Today I polished the NOVA Break popup UI and launched a live demo. While testing, I realized screenshots don’t really capture the effect. NOVA Break is all about how the black hole slowly appears and grows over time, so I wanted people to experience it instantly instead of just looking at images. Before the blackhole is becoming worse it become double ring and the unusual rings form from the blackhole and when it is perfect like the 3rd image the machine lags i need to fix all the issues and the main issue is the script doesnt gets injected i need to fix this main issue
I fixed the issue where it doesnt injects back the script u need to refresh the page and after some close research i found out i need to fix the permissions in the config and now its fixed guys now maybe its an end to this project .

Devlog 0: 27.06.25 . Started my project today, I want to make a gym logger because Google Sheets is really uninspiring to work with. I thought of differentiating myself from other loggers by including options for very specific inputs. Most loggers I’ve seen only let you input weight and reps, and don’t let you log RIR, RPE, rest times, etc. and/or don’t support stuff like dropsets, supersets, cluster sets, etc. . I’m a complete beginner to coding so I spent some time watching a Python tutorial on YT and learned about print statements and variable types. . The UI looks beautiful doesn’t it ⌄ (I only set up the environment today)
I started making the form screen for inputting a workout. First I wrote out a huge list of all the workout details, exercise details, and set metrics I wanted to include. It took a while to research and copy down all the different types of nonsense lifters do and record… I don’t think my list is comprehensive yet. Also, I think I’m overly sad because all that work counted as 0min of time logged :/ . I also added a text section that generates a random cheesy gym-related quote whenever the user adds a new workout, and I wrote out 25 of them.
I added forms for users to input exercises and sets into my logger, the key function. I included all the different set metrics that I brainstormed yesterday. My original idea to differentiate my app from all others was including all the bells and whistles, a lot of workout trackers don’t let you input minor details like rest times, ROM, etc. Right now it’s a sprawling mess; I’m planning a settings page where users can choose which to include. . Devlog Title: Pointhole by @lu2000luk | Stardance
Devlogs:
Initial types and websocket connection
Basic file exploring working, implemented LS command and general networking
Copy paste working! (also fixed bugs and expanded the future types)
Top bar menu, deletions and code cleanup/bug fixes
Uploads
Random reads working! (ui bug: the thread segfaults when reading more than 9k bytes inside the debugging window, shouldnt be a problem since the usage of random reads will be pretty much automatic and will be done in chunks)
Uploading and renaming
git commit style editor!
Transfers window with progress bar
Create folder
Fixed small bugs. Since yesterday I did all my changes on Linux they had lots of issues on linux (uploads and downloads had the most problems). Now it’s all fixed (hopefully)
UI Improvements: Disable viewports (caused issues) Disable Docking (I dont like it) Fix top bar bg-color and border Change window bg color (want to make it a nice shader in the future)
Long story short yesterday’s UI improvements got lost (I was reverting a commit since the thing I added was broken but I forgot to commit the UI improvements before so they got lost) I re-made them quickly and added Demo mode (I will have a public demo instance so y’all can try it!)
New theme (got it online) and Icons! (Used AI to convert from SVG to imgui.Drawlist)
Added github mirror and made some github actions to build both client and server for linux and windows and upload them to my CDN (I will later make a nice install script that pulls them)
Added install scripts! And updated readme. Took long since i switched from .bat to .ps1 and also whoever made env vars on windows should be subject to the same stuff i went truh. Apparently using “setx” on a long env var cuts it FROM THE BEGINNING so it bricked my PC (Removed system32 from path) and fortunately i had a vscode terminal with the old env vars still open so i was able to recover some but I had some more issues so I had to “nest” env vars. Everything is fixed except the recyle bin (shows random filenames when asking for deletion confirmation). For this and some other reasons I switched the scripts to powershell after I made them since the powershell API is much more mature. (shoutout to the guy who wants longer devlogs he finally has one with a story, the project is almost done tho!)
Added a simple about window and got the demo server running (mainly so that people who rate the project have an easy time doing so). Also there is a little easter egg in the demo server so if anyone reads this: the client binaries are already compiled so if you want to check it out it should be pretty easy (the demo code is in the readme)
Fixed a permission bug for editing files and also fixed a freeze problem that was pretty common on windows. Also started adding last commit hash to the scripts’s download urls since cloudflare caching is so aggressive!!!
Made a big part of the site. Made all 3d models by hand on blender. Working with threejs and react is so hardddd (literally 3hrs of trial and errors). why did i decide to make a 3d site for a file browser ??? idk… Doing anything remotely fun in threejs is very hard so the site has some small interactive parts but its very limited as of now.
