The enemies all have one of six shapes, and the player must bring the corresponding shape to the corresponding launcher to shoot at and defeat them. As the game progresses, more types of enemies appear, which require more effort to defeat. I started this game before the summer, so this project specifically adds the new enemy types and onwards (see the git history for more info). The most challenging part of this project was teaching new players how to play. I say that because I obviously know the game better than anyone else, so it was hard for me to tell what new players would struggle with. One example is the NOT enemy, which has to be hit with the wrong shape before being hit with the right one. I spent a long time trying to figure out how to convey this concept to the player without interrupting the flow of gameplay, and eventually settled on a way to explain it with the design of the enemy, as well as an enemy reference page as a backup. Another example is the overall difficulty of the game, which some players found too difficult and others too easy. To avoid the hassle and potential negative feelings of having players manually change their difficulty, I created a dynamic difficulty system which learns from the player’s win rate to make the game easier or harder. I think I’m the proudest of the “juice” (sound and video effects, music, etc.) I added to the project. The programming and logic side of game development has always appealed to me more than the more creative side, such as choosing/making assets, so I was worried I wouldn’t get the game to look or feel good. However, after a fair amount of effort, I was able to get that aspect of the game to a place that I’m happy with, which was a good learning experience. To play the game, you can simply go to the demo link below. It’s a Unity WebGL project hosted on itch.io, so it should run on any device. Keep in mind that the game is meant to be played with a keyboard and mouse, so it may not work or be an enjoyable experience if you try it without those. The most interesting part was handling APIs. mee7 uses several public APIs for things like cat facts, dog images, jokes, useless facts, and quotes, so I got to learn how to make requests to different endpoints and handle their responses inside a Slack bot. I also learned more about structuring a Node.js project around Slack Bolt and how to host the bot continuously with Nest. Overall, it was a simpler project than some of the others I’ve shipped, but it was still a really fun one to build. It gave me a better understanding of APIs and how they can be combined with other services to make something actually useful (or at least entertaining) inside Slack....

-made a recording system -created a note-mapping function -added a delay to let microphone initialize before recording -used a rolling buffer for more accuracy in identifying notes -prints note and frequency in Hz First time working with audio in software! -no longer spams the same note over and over again for a continuous long note -waits for a new frequency (or a silence) before printing a new note -fixed the issue where the recording saves in x2 speed -increased number of note-neighbors considered when the program “votes” on which note is the main one (to cancel out ghost harmonics / vibrato) I noticed that my program works better on piano (since the notes’ frequencies are more consistent), but I’m working on adjusting this to work for other instruments as well (especially those that can vibrato). Cursor ripples in the water, and nearby fish peel away Notes show “Saved in this tank” Windows remember where you dragged them Esc closes the focused window A first run hint: “Move around — the fish notice you.”
I wanted the cursor to feel like something in the water. When it gets close, fish peel away instead of swimming through it, and the water keeps a little ripple. Notes now say when they’re saved, windows remember where you left them, and Esc closes the focused one.
I gave the water moving light patterns and ripples Fish now grow and change forms when you feed them + tank has memory now. A goldfish can become a koi, then a dragon koi. DevLog#1 — Implemented the dataset function. Currently, it reads the input.txt and randomize it into a list, I didn’t check for the file existence, but I will fix that in the future.
DevLog#2 — Implemented the Autograd for rs-gpt, it took a while trying to find a way to implement the original python code to rust, but once I figured out (inspired from stochastical/microgpt-rs implementation) everything became easy.
DevLog#3 — Implemented the gpt-2 like architecture, actually it was tense, the rust rewrite for it made my mind want explode, but yeah I rewrote it and now it’s here. the training and inference are the next goal.
DevLog#4 — Implemented the training loop , the model parameters , and the optimizer . Also, removed the dataset() function and just added the logic in main() . And what is left? Is the inference, and by finishing the inference I will be finished with the rust rewrite.
DevLog#5 — Implemented the inference , ran the model and it works!!!!!!! Now, I can say that I have finished rewriting Andrej Karpathy’s microgpt in rust. I will add more things to it, maybe a tui and make the code more modular.
