Also another thing im quite proud of is the shareable canvas card that you can download to share on social media. It looks really clean and visually pleasing. Getting the screen to fit perfectly inside the CRT monitor, as well as applying the overlay for the 3D effect, forced me to dive deeper into CSS more than I ever have and discover this absolute gem called cqi. This was also my first time ever using JavaScript seriously, so learning how to store things locally, build functions and map those functions to elements was definitely a steep hill to climb, and I wouldn’t say I’ve reached the peak quite yet. However, this projects has taught me a lot about JavaScript syntaxing and best practices, which I plan to implement extensively in future projects. What are you proud of? Honestly? Everything! It was a really daunting task at first, but the hardest part of anything is starting. Once I started, I picked up a momentum that was pretty much impossible to stop, if it weren’t for the time constraints of course (I have school very soon). I’m proud of the JavaScript I’ve learnt, however basic it was, and I’m glad I had the opportunity to dive headfirst into something I’ve never dabbled in before. Any last words, buckaroo? New Joint 1 -> Base interface without wobbling like the one before.
Wrote the code to controll all 3 joints.did this to prepare and pass time while i wait for my cnc shield. once it arrives ill hopefully be able to fully control my arm for the first time ever! No new features (apart from the 3rd joint) where added, but i cleaned up the code from the last version a bit and removed some unused sections. I also added lots of comments to make editing and extending the code easier in the future.
Advanced the software side quite a bit. Waiting for some new parts rn so I used the time to finish the gui for now and calculate everything i need to to send to the arduino! You can now input the three values making up the target point and hit calculate. Then the angles of the three joints relative to their home position as well as the delta of the angles, which is the value which the joints need to move in order to reach the target position, are displayed below. These are the values which are going to be send to the arduino. I also added the function to ignore physically impossible positions of the arm and only show the possible ones. In theory I only have to add some kind of interface to send data to the arduino and the software would be done!
I cant belive I’m typing this, but it works. After intensively working on the software side the last few days while waiting for the last hardware pieces needed I assembled everything today. I put on the jumper caps to enable microstepping and installed the new cables for joint 3. When everything was done i just had to do a tiny bit of troubleshooting but after that it just worked! I can control all the joints and the software also doesnt really have any issues. The only thing that doesn’t fully work yet is the target point feature, since i cant home the arm yet. Some magnets will arrive in a few days and i’ll use them with hall effect sensors to home the arm. Then it’ll hopfuly work just as it should and i can get to documenting this whole thing for you guys!
Worked a lot on the homing of my arm. Did a lot of software first off. Adding the homing buttons to the GUI, adding the commands which will be send to the arduino and adding the homing feature on the arduino itself were a lot of work but we got there in the end! Also added a section for error messages and stuff at the bottom. For the hardware side I glued all the hall effect sensor in place along with the magnets needed for the sensors. I glued them on but i plan on putting designated spots on the arm for the magnets and sensors so you wont have to glue them on if you decide to build the arm yourself. I then had to build a small board to allow all the sensors to recieve power from the cnc shield. I now also started connecting all the sensors to the arduino which takes a lot longer than expected actually. But ive been successful so far and both of the connected joints work as intended right now. Next up i have to finish connecting everything and then finish so software side so the arms get to the correct position once they’re homed. This is a lot for one devlog but its hard to define clear borders in this project since everything is connected with everything else so you are never “done” with one subproject because its only a small part and wont work without me working on the next thing. Also didnt add any pics of the arm with the sensors since you cant really notice a difference compared to the older photo on here except a few more wires…
Did a cfd analysis of the housing for my arduino and the cnc shield. It was pretty hard to figure out but also very fun and most of all a valuable skill to learn. This might be a bit overkill but it actually helped me improve the case for better airflow over the heatsinks of the motor drivers to ensure keeping them cool for when the arm will be working for longer periods of time and under higher loads. For anyone interested I did this in Simscale its very easy to use and you get 10 free simulations!
Im going to upgrade the stepper of joint 1 from a nema14 to a nema17. The nema14 just didnt have enough torque to spin the arm without shaking a lot and skipping like half of the steps… This is the new motor case for mounting it. It will now have the lower bearing cap attached to it for easyer printing and assembly. Also finished installing and connecting all the hall effect sensors to the arm and every joint is homeable now! Next will be installing the new motor and then calibrating the software and if everything goes according to plan (it wont) i’ll be done!!