Statically linked windows client binaries Added script to auto-update install scripts cache commit hash [AI] Made the script able to install commit hooks for itself Added Justfiles for compiling locally and general utils Future things to look into: more windows issues (I’d bet my house there are more) add win resources to client binaries for windows (Icon, description … with https://github.com/tc-hib/go-winres ) submit app for malware verification to https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/wdsi/filesubmission?persona=SoftwareDeveloper (Go binaries are usually flagged)
Added winres (also to CI): generates the windows executable resources file and applies it [assets converted and resized by AI agent, i made the original “art” (if you can call a black circle so…)]
Continued the site a little bit with custom fonts and plaques for “server” and “client”. For now while I still develop it you can see the website at https://pointhole.vercel.app/
Added a scripts modal and a button on the 3d scene to open it (design reminds a lot of those chinese websites that are clearly made to be rendered with chinese chars etc but look uncanny on our screens)
Upload to pastebin feature. Also optimized the website removing an image download (since its not visible) that added 10mb to the bundle (and to the vercel bill). Also added the correct cursor on hover of the 3d buttons.
ADDED SSH!!! You can now connect to the server’s terminal. Just click a button and the SSH will be ran locally on your machine with auto-forwarding to the relay Fixed various warnings Added demo button to top bar Added CLI args to change the relay host (both server and client) and to prefill the demo code (client) Demo has no SSH support yet, I will add it / block it on demo servers
PTY support! (Took a day break to do other life things such as going outside and playing CS2) Now pty is supported (stuff like DPI and pixel dimensions aren’t sent but that not really required for most uses). Took such a long time since while doing it I cleaned up a bit of the old code.
Ships:
Pointhole 1.0.0 A complete suite to explore and control your remote servers in a click! Tools like IDEs provide access to remote servers but it usually requires installing 100+ mbs clients and sometimes you just want to get the work done quickly… So to fix this I built Pointhole! Features: Explore files Download/Upload files Edit files with your own IDE ““SSH”” into your server (You can use any terminal!) Demo server for everyone to try out! Nice 3D website Install scripts Multiplatform (Win/Linux) All of the above without needing port forwarding! To connect to the demo server hover the “Demo” top bar option and click “Connect to demo server”...

I have added to my website the following sections: New, Products (the pear ecosystem), a carrousel which contains more products ( have to correct it), Innovation and The Headquarters of Pear. I’ll continue adding sections to my website. Any ideas?
I added a menu to go faster through the website (it has a hover) an I also used a little bit of Java Script so when you do click on the main title, it directs you to the “News” section.
I just created some code so that when someone do click on both products and innovation cards they open to fill most of the screen, allowing the user to see better them.
I created another section which is called “About Pear”. It contains the most important info about the company.
I just added a section for the green actions of the company. It includes some goals and stuff company have done. The cards have the same code than the other products.
I added a section with a few opinions (fake) of the company and its products. Doing this I used the blockquote, learning how to use it. I also add the footer with the typical stuff it has.

I created a web inspired in Apple (using a pear instead of an apple). I enjoyed doing it because it’s one of my first webs, an I think I have learned a lot of things...

I made another little thing for my site: a small top-down scene with a character, a tree, some particles, and a short interaction. I’m not going to spoil what actually happens in the scene. If you want to see that part, you’ll have to find it yourself. What it is It’s a single-page top-down scene made with vanilla JS and CSS. You can walk around, interact with things, and eventually get sent somewhere else. There’s also some collision, particles, animations, and a few other small details that make it feel a little less like a static webpage. Some problems I ran into One of the first problems was correctly setting the tree’s size. I had multiple things affecting its scale at once, which resulted in it being way bigger than it was supposed to be. Once I figured out what was actually controlling its size, it was a pretty easy fix. The collision was another one. The hitboxes didn’t always line up with what was actually on screen, so I ended up making a small hitbox editor to make placing them much easier. It can also save and export the hitbox data, which made testing things a lot less painful. I also had to figure out how to keep the world consistent when resizing the browser. This ended up being one of the more annoying parts, since quite a few things depended on the screen size. Getting the background, movement, and collision to all agree took a few attempts. There were also the usual animation problems. The character could keep walking against a wall, or quickly tapping a key could make the animation look weird, just your average game engine errors. Nothing particularly complicated, but definitely the kind of stuff you don’t notice until you actually start playing it. Then there was the tree layering. I wanted the character to be able to walk behind the tree while still appearing in front of the leaves, which took a surprisingly long time to get looking right. I ended up doing some slightly weird CSS/image layering instead of making completely separate sprites for everything. And, of course, there were a bunch of tiny mistakes along the way. Typos, duplicated code, things being in the wrong layer, and a few cases where something looked completely broken for no obvious reason. Basically, normal web development. What was easier than expected Once the basic systems were working, adding smaller things became pretty easy. The particle effects were simple to tweak, rectangular hitboxes were straightforward to add, and the dialogue UI was mostly just a matter of adjusting some CSS until it looked right. What was harder