that the lid of my case is not right since the placement of all holes did not match with the PCB. I redesigned the case and assembled it again. Now the rotary switch and OLED display are too tall and overlap with the lid. The project is Shipped!! I added spaces and holes for the overlapping display and rotary. It is a bit congested but it works. Let’s hope for the best now.
BUILT! I recieved the kit yesterday and finished the build! then I flashed the firmware, everything worked except the oled display, it was glitched. I tried fixing, it worked in simplified tests but did not work with qmk. TapPad is complete! You should customize the Tappad keymap.py file and run it with python on system startup to customize what each button on the TapPad does. I hope you are enjoying this journey. Devlog 3 I made a simple 3D for the switchboard plate. It has holes to place the LEDs, push buttons and rotary. The buttons and rotary will also be 3D printed. The plug socket will be stuck behind it. Next I need to add screw holes to mount it and a border.
Devlog 4 Finished the 3D model I just finished with the 3D model. I have made the complete base with borders. I measured the position of screw holes in my current switchboard and placed the screw holes in this accordingly. However I don’t know how do I hide these screw holes. I just added these circular caps. It is not the best solution so if you have any ideas on how can I cover the screw holes then pls tell me in comments. I also made and initialised the github repo.
Devlog 5 README! Made a Readme specifying the entire project and also a Bill Of Materials (BOM). The firmware part is still left though.
Devlog 6 Made a simple webpage Today I made a simple html and css page which will be used to control the devices. It just has a title and a few buttons in a grid. Later I will map javascript functions to actually control them.
Devlog 7 Completed the Firmware The firmware is also ready!!! I made the firmware through which you could control the 4 relays mapped to 3 lights and a socket with either the webserver or the physical buttons. The led lights would respond accordingly. The rotary will be used to control my smart fan via an IR blaster API. Right now it might not be he best but I will improve and fix bugs once I get the hardware.
Built! I made the switchboard. I came up with one issue only. The led are 2mm wide so its basically not possible to solder them. other than that it works
Ships:
I have made the smart switchboard, it makes the non smart devices in the room actually smart. I faced a few challenges. Mainly the led lights, they were 2mm wide and I could not solder them at all. 2nd the switches. I wanted to order buttons but I ordered buttons which toggle. however this was as easy fix I just stuck some cardboard on the bottom so they don’t go all the way in and it worked. now I didn’t install it completely because it’s a rented place and mounting was way complicated then it is supposed to be so I just connected and tested with one of the bulbs in my room....

To fix this we understand that the ratio between the distance of my wrist and the point right where the pinky finger starts and the distance between fingers is always constant (because the palm never bends so it gives us a reference point to calculate distance) , even when I move hand closer or far away. so that’s what I did, I calculated the ratio and used it as the distance which you can also see in the video below. You can zoom into planets, check out moons, watch asteroids move, and just kinda “float” around the universe in real time. It pulls all its data directly from official NASA sources, so everything you’re seeing is actually legit and updated, not random internet stuff. You can click on any planet or space object and instantly get all the details—like what it’s made of, how far it is, what’s happening around it, and even cool mission info. It also shows a copy of real-time movement of planets and space events,(random, it calculate the movement of planet in the following way- my planets around the sun is definately not real -time but in same proportional ratio as I found on NASA(in simple terms for example if Earth takes 365 1/4 day to revolve around the sun , my project take the data for how much time earth take and compare it to other planets and then make them revolve around with same proportional speed and distance )) (and the mission are devloped with the help of AI -I take data from the NASA and I try to take only those missions which I can perfectly display in terms of their position (from where they started and to where )and this part I took help of AI (chatgpt to be specific )and it helped me display a perfect spacepath of that mission using js .) so i try to make the whole thing feels alive instead of static. i am currently just working on it and plz share your thought and ideas how could i make it even better . I tried my best with this project .I hope u like it !! make sure to give me feedback !! things used and their sources languages used- 1-HTML (major) 2-CSS 3-JAVA SCRIPT Images and their sources 1- the background image of the landing page-it was found on google and I had my heart over it but I could not find it again so I had to use AI to create one on the based of my memory (yep I gave it prompt on the basis of my memory and the real image’s credit goes to their owner (sadly I can’t remember)) 2-the images used for planets for their yk.. texture is from NASA and it is fitted into circular frames which revovle around in their respective orbits 3- the images used in the info panel has also been taken from official NASA uploaded images as in the form of ${imageBase} text based database and the mission trajectory projections 1- all the information comes from my database which contain information from YK.. NNNAAASSSAAA….. 2-the paths projected for space missions are yk.from nasa cause bro why not?!?! but the thing here is that I only found some yk information and I had to take help of AI to create their trajectory AI usage declaration 1- as mentioned above I used AI for creating the first landing page background and then the trajectory of space missions 2-I also used AI for debugging and took it’s help with errors witch occured in dry running of my codes thank you note !! You are either here for reviewing my project or rating my project , and I sincerely hope that my project meet your expectations and I want to thank you for everything you have done in my favour !! HELLO GUYSS!!!! this is my third update on STELLAROS and i now think ite finally completed . i’ve added pop-ups of information when you click them and even added the moon when u click a planet with moon . and fixed some bugs that even created a mess with my code . i hope you all enjoy it . i’d really like a feedback and it has been the longest time taking part of the project .
hiiii !!!!! now i have just connected my this project with my OS and each and everything is workin’ and this is just how I IMAGIENED IT !!!!

HEY !!!! CAN YOU SEE THE STARTS ?!?! IS IT GLOWY ENOUGH ??!!??
HEY GUYS !! todays update - I think my idea was messy and thus no possible outcome was drawn out of my this coding session . i think my idea to make it go even further into solarsystem and present all the data that humans possibly know (basic ) bout them had BACKFIRED ME !! cause it is really getting messy and i even did changes in my code i hope its sorted
hi guyss once upon a time i had my original road map for stellar but there were errors and errors and more errors so guess we have to stop this project (also that i have a major event in school comming up -EXAMS !! ) but ill try do little by little more changes , more functions and i guess my following devlogs from this one gonna talk bout how to fix mistakes and i guess you all are working fine with your projects !!
HI GUYS !! this time i think i have a sad news to deliver - that i messed my whole code and it took 5 hr to sort things out , according to my AI teacher my biggest bad habit is that i try to make things short and easy and in the hasle of making things short i mess the things pretty bad (yes i have AI as an optional subject in school ) so i guess that in the next devlog i come here with a good new !! MAY YOU HAVE A HAPPYDAY !! and English is not my first language , so forgive me for grammatic error ! THANK YOU !! BYE !!!
guys!! i tried updating this application and this is a modified version of stellaros Imagine a place where you can literally explore the entire solar system like it’s Google Maps, but for space. AND PEOPLE OFTEN GET CONFUSED THAT IT IS A OPERATING SYSTEM BUT NO!! ITS A INTERACTIVE WEBS.. !!...