Put all the mounts for the magnets and hall effect sensors on the main parts so less printing and no glueing is needed. Posting devlogs more frequently now
Finally installed a Nema 17 as the base motor for the arm. The old Nema 14 often struggled to move the correct number of steps due to too much load. The old one had 12Ncm while the new one has 45Ncm :D. I obviously dont have anymore problems with the base motor missing steps… Also the new base with the integrated magnet holder and bearing ring is way more practical than the old design. You wont notice a difference visually and its ugly af with all the cables so yall are getting another rendering:
This is getting pretty hard now… After basically finishing the rough hardware I started finishing the software. Added a zero function which I have to use for now since the homing isnt accurate at all yet and you basically always have to home it manually (using a level lol). But the main issue is the target point function since the arm seems to make up some random data and drifts like 20(!!) cm from the target point while being spot on on the other axis. But I’ll get there in the next few days… And guess what youre getting another screenshot bcs the real arm still looks like shit:
Working on the finishing touches rn. Just made this baseplate, which I dont have myself since I made mine out of a piece of wood. Its much easier that way but in case anyone doesnt have any wood or no tools for drilling etc I made this baseplate for them.

Added light/dark mode, persistent notes and links, and made it responsive. I added NASA APOD API as a cool feature and made it a server-side request so nobody can steal my NASA token. The big thing I added was the Hyperion Space Defender game. I gave it a nice Play Game screen, made it have instructions for the WASD keys and arrow keys to move, the window is draggable and resizable, and even a first-time tutorial that gets saved with localStorage. In order to hook the game up to the dashboard, I used postMessage() to get the score, the high score, the number of sessions, the last time the game was played, and the total playtime. The hard parts about this project were getting the iframe game to communicate with the parent window, keeping the stats persistent, not letting the game count playtime if it was closed accidentally, securing the NASA API request, and figuring out what features are needed and what’s not. This was a big project for me because I learned the importance of state, persistence, APIs, security, debugging, responsiveness, and some neat little UX features in a website. I started by following the guide step-by-step so I could have a basic setup to add upon later. Apps Ended up adding three apps (photobook, about, video archive): their icons act as window opener / closer buttons to minimise or reopen a window. Each app has a designated resizable and draggable window. ONly video archive can be set to fullscreen (intentional choice that I may change later) The photobook showcases my art and figurines, and hovering above each image reveals a unique caption for that image! The video archive is a set of videos from yt that I collected to have a curated video feed. It features embeds. The about me window is self-explanatory. I tried to use social media icons for the contact section, but ended up using AI to create unique SVGs. Challenges I tried to add an MP3 player that I built for my old site as an iframe but there were many broken links and images that it was too much of a hassle. Added some windows to test out styles and top bar. Windows are draggable and closable :) I want to make a fairytale themed OS so let’s see how this goes…
Made some stylistic changes! -Added my programmer’s signature to the middle of the top bar -Changed the design of windows -Added app icons as if a standard desktop to open the windows and ofc -Added to my about me. My social links are also in :)
MADE WINDOWS RESIZABLEE
-Added fullscreen option -Added new app :3 video archive! embeds yt videos for a curated feed! The requirements for webOS 1 are met already so I’ll ship this first and add more features later on!
Updated the readme, working on a new “notion-like” app (utilizes notion api), fixed some stylistic issues, added a noticeboard for important info on the go.