than expected The biggest surprise was how many things depended on the screen size. Something that sounds as simple as making the world stay the same size ended up affecting a lot more than I expected. There was also a lot more manual work involved than I originally thought, especially when preparing some of the visual assets and getting the different layers of the tree to work together. A few things I left as they are The world is based on the screen size when it’s first loaded, so it isn’t necessarily identical on every device and may break on some (sorry!). For something this small, I don’t really mind. It’s meant to be a little hidden scene on my website, not a full game. There’s also still a debug option for the hitboxes in the code. It’s useful when I’m working on the scene, so I kept it around. And yes, this is an easter egg. Initially, I used AI to help create a few different templates, then experimented with modifying the ones I liked most. Eventually, though, I stopped relying on templates and started actually learning HTML, CSS, and JavaScript myself. I also took inspiration from websites and services like Linktree and other personal websites I came across, while gradually developing my own style. A few months later, I applied for the GitHub Student Developer Pack. On July 15, 2026, I used it to claim my .me domain through Namecheap for one year. That was the point where the project started feeling much more like a real personal website rather than an experiment. For the redesign, I took a different approach. Before writing the code, I designed the entire website in Photoshop. I wanted to have a clear idea of the layout and the final concept before I started implementing it. Having the whole design in front of me made it much easier to turn the idea into an actual website. Once I had the motivation to work on it, I went all in. I spent around four to five hours a day working on the redesign, tweaking details, fixing things that bothered me, and gradually turning the original concept into something I was genuinely proud of. After the main redesign was finished, I started adding more personal touches and Easter eggs. Those small details became one of my favorite parts of the project because they made the site feel less like a generic portfolio and more like something that actually belonged to me. Despite using AI during the early stages of the project, I barely used it in the versions that were actually deployed. I only used it once or twice, mainly for debugging and for writing GitHub push descriptions. Most of the final website was built by me, through everything I learned while working on it, obviously taking much inspiration from Toby Fox and Temmie Chang’s works. This (and probably the final) version is made up of 2 main pages: A more “professional” index page, which has most of my socials, and some brief introductions, my skills, hobbies and whatnot; The redesign, the actual CORE ;) of the website, but I’m not going to tell you how to get to it or what’s in it :P, it’s up to you to figure out what else is there. Looking back, the project has been a really fun experience. It started as a simple personal website, but along the way it became a way for me to learn web development, experiment with design, and build something that I could genuinely call my own. For my upcoming drone machine learning project, I have developed an autonomous navigation game where a drone must learn to dodge obstacles. This is really crucial for the drone to do in real life because environments can be unpredictable with trees, moving vehicles, and birds.
Just finished some documentation with lapse for my recent sub-project

Working On fixing the lag caused by the advance gravity effects
UPDATE — Multiplayer is live (online, with room codes) Summary Blackhole.io is now real online multiplayer. Create a room, share the code, and someone on another device joins and you can actually eat each other. Not bots — real people. Breakdown moved the whole game simulation onto a server so it’s authoritative (server decides what’s real, clients can’t cheat) clients now only send their mouse target; the server sends back everyone’s positions create/join a room with a short code, each room is its own isolated game added interpolation so other players move smoothly instead of teleporting between updates bots still fill empty rooms so it’s never a dead lobby deployed the server to Render and the game page to GitHub Pages, wired together over WebSockets What fought me The networking logic wasn’t even the hard part — deploying it was. Bunch of small things that each looked like the whole thing was broken. Once the client finally connected to the live server and I saw a second black hole move on my screen, that was the moment. Note: Server May Take some time to start up
UPDATE — CSS rebuild + progression system. Review sent it back saying my CSS looked too AI-made, so I rebuilt the styling myself and actually learned how it works — set up a color palette with variables and re-themed the whole game in one line to prove it. While I was in there I added a progression system: tokens you earn each run and keep between games, side quests for bonus tokens, a cosmetics shop (colors and orbiting shapes, no pay-to-win), and an end-of-run plinko round that multiplies your run tokens (minimum 1x, so you can never lose them), plus arrow-key/WASD movement and a pause button. Biggest headache was the plinko ball not landing in a slot — the physics were using the display size instead of the canvas’s real size — fixed once I matched them.
Big redesign + feature passRepainted the whole UI — it was reading way too “safe dark-mode template,” so it’s now themed around eclipse observation expeditions instead: brass, khaki, oxide colors, stencil title font, manifest-style panels. Gameplay’s untouched, just the look changed. Also shipped a bunch of stuff that had been on the list:personal best (mass + survival time) on the menusettings: quality toggle, volume slider, minimap on/offkill streak popup when you’re on a rollfree color picker for your holefirst-time tutorial popupauto-lowers quality if your fps tankspower-ups: speed, magnet, shieldtimed matches and last-hole-standing modeteams (red vs blue), no friendly firedaily challenge — same seeded world for everyone each dayFound and fixed two real bugs while testing: the shop wasn’t updating your token count after a purchase, and timed matches were miscalculating rank when multiple people hit the clock at once.
