I think I finished my menu. IDK
I think I acomplished something. Am just not fully sure what I’m doing. Still haven’t decided what the actual gameplay loop would be but I’m getting there.
I added tung tung tung sahur and a whip animation i guess. I don’t really know how to record it on a mac so it doesn’t really look like I accomplished much in the screenshot, but I did do stuff.
now tung tung tung sahur can move now. the whip also has audio.
I added a mute button and now you can move the camera....

HELLOOOO Everyone im here with a new fresh devlog!! so today i started with the hard part first , the pcb designing cause even though the pcb is harder but i like to do it more than making the cad 😒…. so yeah today i started with the keyboard part where i made the schematics of the keyboard’s pcb where its a basic 50 keys mechanical keyboard using the low profile choc keys probably the V1.. , a mini oled screen for playing cool bongo cat animation a joystick for navigating instead of the external mouse or the track pad with two buttons (right and left click ) just like the mouse which will be placed at the grip of the deck !! and finally everything powered by the rpi pico !!! so next i will move to placing these components properly inn the place then wiring them up in the pcb editor + assigning footprints etc !! till then BYE BYE
Hello !! new devlog here , so today i starded with the traces and the routing part of the pcb , it took bit long and also once i accedently closed my kicad without saving it but yahh so i added all the cad to the footprints , first it took a long to find the cad for this but thanks to the ( https://github.com/joe-scotto/scottokeebs ) he’s a youtuber of which i followed guide while making the pcb , there was resources too so overall i think the keyboard looks good but there was a problem that normal keyboard has the “row-staggered layout” but because of low space for the keys , i used the “row-staggered layout” which will for sure affect the typing experience for this but its fine cause i will adjust it and use it anyway and because of the “row-staggered layout” we saved some space and now moving forward i will start making the cad stuff now !! Today I started my first project in KiCad. I tried to follow the guide, but I ran into several issues because it is probably written for another version of KiCad. I had to google how to install the footprints and symbols, move the parts around, add the board outline, and so on. After figuring those out I finished my schematic and routed connections in PCB editor.
Today I designed a case for my hackpad in Fusion 360. I followed the guide to create the base, sides, and lid with the switches holes. I also added a usb cutout. This was my first time using Fusion 360, so I had to figure out the tools I used and make a lot adjustments along the way.
I spent the last couple of days figuring out how to add 3D models into fusion 360. I had trouble finding downloadable models and I eventually exported them from orpheuspad example and added them to my project. Then I arranged the models and started working on a new case. I also need to update pcb to match the new design.
I updated my schematic and placed all new parts on the pcb to match the new case design. I spent a lot of time to route everything and making sure all the connections fit with the new layout but it’s finally finished. Next I will continue working on the case and assembly.
I added my new PCB to the Fusion project and aligned it with the components and sketches for the new case. I reworked the sketches several times to make sure everything lines up and fits correctly, then continued working on the case and assembling the components. The case is almost done, but I still need to add a hole for usb port and screws to hold pcb and case parts together.
I finally finished my new hackpad case. I added a hole for the USB port using orpheuspad as an example, then added mounting screw holes and an additional angled plate at the bottom. I also added M3 mounting hole to my PCB and matched it in the case so the PCB can be securely fastened now. The only thing left is the firmware.
I finished up my hackpad. I wrote the firmware in QMK with some help from ChatGPT for coding and debugging. Then I fixed a mounted point in PCB, organized my project files, and generated production files. Everything is now organized and ready for submission!...