DevLog#6 — I added a tui that really makes the training and inference visually impressive. Also I published the project.
DevLog#7 — rs-gpt is finally published on github and crate.io

Like an idiot, i plugged in the camera to charge and realized i had a switch between the charging module and the battery, and flipped it. welp. it powered the esp AND was charging and the battery’s protection PCB freaked out and disconnected the battery. I thought i had fried the camera, so i had to resolder the entire thing (becuase wires were coming loose due to bad soldering too). At the end, everything was rlly fine because the battery’s protection pcb tanked the hit and is fine now. one more thing. i decided to ditch the enclosure because im just loving how it looks right now, so cyberpunk-y with those naked wires. im keeping it this way. although i have made it in CAD, those who want can put it on their own pocketcams. Devlogs:
Today I used Lego to try to see how small I could make my retro pocketcam. I first drew out the dimensions of the components (3.7v 500mah LiPo, ESP32CAM + OV5640 Camera, IP5310 Boost Converter) I then opened my big box o’ legos and tried to match the paper sketch with appropriate pieces. Although I did make them a tad bit bigger cause tolerances exist, I think its nice.
I drew out the rough circuit diagram in diagram.net of how the wiring/circuitry for the cam. would look like.
I modelled the entire camera in onshape; including the internal components. I must admit- the enclosure was the hardest part. I feel quite productive.
I made a V2 of the camera enclosure. I think its significantly better than yesterday; looks cleaner and is a bit more ergonomic.
I got a sort of bad breadboard- so i had to manually plug a dupont male header in and out to make it looser. It was so tight that none of my components went in without feeling like id damage them pushing in
I wrote code for Pocketcam, my friend helped me a lot. got a ton of errors on the first try. I had some trouble uploading however, the thing just would not flash the esp32cam. It was getting late at night so I decided to shut down and sleep.
I successfully flashed the esp32cam after a big big boss battle. The thing just would not listen or connect or talk. At the end I gave up, tested it with a multimeter. All evidence pointed towards a defective board. The thing just wouldn’t communicate! not even over baud 74880, not even garbage characters!- thats usually a dead board. I tried flashing it like 20 times since yesterday I think. Same cycle. Upload code, compiling, connecting –> PRESS RST, hope something happens, fail. I try it. EUREKA. it goshdarn works. like holy crap dude, how. wth!!! i am so goshdarn happy right now that the thing works.
I got the camera working. However… the tft is giving me a bad headache. The screen just won’t work- the backlight turns on and all but its not displaying anything. I think its cause of the brownout detection, something is fishy. Working on solving it. I also messed with the code a bit and my friend helped me write better code.
I made a millimeter accurate cad model of the esp32cam and the tft since i have them in my hands rn. battery and buck converter remain
I modelled the battery (just a cuboid) and imported the ip5310 from the web. I messed up the importing a bit and had to manually delete a lot of parts lmao
I worked a bit more on the cad. The internal assembly is wayyyy more detailed now. milimeter accurate
I FINALLY GOT THE TFT WORKING LETS GOOOO. this thing was giving me headaches since the past week. just wouldnt turn on. backlight did. but no data- glowing rectangle of doom. I FIXED IT TODAY. I READ THAT I COULD USE eSPI thingy, change some code, MOST IMPORTANTLY, i wired my DC to IO1… and it just worked. im very tired to type out the detailed thing but yeah. lets go.
I fixed the colours on the TFT ( yesterday it looked rlly weird). now its working. LETS GO. the prototype is 99% done. just soldering and 3d printing the case left
Messed something up…. [Image from the camera btw] Im running the cam at 5mp now and it takes like 8s for the thing to save, and sometimes it doesn’t even save, I was tweaking around- changed something, now the image sometimes saves, sometimes doesn’t- wth is happening, the first iteration worked perfectly…?
Tried to model a new enclosure but failed horribly. Guess I’ll edit the old one
Updated camera enclosure: This is probably the final design- ig only a few changes will be made later like adding holes for the type c and all. But yeah. Its almost done…….