Spent this session on polish and cleanup. Reworked the UI and CSS myself — set up a color palette with variables so the whole game re-themes from one place, and simplified a lot of the styling. Also fixed a performance bug: the game ran fine in Safari but lagged in Chrome. Turned out canvas shadow-blur is way slower in Chromium, so I cut it off the small stuff (dust, particles) and leaned on the additive glow instead. Runs smooth now. Still fixing the plinko bonus round and cleaning things up. More soon.
Turned out if you’d already played a round and went back to the menu, you’d hear every bot in the background eating dust at full volume — the sound code treated “nobody’s watching” as “max volume” instead of silent. Fixed. Also added a pile of new stuff to actually do out there: dash (E key, quick burst forward, costs mass), wormholes that teleport you across the map, random supernova blasts that shove everything outward, a gravity slingshot off planets for a free speed boost, slow mass decay if you’re running away with the lead, a shockwave when you eat something way smaller than you, and a token bounty on whoever’s currently #1.
Fixed the big bug where growing your hole past a certain size would whiteout the entire screen — turned out the camera and the glow effects were both scaling wrong at high mass. While I was in there I added a bunch of new stuff: kill cam replays when you die, comets and binary planets that mess with gravity, a tracker that shows when a rogue hole is hunting you, and permanent achievements on top of the regular quests. Hosts can also now tweak gravity strength, arena size, and bot count before opening a station. Caught and fixed a couple of sneaky bugs along the way too, like eat sounds losing their punch on big absorbs. It’s all live on the GitHub Pages link now.
aug 29 completely remade the banner today — scrapped the old one and rebuilt it from scratch so it actually holds together. after that i cleaned up the code, tidying things up and cutting out the rough bits, and did some general improvements across the game while i was in there. more features coming soon.
1 September Today i completely redesigned the UI and also added two new features Different Type of foods A SpeedRun mode On top of that cleaned up the repo and fixed some minor issues here and there
Changed the Game Completely and moved onto another game idea as the other one didn’t seem to be working out heres a sneak peek below
Binned the black hole game after about a day and started Quarry instead. You’re a scientist who got kidnapped for something you built, they took your limbs, and you escape by tearing limbs off whatever you can find. Animal ones jump higher and hit harder, but the guards can see you’re not human anymore, which is basically the whole game. First playable version was rubbish. Every gap was too wide to clear, so you couldn’t actually finish it. Since then I’ve added five zones, a king to fight at the end, guns you loot off dead guards, and a silencer you build out of a sleeve, a spring and an oiled rag. Also spent way too long moving the gun sprite up four pixels because at hip height it looked like something else.
Guns are in. You take one off the first guard you kill, and firing it wakes the whole zone so you build a silencer out of a sleeve, a spring and an oily rag. The king’s an actual fight now too, he winds up before every move so you can dodge it and one of them rips a limb off you and chucks it on the floor. He used to one-shot you if you’d gone full animal, so that’s gone. Checkpoints on every zone now, plus a pile of daft bugs fixed.

Got the basics sorted out and implemented a nice window that can be dragged around. I’ll be able to start developing the features for each one now, planning on having four in total.
Got a clock and calculator working, pretty easy as I’ve done all this before. But now for the troll part- the clock can random freeze up and will require clicking to unfreeze (will add a visual cue in the future) and the Trollculator™ has a 50% of displaying a random meme number instead of the answer.
Made the notepad and the browser- the notepad has a chance to replace one of your characters with another character while you type, and the browser is surprisingly troll-free (for now). I also made it possible to close each window and separately open them with the buttons on the left.
More trolls have been added to make TrollOS feel more alive and annoying. You will now be constantly pestered with popups, and additionally, the buttons for the windows will try to dodge your cursor when you go to click on it. I can’t think of a way for the dodging to work on touchscreen, so you win, touchscreen users. If you idle for too long, a unique pop up will also come up- won’t spoil too much of that. Overall, I think this will do for now. I’ll start working on making everything look better and polishing things up, and that should be it!
I’m happy to say that TrollOS has been touched up, brand new desktop icons, clean calculator UI, and a nice effect where the window grows larger when clicked on. Should be good to ship!
I have returned, with two new features to show off! First of all, a music player, looping none other than “Monkey Spinning Monkeys.” As always, there is a twist, and the volume bar will slowly creep down when you aren’t touching it. The paint tool changes colors randomly, and will sometimes make you draw a wobbly line. This took a bit of tinkering to get working, the wobble didn’t really look like what I had in mind at first, but I’m quite happy with it now!
