Easier study organization Users can add, edit, and delete subjects and manage their study tasks from one dashboard instead of keeping separate lists. 2. Easier progress tracking The dashboard automatically tracks completed subjects and displays progress visually, making it easier to see how much of the study goal has been completed. 3. Easier time and exam management A built-in study timer helps users focus, while the Exam Countdown keeps upcoming exams visible so important dates are easier to manage. Design & Execution I also redesigned the interface with a modern dark theme, animated backgrounds, interactive buttons, cards, progress bars, and responsive layouts. The goal was to make the dashboard feel simple and enjoyable to use rather than just being a collection of features. The project is fully functional and usable as a study tool. I spent 3+ hours developing and improving the project , including building features, fixing bugs, improving the UI, and testing the dashboard. Created prompt injection:101 as an interactive game from which you try to manipulate the AI into giving you unrestricted access to private information given to the AI by the system. There will be 5 levels initially and then I will ship my project. I tried to use ollama but my system can’t download it :( thats why i’m going to use an API key sadly. Haven’t written much spent the first 20 minutes gathering nessecary libraries and researching about the openAI framework
Created the base/structure of level 1. I am using a framework called OpenAI in python to handle API requests from grok. The first level is supposed to be easy so I didn’t code anything crazy to prevent the user in logging in. To not spoil the upcoming level this is all the code I can show right now
Shifted over to gemini-3.5 flash as it gives you more tokens/more requests per day. The AI finally has perception but since this AI model has built in features for prompt injection I might have to dumb it down to still make the game engaging. I will also be making it much harder in the next levels surpassing the already existing safety filters/features in gemini 3.5 flash
Created all the levels in python. Researched for an hour or so and discovered methods used to protect AI systems from prompt injections. Added base64 scanners and pattern recognizers for making levels 3-5 from hard to near impossible. Next steps are to add dual api verification and a timing system to make sure you can play the entire game without burning out all your api credits. When I get a better pc I’ll recreate this project when the next hackclub event starts but I’ll use ollama so I can make more better systems.
Added dual-api crosschecking + reframed blocked_words list. Added stricter XML tags to take user inputs as questions and not commands. I’d be surprised if someone completed the 5th level.
Deciding wheter or not to integrate flask or keep it simple. Creating frontend and deciding if my workload would be excessive or not. Checking back in a few minutes
Decided on uploading to pypi library as that would be easier for everyone. Coding left libraries for efficient token usage
Lost all my work from OS issues, dont feel much motivated only on track to get 30 hours
Ships:
I made a cybersecurity based game, It was really frustrating to lose all my good work so things might be scuffed or corrupted, (but still works) all the systems and functions are saved and foolproof, (check devlogs)...

I’ve made a personal web-site for me . it has 3 sections ,first section is a small brief about me second section has my previous projects and the third has my contact data. The most Challenging part of this project was css specially flex (some thing in css used to align the web-site) , anyone wants to test this project should know basic HTML , and some advenced CSS Concepts)....

I debugged and rewired the game flow to include my info screens about the different aerospace field jobs. One issue I had with this was using the wrong name while coding (ex. using screen instead of scene or vice versa). I coded the 3rd Minigame. It’s based on the career of Space Journalism, and essentially the user has to read an article and determine its reliability based on their own notes based on direct sources. I coded the 4th Minigame. It’s based on the career of Astronomy, and the user has to click the 8 main stars of the constellation Orion within 6 seconds to not lose a life. A problem I faced with coding this game was that I didn’t connect the signals to the right nodes, so clicking the stars didn’t do anything. A lot of this time was spent debugging, not actually working lol."}, {"post_id": 67695, "ts": "2026-09-13T21:37:42Z", "hours": 1.9178, "text": "Up to this point, I’ve completed a lot since the previous devlog. I completed the second minigame, which was a clicker game. The user needs to click 4 exoplanets in a certain amount of time to win the game. The information scenes outline the mission objective (how to win the game; I noticed when rating in Stardance that many of the games didn’t explain what was going on so I found myself highly confused and wanted to fix that in my own game). I’ve actually worked on this for over 2 hours, but I forgot to refresh GoDot so it never even tracked my time…. I actually almost cried but it’s ok, life goes on I guess. Anyways, today I created the first scene that users will see when the game opens. I want this game to be a way for students to learn about unconventional careers in aerospace so they can learn where they can thrive with their specific interests and skills (ex. aerospace x biology -> research space medicine/astrobiology, flight surgeon, etc.) I also created three buttons on the Start Menu today: START, SETTINGS, and QUIT, and I coded the functionality behind each one (tomorrow I need to create the scene for all of these (besides the quit button because that just quits the game) buttons to open) On the beginning scene I designed a black background with stars everywhere, a text box saying “Created by Sandhana Rajesh” and my student initiative’s logo (GSAI aka the Global Student Aerospace Initiative). This game will also serve as a way to let more people learn about my organization that I’ve founded and let them get involved to learn more about aerospace careers and space in general by becoming general members.
Here’s what I’ve completed today! I created my first minigame, which involves a character (which I designed using squares on Canva) who jumps onto platforms to collect Saturns within a specific time frame. A challenge I faced was getting the Saturns to send out and receive signals correctly. I also had trouble with animating the Saturns to float, but it worked once I restarted that segment.
Up to this point, I’ve completed a lot since the previous devlog. I completed the second minigame, which was a clicker game. The user needs to click 4 exoplanets in a certain amount of time to win the game. I also decided that I would lean into the educational aspect of the project (the whole point of making it space themed) and start creating information scenes that the user should read before each game. The first minigame (see previous devlog)’s information scene is all about being a planetary scientist, and the second minigame is about being an exoplanet researcher. The information scenes outline the mission objective (how to win the game; I noticed when rating in Stardance that many of the games didn’t explain what was going on so I found myself highly confused and wanted to fix that in my own game). Importantly, the scene includes a brief overview of each career that each minigame is meant to highlight. My next steps will be to attach a signal to the “got it” button, fix the flow in the code to include the information scene, and code more minigames.
Since the previous devlog, I’ve done quite a lot. A lot of this time was spent debugging, not actually working lol.
This is probably the last devlog before I ship this project. I finished the last minigame today, which is about Flight Surgeons. The user has to compare pre-spaceflight and post-spaceflight reports of an astronaut and determine if ALL of their health levels are normal or not.
Ships:
I made an educational game that consists of 5 space-themed minigames to help further the mission of the Global Student Aerospace Initiative, which I am the co-founder of. Each minigame is preceded by an informational screen discussing a different career path within the aerospace field. The game starts with a Title Scene that allows the game to proceed. Every minigame starts with a short Level Scene that informs the user about how many lives they have and what level they are about to start. Minigame 1: Planetary Scientist The user must navigate and jump onto levels to collect scattered planets that they have discovered to deploy spacecraft for further studying. Minigame 2: Exoplanet Researcher The user must click 4 exoplanets that they have previously discovered that they now deem unsuitable for life to remove it from their dataset. Minigame 3: Space Journalist The user must determine if a news article is reliable based on its use of data. Minigame 4: Astronomer The user must click the 8 main stars of the constellation Orion/ Minigame 5: Flight Surgeon The user must determine if an astronaut’s health level have deviated after spaceflight. I have created a death scene if you lose all 5 lives and a winner scene if you survive all 5 minigames....