ITS DONE!!!! soldering and everythign and everything is doneeee. just gotta put it in a case and call it done. lets go. finally.
bad news. i messed up the wiring. had to desolder the battery. will do the rest later
ITS CHARGING MY DUDES. FINALLY. LETS GO. I had accidentally tripped the battery’s protection circuit and wouldn’t work (I had messed it up while trying to charge lmao) I just resoldered everything. AND IT WORKS. LETS GOOOOOOOOOO
resoldering the camera… the earlier connections came loose. and this ones even worse ahhhh
resoldered like 2 wires.
Resoldered one more wire, and a prev one had come lose so fixed that too
resoldered 2 more wires and added the power system
Display has been resoldered
Soldered the shutter button and one part of the sliding switch, also connected a few more wires. Its almost done (again)
Its done. Resoldered the entire thing. However the battery is depleted and im gonna have to charge it so we don’t know if it turns on yet
Ships:
I made an esp32cam digicam with a tft showing live view. it was a very exciting and PAINFUL project i must say. alright i really wasnt expecting this level of complexity. first, the damn esp wont flash- somehow got it to flash, tft wont work- it was a library problem. soldering was another pain because first time, and i have shaky hands- all the time, sooo yeah uhhh you know how it went. then. writing the code, huge thanks to my friend; he helped me write the code without AI. it was easier than i was expecting it to be. okay when we got the camera working. i accidentally fried the battery TEMPORARILY. So uh yeah. first ship. lets go....

Make base algorithm and UI. Connecting skyblock api.
Adding a NPC Flip to Sky Trubo. Recently, I discovered that buying items from NPCs and then reselling them to Skyblock seems to be profitable. Therefore, I checked the selling prices of some NPCs and used the Skyblock wiki API to calculate the cost of the required items.
Just Incorporate the mayor’s data into the NPC FLIP.
Now adding a collection limit to the filter to avoid craft that can’t be done. At the same time, some calculation issues regarding NPC flipping were fixed (previously , it calculated based on the highest price multiplied by the quantity ).
Disable the Ah Flip showcase. Ah’s item have too many things to consider.Likes Dyes , a high risk and difficult to estimate its value. I might add the Ah Flip feature back later, but I still need to fix my algorithm.
Fix the unnessary API requests , and improve the skip api algorithm. Also set up a timer for the data delete.
Adding a i18n and changed the READ.md to English.

I Make a Website for skyblocker to Flip Shards / Item all in one website! What sets this apart from other websites is the ability to customize filters; additionally, I developed a project called “Shard Flips” — inspired by SkyShard, that uses dynamic programming (DP) to calculate the optimal fusion path....

I’m probably most proud of how much Nexus grew from the original idea. I started with basically a browser terminal and ended up building an entire little OS around it, with an actual investigation, story, multiple apps, mini games, evidence tracking and a mentor system. I also built around 50% of the planned story before having to pause development because my exams are about to start :( It’s definitely not finished forever, but I’m happy with what I managed to build and ship. What should people know so they can test your project? Just open the live demo and explore the OS. Start with NOVA and the Terminal, then follow the investigation from there. You don’t need to know cybersecurity beforehand. The commands and clues are introduced as you play, and NOVA gives hints when you get stuck. Also, don’t worry if you find a bug lol. Devlogs:
Dev Log #1 Started building a browser-based terminal as the first step toward a much bigger project: a Browser-OS with gamified cybersecurity learning. So far, I’ve built the initial terminal UI and started connecting it to a Python + Flask backend for command processing. I’m learning Flask while building the project, so right now it’s pretty basic — but this is just the beginning. Long-term goal: turn this into a browser-based OS where users can explore a virtual environment and learn cybersecurity through hands-on, gamified challenges.
Dev Log #2 — Building the Nexus OS Made a lot of progress on Nexus since the first update. Added: Built the Linux-inspired Nexus OS desktop Added a functional Terminal connected to Python + Flask Added commands like ls, cd, cat, pwd, clear, and nmap Added a virtual filesystem with logs and files Added a Messages app with desktop notifications and sounds Added the custom Nexus wallpaper and retro UI Started building the first cybersecurity investigation challenge Made the story react to the player’s discoveries What I’m learning: Python + Flask JavaScript and frontend/backend communication APIs and state management Linux and networking concepts Game and story design for cybersecurity education The goal is to eventually turn Nexus into a full browser-based OS where cybersecurity is learned through exploration and hands-on challenges.
