I connected Google Gemini to the backend so that photo proofs can be checked before a quest is accepted. If the uploaded image matches the quest, the user receives XP and the related stat is increased. If the image does not match, the quest is rejected and no XP is awarded. I also added AI-generated narration after a quest is completed. Instead of using fixed messages, Gemini now creates a short encouraging sentence based on the completed quest. This message is saved with the completion and shown to the user after finishing a quest. On the frontend, I built a new quest completion modal. Users can now choose whether to submit a photo or a text proof. The modal shows an image preview for photo uploads, validates text submissions, displays any verification errors, and shows the XP earned together with the AI-generated narration after a successful completion."}, {"post_id": 21999, "ts": "2026-07-04T07:06:18Z", "hours": 4.7292, "text": "Today I worked on the core quest system of Rize and connected the frontend with the backend. I created API routes to load quests, load the player’s character stats, and complete quests. When a quest is completed, the backend now gives XP, updates the correct stat, increases the total XP, and recalculates the player’s level automatically. On the frontend, I built the main dashboard layout and replaced the placeholders with real data from the backend. The quest list now loads all available quests, the stats section shows the current values with progress bars, and I added a basic journal section that will be expanded later. I also connected the quest cards so clicking on one completes the quest and immediately updates the stats without reloading the page. I spent some time testing everything to make sure the full flow was working correctly. By the end of the day, the main gameplay loop was working: quests can be completed, XP is awarded, stats increase, and the character levels up based on the total XP. This gives me a solid base before adding AI verification and the other features in the next phases."}, {"post_id": 20602, "ts": "2026-07-02T07:26:39Z", "hours": 2.1053, "text": "Today I finalized the idea for my project after exploring a few different concepts. I’m an introvert and an only child, so I sometimes struggle to stay motivated, step out of my comfort zone, and maintain good habits. I wanted to build something that would make self-improvement feel more fun and rewarding, not like another boring to-do list.I also finalized the tech stack I’ll be using: React for the frontend, Python (FastAPI) for the backend, SQLite for the database, and Gemini for the AI features. Since I’m still learning and don’t have a lot of experience building projects of this scale, I’ve been using AI occasionally to brainstorm ideas, understand concepts, and get unstuck when I run into problems. I’m treating it as a learning tool while making the design decisions and building the project myself. Most of today’s progress was spent planning instead of coding. I organized the core features, decided how the progression system would work, and created a development roadmap so I have a clear direction before I start implementing everything.
Today I worked on the core quest system of Rize and connected the frontend with the backend. This gives me a solid base before adding AI verification and the other features in the next phases.
Today I worked on adding the AI features to the Rize quest system. The modal shows an image preview for photo uploads, validates text submissions, displays any verification errors, and shows the XP earned together with the AI-generated narration after a successful completion....

Hello welcome to devlog #1, this is a project i made a year ago im pretty sure and i have decided to improve it, I added the minecraft font to it, and added a custom theme system if people wanted to change the theme!
helloooo welcome to devlog #2, today I made a small menue for customizing the overlay, I also made a file type called .ks which is just a zipfile with the font and the theme.json file. I plan to make a readme explaining how to make a font and I also made an example theme on the github. I got sidetracked and added a overlay size, and a thing where you can choose which elements to show. Along with that, I added the ability to hide the menu and lock the overlay with Alt+F3, I might change the keybind because its awfully close to Alt+F4 which I know most of you guys know what that does.
Hello devlog #3, I was about to seperate everything into multipel scripts for organization, but realized that would be annyoing to compile (I plan to compile it with nutika which translates everything to C then compiles it), I added easier customization instead of having to have a theme file, 2 modes advaced (everything) and simple (basic colors). The advanced mode basically lets you make your own theme so i decided to add a export as .ks option. To address the “Alt+f3 is too close to Alt+f4” problem, I added a Hotkey rebinding system. I added many other features like RGB Mode, as seen in the screenshot but im too lazy to show you all of them so go check my github. OH and I also added a Readme which explains everything, I plan to update the installation part which just explains how to use the python thing. Thanks for reading!
Hi guys im finally done the last part, I have added an auto fetch system that gets file from my repo if it detects that any needed files are missing, I also figured out how to compile the app with nuitka (took me like 3 hours btw 😭)and github actions. I plan to ship it in a minute because I want to see if it works properly. Thanks for reading,
Fixed a bug where the menu wasnt showing up on windows
Stupid opengl wasnt working and it took me like a billio years trying to fix it so I decided to scrap the idea of using ImGui and try and replicate the look with PyQt5 which is what I made the actual overlay out of, other than that I didnt add anything, I plan to finally ship it and make a full release after its done compiling
Ships:
HELLO, this is one of my old projects I made quite a while ago to solve a lasting issue in gaming, as we all know, if ur too good at a game u are automatically cheating unless you prove it, my overlay, KeyStrokes, solves that and shows that ur not cheating, this project was originally supposed to be for specifically Windows but I decided to make it for everything. If you want to try it you can download it in my Github RIGHT NOW. If you have any issues please make a new issue in my Github RIGHT NOW. And start gaming RIGHT NOW with KEYSTROKES. Happy gaming (RIGHT NOW)...

Hi this is day number 2. Today I did the second part of the tutorial which was making the case in on shape, this was definitely the hardest part as I have never used this program before and my PC kept freezing up and crashed at some point. Yo i lowk finished the PCB and the case and it looks hella tuff, it took me like 5 hours because my pc kepts freezing up and I didnt understand stuff but in the end i finally got it working with no DRC errors or anything. Im gonna start working on the FW now.
Lowk just finished the FW. It wasnt that hard and the VSCode autofill thing helped alot with typos. All the firmware does it use a radio library to set the freqencys and handle the power button and knob thingy. The 4 errors are because intelisense was not working properley and marked my libarys as not found, but thats not an issue. Once I get all the items I am gonna start building it and improve the firmware a ton. I plan to add modes to switch the knob between volume and frequency. Rn the volume is hardcoded and knob is frequency because its more important.
relalized the tutorial uses CircutPython which is kinda annoying but wasnt that hard of a fix because the library is easy to understand but its still annoying :(...
