Hey guys, today I focused on a new project I had in mind: a robotic arm for the mbot2 robot. It’s a project that I found interesting and somewhat out of the ordinary.
Hi everyone! Today I’m sharing the final version of the robot claw. I’ll be 3D printing it soon and will show you how it all turns out tomorrow. Thanks for your unwavering support, friends.
Hi everyone! Today I’m sharing some images of the mBot2’s dual gripper. I’ll be posting images of it in action soon, and I’d love to hear what you think. That’s all for now bye, everyone, and have a great day!
Little improvements
Hi everyone, here are some images I rendered of the mBot2’s double gripper.
Holiwisssss, I’ve finished assembling the double claw. Tomorrow, I’ll show you a bit of how it works, and finally, I’ll make some updates to the GitHub repository to make everything easier. Thanks for waiting.
你好!(HELLOOOO) Today I’m finally showing you how the model looks with the mBot. However, I’m still not entirely convinced by it, so I’m going to make it compatible with more modules to ensure there are virtually no compatibility issues with future robot modules. Stay tuned—you’ll see a new version soon; as usual, I sometimes tend to over-refine my projects.
Holiwiss everyone, sorry for the late update. I’ve significantly improved the robot so I can easily add more modules—including an RGB sensor—and I also made room for an ultrasonic sensor. It’s just a small update, and you’ll be able to see the new 3D model tomorrow.

HOLIWISSS GUYSS, so I spent last night and most of this morning printing some parts—there are still a few left, but you’ll soon see the new 3D-printed version of the claw. I hope you like it; I also fixed some errors from the previous version.

Adjusted framework Adjusted the main Global and Timer scripts to better support more mini games.
New mini game Created a new mini game where the player has to dodge falling obstacles.
Bug fixes Fixed the bug where the in-between minigame timer shows a negative number after it times out.
Mini game 5 Completed mini game 5, which is a timing mini game where the player has to “stop” the pizza slice at the right time
Minigame 6 Added minigame six, where the player has to quickly click space to fill the bar. If the bar is filled by the end of the timer, the radish is successfully pulled out and they succeed the minigame. The animation was a little tricky - I split the radish and claw into two separate animations....

DevLog 1 Im working on a web based drawing app What i have implimented? Infinite canvas The pen pressure works Proper Eraser Stroke width Zoom in and out with percentage Undo and Redo (ctrl + Z and ctrl + shift + Z) Next? Next i will try to add rest of the tools and a menu to change some simple settings and option to change colors, and maybe work n make the UI look better
DevLog 2 okay now i added the rest of the drawing tools, and a hamburger menu for now it ony has three working functions two of them are lwk same, you can download reset Canvas or hit New Canvas nextt ill be working on color selector
Devlog 3 Worked on the color selector and the brush while using lower opacity the brush will be smooth instead of bunch of little dots. And the color selector will generate both darker and lighter shades of the color you select. Added a button to turn off or on the pen pressure
DevLog 4 we hab the minimap working guys the minimap only shows the freehand lines and erased parts it doesnt show the other tools also fixed some bugs
Final devlog I have fixed some bugs and did some adjusting now its ready to ship

I routed my alarm clock components in KiCad which was pretty easy to to do and I fixed up the 3D models that didn’t show up at first in the 3D viewer such as the ESP32 and the keyswitches. I really enjoyed organizing the things because it made me think about how they should all connect and it helped me understand how it’ll work. I spent a lot of time yesterday trying to design the rough draft of my case in Onshape. It was really difficult at first to figure out some of the tools but then I got the hang of it like the sketching corner rectangles and center circles. The dimension tool made it really easy though to make sure things were the right tolerance etc. I think I will take some more time to finish up the design since it still some work. Locked in and finished up the cad in Onshape. First I made sure to fix up the extrudes/sketches since they looked off and intersected with each other which made me think it was not ok so I fixed that up, then I added the holes and some fillets as well as changing the color up. This took me more like 30ish minutes to do as I would repeat something twice before I actually got it to work. I’m really starting to get the hang of sketching something then extruding it to add shapes to my design.
today the only time i had to code was when i got home at around 10 but now I am here and I decided to get on my computer to work on the firmware for my alarm clock. since i don’t have an esp32 yet or the actual display, i decided to go with good ol serial print and use my arduino mega to debug the components i had at hand. i wired a rotary encoder to the arduino mega and had to lookup the pinout for it but it was sort of similar to the one i had in my PCB schematic. it was pretty fun once i uploaded the code because i was able to see the values go crazy in the serial monitor. then i i figured out a basic way to make the current time comparing millis to the last millis and then adding a second and boom we have time which i will use to compare to the alarm time. the position in the rotary encoder will be used to add/subtract when setting alarm/current time. i am very glad i got this out of the way!
after letting my breadboard project sit on my desk for the past week or so i decided to try and finish up the project because all i had to do was finish up the firmware. to write the firmware what i did was figure out how to handle multiple buttons, then with those buttons i used an enum to be able to check or change what the alarm’s state was from set time, set alarm, ringing or normal. something i thought was going to be challenging was handling multiple buttons but it ended up being sort of similar to one button except now it just had an index to check for in the buttonstate and button pin. now for next time i will will need to work on the display code once i actually get my hands on the components since all i had was my 3 pushbuttons, rotary encoder and buzzer to test with my arduino mega. i cannot wait to see how my pcb will look like irl!...
