New project has started. It is my WebOS and I will develop it until it is like serious project.
I have added topbar, and now working on draggable window
I have entered to the most challenging part: adding draggable, openable and closeable window.
Now it is draggable and closeable I think that i have pass the most complex part. Openable function won’t be very challenging (in my opinion)
For welcome icon, i cannot find other suitable picture, if you have and idea please write it on comment. Still, it is running and working smoothly
Now, i’m adding first and simple app that most of us use it in our daily life
Now, my apps are draggable and when you open next app it will appear above last ones.
It will be shipped after around 1 hour of work. It was very complex to write it’s script, but after great challenges it is nearly done.
Now, I am working on Theme app, I think it will be necessary for user to change their theme as they want.
I have finished built themechanger app, it is working quiet well, but for now it is monofuntional.
You can see big differences now, but I just change images to hand-make arts instead of AI arts, because I didn’t know Stardance had restrictions on it
Ships:
In past, i think OS is very large and mission in the finish, but now i am able to write code of that in my own with Stardance motivations and also I have learnt using function in Js while developing, so try and get achievements for your effort. In this OS I only add some simple apps and my personal info, but in future project, i will add some advansed one’s like calc and map, or even little browser....

Silly me makes another bad readme this time i learnt markdown to actually make a good one
Apparently i used too much ai in my styling so i removed the parts of css that were ai generated. The rest are human typed, with what i learnt from making my own website and the guide
Removed all ai code and rewrote some of the css
Made a loading screen with 4 different types of animations, these animations are chosen randomly when page is loaded, or u can choose which animation by appending ?loader=spin/bounce/pulse/wobble to the end of the url

I added Mouse scroll and zoom functionality. The zoom works by bringing thumb and index finger close, then using the middle finger to zoom as you can see in the video. You can also use the mouse in a similar way. your mouse moves with the midpoint of your index and thumb. when you tap them its a left click, when you touch your thumb and middle finger, the tracking stops for you to adjust your hand if it goes out of the camera. You can switch between the 3 modes by pressing “P” while keeping the camera window in focus"}, {"post_id": 72394, "ts": "2026-09-22T20:20:57Z", "hours": 2.3067, "text": "Devlog 2 Added Scrolling Functionality Today I mapped the scroll wheel with pyautogui to scroll as I move my hand up or down while keeping my finger and thumb in contact. To do so I calculated the mid point between my thumb and finger. This point acts as the main point whose position is considered for scrolling. You can see it in the video as well, it turns red when my fingers come in contact Next to actually scroll I use the following code -> diff = ti_mid[1]-prev_ti_midpt_y if abs(diff) > small_movement: pyautogui.scroll(int(diff*sensitivity)) prev_ti_midpt_y = ti_mid[1] Here I Compare the position of the mid pt in each iteration, calculate the difference and multiply with a constant which acts a sensitivity. However I faced one issue when calculating the distance. when I move forward and backward, the distance between 2 fingers is constant in the real world but it keeps changing for the camera as I move hand closer and further from the camera. To fix this we understand that the ratio between the distance of my wrist and the point right where the pinky finger starts and the distance between fingers is always constant (because the palm never bends so it gives us a reference point to calculate distance) , even when I move hand closer or far away. so that’s what I did, I calculated the ratio and used it as the distance which you can also see in the video below. There is also score which is the confidence of hand tracking and contact which tells if the index and thumb are in contact."}]...

Devlog 1 Intro I have some plans for this project. I want to build a software which will let me control my pc from my hands via gestures. Functionality Left click - Tapping Thumb and Index finger Right click - Holding thumb and index finger still while in contact Moving cursor - Moving the hand with the thumb and finger close by Scrolling - Holding the thumb & middle finger and moving it up and down Middle click - Tapping thumb and middle finger Stack Python Mediapipe Today’s work Today I had setup a git repo and started writing the code. Till now I have made a basic structure which captures input via opencv, makes a dictionary with coordinates of all points in a hand and finally calculates the distance between thumb and index finger. Then it also detects if the thumb and middle finger are in contact. There is also score which is the confidence of hand tracking and contact which tells if the index and thumb are in contact.
Devlog 2 Added Scrolling Functionality Today I mapped the scroll wheel with pyautogui to scroll as I move my hand up or down while keeping my finger and thumb in contact. Finally we use pyautogui to scroll it by that amount. Also if the magnitude of diff is too small (ie. less than small_movement variable) then the movement is not considered. I also defined these variables at the top for easier configurations sensitivity = 4 small_movement = 5 tap_threshold = 0.3 hand_detection_confidence=0.2 tracking_confidence=0.1 scroll_mode = True Tap threshhold here is how close the fingers have to be to consider them in contact Further Plans Next I will be adding the mouse movement. I tried to implement that today but its gonna take more time so I’ll continue it in the next session. For that reason only I also added the variable, scroll_mode
Devlog 3 Added Mouse and Zoom Functionality I made this quite a while ago and then got sick, forgot to log this. You can switch between the 3 modes by pressing “P” while keeping the camera window in focus
Devlog 4 I added a readme and built the programme into an .exe file. So now you can easily go and test it out!
Ships:
I have completed the first version of this project. Lazy control allows you to control your device with hand gestures. You can control the mouse scroll and zoom through hand gestures easily....

