No installation or build steps are required. To test the Auto-Detect: Copy a JWT token or some JSON, and press Ctrl+V anywhere in the app (while no input is focused). Fingers crossed that it works and doesn’t get lost in the mail! 1 Main Board: This will hold the main brain, power supply, and extra expansion pins on the side for future upgrades. I chose the CY8C20437 chip, which can sense 25 touchpads at once and sends the data over I2C. The I2CProblem: Since all 8 playing fields use the exact same chip, they all share the same I2C address. To stop them from overriding each other, I added an I2C Multiplexer on the main board to control them one by one. Devlogs:
Added more of my recent projects and games to the showcase, like PiShot, and Nucleo. Also styled the selected text, I didn’t even know that was possible. And updated the text in the header, and added a youtube channel link.
Added rotating profile images. Now a random one is chosen on every reload. Also made some minor changes to the header spacing and updated the LinkedIn link!
Fixed images in my blog that were lost due to the old HC CDN shutting down. Also changed the footer styling, and added a youtube link!
Got sidetracked and started making a cool readme! Got inspired by the terminal/neofetch styling, and made something like that (+ added some cool easter eggs and extras too). It’s not fully done, I still have some sections left to go, but I think the Greninja logo for the neofetch (ASCII art!), help section, and the curl for contacts is pretty cool! The hardest part was making the links work in a code block, because all Markdown is ignored in the “ ” tags. So had to use some HTML and pre tags to work around that!
Again worked on the README! Made a todo section for the stuff I am currently planning to work on, and a git stats section. Also added some Pokémon and books info for fun. And placed some easter eggs too, like a Konami code and an ASCII art train! And also a visitor counter, and a blinking cursor SVG at the end too!
Added a blog section to the main site and linked the blog post, tags and images from the blog site. Also updated the hero section with a new tagline and an Explore Projects button. Also improved the descriptions of all the project cards!
Changed the article section to include a dropdown for less relevant articles. And moved all images from CDNs to the local project folder. Also made the site more accessible by adding aria-lables, and removed a lot of dead code, mainly js code. Also, finally added a favicon!!
Restyled the blog cards, and made them larger. Also started working on a blog post for my custom raspberry pi camera: PiShot! I also moved all the images used in my blog to local from CDN.
Worked on the PiShot blog post! Compiled the post from my Highway and Reboot journal. Then downloaded all their images and re-linked them (I don’t want to rely on any CDNs). And added some introductory and ending paragraphs. Also styled the images so they look good side by side and fit well. Added a card for this new blog post on my site too.
Added a section for my Rune games, with their project cards and stats!! Also removed some unused JS and CSS code (some old animations and classes that no longer existed).
Edited the about me section, and added the “Some things I have done” part. Also changed the line colour for the particles.js background to be more greyish in light mode, for better contrast!
Added a new /resume page to my site! It has separate sections for intro, experience, projects, recognitions and skills. Will look for something to improve the background next, as it’s pretty plain right now.
Made a Convoy’s Game of Life background for the /resume page, with 2 fixed starting positions on the page, one at the left, and one at the top mid! Now the /resume page’s bakground doesn’t look too empty! And also added a link to my youtube and insta.
Worked on making the site look good on mobile! Did this by first removing extras like the scroll indicator and moving the top menu behind a hamburger button on mobile. Then used media queries to change the sizing of each element for smaller screens. Also removed some duplicated CSS code I found (again). I think it looks pretty good on mobile now!
Worked on lots of minor stuff and also added a stats section with Hackatime stats! Updated the blog page as well and added read time to each blog card!
Ships:
I updated my portfolio site! Added a blog section and redid the header. A lot of the site was outdated, so added more of my recent projects, and also due to the HC CDN change, a lot of the images were broke, so updated them too. And made a new blog post too for my custom camera, PiShot! I think the new blog section is really cool!
Created a new /resume page, where I curated all my experiences! Also created a Conway’s Game of Life background for that page (this was the hardest part because I had to feed it some points and get it to start there and not be completely random). I also calculated the read time for my blogs and added that to each blog’s card on the blog page. And I added a “stuff I have done” section to the portfolio! Hope you all like my portfolio!!...