Ships:
I made a basic OS interface. Might add it in afterwards or rebuild it from scratch. Main challenge was also that for most of the time the interface just looked so ugly 😭😭😭 took quite some time just getting the visuals right (I still think it can improve but eh). Also misc challenges, I SPENT 2 HOURS wondering why my windows weren’t draggable. I spent that time tweaking my html and js files, but I DIDN’T EVEN ATTACH THE SCRIPT to my main html. Notes App Pro-a very simple notepad that saves your notes to local storage, so they don’t vanish when you refresh. Weather Forecast App: Create a live weather widget using the Open-Meteo API that allows you to search any city in the world and see live temperature, humidity, wind speeds, with dynamic condition icons. Web Browser: An inbuilt mini browser frame so you can search and browse using live web pages directly inside the desktop view. I’m a total beginner coder, so creating this without any starting point was a huge learning challenge for me. Making the window drag function feel fluid without messing up the layout was difficult. Integrating to the live weather API, processing the search box inputs, and debugging weird code errors took countless iterations. With all the times I was stuck I spent hours watching coding video tutorials, reading docs, and getting AI helpers like ChatGPT and Gemini to explain everything to me and fix my code until I finally understood how it all works. Honestly I’m just glad I didn’t give up! As a zero experience beginner seeing a blank screen turn into a functioning desktop with apps and movable window boxes was a really rewarding experience. It took patience but learning how JS, API fetching, and CSS combine to make something tangible was totally worth it. You don’t need a username or password! Open any of the desktop icons (About, Notes, Weather, or Web Browser) and use an app. Click and drag the top header of any window to move it anywhere on your screen. Click in any open window to put it on top. Other quick options: if you want to do a quick check on the current conditions for your city, try searching for your hometown in the Weather App (just hit Enter or click Search) and receive live forecast updates. Devlogs:
Hey guys, I am working own my first webos
My OS has one more function
upgrade!
Ships:
I built snOS, a dark glassmorphic browser personal web OS-draggable floating windows, desktop app icons, a live clock, window depth layer-ing, and a handful of functionally in-built apps: About snOS: A window with system info. Then what I did is before it was like the computer by itself chose 2 last experiments and compared them but now the user can choose which experiments they want to choose and compare . Then comes the big thing which is still not complete. I added an Ai chatbot . Before what I did is that the chatbot was hardcoded so no matter what you asked it gave you the same already written answer. But that wasn’t the best I could do, so I decided to actually use an ai API key to use and power the chatbot. I have coded everything that requires the AI to be connected but it isn’t working well. I also added environment size but I felt it really didn’t matter how much space we are giving to the creatures. So I removed that. But the other features are there and are fully deployed. You can now have many different combinations which the user can experiment with. Second big thing I added is an “inspection panel**. My friend who is also on Stardance @chahatesh gave me feedback that it gets boring after the simulation starts so I added a sliding panel which slides out when you click on a creature and it shows you different live stats about that particular creature. These are the things I added today. Stay tuned!"}, {"post_id": 47142, "ts": "2026-08-14T20:24:18Z", "hours": 2.1614, "text": "Devlog - 5 Ok back to the normal coding session. Today was a big day because I ran a lot of test runs today to make sure the new small and big changes were working and indeed they were working well. Today firstly I added food scarcity which essentially decreases the chances of food regeneration from a standard 25% of the times it is being regenerated to being regenerated only 6% of the time between 20 seconds to 40 seconds. Speaking of time I have finally coded the timer box and it shows how long the experiment is running for. I also added so that you can see when the generation changed and at what second it changed. Then I thought that the data that we are collecting is going to be wasted, so I coded so that it saved that data and the computer remembered until it was refreshed. Then I added a div into the webpage and made so that you can see the results of different experiments after clicking on the end experiment button. Then I added a comparison mechanism where after two experiments the code checks between them and gives you insights whether something went up or down. These are the things I added and next I will be adding environmental controls so that the user can control things. Then what I did is added a data collection method so it collects data about population, size, vision and speed . It averages the data of size, vision and speed from the population but at this point is not being visualized because the graphs haven’t been added yet. Then I got into debugging . I hate debugging and fixing some of the bugs that were giving incorrect output. Then I overhauled the existing code. Firstly, I made the reproduction random because before it was like at a certain point the population doubled and it kept doing it until they food. But now it is random, sometimes they have reproduction or they might not. Then what I did is that I changed the js to have every different type of trait to be a particular color . That makes it easier to visualize different traits than actually thinking about it. Then I made different graphs for population, average size, average speed and average vision . That took me a while because when I first completed the code