side devlog 3: less clutter + a manager page the page had way too much going on fr. cut the face readouts, the demo stepper, extra stats and the giant verify box. headline rises in word by word, the face boots up with its eyes opening, sections fade in once, and the nav has a little pill that slides around. all of it switches off if u have reduced motion on made a site manager ( npm run admin ). edit any text, pick which commit stable points at, update the roadmap, all next to a live preview. saves as u type drag an installer onto a platform and it gets hashed on upload, so the page shows the real sha-256. no more copy pasting hashes by hand it only runs on localhost and never ships in the build, so nobody’s editing my site but me. hehe nice try. Now that i think about it. i think i did way too much unneccessary stuff.

Researchers in the field have optimised the algorithm mathematically to about O(B(log log B)^(1+o(1))), where B is the upper bound for min(|x|, |y|, |z|). This still required large amounts of computing power for the new solutions found recently. The last possible number under 100 to be solved was 42 in 2019, which was possible through crowdsourced compute power from people’s spare computers. I implemented the algorithm in C, and although I didn’t find new solutions (my laptop isn’t quite powerful enough) I did re-discover many solutions, including 30 which was found in 1999."}]...

Naively, you might nest three loops to get O(n^3) time complexity, but for the above solution you’d need to search at least 10^51 combinations, which is more than the number of atoms on Earth. I implemented the algorithm in C, and although I didn’t find new solutions (my laptop isn’t quite powerful enough) I did re-discover many solutions, including 30 which was found in 1999.
Ships:
I made an implementation of an algorithm to find solutions to the sums of three cubes problem! Some challenging aspects were making the algorithm work multithreaded, and saving/loading progress. If you want to try it out, please download the C file from my github and run make....