Dev Log #3 Worked more on turning Nexus into an actual playable cybersecurity game. Added: Built the first flow for Challenge 01 Added story messages from UNKNOWN Added NOVA as a mentor to guide players Improved terminal with commands like ls, cd, pwd, cat, and help Added hints based on the player’s discoveries Added investigation around 192.168.1.44 and NEXUS’s network address Improved notifications and message Connected the story to the player’s actions What I’m learning: Game and story design Player progression and hints Linux and networking concepts Connecting frontend gameplay with backend state The video shows the current Challenge 01 flow, including the dialogue, messages and terminal commands. Still a lot more to build.
Dev Log #4 Challenge-1 is finally added, where you have to find out why NEXUS-Node-1 came to life. You’ll try to find the intruder and learn new commands and stuff along the way. Also added: A working Jarvis-like helper named NOVA to guide you along the way Working terminal commands like ls, cd, pwd, cat, help, and nmap Game intro and story dialogue Message app with notifications Hints that help without simply giving away the solution Network logs that teach you a bit about networking Made it a bit more like a real cybersecurity simulator
Dev Log #5 Added some mini games to Nexus OS. This was my first time making a game, so I started with something simple Tic Tac Toe . I also added a vs Computer mode where you play against NOVA. I’m thinking about adding more mini games, so i would love some suggestions from you guys. For now, I’m thinking of finishing things up, and finally shipping Nexus. Still a lot to improve, but I think it’s time to get it out there.
Dev Log #6 I think Nexus is finally ready to ship Since the last update I finished up a lot of the OS part & added a bunch of the smaller things Added: 2 mini games, Tic Tac Toe and Memory A custom background Added more desktop apps Improved NOVA with better hints and Humor Added evidence tracking and investigation progress Improved the terminal Added more story dialogue and challenge progression Fixed a ton of small bugs and cleaned up the UI Made the OS react to what you discover There’s probably still a ton of stuff I haven’t noticed yet, so before I officially ship it, let me know what you think is missing or what I should fix. Would love to hear what you guys think :) Should I focus the final pass on bugs, story, or UI?
Dev Log #7 Worked on adding some mini games to Nexus. I started with Tic Tac Toe, it was my first time making an actual game and I wanted to keep it simple. Added: Built the Tic Tac Toe board and game logic Added a VS Computer mode so you can play against NOVA Added win, lose and draw detection Added different messages from NOVA Made the game restartable without breaking the OS (Fixed) Kept it as its own app so it doesn’t mess with the rest of the Apps After getting that working, I wanted another small game, so I started working on Memory. Dev Log #8 Worked on adding 5 new apps that sync with your progress. > Evidence Board. It keeps track of the clues and important information you find while investigating. It also gives you a visual to connect everything together. Added: Tracks discovered evidence and known facts Shows things like NEXUS .24, the unknown .44, access logs and NEXUS-WATCH Updates as you discover clues Added a graphical view of how the evidence connects Keeps undiscovered information hidden until you find it > Network Monitor. Shows active connections Shows NEXUS, the router and unknown nodes Tracks inbound and outbound traffic Updates its interpretation as you investigate Starts with normal network activity and becomes more suspicious as you discover things > Mission Center. Dev Log #9 I think Nexus is finally ready And yeah… this is probably the final devlog for Nexus for now. The story is actually where I wanted to spend most of my time next, but unfortunately my exams are about to start, so I have to stop here for now :( There’s still a lot more of the story I want to build, more cybersecurity concepts I want to add, and probably a ridiculous number of small bugs waiting for me somewhere. Devlogs:
I built the desktop foundation for Aarav Workbench OS: a project-desk interface with a top bar, dock, draggable and maximizable windows, plus keyboard-friendly window controls. The app opens to a clean landing view so visitors can choose what to explore instead of arriving at a cluttered desktop.I also added a Command Dock and saved workspace snapshot so the desktop can be focused, arranged, and restored after refresh. The workbench is intentionally a different concept and visual system from the guide. What should I improve next: a better notes workflow, more theme choices, or a new utility?