and tested it out the height of the screen kept increasing so I overhauled the update code but that was not the problem it was my css and I had height set as 100% instead of a few pixels. So I quickly adjusted it and everything went back to normal. Then I added a status indicator which shows the status of the ecosystem. If you didn’t start the simulation then it will indicate Ready , if you start the simulation then it will show Ecosystem Active , if you pause the simulation then It will indicate Paused but if the ecosystem collapse then it will indicate Ecosystem Collapsed . Then I added energy levels where if the creature consumes food its energy level goes up but movement causes the energy levels to drop and if it turn to 0 then it removes it and becomes dead. Then I added reproduction which makes the simulation feel more real. For them to reproduce there is a requirement where the creature has to be 10(I coded for the age to go up), has to have energy levels of 80 or more and should have no reproduction cooldown, which I added so that there is no rapid reproduction and to limit it. First commit, I finished setting up the tooling and a template for svelte/wasm. Now time to go learn svelte
Drawing text to an svg path. Also set up a debug ui to make sure the text shaping (glyph layout, ligatures, etc) is being done properly. For that, I ended up using a recent HarfBuzz port with basically no docs, which was really fun and not at all hard to understand. I also spent a lot of time searching up browser apis on MDN, and figuring out how to work with async. Next up: keep the parsed font loaded on the Rust side detect and decompress .woff files actually convert it to polygon allow specifying fallback fonts find out how to allow more formatted text (italic/bold, line breaks, centering, etc)
Can now load .woff and .woff2 fonts, and the decompressed font & its shaper are stored globally instead of re-parsing every text update. I’m just outputting control points now, but soon I can finally implement the actual sampling. Also, something weird is going on with the Fira code variable font?
Cleaned up the code and implemented a makeshift curve sampler. Currently I’m taking a fixed number of samples for each bezier segment in the glyph splines, so the resolution is inconsistent and there’s way more points than necessary in some places.
Refactoring and cleaning up, in preparation for at least 2 more sampling options (fixed density and adaptive). Also removed duplicated code so that the debug view actually reflects the polygon output, instead of doing its own text shaping. Have random code screenshots now
Implemented recursive subdivision sampling (why was this so easy?) Basically you split each cubic curve into two cub-curves at t=0.5, and repeat until the curve is approximately a line segment. Though I need to find error metrics that are easy to understand, the current one depends on font size. Image: sample points in black, control points in blue
Finally embedded the actual calculator (which was surprisingly easy, thanks desmos team!) Also, I fixed a bug where control points were being rounded to a grid at small font sizes. I don’t think the current error metric for bezier curve flatness is good, since it’s a distance that depends on the size of the curve (which depends on font size). Maybe I could just scale the threshold by the font size, but I’d have to look more into it. That’s why in the new screenshot, there are way too many samples, even though I set the tolerance slider to the max. The sampling now happens in glyph space, which is at a way larger scale (1em = around 1000 units) compared to the output space, and I forgot to change the slider’s bounds. Also did a bunch of rewrites, and bumped the text shaping/font loading dependencies; their new API is so much simpler that I was able to get rid of a dependency I previously needed. It’s funny, but I regret that I had to deal with the old API.
Polished up everything. A lot of UI work and a few other changes I can’t remember. Anyways, we finally have something resembling a MVP :)
Implemented exporting and added text segment metrics. It’s 4 am here. This is my final devlog, goodbye 👋

I am working on implementing the ai agent harness which will allow users to use their existing claude or codex subscriptions inside of my tool using oAuth link
Re designed the CLI UX and updated the review model consistency, i also fixed a bug where it would stay at plan mode and not move on
Added support for codex harness, and made some changes to the workflows and system level prompt that go to the agents (i also now use relay to work on relay itself sometimes)
Added the ability to create a workspace without a ticket, added error logs, fixed pipeline bugs
working on the cross-agent communication, and support for linear tickets
Developed the web interface for building agentic workflows, fixed linear integration, and added support for bring your own subscription for AI providers
Updated landing page, set up azure vm for cloud workflow runners, and fixed the node workflow builder, and set up clerk authentication
Fixed worktree manager, updated dashboard ui, cleaned up landing page, and added support for bring your own subscription on codex and claude
Integrated auth for integrations allowing users to connect other services to relay
Implemented login with codex, made a demo environment at /play, and added to npm, also fixed bugs on landing page and dashboard
fixed bug where integrations would randomly deauthenticate, added mcp support for linear in codex, and cleaned up some ui elements
Prepared for shipping the project, cleaned up some bugs, finished the demo wf, and minor changes
Ships:
I built relay: a tool that lets you create workflows that run on your github actions. You can have a automated workflow that takes a issue ticket to a pull request ready for you to review. It uses your existing ai subscriptions to run the ai agents, and executes the actions in your github repo....