It isn’t a respin of anything. It has its own package manager (bpm, written in Rust with streaming installs and SHA-256 verification), its own package format, and its own signed repository using an Ed25519 signature over the index. There are 225 package recipes so far, from glibc and binutils upward. It’s also self-hosted in the real sense. The base system is built from Blueberry packages using the Blueberry toolchain, and if a build falls back to a foreign bootstrap, that’s considered a build failure rather than a successful build. I came back to the project after about a month away and spent some time auditing the live infrastructure before getting back to development. I fixed the repository issues I found, published nine package updates, and built something new: you can now try Blueberry directly in your browser at https://try.blueberrylinux.org . The hardest part of this round was actually a near miss. There’s an old copy of bpmrepo.sh sitting on the repository host that predates serial support. It doesn’t emit the |serial| line. It was sitting there looking perfectly usable, and it would have worked. The problem is that using it would have silently removed rollback protection from the signed repository index. Nothing would have obviously failed. The index would still have been signed and the repository would still have worked. I only caught it because I went back and checked what my own client actually expects instead of assuming the existing tool was the right one. The browser shell also had two bugs that took a bit of debugging. First, pty.fork() already calls setsid(), so I was calling it a second time. That resulted in EPERM and killed every session immediately after launch. Then the xterm CDN URLs started returning 404s. The frontend failed before it could even display the actual error, so from the user’s perspective it just sat there saying “connecting…”. I vendored the assets locally and changed the frontend to report asset loading failures properly. The part I’m happiest with is how the browser environment is built. The thing you’re running in the browser is actually assembled from the same packages the distro itself uses. The isolation is also verified rather than assumed. From inside a live session, the router, the hypervisor, and 1.1.1.1 are all unreachable, and only three PIDs are visible. If you want to try it, open https://try.blueberrylinux.org . It’s a real shell on a real Blueberry rootfs. There’s no network access, nothing persists between sessions, and each session is limited to ten minutes. The other was blueberry-build.timer on the repo host, which had failed every hour since 29 June — 2,217 consecutive failures — because it was still trying to run blueberry-build-server.sh. I deleted that script during the .bpm migration and never disabled the unit.I also initially thought repo1 was broken. It isn’t. Its index is 0 bytes because it’s the BUR community mirror and nothing has been approved there yet. Nginx correctly returns 404 at the origin. That one was just me reading the state incorrectly. Both actual issues are now fixed.I disabled the timer rather than bringing the old script back. I also republished the index with a fresh serial using tools/release/repo-publish.sh. The changes are on branch pkg-bump-2026-09-20.Three automatic bumps produced incorrect source URLs. ca-certificates tried to fetch a 2026-08 PEM from the 2026-05 path, and expat tried to fetch 2.8.4 from the R_2_8_2 tag. Those were left unpublished rather than shipping the wrong tarball.sqlite needs a manual bump. openssl 3.4.6 -> 4.0.2, perl 5.40 -> 5.44, and gettext 0.26 -> 1.0 are ABI-level changes, so those will get separate passes. There’s also something new: you can try Blueberry directly in your browser. https://try.blueberrylinux.orgNo install and no signup. It’s a real shell running on a real Blueberry rootfs. The rootfs is about 480 MB, assembled by walking the dependency closure from bpm.index and pulling the packages directly from the live mirror. It contains 41 packages, including bpm 1.11.6.The frontend is xterm.js, with an aiohttp WebSocket connected to a PTY, served through Cloudflare. Each session gets an overlay over a read-only rootfs, its own network, PID, mount, and UTS namespaces, a 32 MB tmpfs, and a hard 10-minute limit. I built MINERVA-8, a custom console-based 8-bit assembler written entirely from scratch in C++. MINERVA-8 emulates a complete low level computer system from the command line. It has registers, a hardware stack pointer, flags (CF & ZF), 256 bytes of simulated memory, and full CPU emulation. There is also a compiler which converts assembly code with symbolic names to machine instructions. Implemented in C++. What Was Challenging? There were quite a few issues that I ran into when running assembly programs but they were fixable using my ‘step’ flag and watching the CPU states(flags/registers). However, one major hurdle I encountered with forward labels was that my assembler did not support jumping to an undefined label that wasn’t declared yet(forward jumps) used in JMP, CALL, JZ, and JNZ instructions. I could not solve this problem until I learned during my C++ class how V-tables are created during compile time. Thus, I decided on an “unresolved array” which would store the label and not have a resolved address which would be patched later when the label is actually found. My dad also suggested a two pass assembler would be more elegant. During the first pass all labels can be resolved and during the second pass the machine code can be generated. I chose to keep the single pass design because it produced a faster assembler despite requiring a small tracking array. What are you proud of? I am more satisfied than being proud of building a functional hardware stack infrastructure capable of handling nested subroutines using low-level PUSH, POP, CALL, and RET commands. It was amazing to watch a processor simulator I wrote entirely by hand successfully use stack memory to jump into subroutines, run math operations, and bounce back to the main program loop cleanly without crashing or corrupting memory boundaries. How to Test My Project Go to https://github.com/sudeeps-projects/Minerva-8/blob/master/README.md look for the section Quick Start & Usage It describes how to test my project The compiled executable MINERVA-8.exe is located inside the release folder of this repository. General Usage Open your command prompt, navigate to the release folder, and run the executable with your assembly file and optional flags: MINERVA-8.exe <filename.asm> [options] Parameters & Options filename.asm (Required): The path to the MINERVA-8 assembly file you want to execute. –step (Optional): Step Mode. Displays the current CPU state and next instruction, then waits for ENTER before executing the next step. –ram (Optional): RAM Mode. Displays the fully assembled machine code stored in the 256-byte RAM. Command Examples Standard Execution MINERVA-8.exe DEC.asm Running Step Mode MINERVA-8.exe DEC.asm –step Running RAM Mode MINERVA-8.exe DEC.asm –ram Combining Step and RAM Modes The optional flags can be supplied together in any order: MINERVA-8.exe DEC.asm –step –ram OR MINERVA-8.exe DEC.asm –ram –step Look at my youtube channel on this topic: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7CmpW0mE3cQ", "repo": "https://github.com/sudeeps-projects/Minerva-8", "demo": "https://github.com/sudeeps-projects/Minerva-8/releases/download/v1.0.0/MINERVA-8.exe"}]...

