This project is kind of a remaster so that everyone can easily set their own mappings easily. History of this project: It was 1st of June this year and my vacations were about to start. So I wanted to buy the Xbox Gamepass Ultimate so I can play on cloud cuz I donāt have a powerful enough device. (I wanted to play Doom 2016, Doom: The Dark Ages and Doom Eternal btw but Doom Eternal got hard to beat on a controller eventually for me). The Website only accepted Controller input for those specific games, I had one controller but it was not getting detected on the website. I tried many other things like custom Xbox drivers for my controller to work on the website but they just didnāt work as intended. So I just decided to make my own program written in C for this purpose. I made it but mappings were engraved into the code and it was hard to test and figure out for other users. Thatās what I am trying to do. I am trying to make something which I required earlier so someone else doesnāt have to struggle again."}]...

biqu/bigtreetech does not have cad models for the extruder, but someone on printables made a very accurate one that iām pulling for measurements. Confirmed it with the drawings that were in the āmanualā for the h2 v2s
did more work on the mount (accidentally forgot to start recording so thereās like an hour of work not listed here) the extruder part is done. thereās still some weirdness in the cad that I should probably clean but iām also really lazy still need to make part for part cooling fans and bltouch timelapse: https://lapse.hackclub.com/timelapse/ZeQnBYR1oswD
got models for bltouch and 5015 fans surprisingly annoying, neither have official models and one model i found online for the bltouch was weird (holes that were supposed to be 18mm were like 17.998mm) and so i immediately gave up and made my own. it looks really bad but it should be usable dimensionally tried a bunch of alternatives for the 5015 fan. tried an alternative manufacturer but it differed too much from the other two community models (which were extremely similar to each other), so i just picked the more popular one. mounted the bltouch. it kinda occludes the hotend fan but there shouuulllldd be enough space to not choke it up too bad, assuming itās not total garbage (doubtful) tried to find a good part cooling fan position too and theyāre all strange looking
did some heat break testing. wanted to see if the casing of the hotend would get hot so i wired up the thermistor+heating element onto the board. waited a few minutes with a cheap fan i had pointed at the heat sink and it didnāt seem to get very hot so thatās a win for the future 3d printed mount. also i soldered the header to and wired up the accelerometer
switched out the bltouch mount position for the blower. struggled with making sane supports, still need to fix that
reverted bltouch position. blower on the side looked too dumb so theyāre both going on the front now. Blower mount still needs some refinement but should be basically done, then need ducts
got the bltouch probing after much pain and suffering. needed to make new wires for this, duponts crimped okay but the crimper i borrowed was too wide to crimp the jst-xh properly. did it horribly and it seems sturdyish for now but it is incredibly sketchy and probably a fire hazard (i would be more worried if the bltouch drew more current). the plan was originally to remake the extruder wire, but after this iām probably gonna have to hold off until i can get a proper crimper
made ducting setup and fine tuned fan mounts actual duct geometry still gonna need a lot of work and maybe prototypes though
i think i finally finished the ductsā¦ these were nightmarish to make. onshape conveniently doesnāt have 3d sketches, so I did a horribly janky system involving planes and a routing curve. The path the duct had to take ended up being kinda strange, so the loft would constantly crash out because the profiles turned too sharply. i did eventually get the loft to cooperate, and the duct looks okay? itās still very lumpy, but it should transition relatively smoothly, which is whatās important for airflow. iāve also started printing the parts now. as iām typing this, the main mount is finished and the fan mount is almost done. after that i should theoretically be good to assemble once i print the ducts (this is the video i used for duct design principles: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YijwkQCOBEA )

rhythm game! wanted to try to make a rhythm game, since i like those a lot lol. i followed a guide that got me this working rhythm game with drawn lines through code, but ill probably change that later and customize it more i think its a nice start, but im not sure when ill keep working on this since i wanna work on the webos mission, but i do want to come back sometime!
chart! got a chart going on, with the help of claude helping me make a charting system, where its basically just a function that records my inputs and outputs it into the output so that i can put these timings into my note array. i still need to edit it, but it is a great start! got some note skin on cause the rectangles annoyed me lol. this seems to be going great so far, and its been fun working on this! i also decided to make it 4 lanes instead of 6 because i think a lot more people play 4 key than 6 key, but maybe ill add different modes in the future :)
song selection, new song! made a song selection scene, and (poorly) charted another song! this will be replacing the other song, since this one is copyright FREE! the chart right now its a bit off, but not THAT off as shown in the video, idk why the music is so delayed </3 regardless, i will have to tweak the chart a bit, but im glad that i have a proper menu -> selection -> song format going on!
note mash! gave my rhythm game a title, and added one new song called upbeat rock. i think im almost done with this project, itll be a pretty simple game since idk if i really want to put so much effort into this project, but we will see!
click to start song! so i pushed my code to itch.io, and oh no! the song wasnāt synced up! i didnāt take loading into account, so the song would start delayed but the chart notes would come down before it, caused it to be out of sync. with some searching up, i decided on letting the user click to start whenever they were ready and loaded to play! :)
end screen! made a song end screen, which then brings you back to song selection after a few seconds. i have also changed the background of the song selection, gave the play button a design, and changed up some fonts during the song. im not sure how to feel about the backgrounds, but weāre getting somewhere! :)
song delayed bug fix FOR REAL okay so when i thought i fixed the song delay bug earlier with the click to start feature, it did NOT!! actually fix itā¦ but this time i tested it on itch.io and now it WORKS :D i had to change the song type from mp3 to ogg and change how the notes tracked time. now it works, huzzah!
ship???? i think im ready to ship! the game is functional, and i have changed the bgs (again) of the scenes. end screen is implemented, scoring systemā¦ it might not be the most insane rhythm game ever, but for a first time trying to make a rhythm game, i think its solid!
Ships:
NOTE MASH A simple rhythm game with two songs :) Songs: Water, by kontraa Upbeat Rock, by BombinMusic Keybinds: S D J K it was challenging figuring out how to script the songs and to have it align with the chart and have no timing issues, but iām proud that i got that figured out and working, as well as having this project come together!...