Well here I am…. nix is hard but I love how delcative it is. most of the time I spend is reading the wiki and learning how to config things which is fun. I rearrage files and I also was able to config the look and feel of things for me.

Prototype is working, the app can officially detect all flatpak apps, filtering SDKs and runtimes. Time to do some polishing before the first ship
Discovered how to do colored text and spinners
First alpha right now! You can try it by downloading it in the “Try it” link on the page.
Started working on a GTK UI for the app, sadly it won’t count for the main project time because GNOME Builder is not supported

YOURS - DEVLOG 1, had finally started doing stuff this is the 1st project mainly focused on the mission give your website a pulse or something i forgot the Mission name tbh… Well what’s the progress? Had done Setuping basic stuff such as readme, vercel, git, GitHub, hackatime and all it took some time (or may be i was the lazy one, wo cares…) + started work on the project too had made html css and js files. in progress. Aiming to build a chess.com style reviewer. Using python-chess and stockfish to build this. Also any tutorials on the python chess lib other than the documentation? thanks
I would say I’m 85% done with the backend of the chess reviewer. I added move and game accuracy, WDL (Win/Draw/Loss) probability and some tactics detection like hanging pieces, loose pieces, and pieces en prise. I even managed to find publicly available equations that yield results similar to Chess.com. My next steps would be adding the basic classifications and tactics detection before adding gui.
Ok i dont really have a photo rn (using phone to type the devlog) but i’ve formatted, simplified and and created files to store all of the functions. All that’s left to do is add GUI. Ill prob add a photo tmr
Last but not least, the UI. I’ll be coding it using PySide6. Im currently still learning how to use the language.
Frontend 90% done. Using PySide6
Almost done! My attempt to program a chess.com style reviewer. It has the basic stats like evaluation, Classification, WDL and move accuracy. It also contains game accuracy and a SVG board where you can see your moves. It’s currently in its rawest form and I’ll improve the accuracy of the reviewer and add more useful feature to it.
Ok so apparently I have to write a final devlog before shipping so here’s what my next steps for the reviewer. 1. Improve the Game Accuracy and Classification function. 2. Find critical moments/moves where it heavily affected the game’s outcome. As for the frontend: Add next and previous move buttons. Add an interactable chess board where the player can change a move to see the different outcome. Obviously there’s more but these are the step ill prob take next.

The big problem was that because of the libary I am using (Swup) the text inside the markdown files wasn’t being rendered. I tried a bunch of solutions but the one that worked was to tell Swup not to care about the link to an article/project (eg. dont perform a transition). This way the browser performes a hard reset of the page. The only problem that was left is that then the header and footer dont display… Yeah, I just hardcoded them in everywhere😅. I did follow a youtube tutorial for the carousell (I’m not that good🥲) I already did this one time before so I just used that code. The about page I also designed the about page with some info, a quote and some aditional ‘focus cards’. Oh yeah, and the whole library thing… I basically wanted to make some cool page transitions (which I have never done before). So I figured I would just follow a quick tutorial on youtube about the Swup libary… aaandd that didn’t exactly work as planned. Turns out it was just my fault for completely following a 6y old tutorial that was using a previous v3 version of the libary. I was using the v4 in my code, which appairently works a bit differently. Devlog #7 adds a real file lifecycle : drop files on the desktop, get typed icons, double-click opens the right app. ROMs/audio/text route to Z-Retro, ZMusic, Editor, etc. Singleton apps swap files in one window (no duplicate WASM). Also: Z-Retro (NES/GB/GBA/NDS) with save/load states, save-game