Devlogs:
I created the PCB for my HackPad. It was my first time using KiCAD so I tried my best and here is what I came up with.
Initial progress of creating my pcb a case. I started off by importing all the 3d files of components which were lacking them in KiCAD and creating a basic plate.
Created a basic design for my hackpad after importing the components and pcb into shapr3d to create a basic visualisation. Now I can go on to refine the look and create a better looking case better suited to my vision with functionality.
Just finished iterating what is hopefully the final version of my hack pad design in shapr3d!!
My older case design and pcb did not fit the design specifications therefore i had to alter my design. I could have simply adjusted the older case to fit the required dimensions but after attempting to do so i found quite a few issues such as hangovers with the 3d model which would make it harder to 3d print. So instead i designed a more minimalistic model which incorporates a vornoi style on the front and sides. To make it easier to print I could split the model into parts in Bambu studio when i eventually print the model myself.
Organised all my saved files in my GitHub repo so that the product is ready for submission.
FINALLY! The parts took ages to arrives but anyways I got started on assembling the hack pad immediately and managed to finish it.

V1 of my typing practice/game. Please tell me what all features I should add, things I should improve, and nice color grading also. Much appreciated if you will.
Finished working on my project named Laufen. Why is js so annoying code?
Ships:
Laufen turns your typing speed into a car race. A paragraph appears, you type it right on the screen, and your car races an AI to the finish line — correct letters move you, mistakes stop you, and a 2-minute timer keeps the pressure on. When the race ends you get your real WPM and accuracy. Built with plain HTML, CSS and vanilla JavaScript...

Beyond standard expense logging, it has category budgets with rollover, an AI receipt scanner powered by Gemini through a Cloudflare Worker, an interactive “Wrapped”-style recap generator, and an offline-first sync engine. What was challenging? Getting offline mode right was by far the hardest part. I wanted the app to be genuinely usable when traveling without reception, which meant caching data in IndexedDB and queuing mutations chronologically so they safely replay to Firebase Realtime Database once you get back online. Handling edge cases in multi-currency conversions (preserving historical rates when a fund changes its base currency) and making sure the AI receipt parser reliably extracted items from blurry images also took a lot of debugging. What are you proud of? Logging 50 hours across 31 devlogs and actually finishing something that feels solid enough for daily use. I really care about the small details-smooth charts, customizable themes, 6 language translations, and exportable recap cards that look great when shared with friends. What should people know so they can test your project? Sign in with Google, create a fund, and pick either Kitty or Split mode. Add a couple of expenses or tap the camera button to try scanning a receipt with AI. Test offline mode: switch your browser network to Offline (or turn on Airplane mode), log an expense, and turn the connection back on. You’ll see it queue locally and sync right away. I’m going to go touch grass or open a new empty project. haven’t decided yet."}, {"post_id": 46408, "ts": "2026-08-13T16:21:47Z", "hours": 1.0633, "text": "PIXEL RUN – Devlog #4 not much of a plan this time. mostly just cleaned things up and made the levels actually connect to each other. before this, finishing one level didn’t really go anywhere useful. now it does. you clear it, you get that little intermission screen with the garlic lives and the timer, then the next one starts. feels more like a real game and less like separate tests stuck in a folder. also fixed a bunch of small dumb stuff. backgrounds were cutting off. camera was doing something weird. scores weren’t saving right. the usual. still no music. still not sure if i’ll add any. the game is playable start to finish now though. that feels good. probably gonna mess with the difficulty a bit next. some parts are too easy, some are annoying for the wrong reasons. anyway. that’s four. still going."