It generates clear and structured topic summaries and helps students learn by guiding them through questions instead of giving direct answers. I built it especially for dyslexic students because I am dyslexic myself and I wanted a tool that actually works the way my brain does. The most challenging part was integrating Firebase for authentication and making the login work reliably with a free tier database that sometimes takes a moment to respond. Getting the app to automatically detect which AI provider to use just from the API key format was also a fun problem to solve. I am proud that the app supports three different AI providers, Anthropic, OpenAI and Groq, so anyone can use it with whatever key they have. I am also proud that it works in both Italian and English and that it is live online for anyone to try. Since the app never gives direct answers but only guides the student through reasoning, it can be used as a compensatory or dispensatory tool depending on the national regulations, the specific rules of your school, or the student’s IEP (Individualized Education Program), which is the personalized plan given to students with learning disabilities like dyslexia. It helps students work independently without replacing the learning process. To test it in english or italian go to https://student-hel-per.streamlit.app/ and create an account. here’s the foundtains for saving config and chats and stuff. it was going well until i found out that responses from the model arent easily dumpable aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
wrote my own dumbass wrapper for openrouter because for some damn reason openrouter’s doesn’t work on windows
after a bit of polish, its ready for shipping!!!! atleast for linux not sure about windows and mac………….
welp it is ready

get your key here!! the premise of what i’ve done is very simple. make something that makes models on ai.hackclub.com very easy to use. (by that choice it also includes openrouter) i wanted it to be a lightweight terminal application instead of a hefty website with five bajillion frameworks and stupid simple to use: install the python package set your api key select your model start chatting as this is the first ship it is bare bones, hopefully in the future ill make it more tui-ish and add streaming and other nice settings...

i am making an Exam-based Study Schedule Generator
styling lock in
So far, there is three main sections: Home, Schedule, and Focus, with working navigation that allows the user to switch between them. On the Home page, the user enter the name of their exam and select the exam date. They can also add topics they need to cover. These topics are stored in a list and displayed as tags, and the user can remove any topic by clicking the × button. I implemented this using JavaScript arrays and dynamic rendering of HTML elements. I also began working on the schedule generation feature. The idea is that when the user clicks generate schedule, the app calculates how many days are left until the exam, creates a day-by-day plan, distributes the topics across the available study days, and automatically reserves the last one or two days for review and a final practice test. The full schedule should appear on the Schedule page, while the tasks for the current day are shown on the Home page. The Focus section (which will later contain a timed study session with a lock mode) is still empty and not yet functional.
updated the focus section so it provides the time (4options and you choose the time up to the user) also i added the timer so when you choose a time it start counting +if you want to leave the session you started you have to solve the challenge it is just a+b=? if it is solved u can leave the page otherwise there is noway +i updated the js so it just shows the displayed page and hide the others
I added a music option to the focus section since a lot of ppl like listening to music while studying (it is optional). Before a session starts you can paste a Spotify or YouTube link, which opens in a new tab and gets saved for next time, and then you press Start now when you’re ready. The lock screen now shows a random motivational quote while you study. I also added a streak counter that tracks how many days in a row you studied, with milestone messages at 3, 7, 14 and 30 days, and a daily goal bar where you set how many minutes you want to study each day and watch it fill as you go. I fixed some bugs too: the timer now keeps counting correctly when you switch tabs, and sessions shorter than a minute no longer count toward your streak. Finally, I tightened the layout so everything fits on one screen and restyled the Start now button.
I added a history section so you can see past study sessions: which exam, when you studied, and how long. There’s also total time per exam, so progress isn’t just a feeling but reality. The schedule is smarter now It doesn’t fill every single day. It spaces sessions out, respects study days per week, and keeps the last days for review. You can open any saved exam, check tasks, and delete an exam you don’t need anymore. I also fixed a bunch of bugs and cleaned things up: navigation, saving multiple exams, focus sessions linked to the right exam, and small issues so the whole flow feels more stable some unused unstructions …..and i changed the templete i liked the dark bleu better
i added welcome screen
now the user can add a goal grade so he can compare it to his actual score, and since the grading systems are different from country to another you can choose your grading system if you want to check your progress by grades,it calculates the differnce as a percentage of the maximum grade , not just points (difference=goal grade-actual grade. difference percent=(difference/max grade)*100.choose the exam, after comparing ,the app gives you a feedback

i made a study planner exam and revison manegment, topics tracking …. i thinkk the schedule genertion and the timing was kinda challenging but not that much at first i wanted it to start the time naturly after comming back to the page whenever saying yes to music but it didnt work so i just added the really start time button i am proud of the interface i had fine doing it all the dats are saved in the browser’s local storage .how to test it: add 1 or 2 upcoming exams and fill every thing .you can check how it handles day.then run the timer there is music motivation quotes… then check goals and history :if you did the hours you wanted and the streak...