Today I worked on the next Aarav Workbench OS iteration and focused on making the desktop easier to use instead of just adding more windows. The desk starts clean, then visitors can open what they need from the dock or choose an Explore, Focus, or Break desk mode. I added local-only tools including a small Notebook, Focus List, Theme Lab, Workspace Snapshot, and a Game Room with two offline games: Signal Sprint and Desk Grid. The latest UI pass also adds a desktop window strip so an open or minimized app can be focused or restored without going back to the landing screen. I tested the open → minimize → restore flow locally, ran the JavaScript checks, and verified the latest GitHub Pages build loads without console errors.Everything saved by these tools stays in the visitor’s browser; there is no account or cloud sync. What would make this workbench more useful next: better project browsing, another practical local tool, or improvements to the games?
I added a small desktop-cleanup feature to Aarav Workbench OS: Clear Desk.It is for the moment when a visitor has opened a few tools and wants to get back to the calm landing screen. It hides the visible windows, but it does not delete browser-local notes, journal text, themes, focus-list steps, scores, or saved workspace data. The dock can restore any app afterwards.I also tightened the window-switching edge case so Console next / previous does not claim a switch when no window is open. I ran the JavaScript checks, tested Clear Desk through the browser-only Console and Command Dock locally, then opened the fresh GitHub Pages release again. The deployed action returned to landing with zero visible windows and no browser-console errors.Live demo: https://aaravkatiyar55-gif.github.io/aarav-workbench-os/Source : https://github.com/aaravkatiyar55-gif/aarav-workbench-osIf you try it, what would make the desk easier to return to: one shortcut, a clearer dock state, or a different landing action?

Aarav Workbench OS is a public browser workbench built around a calmer project desk. Visitors can open, drag, focus, minimize, restore, and maximize separate windows; use the Command Dock; write browser-local notes; choose themes; save a workspace snapshot; and try two offline games. The latest update adds Clear Desk: it returns the desktop to the landing screen without deleting the visitor’s local notes, journal text, saved layout, themes, focus-list steps, or scores. I also corrected the Console switching edge case so it does not claim a window switch when no app is open. I built this on a limited laptop setup while preparing for exams in about two weeks, so I focused on useful browser-first features and tested each release carefully. JavaScript checks, local Console and Command Dock flows, and a fresh GitHub Pages check all passed without console errors. Try it: https://aaravkatiyar55-gif.github.io/aarav-workbench-os/ Source: https://github.com/aaravkatiyar55-gif/aarav-workbench-os/...

It has a lot of components to work around with and build its own pc from scratch from not knowing anything to be able to build a pc in the pc builder. The user could save the build and could also see the other builds saved by other users. The website have large amount of learning material for each component which allows the user to learn from a large about of data for each component and each component has a dedicated learning page so the user can fully understand 1 part before moving to the other part. During the testing I started testing the basic function like if all the buttons, links and things work or not but then I started testing a little advanced things like messing with terminals and consoles to break the website and tried to bypass a feature in a very unexpected way. Mostly everything worked some feature didnt work which I forgot to add while making the website but I quicking fixed those things. But the overall testing part was good enough and it showed me that most of the important features are working and are not able to be broken easily. While testing I found multiple errors which I completely forgot to add in the website for example I forgot to add the limit on the words on the save build so the user was able to write long build names which I didn’t wanted so I had to add a limitation on it and I also didn’t realize the search feature allows special cheractors and the result does not display the correct search result instead shows all the component although it is not supposed to show any so I fixed those issues so I had to add some features and edit some routes and queries on them to add the limitation not just in html so that would not be bypassable and I changed few functions in the filter option so its more advanced on finding the correct name and giving no results for unintended