Devlogs:
I made a slack bot inspired by one of the famous economic discord bot, Dank Memer. So far I have made great progress and managed to get database working (using quick.db in js).
I made a slack bot inspired by one of the most famous discord bot, Dank Memer. In day 2 (which is today), I have added a bank system where you can deposit or withdraw your money, it will be handy in making other commands soon.
I made a slack bot inspired by one of the most famous discord bot, Dank Memer. In day 3, I have added a coinflip command (heads or tails), you can input on how many you want to gamble and it will be from the bank
I am making a slack bot inspired by one of the most famous discord bot, dank memer. In day 4, I added daily and weekly commands which allows you to get daily and weekly money with cooldowns.
I’m working on a slack bot inspired by one of the most famous discord bot, dank memer. In day 5, I added beg command in which you can beg and get random value of money, but has a 1min cooldown. There’s also a shop command to show the items for sale, but buy command isn’t finished yet (it will be tomorrow)
I am working on a slack bot inspired by one of the most famous discord bot, dank memer. In day 6, I have added buy command, which can buy fishing rod, baits, and shovel, I will start adding dig and fish commands tomorrow
I am making a slack bot influenced by one of the most famous discord bot, dank memer. In day 7, I have added fish and items command. There are 3 types of fish, common, rare, and legendary. (kept getting common fish guess my luck is pretty bad lmao) The commands work very well with the bait system and I will be adding sell command tomorrow. (Hopefully dig command in 2 days!)
I am working on a slack bot inspired by dank memer, a most used economic discord bot. In day 7, I have added dig command, similar to fish command, but it has cooldowns to prevent digging multiple artifacts at one. I also have implemented sell command’s foundation, it will be ready tomorrow.
I am working on a slack bot inspired by one of the famous discord bot, dank memer. In day 8, I have added the sell command and it works very well with item ids. This will be the last devlog of my bot since I have decided to end it here. Thank you for everyone that saw my project!
Ships:
I made a economic slack bot inspired by dank memer, one of the most famous economic discord bot. The challenging part was to figure out the database of what should I use, I have decided to use quick.db for it’s private, good quality and easy to setup database. I’m really proud of how the bot really turned out to be a good economic bot in slack....

I made a 2D platformer game that is easy to play and learn. The most challenging part of this project was creating the levels. It was not easy finding inspiration to create these levels, but I think I tried my best 🥲. I’m proud of me completing the project; seeing it actually work made me super happy. NEXUS- All in ONE –I’ve kicked off my new stardance mission - Give your website a pulse with “Nexus” which is a custom new-tab-style dashboard designed to make opening a new tab little more useful. I’ve spent the first hour of work setting up the project with Vite and Vanilla JS and planning the main sections and look of page in Canva and implementing it in html. So yes, The UI is still a skeleton right now, but the foundation is in place. Next up, I’ll be giving my page a little life with CSS and JS
Nexus has its own look now. This session was supposed to be CSS along with JS but i figured i could just separate the logs for them. SO this is just the part for visual foundation. I’d envisioned a dark purpulish theme and pre-designed the layout in canva but implementing that in actual code was really troublesome. I’ve been trying to make the page fit-to-screen with all the sections unhindered but cant seem to manage it idk why. for now I’ve just decreased the box size of shortcuts and workspace to make it fit but later after actual content is added idk how I’m gonna manage that. Nexus gets little life now.. I’ve added some JS functions for date and time functionality. The page even greets you as per your time of the day. Also added a feature for remaining time of the day to boost up your morale haha. I also embedded lucide for header icons and implemented the relevant CSS. Well, finally it’s now a html+css+js thing but still need to add more.. (dw i’ll replace that dirty thing with an analog clock later)
As promised, Nexus has its own analog clock now.. This design was what I initially envisioned. The previous version was just a placeholder for my html section. This one little update took a lot cus my math wasn’t mathing at all. After trials and error, I looked up some reference and finally managed a live-working one. Hope yall like the update
I made the shortcuts section responsive and usuable. You can add a new shortcut with its link and it’ll update in the main page. It vanishes just after a reload tho >< Finally functions like an actual new tab page now
Two major updates at once this time.. –I’ve completed the daily task feature which was previously only a skeleton. Now you can add your tasks and mark it checked as in the pic after youve completed it. –I’ve also added the focus timer for you lots to get over-stimulated :) . For now, only I can choose the timer time which I’ve chosen 5 mins. You can pause and resume the timer. (adding this feature reminded me I’m good at maths ><)
In this session I wrote the readme file for Nexus. I also made Nexus deployable and hosted through github pages. I took help from the guide for this process. Finally Nexus is live now
My final log for NEXUS– I’ve added an actual background this time removing just the color gradient one. The whole UI theme is now based on the new bg. New layouts. Removed whole box- designs and unnecessary css. This time there’s mobile responsiveness as well. Here’s a before vs after for you.