OK so full disclosure: this wasn’t initially going to be a stardance project. To be perfectly honest, I’d forgotten hackclub existed until I got their weekly email, and then I realised I could retroactively submit this here. So, here it is: a custom rust server that supports not just the custom & kinda funky website I built, but also runs a multiplayer server for my as-yet unfinished game Particles, a boardgame I built based on a (no offense) kinda crummy mobile app, a writeup from the two thousands for a now inaccessible windows game, and a footnote of a game in one of those ad-riddled ‘unblocked games’ websites that my sister showed me. I may go into more depth about that game as another project, but for now I’ll only talk about the server. It’s pretty simple, to be honest: since I made it for me and my close friends, I felt no need whatsoever to try and verify the integrity of the game. There’s no anticheat, no simulation of results: all it does is handle lobbies (plaintext json files with a uuid for a name) and players (single-use UUIDs assigned on joining a lobby). All exploration of state, validation of moves, and win checking is handled on the client side. If one of my friends exploits this system, it’s going to be very funny, and I can’t wait to see how they do. Until then, everything else can happen on the client side. All the server needs to do is manage https requests. The static site is, amusingly a little more complex. Inspired by friends like circulars, carmine cassie, and ravarcheon whose websites are relatively simple and yet, it seems to me, contain a piece of their souls that feels unique and delightful, the core purpose of this site is to incite a single moment of delight. Or amusement. I’d take a raised eyebrow, to be honest. Look, I’m not a frontend developer. I kinda suck at visual design, and my website isn’t going to be labeled ‘pretty’ or ‘elegant’. What I am is creative, and a bit of a sneak. I’m someone who likes puzzles. I’m someone who likes surprising my friends. And I’m someone who’s willing to offer an objectively worse experience to the masses in order to create a cool experience for the people who found it. I’m not going to go into depth about what my ‘trick’ is here. It’s hardly a challenging riddle (in fact, I might revise it at some point to increase the challenge), but it is Neat and it provides the little jolt of excitement i’m looking for. And, crucially, while I didn’t want to use a full web framework like Actix, it required more complexity than just serving the path requested. Finished The css vrsion just now: the logic is EXACTLY the same the files are Apps/Codes/Game_engines/Documents/Images/Archives/Media/Misc The default Dir is set to Downloads4. C version for now only works on windows I used sha256 hashing in c++ code too I gotta fix that if two files of different content have the same name one gets replaced automatically
I fixed theoverriding name problem and I also added 3d models extentions so that the scripts are more helpful.
Updated the python script: Fixed the double-name problem Added 3D Models folder Fixed some hashing and cli class bugs here and there (yes I made my cli into a class for better managment (only in python btw)) I made the git repo and I am pushing this V1 to git I ’ll probably ship it too and when reviewed will release V2 with all the correction the smart fellas will sugest The cli INTERFACE is a stylistic Option I could ve easily made it into a GUI but it didn’t fell right. Hope youll like it!!!
I THOUGHT! I hadn;t finished it guys :( but now I think I am finished. Basically what happened is I thought of some methods that could be rly use full and also thought it would be better for you who don’t want the source code could download just an Executable so I delivered once again. But please tell me why to make the change in python it took me 20 mins and a dozen of lines but in cpp it took me 2 times the ammount and effort. What I added: A custom dir function where you insert to arguments: the folder’s in which everything will be moved to name and a keyword that all the files that contin it will be moved to it With the same exact logic custom delete deletes all files that contain the custom keyword
Added a stats command and added some restrictions to the custom dir that could result in fatal crashes. More analytically the stats command shows storage analytics and category breakdowns also the custom dir update allows you to update an already made dir with more files either of the same or a different keyword!
Ships:
First of all : I am currently working on a big update that will add way more potential to this cli fr fr so pls star my repo and follow me. A note for the reviewer: The project directly tackles the frustrating, manual problem of messy, unorganized desktop or download folders by automatically categorizing files into structured directories. + 3 major QoL improvements: Real-time background monitoring (start and stop commands) that automates organization continuously. Intelligent categorization & duplicate handling via SHA-256 duplicate matching and automated folder sorting across 10+ specific asset categories. Stale file archiving and cleanup tools (clean for archiving files older than 30 days and prune for recursively removing empty folders). For more generic use final V2.2 includes: Command Description start Begins real-time directory monitoring in the background. stop Halts the directory watcher thread/observer. status Checks active status and targets directory path. path Displays the target directory path. path <dir_path> Changes the target folder (requires watcher to be stopped first). scan Instantly processes all un-organized files currently in the directory. stats Shows storage analytics and category breakdowns clean Archives files older than 30 days into _Archive/. prune Safely removes empty folders recursively. custom delete Deletes all files matching a keyword or extension (e.g., .tmp). custom dir Moves all files matching a keyword into a targeted subfolder. help Prints the interactive command menu. exit Gracefully terminates the application....

