Learning and making a project in godot for the first time with this game. I already have a bare bones prototype of this project in unity, but since godot’s design system is vastly different(atl for me), porting and refining the project while learning will take some time
Made a 3 levels and interactables, along with completing the ghost respawning system with interactions
Changes Made a small animation in the title screen where the background slides with user selected option Updated the code for tutorial panel Started working on designing the tutorial
Changes Finished tutorial slides Started work on the options menu Will need to complete functionality, and sync with the preferences save file. Might also make a controls menu to change keybinds.
Completed options functionality Changes Made the config dictionary global Made the options menu functional by saving to file and loading on game start Updated readme
Changes Fixed minor volume and playing issues in Music Player autoload script Downloaded and added Background Music for title screen and levels, with fade effects Added a few preliminary sound effects Future Update Confirm that the BGM loops properly Add a pause overlay, with return to title screen button (minecraft?) More sound effects Add a portal animation Update tilemap textures in levels...

I just created the basic design. Now I’ll begin with the movement.
I made the Rock movement. I think the rest will go faster, but we’ll see
I finally made this stupid bishop movement. It took 2 hours, because I was just too dumb to do it right :(
I’m finished with all the movements. Now I’ll add an eventListener and then we’re nearly done
I added an eventListener so you can move the figures in the game. Next I’ll edit to take the pieces. So see you :)
I’ve now added the capturing of pieces. All that’s left are the special moves for the pawn and king, and checkmate-then I’ll be finished.
I added the winning when you take the king.
I have added pawn promotion, so that when a pawn reaches the opposite side of the board, it can now be promoted to any piece of the player’s choice. With that, I have completed the project. It was a really enjoyable project, and I’m already looking forward to the next one. See you :)
While playing the game, I noticed that the transformed pieces couldn’t capture the opponent’s pieces-they could only capture pieces from their own side. I had to track down the bug, fix it, and now it’s resolved.
Ships:
I have developed a chess game that includes all standard pieces, special moves such as castling, and the game currently ends when the king is captured rather than detecting checkmate according to the official chess rules....

FocusBuddy V1 is complete. Here is the overview Tracker Focus Buddy is a productivity tool that helps students start focus sessions and understand how focused they were during that time. During a session, Focus Buddy classifies the user’s time into four states: focused, distracted, uncertain, and away. It does this by using webcam frames together with the task the user is working on. For example, if the task is “read a biology chapter,” the AI uses both the webcam frame and the task name/description to decide whether the user appears to be on task. I also built a browser extension that can optionally give Focus Buddy more context from the active tab. For example, if the task is “write an essay,” the extension can share the active website title and URL. This helps the AI make a more accurate prediction because it can compare what the user said they wanted to do with what they are actually doing. Session Debrief, Daily Unwind, and Weekly Unwind For the session debrief, Focus Buddy saves the session data and then generates an AI debrief. This debrief explains what happened during the session and gives practical feedback for next time. It points to specific moments from the session instead of giving generic advice. The daily unwind uses information from all the sessions recorded that day to give a general overview of what happened. During each session, the model records important changes in the user’s state. For example, if a user shifts from working on an essay to watching YouTube, the model can note that change. These state changes are then used as context for the daily unwind. The daily unwind also compares the user’s focus level for that day with their recent average. For example, if the user’s average focus level over the past seven days was 80%, but they recorded 62% today, the model can give encouraging advice while still pointing out the main distractions or struggles from the day. | The weekly unwind works similarly, but it looks at a longer period of time. I also implemented a pattern document that stores general patterns about the user. These patterns can be affirmed or updated by the model after each session. The weekly unwind uses this information to give a recap of the week, including average focus levels, the user’s most focused days, and insights into their focus habits. Plan Feature The next feature I built is the plan feature. This allows the user to plan out their day before starting their work. They can pick tasks, schedule them for specific times, estimate how difficult each task will be, and estimate how long each task will take. Based on this information, the AI can suggest the best times to work on certain tasks using patterns it has learned from the user. This step is completely optional, especially because this feature is still being optimized to provide better suggestions."}, {"post_id": 9651, "ts": "2026-06-16T01:51:48Z", "hours": 5.7564, "text": "Started working on a productivity tool called focus buddy. I currently have a basic landing page with the ability to create tasks and a calendar for session review. When you go into a session the project takes information from the webcam and then it using the Gemini 3.5 flash model along with with the context of the task description and task name assigns one of 4 labels: focused, away, unfocused, and uncertain. Also added a analytics page where you can see your previous sessions + dark mode."}]...