The app uses a gamified approach, including a simulator to learn projectile motion and a boss battle at the end of the unit, to make physics an enjoyable science class. The app currently has the first unit of AP Physics 1: Kinematics. Use the app You can play it at https://parallax-physics.vercel.app/ You can watch the DEMO video at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TFTet9wMoyI Why I built it I am a student interested in the STEM field. One class I hope to take is AP Physics C. In order to prepare for AP Physics C, I decided to take the AP Physics 1 course. A major gap I noticed in learning AP Physics 1 is the passive lessons from traditional textbooks and online courses. I often find myself reading long textbook chapters or watching several videos, leaving me bored with physics. I know that physics can involve simulations and labs, so I wanted to focus on the fun aspects of physics while still letting students prepare for the AP Physics 1 exam efficiently. Features Galaxy map: All of the lessons, including the final boss battle, are organized into a galaxy map. The map is shaped in a parabola, like a projectile’s path. 5 lessons: Each lesson is structured with multiple cards: a hook, concept, check questions, and a lesson summary. Some lessons have more concept and check cards than others. Students earn stars depending on the number of mistakes they make on the check cards. A student can earn a minimum of 1 star and a maximum of 3 stars on a completed lesson. Progression and high scores: Once the user completes a lesson and returns to the home screen, their highest number of stars for that lesson is displayed below the lesson button. This encourages students to redo lessons and review concepts in order to get a perfect star score. The lesson then unlocks the next lesson and lights up the path to it. Projectile simulator: Once a student unlocks lesson 1.5, they gain access to the simulator for projectile motion. They can use the simulator to experiment with different angles and speeds of a projectile to see how it affects the path the projectile takes. Boss battle: The boss battle unlocks after all 5 lessons are completed. Each correct answer earns one shot at the boss, and the student has to set the speed and angle of the projectile to hit the boss. A player defeats the boss when it is hit 10 times. The player can also have a highscore on the boss by answering questions 3 in a row and avoiding mistakes! Saved progress: The user’s stars are saved in their device’s browser. It will continue to stay saved as long as the user uses the exact same device. (This is also a next step!) Biggest challenge The biggest challenge I faced was completing the animation for the projectile motion simulator. My first attempt was to use a for loop that incremented time by 1 every time to keep the ball moving. But when it ran, the ball teleported to the end of the screen. I learned that JavaScript has a function called requestAnimationFrame which continues making a chain until requestAnimationFrame is not called. When I called requestAnimationFrame(drawFrame());, the page crashed with the error “Maximum call stack size exceeded” because drawFrame called itself instantly, forever. I learned that functions can be called in one of two ways: with parentheses, which run them instantly, or without parentheses, so another function calls them only at a certain time. Next, when I pressed the “fire” button two times, the speed doubled, because there was no condition to stop the chain after the projectile hit the ground. To fix this, I only allowed a call for the next frame when the ball was flying. What’s next The remain 7 units of AP Physics 1, user accounts on Supabase, and an AI tutor that gives hints instead of answers.", "repo": "https://github.com/Rishaan-Dukhande/parallax-physics", "demo": "https://parallax-physics.vercel.app/"}]...