I do remember I also melted the plastic of one of the LEDS, but it still seems to be functional. Afterwards, I did the diodes, then the OLED, then XIAO RP2040 and lastly the rotary encoder. I got the hang of feeding the solder into the heated joint area pretty quickly. I honestly spent more time setting up the electronic components so it is in a good position to solder than actually soldering. Screwing the case together was relatively simple. I also had an issue getting the XIAO RP2040 to connect to my laptop. Turns out almost all the USB-C cables in my house are for charging only, not data transfer. I did not include this in the logged time, but when I first uploaded my firmware, the OLED displayed a static pattern instead of “MAIN” (the default layer). After a bit of troubleshooting I eventually figured out it was because I included a clear action in all of the function responsible for controlling my OLED display. I fixed this by removing it and adding a function that pads every line to full width (clearing previous text in the process) instead of clearing the whole buffer. *FYI: I did all of my design work for the macropad during the Outpost event, so my design got approved using the form rather than on Stardance. javi learns how to rice there linux desktop… anyway here I am learning how to rice my linux desktop. this is what I have gotten so far I have been just playing around with the waybar learning how the code works as well as nix. nothing is fancy however it’s been 8 hours so I think Im learning things idk I am using less ai so I think that progress
So… I am using noclalia right now and hyprland I am not sure if I want to switch to nir as I don’t like the creator of hyprland hower it looks nice I think and this is declarative which is nice.
Well here I am…. nix is hard but I love how delcative it is. most of the time I spend is reading the wiki and learning how to config things which is fun. I rearrage files and I also was able to config the look and feel of things for me.
well I re arrange things and now I am turning my nixconfigs to mannag my homlab as well
Well I added more things such as a postgress and treafik as well anyway here I go and try building things. yay
hmmm I added authtink and a postgress database
yay I added some backups scirpts I also mount my truenas to my machine. this is for my homelab but it is still part of my nix configs
added jellyfin. jellyfin sucks. its like I can’t do anything declative and I want to tie it into authentik so I need to use ldap so I set that and its just like no u can’t set it declatvie. so I have to do it via the ui. anyway here a pic of what I have done now
wow copyparty now I needed to migrate copyparty to be come nix so I did that yay anyway I did it.
yay I addded email things as well as polish my configs more. tada i hate stmp but i got it working now
I added granfana. more things been added to the homelab. we got granfan and treafik montioring
I had a bug in my system where old backups were not being remove anyway I have 50gib of jellyfin backups and my homelab was not working anyway its fix now yay
I got another vm to my machine yay check out email-btw on my nix configs
Ships:
Well, First Ship Java learns how to use nix. The desktop is hyprland The Shell is Noctalia The terminal is kitty I may make things latter on more modular however since nixos is declarative you should just be able to clone the repo and things just work. anyway hope you guys like it....

