The default Chrome new tab is pretty useless if you spend your day reading writeups, checking Shodan, and tracking HackerOne reports, so I made something that actually fits that workflow. It’s a React app with a dark navy, cyan theme (inspired by HackTricks) that replaces your browser’s new tab with: A security writeup feed that pulls from Pentester Land, PortSwigger Research, InfoSec Writeups, and Intigriti Bug Bytes, so you see fresh bug bounty content every time you open a tab A HackerOne report tracker where you can connect your H1 API token. It tracks triage states, severity, bounty earnings, and dupes across programs(so you don’t have to check the website anxiously everytime :) Multi-engine search with Google, DuckDuckGo, Shodan, and GitHub. You can tab-switch between them and get live autocomplete suggestions A bookmarks sidebar (type “bm url” in the search bar to save one instantly) A scratchpad drawer for quick notes, IPs, payloads, auto-saves on every keystroke Network latency ping, clock, and a bunch of keyboard shortcuts to navigate everything without touching the mouse The whole thing is keyboard-driven(press ? to see all shortcuts). Press / to search, N for notes, R to flip between feed and reports, B to bookmark, comma for settings. Everything saves to localStorage. The HackerOne API integration was the biggest headache. Their API doesn’t send CORS headers, so you can’t just fetch from a browser tab. I had to build support for multiple CORS proxy providers (corsproxy.io, cors.sh), custom Cloudflare Worker proxies, and a direct mode for browser extensions with host permissions. Getting all those paths to work reliably with proper error handling and user-friendly setup in settings took a lot of iteration. Mobile responsiveness was also tricky. This is naturally a desktop-first tool (it’s a new tab page), but I wanted it to still be usable on mobile. Added a minimal mobile mode that strips out verbose text and tips, shrinks stat cards, and cleans up the layout so it doesn’t feel cramped on a phone screen. The search bar honestly feels really good to use. Tab to cycle engines, arrow keys for suggestions, bm prefix to instantly bookmark. It flows naturally. And the HackerOne tracker view makes it genuinely useful, not just a static page. Also proud that the whole thing works with zero backend. Everything runs client-side with localStorage persistence. You can deploy it anywhere static files are served. How to test it: Visit the deployed site (link in repo) Try the search bar, press / to focus, type something, use Tab to switch between Google/DuckDuckGo/Shodan/GitHub Press N to open the scratchpad, type some notes Press B to add a bookmark Click the reports tab (or press R) to see the HackerOne tracker, you can import a CSV or log reports manually Press comma to open settings and play with accent colors, toggle features on/off, try the color picker Press ? to see all keyboard shortcuts No login required. The video is an old render of mine , and one of my first animation attempts. I didn’t really want to make a completely new video just for the site, so I reused it and messed with the presentation instead. I chopped it up, added the scanline treatment and made it more chaotic. started schematics I’m thinking of adding a diode in the key matrix layout so that there is no ghosting in the hek-pad. I wont be able to do much because of my exams. I will get back on as soon as the exams are over.
i fixed the matrix. im trying to fix the slider pin value problems. i will start the 3d modleing or coding next.
i fixed up the neo-pixel problem, i miss took the tiny leds for the ws2812b kind, so i fixed that and the project passed the E.R.C.
I did a lot of work, I printed out the schem sheet and matched it with the actual dimensions and all, but the prb is I didn’t realize that the keyboard switches were too far apart… I have to delete all the wiring before shifting the keyboard switches back and then rewiring….. HELP
This is the last of the PCB editor. I ran DRC and it came back without errors and warnings.
I think I’m finally done with the PCB, I know I said it before but the board exceeded the max board size. i had to rearrange it and also added some random silkscreen art. I have a few parts that StarDance does not provide. :-)
I’m creating the 3d print now. I its sooo hard cos my laptop does not have a gpu. :-(
i got a lot of work done today, I’m getting more familiar with fusion 360. I have to fix the angle it slopes at. Its currently too low it will probably get cut off by the slider other ways.
I fixed the slope problem but I think its gonna cause a new problem… the oled may not fit on the elevated plain. The capacitors seem like they wont fit but ill just bend it down sideways.
I fixed the new rectangle for the oled. Its hard cos my pc is gpu-less...

It took a while to figure out how to compile the firmware – not sure what to put as a screenshot so i used the screenshot of the 3D case :DDDD (sorry im new to stardance and the website is really slow on my laptop so im trying to hurry this before it bluescreens ;-;) but it was a great experience!! I really love making hardware ~ … fun fact the first time I routed the PCB i put the usb thing facing inwards… then when I rerouted it i tried my very best to make it neat so i hope the routing looks nice… (see it in the readme.txt) anyway i cant wait to be able to play hi3 with this… maybe ill finally get out of agony II (I always get stuck on either a bleed-favourable or HoV/some other lightning or ice-resistant week and then am demotivated for a few months) but anyway 9.1 is friday so obviously i wont get the hackpad in time for that but idk how fulfillment times are, hopefully i can get it before APHO 3 (I SWEAR ITLL ACTUALLY HAPPEN SOON. everything looks like it’ll be next year or smth ………. i hope it’s more like apho combat/we get some open world [like a seperate open world] since that’s always fun since it’s independent of the main gacha/microtransactions… speedrunning apho2 in like 2 days was so much fun :3) sorry for yap chat"}]...

Project Brief: although not fully decided i’ve been wanting to make somekind of a drone for autonomous scouting in the harsh environment of the poles and usually to do anything you need power so i started with that although i could just slap on a very efficient battery or a solar panel , I wanted to try something else, something more complex drumroll please ENTERRR THE SEEBECK BATTERY! i’ve known about the seebeck principle for a long time i’ve even integrated it in my ion engine but even with that it wasn’t something i could be proud of, so to fix that i am going to make some sort of scanning/scouting drone which utilises the seebeck principle! (also sorry but to write this devlog i had to code something first so to get around that i just ran some python codes from my textbook but worry not i will start after i confirm what i’m actually building!)"}]...