It took me 4-5 days to come up with fibonacci flow as I was hand-calculating the output using my instructions. When I tried it , i was getting wrong answers. My step flag helped me debug the flow and eventually I could come up with correct fibonacci instruction flow. I have put many examples in the release folder. In the release folder, I have put Minerva-8.exe which takes the file name <fibonacci.asm> as an argument. It also takes additional optional arguments such as [–step | –ram] . The –step argument provides the user with the ability to debug instruction by instruction flow and shows the CPU state after execution of every instruction. This helped me debug my own fibonacci.asm which took quite a bit of time. Also, I have struggling with logging hours on hackatime. My github is on [email protected] account and i logged to hackatime using [email protected] . Using the help from slack and some from Google , I tried to link both the emails but it is still not clear on why it shows 0hours when hackatime clearly logged 30hrs for Minerva-8 and 1:30 hrs for compiler"}, {"post_id": 71568, "ts": "2026-09-21T02:15:40Z", "hours": 28.5417, "text": "In my 10th grade Summer, I took C++ course in Folsom Lake Community College. Depending on the instruction, it can: modify registers perform arithmetic perform bitwise logic update CPU flags load or store memory change program control flow output values or characters Instruction Set Instruction Description LDA Load a value into Register A LDB Load a value into Register B LDM Load a value from memory into Register A ADD Add Register B to Register A SUB Subtract Register B from Register A STA Store Register A in memory OUT Output Register A as a number OUTC Output Register A as an ASCII character JNZ Jump if the Zero Flag is not set JZ Jump if the Zero Flag is set JMP Unconditional jump AND Bitwise AND of Register A and Register B OR Bitwise OR of Register A and Register B XOR Bitwise XOR of Register A and Register B SHL Shift Register A left by one bit SHR Shift Register A right by one bit NOT Invert every bit in Register A INC Increment Register A DEC Decrement Register A CMP Compare Register A and Register B and update flags PUSH Push Register A contents to stack POP Pop stack into Reg A and update flags CALL Call subroutine RET Return from subroutine to the caller HLT Halt execution
over the last few weeks, I have been working on many test cases.. I have added many negative test cases where I try to pop from an empty stack or ‘ret’ instruction without a call. I found many issues that i fixed in the last few weeks. I have also written a fibonacci series using my instruction set and have been successfully able to ‘OUT’ the result to console. This has been my most proud activity. Using the help from slack and some from Google , I tried to link both the emails but it is still not clear on why it shows 0hours when hackatime clearly logged 30hrs for Minerva-8 and 1:30 hrs for compiler

What did I build? Command Examples Standard Execution MINERVA-8.exe DEC.asm Running Step Mode MINERVA-8.exe DEC.asm –step Running RAM Mode MINERVA-8.exe DEC.asm –ram Combining Step and RAM Modes The optional flags can be supplied together in any order: MINERVA-8.exe DEC.asm –step –ram OR MINERVA-8.exe DEC.asm –ram –step Look at my youtube channel on this topic: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7CmpW0mE3cQ...

Alright! This is going to take up my remaining time in Stardance. Zenith, a Voice Assistant in python. Currently, I plan to make it talk, open apps, and search the web. Future plans are to give it a better voice, hook it up to AI, give it a way of showing itself, and things I havent thought of yet!
So, what am I up to. Well, I decided to make a Assistant, that is fully hand coded, every web link, every company, all hand coded. This will be pain
So, more sites in, and added flags for noAI, noSocialMedia, sureBing and preferDesktop. I am currently adding Streaming Services!
More sites have been added! Time to add some greetings, and other conversational phrases
Well, I have added some stuff to this! It can give you greetings, and I am now giving it access to the weather!
Well, the weather API supposedly works, but testing it now, shows that there is a big bug somewhere, causing it to pick the wrong commands. Time for some debugging!
Ok! Fixed the issue with it misquoting the commands, it should now run the proper commands!
Well! I designed a logo! Check it out!
Well, it can now talk about whats going on!
I made another banner! So now, time to ship, and then after that, we make shudders documentation.
Ships:
Presenting, Zenith! The only AI Assistant that is fully hand coded! Currently, Zenith can: Open Websites Say Hello and Goodbye Send Notfications Check the weather And More to come!...