Last major feature has been added- a rage inducing version of flappy bird with floaty and unreliable controls. You also randomly lose points sometimes. If you manage to get to ten points, the troll gods might give you a blessing 👀 Added unique textures for the rare popups that dodge your cursor, along with two new popups with unique behaviors. If you find popups too annoying, you can always disable them at the bottom. ;)

I have created the TrollOS- the most optimized and efficient OS that does no amounts of trolling whatsoever. It has 4 regular games (maybe more soon o.O?): Reaction time test, wordle, stack, snake, and two pass-the-phone games: tic-tac-toe and also wrong answers only. Please try it out before you rate this is you’re rating it, it doesn’t look the absolute best, but it is fun (i promise) Oh there are also 160 words in wordle so ooo lah lah.

Some of my favorite commands are /koi-user, which generates a card with information about a selected user, /koi-sound, which lets you choose and listen to animal sounds, and /koi-tts, which converts text into spoken audio. The most challenging part was definitely /koi-user. I wanted the bot to generate a custom image with information about a user, but working with Canvas in JavaScript was much harder than I expected. I ran into a lot of errors, especially with positioning and generating the image correctly. I also experimented with Python and JavaScript communicating with each other before eventually deciding to keep the image generation in JavaScript. There were many moments where fixing one error somehow created another one. 😭 I’m proud that I managed to keep working on the project even when some parts became really frustrating. I learned a lot about Slack commands, modals, APIs, image generation, audio, and organizing a larger JavaScript project. /koi-user was especially satisfying because it went from being a huge mess of errors to actually working.", "repo": "https://github.com/Hallow303/MySlackBot", "demo": "https://hackclub.enterprise.slack.com/archives/C0BJ6DKPT36"}, {"ship_num": 2, "ts": "2026-07-14T22:21:44Z", "hours": 4.0, "multiplier": null, "payout": 0, "blessing": "neutral", "text": "I created a Slack bot using JavaScript. My bot features nine commands, including /koi-ping, which replies with “Pong!” to check if the bot is online; /koi-apod, which uses the NASA API to send the Astronomy Picture of the Day; commands like /koi-cat, /koi-dog, /koi-fox, and /koi-duck, which use APIs to send random animal images; /koi-sound, which sends MP3 animal sounds; /koi-say, which repeats the user’s message; and /koi-tts, which converts text to speech using Microsoft Edge TTS. To develop the project, I used various APIs, primarily to fetch images from NASA and of animals. I also worked with audio files to implement the commands related to sounds and text-to-speech conversion. The biggest challenge during development was dealing with file paths. Honestly… who decided it had to work that way? 😭 I spent a long time trying to figure out why the files weren’t being found before I managed to organize everything correctly.", "repo": "https://github.com/Hallow303/MySlackBot", "demo": "https://hackclub.enterprise.slack.com/archives/C0BJ6DKPT36"}]...

It displays information about the user you choose. Since the arguments of slash commands in Slack aren’t very organized (in the sense of having defined types), I had to work around the problem. In Discord, for example, you can define an argument as user_mention , so Discord itself understands that it’s a user. In Slack, it doesn’t work that way. You can’t even pass a mention as an argument to the command, lol. So the solution I found was to create a modal. When you use the command, a window opens with all the users in the workspace, and you can search by name or choose one from the list. After sending, the bot generates an image with some user information and sends the result to you. (Some text is still in Portuguese because I haven’t translated everything into English yet. ;-;)"}, {"post_id": 38937, "ts": "2026-08-01T15:28:57Z", "hours": 1.1856, "text": "DevLog #8 I decided to continue developing the bot, so here’s what I’ve done since the last update: 1. Code organization I improved the project’s organization by separating command groups into different files. Now, each file has a specific responsibility: animals → animal-related commands, such as /koi-duck , /koi-cat , /koi-dog , and others. space → space-related commands, such as /koi-apod . I plan to add more commands in this category later. utility → general commands, such as /koi-say and /koi-tts . This has made the code much easier to maintain and allows for easier addition of new features. 2. Loading system for responses One thing that really bothered me was when a command took a while to respond. On Discord, when a bot is processing something, a “Bot is thinking…” message appears while it works. I couldn’t find an exact equivalent on Slack, so I decided to create my own system. Now, some commands send a loading message first—for example: 🦆 Looking for a duck… Once the command finishes, that message is updated with the final response. This makes for a much better experience; before, it used to look like the bot had stopped working lol. 3. Direct messages with the bot I finally managed to enable DMs for the bot! Now you can chat directly with Koizinho in private. It can already respond to simple messages, for example: User: Hi! Koizinho: Hello! I still want to improve this part. Maybe I’ll add some form of AI or a smarter conversation system in the future."}, {"post_id": 28574, "ts": "2026-07-14T22:13:38Z", "hours": 0.2719, "text": "DevLog #7 The bot is finally online! 🚀 I deployed it to Hack Club Nest, so now it runs 24/7."}, {"post_id": 27993, "ts": "2026-07-13T23:19:54Z", "hours": 0.6744, "text": "DevLog #6 Okay… I finally finished the project’s README! 🎉 I think it turned out pretty cool; it’s not super professional yet, but I think it does a good job of showing what the bot can do. DevLog #1 For this fresh start, I’ve added two commands: /koi-ping — a command that makes the bot reply with “🏓 Pong!”. /koi-apod — fetches NASA’s Astronomy Picture of the Day (APOD) and sends the image along with its description. Well… I think that’s it for this devlog.
