I created a Brazilian History quiz about the French Revolution. The challenges were that, in general, I always program in C++, but, with some video lessons, asking people some questions, and researching on the internet, I managed to learn more JavaScript and make the project. It is my first project. I am new to Hack Club and this is the first project I am posting. I am very proud to have finally managed to make and post my first project. I hope people look at it and think the design is cool and nice. The part I like the most was the color design, and the programming is, in my opinion, well organized.
It’s a simple history quiz to test your knowledge—but it’s in Portuguese. I hope people understand that it’s in Portuguese; that’s the whole concept of the site....

Honestly, the most challenging part for me was to settle on theme and design of the website, I had so many options but they looked so generic. Then I stumbled upon this comic/graphic kind of visual. But things did not get easier here, even then I had a lot of design choices and I still plan on experimenting with the colors, layout, etc. One thing that I am proud of is that I built this whole thing almost by myself and had a fun time experimenting with html and css. I used AI to get references for the design and to narrow down what I actually want, basically brainstorming and also only around 10% of the code was done by AI which was mostly css. Its a pretty simple website, I don’t think there is something people should know before hand to test it. I am building my personal website. I am going toward a comic styled site. So far I have completed the top half of the site. I do plan on filling the empty space on the sides. I am thinking of adding some comic artworks there that would go well with the site, if not then I would just expand the section I have made.
I have completed building the rest o the site. Now I am just brainstorming as to what I can fill in those empty spaces. It would probably be something related to my interests, I guess. Let’s see where I end up.
So my site was rejected as it looks AI generated, and to be fair I did use AI to get a clear image of how I want to website😭. So, I am building it again with a new idea.