The home button should just set up the screen. The event handlers are created for changing things ONLY after a lesson has been selected. At first, I merged everything into the home function, so it would display the second lesson and overwrite the first lesson. This means that the user is forced into the second lesson without a choice. (Second lesson was the last lesson currently developed) Oct 23, 2026 I forgot to use appendChild() to add all elements to the app. This is a reminder to use replaceChildren to empty a screen and appendChild() to add an element to the screen If you use two different variables to refer to the same button or element, and add an event listener to the different variables, there are multiple event listeners happening at once. This means that there should be only one event listener for every button, and you don’t call an event listener because it is a function that automatically runs when there is a “click” (the chosen input) Buttons should be set in a specific state when entering a screen, not at the top of a file where they are constantly enabled or disabled. This will make buttons not function properly Oct 24, 2026 I needed both the simulator.js and main.js files to check the same app element. I learned that we can use getElementById separately in both files to get and change the same element I practiced using export and import between the simulator.js and main.js files. I exported drawScene() and hitCount and imported them into main.js so that main.js can call the simulator Since main.js can’t change the hitCount in simulator.js but only see it, I used what a car odometer uses as well. I first find the number of hits the player has made and subtract it from the 10hp the boss starts with to display the boss’s health throughout the boss battle To check if an element has a class, you can use classList.contains() I had originally made the question list a local variable in showBossQuestion(). This was a problem because every single time the user presses the nextQuestionButton, a new question should be displayed. Finally, I created a drawFrame() function to actually paint the simulation so that it looks like the projectile is consistently moving to human eyes. Intro to Challenges: There were many bugs along the way. This included learning curves such as learning the requestAnimationFrame() function, making sliders, and even writing some part of CSS ! Oct 18, 2026 - Day 13, 1. One important concept is that the canvas starts (0,0) from the top left corner of the grid, so subtracting y actually makes an object/line move upward. 2. I learned to use the function beginPath() to create a new drawing object. Without using beginPath(), an drawing connects a the previous drawing to the new drawing with a line. Additionally, the fill() function needs to be used to actually draw a point. 3. I learned that css uses different punctuation for different rules: selector (plain word) - looks for elements with tag .selector - looks for elements whose classes list contains the word #selector - looks for the element with the ID :selector - does the css action only while it is in the state 4. You can test with console.log. When a function is just called by its name, it runs when another function tells it to: requestAnimationFrame(drawFrame) (no parentheses)! 2. I forgot to use the fill() function again. fill() is important because it actually “paints” the drawing. Oct 20, 2026 - Day 15, I got confused that y increases to make a drawing go downwards. This caused me to write the falling logic incorrectly. I switched the case where falling = true with falling = false. After making the falling variable, I wasn’t using it in any way. The falling variable also needed to be used in the eventHandler for the launch button to make sure that multiple cycles of drawFrame() weren’t running at the same time: a. When drawFrame() is run several times, it causes the speed to increase by n times as much if n represents the number of times you click the launch button To fix this, I used the falling variable in the EventHandler. I decided that it is easier to just not do anything if the button is in mid-flight and the user wants to re-launch the ball/projectile. Oct 21, 2026 - Day 16, Sliders are There are two events possible to use in an event listener (of a slider): a. “input” - a live update. The event triggers continously while a slider is being dragged b. “change” - only triggers and runs the event listener when you let go of the element (slider). This prevents changing while you are holding the slider Sliders don’t have a closing tag. They don’t have . This means that textContent can’t be used on sliders because they are not containers. Finally, I added function calls to main.js to use the functions in the functionality of the app. AI usage: used AI to help me understand concepts when I got stuck for over 5 minutes on a topic and test my code. In this specific session, I had a lot of obstacles, especially with learning new javascript functions and syntax. There were 6 attempts just to solve the progress.js page, and AI helped me understand javascript better, as shown in the key learnings below. Key Learnings: 1. You need to use the \"export\" keyword so that a function in one page can be used by other files 2. In javaScript, you don't have to manually create tables/lists like how you use the \"new\" keyword in java. If you say scores[\"math\"] = 