DevLog #2 Today I added 4 new commands to the bot. To be honest, it wasn’t very difficult. It was basically copying the code from the first command, changing the API, and adapting it to the particularities of each one. (Seriously… who decided that each API would return the data in a different way? 😭 I just wanted to grab a humble image.) The new commands are: 🦆 /koi-duck — shows a picture of a random duck. 🐱 /koi-cat — shows a picture of a random cat. 🐶 /koi-dog — shows a picture of a random dog. 🦊 /koi-fox — shows a picture of a random fox. It was a short devlog, but at least now the bot is becoming more fun.
DevLog #3 So… continuing the animal saga, I present to you: /koi-sound . 🐾 This command makes the bot send a humble animal selection menu. Then, you just pick one (there are still only a few, hahaha), and the bot replies with an .mp3 file containing the chosen animal’s sound. The list of animals is still small, but I plan to add many more in future devlogs. And a quick rant: I hate path . 😭 Who decided that handling file paths had to be done this way?
DevLog #4 Today I added a very simple command: /koi-say . It does exactly what the name suggests: the bot repeats the message you type. Nothing spectacular, but it’s a classic, useful command for testing interactions. If you don’t type anything, the bot replies by letting you know that text is required. The message might seem a bit blunt… but remember: it’s just a koizinho . 😭 By the way, I was thinking about how to explain the bot’s name in English. I think the closest equivalent would be something like “little koi” . In Portuguese, we use the suffix -zinho to form a diminutive that often conveys affection or cuteness. So, koizinho would be something like a “little koi” or an affectionate way to refer to the bot.
DevLog #5 New command, wow!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉 Person: “Wait… isn’t that just /koi-say ?” Well… sort of. It’s basically an improved /koi-say . Meet the new command: /koi-tts . As the name suggests, TTS stands for Text to Speech . The bot takes the text you send, uses Microsoft Edge’s TTS voices to turn it into an MP3, and then sends the audio back to you. Pretty cool. =) (I hate path 😭)
DevLog #6 Okay… I finally finished the project’s README! 🎉 I think it turned out pretty cool; it’s not super professional yet, but I think it does a good job of showing what the bot can do. I might improve it in the future whenever I can shake off the laziness, haha. I also realized I used Axios quite a bit in this project. Most of the new commands rely on external APIs. DevLog #7 The bot is finally online! 🚀 I deployed it to Hack Club Nest, so now it runs 24/7.
DevLog #8 I decided to continue developing the bot, so here’s what I’ve done since the last update: 1. Maybe I’ll add some form of AI or a smarter conversation system in the future.
DevLog #9 I’m developing a new command called /koi-user . (Some text is still in Portuguese because I haven’t translated everything into English yet. ;-;)
DevLog #10 I’m changing the user info card. I’m now using Python to generate the images. Honestly, using the JS Canvas is a real pain, and Python’s Easy-PIL turns out to be much easier. Now, the tricky part will be handling the communication between the .js and .py files.
DevLog #11 Well, I finally finished the Easy-PIL part in Python! The card is ready now. I also set up the system so that data is automatically populated based on a JSON file. When someone uses the /koi-user command, it generates a JSON file with the selected user’s information, and then the Python script uses that data to create the card. I designed the card myself in Canva. I spent way too much time on something so simple XD, but I really liked the result!
DevLog #12 I discovered that it’s possible to make .py and .js interact with each other. Now I’m learning how this communication works and trying not to explode in the process. XD
DevLogs #13 I didn’t implement any new features today; I just fixed some bugs that were cropping up in Koizinho’s commands.
DevLog #14 Today I added two more simple commands /koi-rps and /koi-calc . /koi-calc actually already existed, but I had ended up deleting it. /koi-rps is a small Rock, Paper, Scissors game. The user chooses rock, paper, or scissors, and Koizinho makes a random choice. Then, the bot compares the two choices and announces whether the player won, lost, or tied.
DevLog #15 I’m reviewing some commands I’ve already implemented and fixing a few issues. Strangely, the bot is taking a while to respond; it keeps displaying the message /koi-calc failed because the app did not respond... repeatedly, yet a few seconds later, the bot actually executes the command which is really odd.
DevLog #16 Fixing bugs again. I gave up on using Python + JavaScript; honestly, it was getting too difficult. Now I need to sort out the positioning, because when I was porting the code from Python to JS, the elements ended up out of place. I’m not sure if Python and JS handle image pixels differently.