}, {"post_id": 46244, "ts": "2026-08-13T10:59:47Z", "hours": 1.2267, "text": "Okay so… third one. This time I actually put the first real level in. It’s the dodge one. You’re the little ship at the bottom, rocks fall, you move left and right, try not to die for 25 seconds. That’s it. Sounds simple when I say it like that. It was simple. That’s why I started with it. I spent most of the time just making the rocks feel less boring. At first they all fell at the same speed and it was just… waiting. So I made some small and fast, some big and slow, and later in the timer they start coming in groups. Suddenly you actually have to look instead of just sliding left and right on autopilot. Also added a tiny score that goes up every time you dodge one. Not the main goal or anything, just so the screen isn’t completely empty. The background is space with a planet at the bottom. Nothing fancy. Just enough so it doesn’t look like a blank void. And I’m only gonna talk about the start menu. Yeah. Just the menu. I know that sounds dumb. It’s one screen. But I kept changing it and deleting stuff and second-guessing it, so I figured I might as well talk about it. When you open the game right now, it’s basically nothing. Dark green background. Some tiny stars floating down. One yellow button that says START. And if you’ve played before, it shows your best score at the bottom in small text. That’s the whole thing. No title. No “Pixel Run” written big. No character waving at you. No “press any key to continue.” Just the button. First version was the normal one. You know the kind. Big title in the middle. Some little subtitle under it. Start button. Maybe a quit button. Controls listed at the bottom so people don’t get confused. It looked fine. It looked like a game. But it also looked like every other small project I’ve opened. Felt generic. Like I was following a template without thinking. So I started cutting things. Subtitle went first. Then the controls text. Then I sat there looking at the big title and thought… do I actually need this? And I deleted it. The screen felt weirdly better. Quieter. Like it wasn’t trying to impress me. I went back and forth on the no-title thing a lot. Part of me was like “you need the name on the screen, that’s just how games work.” But another part was like… it’s a tiny game. You’re in it for two minutes. The name doesn’t need to sell anything. The button is the only thing that matters. So I left it off. The name’s still in the window title if anyone cares. Colors took a bit too. Originally the background was more blue-dark. Felt cold. Kind of default. Switched it to this deep green-black and suddenly it felt warmer. More intentional. Button is yellow. Pretty loud yellow. I tried softer yellows and they disappeared into the background. Tried white text on the button — too bright. Black text felt harsh. Ended up with dark green text on the yellow button so it feels like it belongs to the same palette. Not sure if it’s “correct” design. But I like how it looks. The stars are just there so the screen doesn’t feel dead. They’re tiny. Different speeds. They wrap around when they go off the bottom. No fancy twinkling or anything. I tried making them pulse and it looked try-hard, so I stopped. They make the menu feel a little alive while you’re sitting there. That’s all I wanted. The button does this small scale thing when you press it. Gets a bit bigger, then goes back. Takes like a tenth of a second. Doesn’t matter. But without it the press felt flat. With it, it feels like the game actually heard you. Same reason the best score is down there. It’s small. Easy to miss. But if you’ve played before, it’s nice that the game remembers. I think that’s it. I kept wanting to add more. A little character. A logo. Some flavor text. Every time I did, the screen got noisier and I liked it less. So I left it almost empty on purpose. Maybe it’s too empty. Maybe people will open it and think the game is broken. I don’t know. But for now I’m sticking with it. Anyway. That’s the menu. Next time I’ll actually talk about the levels or something.
Devlog #2 What’s New Start Menu Overhaul The main menu got a complete visual and functional refresh: Cleaner UI Layout, Streamlined button placement and spacing for better readability Improved Visual Hierarchy, Title and CTA buttons stand out more Better Mobile Responsiveness, Menu scales properly across device sizes Polish Pass , Tweaked colors, fonts, and animations for a more polished feel Smooth Transitions, Button states and state changes feel responsive
Okay so… third one. Still no music. Just the hit sound and the little score beep. I’m okay with that for now. Next I’ll keep building from here and try not to break everything while I do it. That’s it. First level is in. It works. I’m calling that progress.
PIXEL RUN – Devlog #4 not much of a plan this time. mostly just cleaned things up and made the levels actually connect to each other. before this, finishing one level didn’t really go anywhere useful. now it does. you clear it, you get that little intermission screen with the garlic lives and the timer, then the next one starts. feels more like a real game and less like separate tests stuck in a folder. also fixed a bunch of small dumb stuff. backgrounds were cutting off. camera was doing something weird. scores weren’t saving right. the usual. still no music. still not sure if i’ll add any. the game is playable start to finish now though. that feels good. probably gonna mess with the difficulty a bit next. some parts are too easy, some are annoying for the wrong reasons. anyway. that’s four. still going.