60 and math does not exist, then it will create a new row called \"math\" in the table and assign the value of 60 to the key. 3. Through 6 attempts, I learned a lot of Java Script syntax features: a. A dot is used to get an attribute in javascript, something that belongs to an object. However, tables in javascript use brackets just like lists: table[]; b. You can save a whole table using .setItem(key, value). Remember that the value has to be a string. We can use .stringify(obj) for this. c. Javascript has two error words: null and undefined. Null happens from an intentionally missing object. For example, when an object has been declared but is empty. Undefined, by contrast, is used when the object has never been created and their is no instance of it. d. Extra JavaScript functions are as follows: i. stringify --> turn an object into a string ii. parse --> turn a string back into an object iii. setItem --> changes the item in a table iv. getItem --> gets the item currently in a table 4. If you need to import multiple things from the same page/file, you can use a comma in the import instead of using multiple lines. I have included colors to indicate wrong and write answers (that comes from the css) and I created 4 buttons that are clickable and display the answer choices. Additionally, I added stars to the lesson to act as the lesson score. This depends on their score on the lesson quiz. Key Learnings: When I gave the buttons the choice–correct or choice–wrong class, they now had a class and a property of disabled. The property for disabled buttons in CSS is button:disabled, which is more specific than just the .choice-correct class. This makes the CSS default to the rules in the button:disabled property, which dims the opacity. To fix this, I hand-coded a third class that works with both properties to keep the buttons fully highlighted in a color to indicate wrong and right. You can use the “”.repeat(n) function to repeat any string in the quotation marks n times in a row. Remember: It is easy to get confused with spelling. The property is .disabled (past tense). This should also be used in correct ways. It is important to think about when something should or shouldn’t be disabled (common mistake today). Home screen + Learning React/HTML For the first few hours of the project, I spent directing AI on how to create an amazing AI tutor. However, I decided to restart from scratch to create an app that is self-coded. I worked on the new app from scratch for 2 hours, and I was able to create one lesson. I focused on the lesson structure and added a start, next, and back button. I am planning to focus on the structure of the app before appealing to aesthetics.
Make the App look good! Today, I added a stylesheet (made by AI) to make my app look more modern and appealing. Since I am coding the structure of the app, this is ok. Along the way, I learned how to incorporate CSS as classes in both HTML and JavaScript. I also learned that JavaScript uses the classListadd method to add classes, while HTML is just a direct type-in. I am hoping to learn more CSS in the process. My next step is to add new components such as a sidebar and more interactive features.
Day 9 - Creating the first lesson + quiz Today, I created the official first lesson of parallax. The first lesson follows the AP Physics 1 college curriculum. This starts with the Kinematics Unit. The first topic covered in the unit is Scalars and Vectors. Learned: 1. Today I learned that we use the === operator to check if both the datatype and value of two variables being compared is the exact same. 2. I also learned that when creating elements in a .js file, you can name elements anything, such as questionText instead of “p”. #I finished Parallax! Oct 25, 2026 - Day 20! Today, I focused on some finishing touches. I added SVG lines to connect all the lesson nodes in the home galaxy. A completed lesson draws a solid cyan line towards the next lesson. Incomplete lessons have a faded dashed line connection between them. The lines connect in a parabolic shape. I also completed the README and made a video to showcase my project! Key Learnings: To draw lines using SVG, you need to use the createElementNS(ns, “object(usually line)”) function. Then, you can set attributes for the (x1, y1) and (x2,y2) coordinates to draw a line. Parallax Physics Tutor Parallax is a physics tutor for students interested in learning the AP Physics 1 curriculum. What’s next The remain 7 units of AP Physics 1, user accounts on Supabase, and an AI tutor that gives hints instead of answers....

Got chat and usernames working
Added local server broadcasting When you host a game, it will constantly send a small packet to 255.255.255.255, which gets sent to every device in the local network. Its a small little packet that simply contains the server’s username and the port their hosting on. Clients can pick up this packet, and it gets displayed so you can join easily. Started Pixel Art as a new feature for Doodle, built with HTML, CSS, and vanilla JavaScript. Added a pixel canvas, adjustable resolutions, color palette, pencil, eraser, fill, and eyedropper tools, grid toggle, transparent backgrounds, and PNG export. Improved fast-stroke drawing with pixel interpolation, fixed immediate Fill rendering, handled transparent pixels in the eyedropper, prevented unnecessary undo history entries, and added Redo alongside Undo.