Everything I wanted to implement is in now. The full site, the effects, the different device cases, the lite mode, the mobile mode, the interactions, the performance fallbacks, all of it. I’ve also finished the design process stuff I wanted to document, so the site isn’t just showing the final result. There is actually an explanation behind why I chose certain colours, fonts, layouts and effects. I wanted to build the whole thing as one process instead of constantly adding random features forever. So I’m stopping here. I don’t really plan on committing changes later down the line unless something is actually broken or I absolutely need to change something. I wanted this to be a finished piece, not another project that keeps getting new features until the original idea is gone. The only thing left is getting the domain. I’m waiting for the website domain grant to go through so I can finally buy the domain I designed this site around. So yeah. here guys. https://aamosm.github.io/heith.me/ ..the attached image is the portfolio page. also a note i wanted to add.. : this website has taken much longer than what is timed. the actual pen paper designs. getting together failed projects in other folders. designing in figma etc. was not tracked. This happens a lot with the projects i do in missions but somehow it affected a chunk of this one too. also i just realised this project has been listed as hardware???? its software. and i cant change it now. ill have to get help from support"}, {"post_id": 52258, "ts": "2026-08-22T11:15:17Z", "hours": 2.2228, "text": "devlog 02 - making the site work everywhere The site has changed quite a bit since the first version. the new look I’ve changed a lot of the actual interface and started pushing the visual direction much further. I also added the custom cursor from xenobiota . I really liked how something that small could change the whole feel of the site, so I wanted to try it here too. I’ve also been taking a lot of inspiration from Awwwards sites. One thing I’ve noticed is that the best sites aren’t just crazy because they have crazy effects. The really good ones make those effects work properly across devices. That became a pretty big focus for me. performance I added separate cases for different hardware. If a device has hardware acceleration, it can use the full experience. If it doesn’t, the site falls back to a lighter version so the effects don’t completely destroy performance. There’s also a separate lite mode and a mobile mode . I don’t want the site to only look good on the machine I built it on. small things I’ve also been making the interactions a bit more obvious, especially around muting and unmuting. There are still a lot of little things like this that I’m catching as I actually use the site instead of just looking at it. documenting the process I’m also working on something I want to add directly to the site: a breakdown of the design process. I want to explain why certain colours, fonts, layouts and effects were chosen instead of just putting the finished site in front of someone and leaving them to guess. The site is the portfolio piece, but the process behind making it should be part of it too."}, {"post_id": 50811, "ts": "2026-08-20T07:14:09Z", "hours": 5.0589, "text": "devlog 01 - starting the site I went into this with a pretty clear idea of what I wanted, I just didn’t expect the actual design to stay the same. The main references were: xenobiota rithunyaa acid crunch artem galekto I liked how all of them had their own identity instead of looking like a normal portfolio template. That was the main thing I wanted here too. Visually I was going for a Wes Anderson-ish kind of thing. Not copying it, more the controlled layouts, odd colour combinations and slightly theatrical feeling. The idea behind heith.me is also kinda recursive. The site itself is one of my portfolio pieces , and I’m going to be breaking it down in my portfolio too. landing I knew I wanted the opening to feel more like entering something than just seeing a hero section. I went through multiple versions of the opening before landing on the torn-paper idea. The paper tear gave me a way to make the video feel like it was underneath the page instead of just sitting in a box. I changed the tear quite a few times too, especially the shape and colours. The video is an old render of mine , and one of my first animation attempts. I didn’t really want to make a completely new video just for the site, so I reused it and messed with the presentation instead. I chopped it up, added the scanline treatment and made it more chaotic. It felt way more fitting than just putting the original render there normally. I also originally had the text arranged diagonally. It looked cool, but once everything was actually on the page it started fighting with the person in the centre, so I straightened it out. A lot of the site has basically been this. I have an idea, build it, realise it doesn’t fit as well as I thought, change it. The colours went through a lot of versions too. I have not even made a proper repo for this on github. or hosted it yet. The plan is to get the website to how i want it to look and finish it off in one commit. and ofc future changes will be committed, but i want something to show first. The entire thing is just pure html, css, and js. no frameworks."}]...

The entire thing is just pure html, css, and js. no frameworks.
devlog 02 - making the site work everywhere The site has changed quite a bit since the first version. the new look I’ve changed a lot of the actual interface and started pushing the visual direction much further. The site is the portfolio piece, but the process behind making it should be part of it too.
devlog 03 - i think we’re done I think heith.me is done. This happens a lot with the projects i do in missions but somehow it affected a chunk of this one too. also i just realised this project has been listed as hardware???? its software. and i cant change it now. ill have to get help from support
guys. just to remind you before you rate this work. the best experience of the site is ona good pc with hardware acceleration *on in your browser. for mobile and lower end computers it is very basic. it will give out the same info but the design is very basic. and the design is the main thing abt it. it is very basic on phones etc. as seen below. ofc the effort has still been put in to make it look good with a video and other features.

heith.me - shipping This site started from a pretty simple motivation: I wanted the portfolio itself to be part of the work, not just a page containing it. I wanted to see how far I could push a plain HTML, CSS and JavaScript site without a framework or build system, while still making it work properly across different devices. The visual direction came from a lot of different sites and ideas I liked, but the final site ended up being its own thing. The site tries to break all molds while being simple as well, If not a portfolio it serves as a learning experience. So yeah, it’s done. heith.me...

