I started by making sure the project is even doable-by using https://github.com/VihangaNethmaka/MIDI-To-Arduino-Converter to play a midi file using a buzzer. And it worked! But it didn’t handle pauses at all, which is something that I’ll have to fix
Tried more midi files, I will soon begin working on fixing the python script to handle note pauses
Changed the python script to take arguments instead of having a hardcoded filename, and made it not skip the rests in the midi file! I also, obviously, made it play the song of the boss of deltarune chapter 5 :D Also, I made sure to run a command that deletes all non-ascii characters at the end of the script, so that the Arduino compiler can read it normally...

Devlog #001 Currently working on the QR code system. Set up OpenCV and numpy and wrote a quick script to improve QR reading (will refine later). Currently working on the URL analysis stage. So far I’ve set up 4 different checks: URL shortener, no TLS, bait words and impersonation. Currently the impersonation stage still has some flaws but I’m working on it!
Devlog #002 Finished up the URL analysis system and also expanded the lists for brands, shorteners and bait words that will be identified by the analysis. There are currently 4 checks different types of checks in place (shorteners, no TLS, bait words and impersonation), and 5 parts to the impersonation check process. Thank goodness for AI because if I had to manually find each of these brands I would go crazy.
Devlog #003 Finished the WIFI analysis segment. Not as much can be done here as compared to URL analysis. Next I’m working on the remaining categories: Crypto, Tel/Sms and Text.
Devlog #004 Finished up telephone, SMS and crypto analysis pathways. I have text analysis left which I’m not too sure how I should do but after that I think I will move on to the design / website of the program itself. Found some public information such as Google libphonenumber which is where I got my lists of data for detecting paid phone lines among other things.
Devlog #005 I decided to leave the text for now and work on putting the pieces together and making the website functional. I’m still debating whether to have it as a website or an app, I feel like an app would be more useful but I’m going to go with website for now as its much easier.
Devlog #006 Finished up text analysis and also modified website so that you can directly paste in a message instead of having to go through a QR code. I might expand more regarding the text analysis part and then I’ll move on to OCR.
**Devlog #007 ** Added OCR!...