Rebuilt Pixel Art as it was built using alot AI because it was hard to implement, but still I now rebuilt it.
Pixel canvas dimensions bug fixed, and rewrote whole js as suggested by the shipwright.

I practiced building the core structure of my pomodoro timer using HTML, I worked with standard layout tags like and also text inputs and buttons. I also created a separate file to practice and experiment with different tags and functions. Next, I want to build the real skeleton for my webpage.
After a bit of tweaking, I was able to complete the structure for my pomodoro webpage. I had to watch many tutorials and go through articles to figure out the right classes to use. I was able to correctly format the layout as well as making the buttons clickable. I kept forgetting to add closing tags which was frustrating because it messed up some of my code. Next, I plan on using CSS to polish this page to make it look neat and organized!
I finally finished the CSS, in the middle of the project I encountered an error that stumped me for a long time, my entire webpage kept showing a blank white screen but in the end I was able to identify the problem and fix it. After adjusting some margins padding, I used complimentary to not overwhelm users, I also tried to be as minimal as possible.
I am currently testing out different algorithms and laying down the javascript logic for my project as I am rather new to javascript. I worked on creating functions, loops, and conditional statements to further enhance my webpage. Next session, I plan to implement and use this knowledge in my current webpage
After countless of trials and errors in my latest development, I integrated many new features to the webpage. Easy right? for users not me lol . see the poc : distroller list distroller use 1 (here 1 means the 1st moniter like for laptop , it is eDP-1, while the other moniters will turn off maybe? define the state in distroller.conf ) distroller use 2 (HDMI-A-1) distroller use 1,2… (it gives each moniter diff workspace) distroller use 1,2 –share (it makes both share a workspace but more like a single monitor ) distroller use 1,2 –copy (show the same thing) i made it a codeblock but the comments () arent valid so dont copy these things , now imma gonna start building the base so built the initial struct , btw i used u8 for height and width at first but it doesnt store 1920 or 1080 so i used u16 as it is better than u32 atleast i think so , also i used f32 for the refreash rate as hyprland give things like 59.64 sometimes , wait wtf am i explain? its basics nah i dont needa explain, nah, i’wd build . ok added another struct to copy the vals to new struct wait wait , why am i such a fool? why did i made a struct to js push a value to next struct? wait i again figured a thing , i can js follow the hyprctl output’s structure lol , [erox@archbtw ~]$ hyprctl monitors -j [{ “id”: 0, “name”: “eDP-1”, “description”: “BOE 0x094A”, “make”: “BOE”, “model”: “0x094A”, “width”: 1920, “height”: 1080, “physicalWidth”: 340, “physicalHeight”: 190, “refreshRate”: 60.00400, “x”: 0, “y”: 0, “activeWorkspace”: { “id”: 1, “name”: “1” }, { “id”: 1, “name”: “HDMI-A-1”, “description”: “XXX HDMI”, “make”: “XXX”, “model”: “HDMI”, “serial”: “”, “width”: 1920, “height”: 1080, “physicalWidth”: 10, “physicalHeight”: 10, “refreshRate”: 60.00000, “x”: 1280, “y”: 0, “activeWorkspace”: { “id”: 4, “name”: “4” },] [erox@archbtw ~]$ made the best struct pub struct Disp { pub name: String, pub refreshRate: f32, pub w: u16, pub h: u16, pub focused: bool, pub disabled: bool, } now just gonna fetch frm the hyprctl output and print done ok added the code to run hyprlctl monitors -j and fetch the info , but then i got err js because i forgot to add the deserializer and then after i fixed lol cargo toml didnt have derde lol , and now i imported it as macro another lol , and now i forgot to import the feature deserialize with serde . bruh this time i js got a err of version mismatch tht was added by cargo , how life can be worser? ohhh it worked finally : but wait the 2nd moniter was supposed to be 100hz default , ik its downsampled because of the other moniter , anyways i ’ll fix tht later hmhm now imma gonna make the other features . okk broke main.rs and made ls.rs and main.rs , currently i kept the hypr func (the one to execute hyprctl with structed args as u want ) in ls as idh any hypr.rs , but i will soon move tht to somewhere else as ls.rs is for listing only , yeah thts why i named it ls , i didnt steal the name of ls bash command , wait i kinda did to be honest .ok after a lot of research , i found hyprctl eval ‘hl.monitor({ output = “eDP-1”, disabled = true })’ works to turn of the display so i can make a function inside my new io.rs and use it to turn off on on the display hmhm. now imma gonna work on the turn off and on function done it works , i js used hyprctl command to do it , it wasnt much hard after finding some repos i found this hyprctl eval ‘hl.monitor({ output = “eDP-1”, disabled = true })’ it ran well so i made a file named io.rs and implanted on main done and now it works though its not usable on terminal , cargo run does the work fine ."}]...