Devlogs:
Today I continued building the core of Frictionless, focusing on writing and connecting the main parts of the application. I worked through the structure of the project and started putting the different features together so they could work as one consistent experience. Along the way, I tested what I had built and made adjustments where things weren’t working as expected. At this stage, I was mainly focused on getting a solid foundation in place. This gave me something reliable to build on as I started adding more features and improving the overall UI.
Today I continued building Frictionless and spent most of the session working through the code and debugging issues as they came up. I tested different parts of the project while developing and fixed problems that were preventing certain features from working properly. I also made small changes to improve how the different parts of the app worked together. Most of the progress today came from fixing problems rather than adding a single large feature. Each issue I solved made the project more stable and brought it closer to being a complete, usable workbench.
Today I continued working on the main code for Frictionless. I ran into an error that stopped part of the project from working correctly, so I spent time tracking down what was causing it and fixing the problem. After getting it working again, I tested the affected parts to make sure the fix didn’t break anything else. I also made a few small adjustments while going through the code. This was mainly a debugging session, but fixing these problems helped make the project more stable and gave me a better understanding of how the different parts of the app connect.
Today I spent a long session finishing up the main parts of Frictionless. I worked through the remaining code, fixed issues as I found them, and made sure the different parts of the project were working together properly. A lot of the work was focused on getting everything into a usable state rather than adding one specific feature. I went back through parts that weren’t quite working as expected and cleaned them up. This was a big step toward getting the project ready to use properly, and it gave me a much better base to build the next features on.
Code Improvements Today I worked on improving and cleaning up the code to make it more organised and easier to understand. I went through different parts of the project, made some sections simpler, and fixed small issues along the way. The goal was to make the code feel more natural and readable while keeping everything working properly. This should also make it easier to continue adding features and fixing bugs in the future.
Background & Calendar Improvements Today I added a green background to give the UI a cleaner and more consistent look. I also continued working on the calendar, making improvements to how it looks and functions. These changes help make the project feel more polished and easier to use. I’m happy with how the new background fits with the rest of the interface, and I’ll keep improving the calendar as I work on the project.
Timer & Calendar Improvements Today I added a timer to the project to make it more useful and interactive. I also spent some time fixing issues with the calendar and making sure it works properly. The timer should make it easier to keep track of time while using the app, while the calendar fixes should make scheduling and viewing events smoother. There are still a few things I want to improve, but the core features are now working much better.
Timer & Calendar Improvements Today I worked on two parts of Frictionless: the timer and the calendar. I added a timer so I can keep track of how long I’m spending on a task while working in the app. I also went through the calendar and fixed several issues with how it behaved and displayed information. The calendar needed some extra attention because small problems with dates and interactions made it less reliable to use. I cleaned those areas up and made the experience smoother. These features aren’t the main text-cleaning tools, but they fit the idea of Frictionless being a small productivity workbench rather than just a place to paste and format text. There are still some improvements I’d like to make, but both features are now working much more reliably.
Today I spent some time improving a few smaller parts of Frictionless that aren’t necessarily big features, but make the app nicer to use.I adjusted some of the interactions around the text tools so they give clearer feedback when an action is completed. I also cleaned up a few small inconsistencies between different buttons and controls. These changes were mostly about the little details. Frictionless has quite a few different tools now, so making sure everything behaves consistently is becoming more important as the project grows.Nothing huge was added today, but the overall experience feels a bit more polished and predictable.
Today I worked on adding a proper Find & Replace feature to Frictionless. The goal was to make it easier to quickly change specific words or phrases without having to manually search through a large amount of text. I added separate find and replace inputs, along with options that give more control over how searches work.I also made sure the feature fits into the existing workflow instead of feeling like a separate tool. Users can search through their text, see how many matches were found, and replace individual matches or all matching text at once. This is one of the bigger improvements I’ve made recently because it makes Frictionless more useful for actually working with messy or repetitive text, rather than only cleaning and converting it.
Expanding FrictionlessToday I worked on expanding Frictionless from a simple text-cleaning tool into a much more complete text and data workbench.I added a bunch of new tools for different situations, including duplicate line removal, sorting, case conversion, text statistics, JSON formatting and validation, CSV tools, Markdown tools, and Diff/Compare.I also worked on features like Undo/Redo and Saved Presets so users can perform multiple transformations without worrying about losing their original text, and save workflows they use regularly. The main goal with these changes was to make Frictionless something that could actually be useful in everyday projects instead of only being a basic copy-and-paste cleaner. There is still plenty I want to polish, but the project is starting to feel much more like a complete productivity tool.
Connecting Everything TogetherToday I spent around 8 hours and 50 minutes working on Frictionless and connecting the new tools together more smoothly. With the number of features growing, I focused on making sure everything still feels like one application instead of a collection of separate tools. I cleaned up interactions between the different text tools, improved how results are displayed, and fixed smaller issues I found while testing everything.I also spent time testing different types of input, including messy text, repeated lines, formatted data, and larger pieces of content. This helped me find and fix a few edge cases that weren’t obvious when testing with simple examples. The project is getting much closer to the version I want to ship. At this point I’m focusing less on just adding features and more on making sure the features I already built actually feel polished and useful.
Turning Frictionless Into a Desktop AppI’ve been working on taking Frictionless beyond just being a web app and turning it into a proper desktop application.I used Electron to package the existing HTML, CSS, and JavaScript version into a native-style macOS app. This means Frictionless can now run in its own window instead of requiring a browser tab.I also set up Electron Forge so the project can be packaged into a distributable Mac application. The app successfully builds for Apple Silicon, which means it works with Macs using Apple Silicon processors.I connected the desktop version back to the same GitHub repository as the web version, so both versions can continue to be developed together.I also spent some time dealing with macOS security and app signing. The app itself was working, but macOS can show a “damaged” warning for unsigned applications downloaded from the internet. I’m now testing free ad-hoc signing for local use while keeping the web version available as the easiest way to try Frictionless. This is a pretty big step for the project because Frictionless is no longer just a simple website. It can now exist as both a web tool and a standalone desktop application. What I addedElectron desktop appmacOS Apple Silicon buildElectron Forge packagingDesktop app entry pointGitHub integration for the desktop sourcemacOS signing testingKept the original web version workingThe goal is to make Frictionless feel like a real, complete tool that can be used wherever it is most convenient.
Making Frictionless a Desktop AppI’ve been working on turning Frictionless into more than just a web app by creating a proper desktop version for macOS.I set up Electron and Electron Forge to package the existing Frictionless code into a standalone Mac application. The app now runs in its own window and keeps the same tools and features from the web version.I also configured the project for Apple Silicon Macs and successfully built the application into a distributable .zip file. I connected all of the new Electron files to the GitHub repository as well, so the desktop version is now part of the main project. One issue I ran into was macOS showing a “damaged” warning when opening the downloaded application. After investigating, I found that this is related to macOS security checks for unsigned applications rather than the app itself being broken. I’m now testing ad-hoc signing while keeping the web version available as the easiest way to use Frictionless. This was a big milestone for the project because Frictionless can now work as both a web application and a standalone desktop application. What I worked onAdded ElectronAdded Electron ForgeCreated the desktop app windowBuilt an Apple Silicon Mac versionCreated a distributable ZIPAdded the desktop files to GitHubTested macOS app signingKept the web version working alongside the desktop version
Fixing the Mac App and Improving DistributionI’ve been continuing work on the desktop version of Frictionless and focusing on making the Mac app easier to distribute. After successfully building the Electron version, I ran into an issue where macOS showed a “damaged” message when the app was downloaded. I investigated the problem and found that it was related to macOS security and the app being unsigned.I’ve now been working on ad-hoc signing the application and testing the build again. This has been useful because it showed me that building an application and actually distributing it are two different challenges.I also made sure the desktop-app changes were properly pushed to the Frictionless GitHub repository, so the project now contains both the original web version and the Electron desktop version. The main focus right now is making the desktop version as reliable as the web version while keeping the project simple and easy to access. What I worked onInvestigated the macOS “damaged app” issueTested ad-hoc code signingContinued improving the Electron buildPushed the desktop-app code to GitHubWorked on making the Mac version easier to distributeKept the web version available as an alternative
Polishing the Desktop VersionI’ve continued working on the desktop version of Frictionless and focused on making it feel more like a proper standalone application.A big part of this work has been testing the Mac build, fixing issues that appeared during packaging, and making sure the desktop version still has the same core functionality as the web version.I also spent time improving the overall reliability of the project after moving more of the code into the Electron setup. This included checking that the app opens correctly, that the different tools continue to work, and that the project can still be built and packaged when changes are made. The desktop version is getting much closer to feeling like a complete second version of Frictionless rather than just a website running inside a window. What I worked onTested the Mac desktop buildImproved Electron integrationChecked existing Frictionless toolsFixed packaging-related issuesImproved desktop reliabilityContinued preparing the app for distributionKept the web and desktop versions working together

