Devlog #1 Today I optimized the layout of my web site and added the files for future pages. The full commit of today: Optimized header layout, added “made by” link, added hover effects for the nav-bar, created files for the next pages and nearly completed the “AboutMe” page.

I made a website that should represent myself and my work it should show what I can do and what I care for. For me the hardest part was the layout of the index page, it was really difficult to get that right. I’m now really happy with it and that’s the think that matters the most....

I started by researching the project, and found a nice guide online! I read the datasheet for LT3461, which is a step-up dc/dc converter that will convert usb 5v to 30v for the SiPM. For now im following the tutorial and the datasheets, but i will add my touches soon!
i changed approach, and to make my project more unique i decided to make a system of 8 SiPM’s to try and triangulate the direction from which the Muons are coming from, like the KM3NeT-ARCA in Sicily (which i was actually crazy close to a week ago?? like i was in the sea near it), by having the detectors arranged in a cube shape which will let me detect from which direction it came from given which detectors it triggers! i also, with advice from ai, changed the voltage switcher and hence rewired it :P
I copied the SiPM decoupling from the cosmic watch detector since i the SiPM is just 4 pads for electricity, and i wasnt sure how to couple it....

-no longer spams the same note over and over again for a continuous long note -waits for a new frequency (or a silence) before printing a new note -fixed the issue where the recording saves in x2 speed -increased number of note-neighbors considered when the program “votes” on which note is the main one (to cancel out ghost harmonics / vibrato) I noticed that my program works better on piano (since the notes’ frequencies are more consistent), but I’m working on adjusting this to work for other instruments as well (especially those that can vibrato). Devlogs:
Worked on getting the schematic set up. this part isn’t really going to have to much of what could be concidered original sense i am following a wireing diagram from wled to get the connection from the esp32 to the led strip set up correctly.
added a i2s mic for wled reactive audio. i also switched to the eps32-S3 sense the C5 is still in beta or alpha support and was recommended to not use it. i hope that i got the mic wired up correctly sense the example i was baising it off of had diffrent pin names. i also find it kind of fun how every mic that i looked at for this projhect was obsolete so i just need to hope that they dont go out of stock before i order. though there is 9000+ of the mic i’m going with so it shouldn’t really be an issue.
got the parts and foot prints for the board set up. i had spent a bit trying to find what parts i wanted to use. now all i need to do to make it truly my own is add silk screen art.
moved to a mic module instead of trying to figure out how to connect a smd mic. i needed to move around the layout of the board to make it work but it wasn’t to bad. i decided to go with a Adafruit I2S MEMS Microphone Breakout - ICS-43434 and i’m just going with a conn header instead of finding a footprint for it.
switched to using a screw terminal so that way i don’t have to worry about the terminal not being able to handle more current then a conn header or the jst-sm connector. now that i think i have the pcb ready to be made i just need to optomize the bom more if i can....