Easy right? for users not me lol . see the poc : distroller list distroller use 1 (here 1 means the 1st moniter like for laptop , it is eDP-1, while the other moniters will turn off maybe? define the state in distroller.conf ) distroller use 2 (HDMI-A-1) distroller use 1,2… (it gives each moniter diff workspace) distroller use 1,2 –share (it makes both share a workspace but more like a single monitor ) distroller use 1,2 –copy (show the same thing) i made it a codeblock but the comments () arent valid so dont copy these things , now imma gonna start building the base so built the initial struct , btw i used u8 for height and width at first but it doesnt store 1920 or 1080 so i used u16 as it is better than u32 atleast i think so , also i used f32 for the refreash rate as hyprland give things like 59.64 sometimes , wait wtf am i explain? its basics nah i dont needa explain, nah, i’wd build . ok added another struct to copy the vals to new struct wait wait , why am i such a fool? why did i made a struct to js push a value to next struct? wait i again figured a thing , i can js follow the hyprctl output’s structure lol , [erox@archbtw ~]$ hyprctl monitors -j [{ “id”: 0, “name”: “eDP-1”, “description”: “BOE 0x094A”, “make”: “BOE”, “model”: “0x094A”, “width”: 1920, “height”: 1080, “physicalWidth”: 340, “physicalHeight”: 190, “refreshRate”: 60.00400, “x”: 0, “y”: 0, “activeWorkspace”: { “id”: 1, “name”: “1” }, { “id”: 1, “name”: “HDMI-A-1”, “description”: “XXX HDMI”, “make”: “XXX”, “model”: “HDMI”, “serial”: “”, “width”: 1920, “height”: 1080, “physicalWidth”: 10, “physicalHeight”: 10, “refreshRate”: 60.00000, “x”: 1280, “y”: 0, “activeWorkspace”: { “id”: 4, “name”: “4” },] [erox@archbtw ~]$ made the best struct pub struct Disp { pub name: String, pub refreshRate: f32, pub w: u16, pub h: u16, pub focused: bool, pub disabled: bool, } now just gonna fetch frm the hyprctl output and print done ok added the code to run hyprlctl monitors -j and fetch the info , but then i got err js because i forgot to add the deserializer and then after i fixed lol cargo toml didnt have derde lol , and now i imported it as macro another lol , and now i forgot to import the feature deserialize with serde . bruh this time i js got a err of version mismatch tht was added by cargo , how life can be worser? ohhh it worked finally : but wait the 2nd moniter was supposed to be 100hz default , ik its downsampled because of the other moniter , anyways i ’ll fix tht later hmhm now imma gonna make the other features . okk broke main.rs and made ls.rs and main.rs , currently i kept the hypr func (the one to execute hyprctl with structed args as u want ) in ls as idh any hypr.rs , but i will soon move tht to somewhere else as ls.rs is for listing only , yeah thts why i named it ls , i didnt steal the name of ls bash command , wait i kinda did to be honest .ok after a lot of research , i found hyprctl eval ‘hl.monitor({ output = “eDP-1”, disabled = true })’ works to turn of the display so i can make a function inside my new io.rs and use it to turn off on on the display hmhm. now imma gonna work on the turn off and on function done it works , i js used hyprctl command to do it , it wasnt much hard after finding some repos i found this hyprctl eval ‘hl.monitor({ output = “eDP-1”, disabled = true })’ it ran well so i made a file named io.rs and implanted on main done and now it works though its not usable on terminal , cargo run does the work fine .