Devlogs:
Started working on a productivity tool called focus buddy. Also added a analytics page where you can see your previous sessions + dark mode.
Devlog #2. This step is completely optional, especially because this feature is still being optimized to provide better suggestions.
devlog #3 I have added leagues into the app. I have different leagues based on how many focused hours you have done. I am hoping this will motivate more people into spending more time on this app and in turn being more productive in their life!
Devlog #4 I added a goal feature that allows you to make goals and uses the AI to track the goals and see how well you are doing for the goals
Ships:
I made a focusCoach that uses your webcam along with aboutme context + taskName + taskDescription + tab extension to figure out if you are focused or not. The tab extension won’t be available for you guys because it requires me to sign up for google developer account, but besides that the project should still work well. The project has multiple features like a plan feature, AI session debriefs, weekly and daily unwinds, and much more. It is pretty intuitive so try out the project for yourself!!. Also be aware that I am on the free trial of google studio so if the prediction doesn’t work for you that could just mean I have hit my rate limit. Anyway have fun!!!
A all in one AI-powered productivity system....

first time using html! kind of nice to see how it works + first draft of my site, still need to work on testing a bunch of things and figuring out how I want to design the site getting git setup took a bit of time but it was definitely worth it
devlog 2 something I think HC does is that they underestimate how long I can take on these projects, ~2 hours turns into something like 5-6 hours I’ve learned a bit in these few hours, because there are things outside of hackatime that aren’t recorded 1. if you want your website to not end in .html, make a folder for it titled whatever you want and put index.html in there 2. you aren’t referring to the root folder when you refer to files inside those index.html’s so every .css file and image you refer to must come from inside that folder 3. while in development, don’t do this because then you’ll need to make seperate copies for everything i need to make anki flashcards for the syntax of everything because i just can’t remember the syntax for the life of me features that were made on the website: figured out the 3 pages I want to submit for the project: home, projects, and contact page made rough drafts for those sites that I will finish tomorrow to submit to the project
i came up with a design for my website– it’s going to be darkroom themed! i’m trying to figure out how to use css but it’s a struggle and i can barely figure out how divs work to try and make photograph-like shapes on the screen D: this process is slow but it’ll get quicker eventually i think :)
I’ve finished my rough draft for my site. I think some other things that I want require Javascript to run, so I’ll submit my site as is right now. Features added: added a viewer for my projects added my contact info fixed the direction of links
Ships:
I made my first draft of my personal site! This may not be a fully finished and polished draft, but it’s a start. The three main features it has for now are: home page projects page contact page It’s functional, but it doesn’t look very good, and not particularly navigable. I’ll be working to improve the looks of the site in the upcoming ships!...

Change the dataset from entirely scratch to Dolci-Instruct-SFT , then also add serializer ( src/utils/serialize.py ) to serialize the dataset into .txt file and then to train it with spm.SentencepieceTrain() ( src/utils/tspm.py ) also add bin.py to turn tokenized into token IDs for faster dataloder, also removed unnecessary file
Modify training configurations, pipeline and fix some error in src/model/mlp.py and src/model/rope.py
final: redesign the webpage for easier reach and interaction, also readjust the training pipeline as the old one have many flaws that the I myself couldnt get respond when testing, and it’s fixed ig

UI Scaffold - I initialised a next.js project and spent this time defining the style of the website. This included the greyscale palette, typography, and spacing. I then scaffoled the main page UI and refined it till I was happy with the result.
First category added - I added the first category to the website which could convert between differnt file formates such as audio formats, image formats, video formats, and archive formats like ZIP, RAR, and 7z. I am super happy with the look and it should now be easier to add in the rest!
Second Category - I added my second category which lets users modify and convert text. They can decode and encode text, slugify and even use morse code…
Colours category** - I added a category which can do operations with colours such as RGB to hex and generic colour name like bliue to more specific formats like RGB and hex and HSV.
This time I made 2 categories as they were quick andeasy to create… I made a units converter and a number/base converter as well… I’m getting used to this now and I should be able to finsih the remaining 3 in like 5hrs now 😅
Okay this took wayy too long but I finally finished the remaining categories. The currency category can, obviously be used to convert currencies. (it works by using USD as the base currency). Date and time cateogry can calculate age and time difference.
I made Formatly easier to use. I added a quick search box you can open with Command+K or Ctrl+K to jump straight to any tool. Finally, I added SEO (all generated with ChatGPT bcz I’m not bothered to write it myself) and finally replaced the old Next.js favicon with the website’s logo.
I made the README file and I also fixed some things for deployment to Cloudflare Pages!! I’m officially done with this project!