PIXEL RUN – Last Devlog alright. this is the last one. the game’s done. or done enough. you can start it, play through the levels, lose your garlic, try again, finish it. it has a beginning and an end. that was the whole point. looking back it’s still just a small thing. nothing crazy. but it’s finished, and most of my projects aren’t, so I’m taking the win. a lot of the time went into dumb stuff. backgrounds not filling the screen. menus looking wrong. little bugs that only showed up after connecting everything. the actual gameplay ideas were the easy part. no big plans after this. maybe I’ll tweak difficulty later if people play it. maybe I won’t touch it again. both are fine. thanks if you followed along for some reason. that’s it. game’s out. I’m going to go touch grass or open a new empty project. haven’t decided yet.
Ships:
honestly the fun part was when the first level just… worked. moving the ship around and dodging rocks felt good pretty fast. also those tiny things like the screen shake and the button getting a little bigger when you press it. dumb stuff but it made the game feel less dead. connecting everything was cool too. once the levels actually led into each other with the garlic lives and that little waiting screen, it stopped feeling like a bunch of tests and started feeling like a real game. and finishing it. that part felt nice. most stuff i start never gets there. the hard part was mostly the backgrounds and the screen. i spent way too long fighting stretch modes and cameras and weird gray bars. the actual gameplay ideas were easy compared to just making the picture fill the window properly. also kept wanting to add more. “just one more level” or “maybe powerups.” had to stop myself a lot. and level 3 was annoying at first because it felt too similar to the first one until i changed it. yeah. fun was the feel and the finishing. hard was the technical screen stuff and not overdoing it....

Devlog 2 uygulamalar ve kayıt sistemiKalıcı çalışan Notes uygulaması canlı Markdown gösterici eval kullanmayan küçük bir hesap makinesi sanal dosya alanı ve ayarlar uygulamasını ekledimTarayıcı depolama işlerini ayrı bir katmana aldım bozuk yada eksik veri gelirse sistem varsayılanlara geri dönüyor bu önemliydi çünkü yanlış bir local storage verisi bütün masaüstünü bozabiliyoduAyarlar kısmından arayüz yoğunluğu hareketler masaüstü arkaplanı ve vurgu rengi değişebiliyor sayfayı yenilemek gerekmiyorDosyalar uygulamasında yeni metin dosyası oluşturma isim değiştirme içeriği düzenleme ve silme var bunların hepsi yenileyince hala duruyo
Devlog 3 Mesh bağlantıları ve son düzenlemelerUygulamaların kullanabildiği tipli portları ve merkezi Mesh bağlantı sistemini yaptımNotes içindeki text çıkışı Markdown içindeki text girişine bağlanabiliyor porttaki noktayı sürükleyip diğerine bırakınca bağlantı kuruluyor not değiştiği anda markdown da canlı güncelleniyoBağlantılar SVG bezier çizgileriyle çiziliyor uç noktaları portların o anki konumundan hesapladığım için pencereleri hareket ettirince çizgi de peşinden geliyor İki portun tipi uyumlu değilse bağlantı kabul edilmiyor şu an çalışan ana akış text tipindeki Notes ve Markdown bağlantısıBağlantılar uygun pencereler açık olduğu sürece kaydediliyor iki taraftan da bağlantıyı koparmak mümkün ve bağlı pencere kapanırsa sistem bağlantıyı güvenli şekilde temizliyo En son klavye ile seçilen yerleri ve küçük ekranda taşan pencereleri düzelttim Github Pages ayarını da ekledim ilk halinde masaüstünde fazla yazı vardı birazını sildim en son çalıştırıp test ettim göz ardı edilebilir hatalar vardı o yüzden projeyi tamamladığımı düşünüyorum

I made MyTestOS0 which is a small webOS that runs completely in the browser with draggable and resizable windows and apps like Notes Markdown Files Calculator and Settings the window system was probably the most challenging part especially keeping resizing and dragging working correctly without windows going outside the screen the part im most proud of is the Mesh system because apps can actually connect to each other instead of just being separate windows to test my webos just read readme guideliness...