DevLog #17 Still struggling with this command ( /koi-user ), it was supposed to be ‘easy,’ but I just ended up complicating the code even further. Well, I’m still trying to organize the elements in the image and fix an error that prevents the bot from sending the card to the user, it’s getting really annoying (why does JS have to be like this?). I hope to finish this command soon; maybe DevLog 18 will be about that, but for now, I’ll keep working on it 🥀🙏
DevLog #18 So… this command is really frustrating me; every time I fix something, another error pops up, and I don’t know what to do. At least most of it is already done. I hope I can sort this out soon.
DevLog #19 I created a command called /koi-help that lists all the bot’s available commands. This will be useful since we already have quite a few commands; I plan to replace that wall of text with a menu where the user can choose a category (general, animals, utilities, games), and the bot will respond with the commands for that category to avoid cluttering the chat.
DevLog #20 I updated the project’s README; it remains quite simple because the bot is also simple, haha. I gave up on the /koi-user command for now, it was giving me too many headaches, so I’ll leave it for later.
DevLog #21 I made some adjustments, I think I’ll rewrite some of the bot’s commands, I fixed some existing errors (and created others =( unfortunately). But I think it’s getting better now.
DevLog #22 I finally got it working. I discovered the error was in how the commands were being loaded, since they were all being loaded from a “commands” folder via index.js , they were taking too long to respond; because of the response time limit, an error kept popping up. I managed to fix it, though, and now it works =) I also fixed some bugs in other commands.
Ships:
I created a Slack bot using JavaScript. 😭 I spent a long time trying to figure out why the files weren’t being found before I managed to organize everything correctly.
I made Koizinho, a Slack bot with several fun and useful commands. /koi-user was especially satisfying because it went from being a huge mess of errors to actually working....

Devlog #0: The start Soooo it seems that there is no good FREE streaming app for IOS/Android (especially IOS) and the ones that so either lack extremely important features or have complicated Setup, So the idea of Libera is to fix all of that and no I am not making big claims out of nothing So the implementation is already decided I am going to use TMDB api for movies/tv shows indexing since they have a free api , Vidking Player for https streaming which convininently integrates with TMDB and I think i am gonna try to find a way to curl a cool website i found with a collection to all tv shows What happened so far I got the Streaming part working fine , the api is nothing more than a customized fancy iframe that you add to websites , I just added a webviewer in the app with the ability to fullscreen , but it seems that there was an issue at first sine sometimes it would just send me to google or give me a Webpage not available , it seems that these where ads mostly which i fixed by adding a check if the website adress changed to something different and blocker the intent:// protocol which seems to only be used for ads These 2 quick fixes resulted in the player working great without ads too :D and now the player works great
Devlog #1: Since I got the proof of concept working now it’s time for a real UI , So i started working on a navbar , the app is gonna be simple with a home screen , search and downloads , I might add settings later if I found a good reason , but for now it’s staying simple :D Next thing the home screen , I found some projects with TMDB integration so I know it’s possible so no need for no proof of concept
Devlog #2: Sooo Home screen front end mostly done, it fetches data from TMDB but i have my own api key inserted i should add a way for users to give their own api keys So all buttons and icons are there just for show and don’t do anything yet The home screen consists of 3 main parts: -The header at the top with logo and 2 buttons -The main Box which have all relevant stuff like tv shows and movies ext -The Lists which are very modular so i can add or change them very easily later on now i have Trending Movies and Tv shows along side most popular movies from each genre The UI might not be the greatest but it works for now at least
Devlog #3: The fact that i can only upload one photo is really bugging me , ik that i am meant to devlog each 30m but tbh most of the time i spend setting up the services and models for the API so the full UI additions will still happen in a single devlog but now there are 3 filler ones of repetitive backed work So added a detailed screen for movies and tv shows and yes i am separating them because they are separated in the code because simple TMDB doesn’t have a unified ID var but the movies have their own set of IDs so do TV shows and these IDs can overlap so to save on headache i just copied the page changed the backend to correspond to tv shows and even added the Seasons var to the text The page when loaded shows the cover art of the movie for a hardcoded 3 second (might be 6 in the code i am lazy to change it back now) and then does a fade in transition for the trailer which is taken from youtube with the youtube explode which allows me to show the vid without any overalys then comes movie title , release year , rating, runtime, and in the right the providers to it , there is an issue where a lot of the time especially is it’s a single or 2 providers it shows duplicates it’s because of the API i can fix it but it’s low priority now then under it shows the genres play add button which are placeholders now a description the cast with photos their real names and roles and finally but it’s not showing a related section that is stolen code from the home screen sidebars with correct api backend next would be probably getting to either search or fixing all the issues at one , once for all so they never bother me again prob gnna go for the search