Overall pretty easy but kinda became time consuming because the styling of stuff got annoying like with the apps grid and stuff but it got worked out. All good so far!
Updates have been made! I made it so that localstorage like remembers what theme you chose and is consistent across all the apps, so I created the notes app first to check but it’s not functional and there’s basically nothing on it. This took me way to long and was lowkey really annoying but it’s fine… anyways this is what the notes app looks so far and now I have to like actually make it work which means figuring out localStorage and it’s probably not that bad but I have like 0.5% JS knowledge but oh well I guess it’s a learning oppurtunity. Allons-y!
The notes app is complete! It looks kind of boring now so I may add some more flavour to it but for now it is done (the logic and base). You enter whatever notes you want in the textbox, click enter, and then it is saved to an array in localStorage along with the date. This means even when you close it the notes you wrote will still be there! I haven’t really used this before so it required quite some time and I needed some help from ai as well T-T but this is a good knowledge to have now. Clear notes gets rid of all the notes. Now the next app!
I started the tasks app its basically the same as notes but now I need to implement the logic where if you click on it it’ll disappear it shouldn’t be too hard. I’m debating whether to add like checkboxes which would defintiely look nicer but I am pretty busy with school so we shall see. But the layout for this is done!
the tasks app is finally done! this was SUCH a pain to test there was something with live server about my cache not reloading and then none of the css was loading and I had to do a bunch of like tests to figure out what was wrong and yeah it randomly started working so then I could finally just clear it. It was also a little confusing how to put it in a class and then target specific stuff but its done now!
Added a calculator! I don’t have a lot of JS experience when it comes to logic I have only done it with web dev and stuff so I did this with the help of a geeksforgeeks guide. Overall went pretty smoothly I had to figure out some styling stuff with the grid display but it works pretty well!
Very easy simple stopwatch the idea is that you can use this to time study sessions or what not. Nothing much to this did it really quick. I think this is the final update and with that we have hit 30 hrs on stardance! Yay!
Ships:
I made a studying website using HTML, CSS, and JS. It has multiple apps, functionalities such as a calendar and updating time, and color themes. This helped me learn how to use localStorage and a lot more JS logic that I didn’t know before. There is notes, a calculator, stopwatch, tasks, and links to music and one of my favourite productivity sites. I also added an advice generator I thought was funny and a spotify embedded study playlist. Overall there is everything I would use for productivity in one area. It was difficult to kind of figure out JS logic but I got help with tutorials and more for that....

This is the 7th iteration after doing countless tests on cfd. . My initial goal was 100kph, but I decided to go even bigger after doing cfd testing (that took absolutely ages on my laptop). I designed the wings to be printed in spiral vase mode which was also a pain cuz the slicer just kept putting holes in my wing which is super annoying. There are still some jagged edges on the trailing edge, but I have given up with trying to fix that. The fixed model to hair loss ratio was just not worth it. . The tail was designed to have built in hinges which worked surprisingly well with just PLA. they just need a bit of a wiggle and they worked fine (slightly stiff but still usable). . I printed the whole plane in LW PLA and the wing root plus the tail in normal PLA for a bit more strength, but looking at it; I think the wing root would work just fine in LW PLA and that would save another 10 grams. . The motor I am using right now is not great for the purpose of this aircraft, because it is designed for efficiency, but it is the only one I have lying around right now. I will swap it out with something more suitable for this aircraft in the future when further developing this plane."}]...

I’m using three.js to do this in the browser with JS, but it has a bit of a learning curve so I’m struggling a bit. Rendering a simple cube is fine but getting an STL model I got from printables on the screen took me a lot longer than I anticipated Anyways, the next steps to take will be to get the model rotating and resizing based on the detected head size and orientation. Turns out that MediaPipe gives me the matrixes, and that three.js comes with built-in functions for this (sweet), except this means that I need to merge my two JS scripts into one thingy, which is not a fun process. I started today, but I need some recovery time before I finish After that I’ll probably need to do some work on the models, adding colors and all that. I’m planning to use Blender, but if anyone has any better ideas/suggestions plz do let me know. Also idk if it’s possible to add Hackatime to Blender, so that’s smthn imma have to figure out too… Basically I’m happy with how it’s going, but there’s still a ways to go If you wanna check out the half-baked stuff I’ve got so far, I so far have a head-tracking demo and a Iron Man helmet rendering demo . As always, I’m happy to hear if y’all have any ideas on how I can improve :)"}, {"post_id": 49080, "ts": "2026-08-17T18:09:22Z", "hours": 3.0094, "text": "Devlog I So I’m building suit-up , which is a website that should let you overlay Iron Man onto you. Started this cuz I keep seeing ppl building iron man and spiderman stuff on my insta, and cuz I’m not skilled enough to do that I decided this would be the next best thing. I started with Python, except then realized that building a tool that runs an AI model and renders 3D models in parallel is gonna suck and kill my laptop. After some research I found that I could either do this in the web (as there are libraries that let me do this efficiently), or I could spend hours struggling with C++… the choice was pretty easy honestly Anyways, I’ve now gotten a cameo working with an overlay of the landmarks that are detected by the mediapipe model I’m using. Had to use Gemini to understand the docs for the model as they’re cryptic as heck and incredibly overcomplicated. Next up I’m gonna see how I can render a 3D model, and then imma try to implement that as an overlay. Got a long way to go, but I think it’s gonna be cool Btw, there is actually a cameo but I made it transparent for the screenshot cuz it’s still too early for a face reveal lol You can try my really rough demo here if you’re interested. All feedback is appreciated, but plz keep in mind this is still in early dev stages"}]...