thumbnails, close prompt only while playing. Alt+Q window switcher. Glass theme (macOS vibrancy). Font scale 75–150%. Terminal zfetch . Snap layouts on window drag. What was hard Getting file open to feel like an OS — singleton re-init, drop-at-cursor icons, unknown-file fallback. Z-Retro save screenshots had to be captured before state serialize (otherwise black thumbs). Glass theme: frosted chrome vs readable inputs/emulator canvas. Font scale broke because html { font-size: 1rem } overwrote the root scale. What I’m proud of Desktop → VFS → app feels connected. Z-Retro library with save-state covers. Glass looks premium without killing readability. Still 100% client-side, no backend. How to test Live demo — Enter on login Drop a .gba or .mp3 on the desktop → icon appears → double-click opens Z-Retro / ZMusic Z-Retro: play a ROM → Save → back to library → thumbnail should match your save Settings → Glass theme + wallpaper; Appearance → font scale Alt+Q with several windows open → release Alt to switch Terminal: zfetch ~25% AI-assisted (CSS, integration, polish). No React; apps return DOM and plug into a kernel. Proud of: WebOS2 wave — real Doom (WASM + WAD sound lumps), office-ish apps without fake LibreOffice bookmarks, customizable dock (pin / unpin / drag reorder), and it still feels like my OS after the polish pass (VT323, rust accent, square chrome). Hard: Doom’s WASM has no audio API, so SFX come from extracted doom1.wad samples on fire/use/menu — not full engine sound. Big media can hit IndexedDB quota. Real LibreOffice can’t run client-side; Writer/Calc/Impress are thin stand-ins. Try it: https://ztionix-os.vercel.app/ — boot, hit Enter (no password). Ctrl+K for launcher. Drag dock icons to reorder. Open Doom and click the canvas once for sound. Import a video into ZVideo or snap a Photo Booth pic into /home/user/Photos .
What I made ZtionixOS — a browser fake desktop (boot → login → windows, dock, VFS). Devlog #7 adds a real file lifecycle : drop files on the desktop, get typed icons, double-click opens the right app. ROMs/audio/text route to Z-Retro, ZMusic, Editor, etc. Singleton apps swap files in one window (no duplicate WASM). Also: Z-Retro (NES/GB/GBA/NDS) with save/load states, save-game thumbnails, close prompt only while playing. Alt+Q window switcher. Glass theme (macOS vibrancy). Font scale 75–150%. Terminal zfetch . Snap layouts on window drag. What was hard Getting file open to feel like an OS — singleton re-init, drop-at-cursor icons, unknown-file fallback. Z-Retro save screenshots had to be captured before state serialize (otherwise black thumbs). Glass theme: frosted chrome vs readable inputs/emulator canvas. Font scale broke because html { font-size: 1rem } overwrote the root scale. What I’m proud of Desktop → VFS → app feels connected. Z-Retro library with save-state covers. Glass looks premium without killing readability. Still 100% client-side, no backend. How to test Live demo — Enter on login Drop a .gba or .mp3 on the desktop → icon appears → double-click opens Z-Retro / ZMusic Z-Retro: play a ROM → Save → back to library → thumbnail should match your save Settings → Glass theme + wallpaper; Appearance → font scale Alt+Q with several windows open → release Alt to switch Terminal: zfetch ~25% AI-assisted (CSS, integration, polish). Core OS/VFS/window manager mostly hand-written.
What I made ZtionixOS — a fake desktop in the browser. Boot, login, windows, dock, IndexedDB filesystem, and a pile of apps. No React. This round: Image Viewer, Hex Editor, Minesweeper, News, Voice Recorder. Weather, desktop calendar, screensaver, system tray. Zip import/export. Paint / Writer / Calc / Editor a bit less thin. rm -rf / bluescreens you. What was hard Making it feel like a place you hang out, not a demo with windows. Zip + VFS without blowing storage. Keeping apps simple but useful. Proud of It still feels like one OS. Drop a zip, it unpacks. Leave it open, screensaver kicks in. Same kernel pattern as day one. Try it https://ztionix-os.vercel.app/ — Enter on login, no password. (This wave needs a redeploy to show live.) AI Cursor helped with glue and CSS. I review and edit everything. Core idea and shell are mine. Roughly ~25% assisted....