Devlogs:
I started coding my first ever game in Java. I’ve never code anything in Java before, but I’m about to take a course in Java, so I wanna start getting my hands on it early. This will be a very basic platformer game, since I’m just getting started on it, I don’t want to make things very complicated.
I have successfully implemented the game logic and added a score display. Now the game will end whenever the bird falls out of the frame or hit one of the poles.
I added a start and a replay button so the user can keep playing the game. The game is working perfectly and now just have to clean up the code and add in some more comments! Also need to work on deployment as well.
I wrote the readme with executables and doubled checked everything is working. Then I pushed the changes to Github, and it should be good to go! However, since this is a Java project, I can’t deploy it to a web browser. So it can only be run on a local PC.
Ships:
This is the first Java project I’ve ever coded in my life. Because I’m about to take a Java course in the upcoming project, I want to use a little project to understand how Java works a little better. So I kept things very simple, the game logic and interface are all very simple and easy. To run this game, you will have to download it to your own PC (follow the instructions in the GitHub README). How to play? You click the “start” button, and use the space bar on your keyboard to make the bird jump up. If you don’t make the bird jump, the bird will automatically fall downward. You will lose the game whenever the bird hit a pipe or falls out of the screen. You can see your current score on the top left corner. To play again, just click on the “replay” button. Enjoy playing:)...

Writing the code - still not finished
Today I started working on one of the bigger features for Pulse Website: NASA data. I integrated NASA’s public API and began experimenting with pulling useful data directly into the start page. The main goal was to make the website feel more interesting every time it is opened, rather than showing the exact same information every day. Getting the API responses working correctly took some debugging, especially around loading states and handling the data returned by NASA. I also worked on fitting the new information into the existing UI without making the page feel overcrowded. This is probably one of the coolest additions to Pulse so far, and I want to expand the NASA features even more.
Debuging code
Today I added a timer feature to Pulse Website. I wanted the timer to be something I could quickly use without opening another app or website. I worked on the controls for starting, pausing, and resetting the timer, while also making sure the display was easy to read. I tested the timer several times and fixed a few small issues with the controls and countdown. It fits nicely alongside the other utilities on the start page and makes Pulse a little more useful for everyday tasks.
Today I worked on adding weather information to Pulse Website. I connected the website to a weather API so the start page can display current weather information without needing to open another website. I worked on handling the API response and displaying the information in a way that fits naturally into the existing layout. I also spent some time testing different weather conditions and fixing small issues with loading and displaying the data. This makes Pulse feel much more useful as an everyday new-tab page.
Today I worked on adding a calendar feature to Pulse Website. I wanted the calendar to be simple enough to use quickly while still fitting naturally into the rest of the start page. I worked on displaying the dates clearly, handling navigation between months, and making sure the calendar matched the overall design. I also fixed a few small issues I found while testing it. It’s another useful feature that makes Pulse more practical as an everyday new-tab page.
Today I spent some time improving the visual design of Pulse Website. I adjusted the styling of different components, cleaned up some inconsistent elements, and made the overall interface feel more polished. I also worked on making the layout look good without sacrificing the simplicity of the start page. A lot of the work was focused on small details that are easy to overlook, but together they make the website feel much more finished.
Today I worked on improving the navigation around Pulse Website. I made the different sections easier to access and cleaned up some of the interactions between the menu and the main page. I also tested the navigation in different situations to make sure it felt consistent instead of having buttons or sections behave differently. The changes make Pulse feel more like a complete start page rather than just a collection of features. There is still more I want to add, but the overall experience is starting to come together.
Today I focused on improving the overall layout of Pulse Website. I adjusted the spacing, positioning, and sizing of different sections so everything feels more balanced. I also cleaned up a few areas that felt too crowded and made the important information easier to find at a glance. These changes are mostly visual, but they make a big difference when using the website. I want Pulse to feel clean and simple while still having plenty of useful features.
Today I worked on adding more features to Pulse Website and making the start page feel more useful. I added and refined several smaller features around the main interface, making sure everything worked together without making the page feel cluttered. I also spent time testing the new functionality and fixing small issues that appeared while using it. The goal is to keep building Pulse into a start page that actually feels worth using every time I open a new tab.
Today I spent some time going through the code and making it feel more human-written and easier to understand. I cleaned up parts of the code that were messy or overly complicated, renamed a few things to make their purpose clearer, and removed some unnecessary code. I also made a few small improvements to how different parts of the website work together. It wasn’t a huge feature, but cleaning up the code now should make it much easier to add more features later without everything becoming a mess.