things. The best thing about this website was that the database was working really well with the flask and python codes including some javascript and everything was connected even if one thing broke everything in the database also broke but at the end everything worked just right and I didn’t have many issues in that part. could use the component data, allow the user to create a build and then save that build to the database. The saved build could then be displayed again later. The search and filtering system also allowed users to find components more easily. This showed the planning of using everything together and then implementing it worked very well without any issues. One of the biggest challenge while making this website was working with complex database which was a very wide range data with a lot of components to it and then the many to many relationship which was super complicated and then the database codes to make things up working with together was the most challenging part although it turned out to be working really well. Another challenging part was to add a large amount of learning material in the website which I was able to do really quickly using the help of AI and adding the component to the database to display them in the website including the image where I had to manually add all the images for each of the component to make it look more professional then random image. If I would have changed things from my website from now I would have definitely have worked more on styling adding more gaming vibe and colourful animations. I build new tables and coded the python quaries for those tables as I wanted to build a many to many relationship to make it more complex as I never tried making one although its not fully many to many but I was confued with this section only and I dont want to spend a lot more time on this section so I just added a little complex database with idea of many to many relationship where the build, brand and build components talks to each others with the other components to save the build and display the build from the components to the database and the website ! In this sprint, we overhauled Wibei into a commercial-grade glassmorphism workstation , added a 3D holographic album art core , wrote a zero-dependency ID3 tag parser , and redesigned our landing page in our signature VOID aesthetic. 💎 1. Commercial-Grade Glassmorphism Cockpit We replaced flat panels with an ergonomic, floating dual-deck hardware layout: Left Deck (Ingest): Quick-switch tabs for DEMOS , STREAM (YouTube/Spotify live audio), QUEUE (playlist management), and LOCAL (drag-and-drop). Right Deck (Synthesis & FX): Instant geometry matrix switching ( RING , WAVE , GRID , ORB ), real-time biquad muffler, sub-bass drive, nightcore tempo shifters, and camera auto-orbit. Floating Transport Bar: Ergonomic bottom bar with real-time master VU meter bars, peak telemetry ( dBFS ), elapsed timers, track metadata, and volume scrubber. Frosted Material System: Deep obsidian glass ( rgba(10, 10, 14, 0.72) ) with backdrop-filter: blur(28px) , subtle rim lighting, and responsive LED indicators. 💿 2. 3D Holographic Center Album Art In our RING (Pulse) visualizer, tracks with rich artwork now come to life in 3D: Hologram Disc: High-def circular disc ( CircleGeometry(4.2) ) with dark tinted glass backing and an audio-reactive neon border ring. Adaptive Gyro-Core: When artwork is present, the wireframe octahedron scales outward to 1.55x , orbiting as an open crystal gimbal cage. Without artwork (or on mic input), it docks back to its native 1.0x center scale. Vinyl Dynamics: Spins with bass-accelerated inertia, tilts dynamically in 3D pitch/roll, and pulses to sub-bass hits. 📦 3. Zero-Dependency In-Browser ID3 Extractor To keep local playback instant without server uploads, we wrote id3.js from scratch: Direct binary parsing of ID3v2.3, ID3v2.4, and ID3v1 tags via ArrayBuffer slices. Extracts APIC frames into instant in-memory blob: URLs for album covers. Parses title, artist, album, and genre instantly with zero latency. 🌌 4. Calibrated Bloom: Re-tuned UnrealBloomPass threshold to 0.82 — eliminating blinding white glare while keeping geometry razor-sharp. Title: Chronicle — Software Evolution Intelligence Title: Chronicle — Software Evolution Intelligence Platform by @LAZX | Stardance
Devlogs:
#Devlog-1 Made a simple init command that shows if the project root contains .git files or not
#Devlog-2 Completed the initializer command as now it creates a folder called .chronicle inside the project root and saves a simple configuration file
#Devlog-3 Just finished the scan command to parse git commits and store it in a local db file using sqlite3.
#Devlog-4 Just integrated the django migration scan.
#Devlog-5 Finished the mvp of chronicle.