added another feature it does the scaling thing , hm so i used hyprctl eval 'hl.monitor({ output = "eDP-1", scale = 1.0 })' hyprctl commands obviously and scaled the monitors i think now imma gonna add separate display scaling , not a prob for me as i still havent implanted any cli commands , but also i added refresh rate impl too in the io.rs js didnt used tht in main.rs gonna do tht soon check the video here “ https://youtu.be/PTmcT2p5NYg ”
ok now i am working on it to use it as cli tool not js cargo run and pray so i think i will start with passing a value in cargo for now .ok did some work and got the refresh rate thing working too , now cargo run –list , cargo run – scale and refresh works , and works pretty fine i will need to add some restrictions because scalling max is 10 , higher gives hypr err , higher ref rate on external hdmi = no signal also disabling eDP kills the waybar too oh thts my fault lemme fix my own waybar , done took a lil time but fixed , also i changed hyprctl monitors -j to hyprctl monitors all -j because after disabling one moniter , hyprctl monitors was ignoring the disabled one
ok added some restrictions and it works yay!
this time i am making a shared window for both monitors so user can move mouse between them , after a lot of trail and err , in main.rs then in terminal and then in arch wiki finally pulled it off , safe position is 1290x0 for m2 and m1 will be 0x0 but its for 1.5x scaling not 1x or diff , oh now i need to make it diff for scaling’s too ahh god it sucks
ok so made a new formula for the workspace logic , its easy res(len)*scale^(-1) + c and here frm my tests i got c=10 for 1080p monitors. It works flawlessly in my setup but i still havent tested it on diff moniters so cant say its universal .okk added shr.rs and the logic is clean af . js do basic math easy , i made c configureable with a integer pass , pass the val of c and youre good , to go but i still havent decided vals for c for other setups , lets them try lol .bruh i added use fn branch after command and wondering , why i am getting unknown command “use” lol.wow got an error thread 'main' (15889) panicked at src/ls.rs:32:10:cant parse monitor data: Error("missing field `available`", line: 45, column: 1)note: run with `RUST_BACKTRACE=1` environment variable to display a backtrace[erox@archbtw distroller]$ ok pretty good , there was a prob with the avalible in the struct in ls but i js used serde def haha always false if no val , i have hyprctl monitors all -j so nothing to worry anyways it works now
ok so i saw when i use the share , it scales the monitors differently so we need to pass both , dont change scale and then do it , and if scale changed then revert the scale , i use arch btw , i am pro .ok use works flawlessly now , anyways found a bug , i cant use 100hz on my hdmi monitor tht supports 100hz i have no fking idea why but i cant so needa fix tht . wow i am such a idiot , changed the vec in ls then thought shld push so reverted then changed in io and now suffering lol anyways gotta fix tht bruh wtf i am getting prob on refreshrate , tht right but i named a full struct wrong and hyprctl doesnt parse tht correctly so i am getting no sup on 100hz lol , do i even have more than 1 braincel? ok after rechaingin my vec to string to vec to string to vec i finally got it to work lol . kk removed the training wheels , i mean println for helping me done

OHH DONE , i made the PKGBUild and it WORKS , now i can publish it to aur too , i js need a readme now hell yeah
wow what a idiot i aam , forgot to add the use in helps lol , fixed tht anyways , now i will publish it to aur and gonna write a readme ahh i cant push to aur , its denying my public key anyways i think i will make the video first before pushing on aur ok done all things , now js readme and then done , see the demo vid and we are ready to ship :“ https://youtu.be/UKzd1IbrFVo ”
wrote the readme and the PKGBUILD , did a lot of tries , but still wasnt able to put the video in readme so gonna use the yt link
Ships:
Distroller is a rust based hyprland exclusive cli tool , it manages displays in a normal hyprland setup , check out my repo for more info abt the commands , also there is a demo video , showing how distroller works on my pc(dual moniter one internal laptop one and 2nd is hdmi 100hz 1080p) , heres the link : “ https://youtu.be/UKzd1IbrFVo ” see the installation steps mentioned in readme to install it in your arch...