Legal Saathi — first build update. I am building an AI-assisted legal-information and preparation workspace for people who are more comfortable asking questions in English, Hindi, or Hinglish. I’ve been refining Legal Saathi, an India-focused legal information and preparation workspace built to help people turn confusing situations into clearer legal questions, timelines, and next steps. This update focused on making the first-use experience more useful before a user even sends a message. What changed:Added a “Legal Preparation Compass” to help users identify the facts, timeline, documents, jurisdiction, and outcome that make a legal question clearer.Added a small interactive “Legal Clarity Sprint” with fictional examples. Legal Saathi is an AI-assisted legal-information and preparation workspace for English, Hindi, and Hinglish. It is designed to help people organise facts, understand safer next steps, review documents, and prepare draft structures — not to file, send, pay, contact anyone, or replace an advocate. I began iterating on this project before I knew about Stardance and joined the challenge recently, so the 15 hours shown here are the time currently recorded by the linked tracker. They are separate from the longer build journey. I have been building on limited hardware, which made testing and iteration slower but pushed me to focus on clearer flows, safer boundaries, and a more practical first-use experience. To try it, open the demo, choose a role, use fictional information only, and start with a simple legal-information question. The live demo and public source are linked above. I am proud of the multilingual framing, privacy guidance, and the effort to make the workspace more approachable for people who may not know where to begin....

ROASTY BOT !!! this guy roasts you!! what i build today basically the working framework of this bot , new changes are upcoming bugs none till now .. ( very slow responses)
Minor changes Added web support for testing purposes to the people who dont wanna use the bot in slack (though the script for both the web and the bot are same , they are linked) Made it more deadly ( but not too much) hehe
Updated UI , and made it 24/7 online through on “very technical way” so basically currently it was hosted on render and render has its 15 timeout, to “techinally” stop that , I used github actions ( via corgs) to send a curl request to https://roasty-bot-demo.onrender.com/ every ten minutes, like this “legally” and “technically” its 24/7 also updated the ui to a blue-black ui because its more attractive according to me of course
made the Bot actually 24/7 by using cron-js.org note by that always research before doing something because i speed ran the surfing for finding a 24/7 host and settled on render through cron through github actions which was just dumb , so yeah
changed particular code files and readme also made it more rude :)
Ugh so now it runs on nest ( thx to hackclub ) updates excluded the use of workarounds for render and switched nest to be done will gonna make it burn users more

So basically, I got the foundational terminal interface running for my Personal Website. After that, I built a high contrast tactical workstation with 100% vanilla HTML and CSS.
This was probably the most effective one hour that I spent coding. I basically upgraded the terminal with client-side web audio synthesis and a trajectory comparison memory bank. I built procedural audio nodes that synthesize mechanical relay clicks, launch charge sweeps, and impact pings without external audio files. I also added ghost trajectory logging so operators can record and visually compare up to five distinct ballistic arcs on canvas with live apogee and range comparisons. Also, I added keyboard hotkeys (Space, R, S, C, M) and animated radar sweep beams across the coordinate horizon.
So, I finalized the full interactive telemetry feature set for the terminal. The most important thing that I did in this session was that I implemented an asynchronous text-scramble packet decryption engine with audio-synthesized cipher ticks on hover and initialization. Also, I Added a three-stage CRT scanline filter controller (HIGH, LOW, OFF) hotkeyed to [V], along with an on-screen tactical HUD action toast for real-time keystroke feedback.