#Devlog-6 Fixed the bug of ai config not being set on init command

i am working on my web os aether88 and i am setting up basic file strucutre using vite and react js
i started working on the layout on my crtoverlay javascript files
i am developing in in-os applications
i am continuing on icons and color themes
added final touches and fixed window resizing and dragging
i made the changes to code and i re wrote the whole code myself
cleared all remaining useless files and now project is ready to be shipped
re wrote the whole code cuz they said ts ai
used my own brain to restructure my code instead of using ai changed all of the code files by hand no ai used at all
still working on code am planning to change the whole code so i am re writing the whole prject from scratch again cuz they say the interface looks vibe coded cuz of the theme and purplish blue accents
finally done w committing changes and shipping project i changed the whole interface
fix readme and code formatting

Dev. Log 1: Declared variables for future use. No element of the game is made quite yet, but most of what I’ll need for the logic of the game is made. Based on how making minesweeper via terminal input and png output didn’t work very well, I’ll likely have to learn new libraries for Snake.
Dev. Log 2: Started learning HTML and CSS, and started main page for displaying the games. Minesweeper is made in Java, so it will have to be rewritten in js. That is the next task I have planned.
Dev. Log 3: Got rid of java code from repo which wasn’t going to end up getting used, and tried to learn js and html. It ended up turning into an hour of fumbling around with canvas and ImageData stuff, which did not end up working. Going to have to return to them eventually to display boards.
Dev. Log 4: The board turns green when SNAKE is clicked, and light tan when MINESWEEPER is clicked. Although this isn’t too much, having ImageData working means that now I can focus on logic rather than technical stuff.

worked on fetcher.py today 🛰️ finally got the data fetcher module wired up so it actually pulls light curves and target data without blowing up. dealing with astroquery and lightkurve dependencies was kind of a pain, but it’s querying MAST properly now. basically this is the part that goes and gets the raw space data so the rest of the app has something to look at. next up is getting the actual math/bls part working.
built the algorithm bridgewrote the bridge layer connecting the FastAPI endpoints to the backend math / Box Least Squares (BLS) transit pipeline. needed this middleware-style connection so the api calls can trigger the heavy calculations and send back clean json data. built main.py and index.html, took me more time in testing and bug fixing than actual coding somehow, was up the whole night but idk why its not recorded
here’s a part of index.html as well, couldn’t fit all of it
this AI chatbot took me like a whole day to fix cuz it kept spitting errors one after the other, first 404 then 500 then model commission issue then server lag, but now its finally fixed and good to go

I later realised that i can put a black rectangle behind my PCB svg and now the constrast is really good and i can see everything clearly.
I started 2 diagrams for my project’s code/game logic. I will put them in my README file on my github. At first i had a hard time figuring out how to display the code logic, but after talking to Gemini i decided to do 2 different diagrams: one for system state transitions and the other for how the code is structured. I attached images of both unfinnished diagrams.
Today I finished 2 diagrams for the code logic and took a screenshot of my Fusion workspace to put in my README file. I also took 2 images of the real soldered PCBs. The README is starting to look really good
I just soldered 2 PCBs by hand and 5 PCBs using a solder paste stencil. I was very suprised that the solder paste and stencil were easy to use. Using the stencil, i soldered 5 PCBs in about the same time it would have taken me to solder 1 PCB by hand. The stencil also improved the solder quality. It looks way better than doing it by hand. Even though i used a cheap solder paste, I still got great results.
I just updated the Simon_pocket housing 3D model. It now has a tighter locking mechanism and a thinner loop for connecting to key rings. I am also finishing up my README document. I have created all of the diagrams and pictures i need. I attached a picture of the old and the new versions of the housing.
I just prepared a few 3D printed housings and PCBs. My 3D printed parts have bridges that don’t turn out very well, so i need to use some tools to grind them down. I think that my filament is wet, so I’m experiencing this problem.
Ships:
I made Simon_pocket - a pocket version of the classic simon says game. I designed a PCB, wrote bare metal code for the microcontroller and designed an enclosure. I am very happy with the PCB and code, but it think that I need to improve my 3D modeling skills and make better models in the future. I am really happy that i was able to learn so much about the programming of STM32 microcontrollers even if it took a long time. In the future i hope to make projects with more interesting electronic circuits....