Devlog #4: It seems that i was able to upload vids after all :D oopppssieee , Anywayssss the main Changes in this devlog where Adding a search screen, Ik it’s UI looks awefull rn i just wanted to check that everything is working rn created a github repo (ik i am a real developer now) The UI of the whole app looks a bit bad , I started looking on the UI of the popular streaming apps and apple tv’s rllyyy looks good but it’s not that different tho soo i might borrow sm ideas from them :) I am leaving the downloads page last thing cuz it’s gonna have it’s own API (it’s not rlly an API but ill explain when i get to it ;) update; Umm it seems that the vid was too large to upload sooo here it is link enjoy this photo from a random folder for now :)
Devlog #5 THE BIG REHALL : this might’ve been the largest update since the beginning of the project, simply put I have done a FULL UI redesign along side completing the streaming functionality along side other cool features , also the project has matured as a real project with commits to github and tests instead of just remembering what i have changed, unfortunately i can’t upload videos directly because of network issues so i have to upload to youtube So the main changes are : A heavily apple tv / apple music inspired design , I took a bunch of ss from my phone and tried to copy them as close as possible Added a watchlist and continue watching with progress parse , so you can get back from where you left off A side note here FOR SOME REASON when i tried to force it to start the video from the saved last time , the player got stuck on that specific timestamp BUT when i removed the code and returned it just to play the video from the start IT SOMEHOW WORKED , the player API FOR SOMEREASON hates when you try to force it to play from a specific time stamp , and have it’s down continue function IDK man :/ Did some Bug fixes that i didn’t notice before , it’s quite hard to find bugs since I am the only play tester and the app is not really complete so I can’t use it for a daily user case yet Performance improvements since I was working before with an android emulator so i thought performance issues were with the emulator but got to try it on bare metal now and THIS APP STILL MANAGES TO FREEZE MY S22 so i can only think what it will do to lesser phones There is just so much added I cannot talk about all of it the video should be more informative To do : The next thing is most def going to be downloads, but i am quite sure it’s the thing that’s going to take the most amount of time cuz I am going to have to somehow curl or fetch them since there is no api or somehow implement torrenting , but that’s going to be my last resort , I already have a good website in mind that acts more like a directory and it have everything in it , exactly like torrenting , but since it’s a WEBSITE , i am gonna have to try find a way to get only the stuff i am going to need I think i am going to work on the UI first Yes ik i am procrastinating but it’s HARD yk :) also here is a dancing lain since i need to upload photos
Devlog #6:The finale this is actually the largest change , it’s been mainly focused on backend, i have not only added full download support but also added full torrenting support with streaming and downlaod capabilities I have also added a settings menu but it’s rlly limited at the time The app is ready to be tested in daily driving so i am shipping it Ngl the last devlog was a week ago i forgot a lot of stuff i did and the github commit history doesn’t help much rlly :) everything should THEORETICALLY work fine there are still a lot of bugs in the app but ngl they are more of an inconvenience than a deal breaker I added limited stremIO support too since i was heavily inspired by that project and wanted to create an app that provides similar performancee without the tedious setup Changelog Fix Windows MSVC coroutine error + web icon tree-shaking crash Fix Windows MSVC coroutine error + web icon tree-shaking crash Fix CI: secrets.dart, AGP9 proguard, libtorrent Windows symlink Release v1 Desktop + web support Added torrenting + offline player Download : WIP NO WAY THIS WORKS (downloading backend + offline player) More Downloading UI + added New players and ability to change between them Downloading UI + learning the Downloading website backend I don’t have to provide a vid this time since you can install and test the app for yourself noww :DDDDD pleeaseeeeee if u doooo find any issues open a github issue telling me about itttt tnxx
Ships:
I made an open source cross-platform tv shows and movies streaming app with torrent capabilities :D You can try it by installing the file for your platform (mind that some platforms may require extra setup)...

Devlogs:
Doing the login system!
I finished the login system and started the main page
Now, I’m making the user interface prettier.
I’m working on the main page, ALMOST FINISHED!
I’M FINALLY DONE! I just need to fix a few bugs and that’s it!
It’s done! (:

What I made is a simple Hospital Management System built in Python using CustomTkinter. It has a login system, a dashboard, and different pages like patients, doctors, appointments, and settings with dark/light mode. The most challenging part was connecting everything together, especially making the login system work with users stored in a text file and managing the different pages in the same window without breaking the layout. I am proud that I was able to create a full working interface with multiple screens and a working navigation system, even though I am still learning Python. To test the project, users should run the program, log in using a username and password from the users.txt file, and then explore the different sections using the sidebar....

I’ve got a command to call an API I found and get a random quote. Nothing huge but it’s cool to see.
Added /tacobot-roll to pick a random number. By default it will be up to 6 but you can change it by typing in a number after the command
I went ahead and changes the API for the quotes because it was giving an HTTPS error.