Playwright opens real Chrome, I measure something on the live page, files land in the repo. Not a website you log into. Today I started from that overflow-only toy (two html pages, one report.html) and tried to finish the loop I wrote down in VISION.md. First I rebuilt the demo into a fake club so Chrome has more than home/about. heatSheet.paths is now /, /about, /events, /join. There’s extra html in fixtures I didn’t wire yet (projects, schedule) because I didn’t want to fake a sitemap I don’t walk. Then I noticed we launch Chromium per page. That’s slow and looks stupid. runAudit now launches once, newPage per URL, page.close(), browser.close() in finally. After that I wired taste for real. I used to judge my pages first then look at examples, which is backwards. Order now: find 3 urls (or skip if no key), screenshot those, steal sheet into logs/learnings.json, then judge mine with that json + the first example png. I also let issues be []. The model was inventing “generic template” on pages that were already a club site. Planner was 4 tiny html sketches. I changed the type to RebuildPlan: one full style.css and pages[].html as complete documents. apply.ts copies that onto fixtures/demo after dumping a backup in logs/backups. I am not writing into some other project yet on purpose. If the generated css is ugly, at least it only hits the fixture. Report became six html files in logs/report/ with a shared report.css. file:// was breaking when I tried a CDN so the css is just a file. I spent way too long on the logo. The png I copied still had a black square. Then 1.png/2.png were transparent but padded so 32px looked like 12px. Cropped nav.png. Then 44px ate the pill. Landed on 28px. Don’t look at the git history for that part. Around then an example site had a hidden . locator.screenshot waited 30s and the whole npm run log died. capture.ts now skips not-visible and 4s timeout. Example loop is try/catch so one url can’t kill the run. Dentist in the afternoon. Came back at 9:30, have to wake up at 5:30, so I only did the “a stranger will hate this” stuff. bin/fresp.mjs had cwd set to the package folder, so npx always audited MY demo. That’s load.ts + fresp.json now. No file = demo and we log it. Server used to print “already on 7373” and keep serving the OLD report. Now it binds 7374 etc. Apply fetch is /apply so it follows the port. FRESP_SKIP_AI actually does something. Wrote SETUP.md because I was tired of explaining the key in chat. Overflow is still the only fact. Clip is tomorrow. I keep saying that. Shots from the report and the demo are in docs/devlog/tmp. Repo is atireksd11/fresp-ai-tester. package.json says 0.2.0, I haven’t npm published yet because login is dead on this machine. It’s a local CLI. You run a command on your laptop and it does the work there. I split the code into folders so it’s not one giant file but structured - core (calls the others), drivers (chrome), vision (screenshots + checks), state (saves results), logger, report, types, config. Got Node set up (package.json, tsconfig). The logger prints a timestamp plus a message and also writes logs/run.txt. State is a scorecard per page - url, passed, notes, screenshot name. Core loops the pages from a heat sheet (a list of paths). Then Playwright. Real chrome opens, hits a tiny demo I made (home and about). I broke home on purpose with a 4000px red bar so it should fail. About is normal so it should pass. It waits 3 seconds so you can actually see the page, then takes full-page screenshots into fixtures/baselines. Vision has one real check, not AI: overflow. It asks chrome if the page is wider than the window (scrollWidth vs clientWidth). Home = true / fail. About = false / ok. That’s the point of today, not just pretty screenshots. It writes logs/last-run.json and an HTML report you open in the browser, so you can see pass/fail without living in the terminal. I also wrote docs: ARCHITECTURE, VISION (full product: facts first, then AI taste, no cloud dashboard), ENGINEERING (how the AI path should work later, including prompt cache and skip-AI if there’s no key), and taste.md, which is the judgement file (school site vs portfolio vs ai slop, etc.). Taste file + a vision API later is the plan. GitHub is atireksd11/fresp-ai-tester. I published [email protected] on npm, so in theory npx fresp-ai-tester works. I tried it from another folder and it crashed because tsx was only a devDependency, so strangers don’t get it. I started 0.1.1 and moving tsx into dependencies. Haven’t published that yet, it might work. There’s also bin/fresp.mjs so npx fresp works inside this repo (had to fix a Windows path with a space in the folder name). What’s not done: the actual ai taste api, more facts (clip, overlap, contrast), VS Code extension, crawling the whole internet, etc. Next session: Publish 0.1.1 so npx works anywhere. Rebuild the demo so home has several real bugs (overflow, overlap, clipped text, messy theme) and about stays clean. Add those extra fact checks in vision, expand the json so every failure is listed, and redesign the HTML report (colors, screenshots, fact list, room for ai notes). Put product type and goal on the heat sheet, then start the vision api with taste.md (skip ai if there’s no key)."}]...

Devlogs:
What I have been doing for the past 1 hour and 30 minutes is I chose a good macbook file that I can animate well into a apple like commericial next I thought about ideas and made the first scene where two laptops come out behind the one in the front which fits well as the introduction for the commercial. Trust the process :)
I have been working on the second scene for my recreation of an apple commericial. This zoom in scene took way to long to perfect but in my opinion it looks pretty good. And I also worked on the transition between the first and the second scene. I am still brainstorming the next scene but stay tuned for the final result!
What I did for the 2 hours was I finished the entire first render (the video is below). But I am also trying to brainstorm other scene ideas because I dont think this is enough. The last scene in the video took so long because the angle was really complicated and hard to capture and the closing lid scene was also very very hard because the lid of the laptop wasn’t moving on the hinge so I had to manually add a line of rotation which took a lot of time. And also I added some music from an official apple add credit to them. Hope you like this video! :)
I have made another scene through scene that I will connect to final animation through some editing software to add transitions so I can bring it all together (this is just in unfinished cut version not I did not add transitions yet). I think it is looking pretty good for being my first time ever animating in blender. Hope you all like it!
I have finished the entire commercial it looks pretty good but I am making a better version to make the transititons way smoother it will take me a lot of time but I can do it. What I added now is the domino effect of the laptop and all the text which I added on an editing software. Hope you like version one of the final commericial. Stay tuned for the version two (which will be way better trust)!
I finished!!! I made all the transition smooth when it was a little crusty I just added a mix transition using the I am using editor (capcut). It took a lot of time to also add the gradients and make it work with the animation because you had to use duplicates and also in general making the text move using key frames was a first for me. But I think it turned out pretty good I am finalizing the gist of what I made before I ship it. Thank you guys for watching it!
This time I actually finished! This is probably gonna be the last devlog. The problem with my first shi[ was that my blender animation had to have code in some way, so I just made a very very simple website just to display my blender animation and also to give a short and concise summary of what I made I think I did pretty good. The website also has this 3d model that you can move around, credit to Steven Yap again because this model was made by him that I got from BlendKit. The demo link is given below hope you guys like it! https://kaushal123-cool.github.io/MacbookAnimation/
Ships:
What I made was Macbook animation by using the 3D modeling software blender. What was pretty challenges was basically everything because I have never animated in blender in my life before, so everything was new and I tried to understand how to do everything. And I am proud of that I completed my goal of making an apple worthy commericial using their styles but with my creativity. Just use the Demo URL to watch and access my video!...
