Devlog #1 I started with Astro but after learning astro for about 1 hour, I realized that it was overkill for what I was trying to do. So instead I swapped to HTML, CSS, and JS (although, I’ll probably try programming it in Astro when I get the html/css/js version to work). I spent around 15 minutes looking for colors, fonts, and a custom cursor icon for the site. I settled with the cute coffee bean icon which you can see in the image! Devlog 1 - Homepage I have a fair bit of experience in making websites so making this was simpler that my other projects. I highly recommend to anyone attempting to make a website to use bootstrap as that making development at lot simpler while getting the look that you want.
Devlog 2 - Projects This page was a little harder to make over the home page as I was struggling to align the cards of the projects in a way that I liked, it lead me to loop around trying different things until I finally got it to look the way I wanted it. I also went back the home page and added an image carousel which also has images of each project that was on the projects page.
Devlog 3 - About me This is the final page that I have made for my website its very simple but its still a nice looking page and overall looks pretty clean in my opinion. i fixed up the neo-pixel problem, i miss took the tiny leds for the ws2812b kind, so i fixed that and the project passed the E.R.C.
I did a lot of work, I printed out the schem sheet and matched it with the actual dimensions and all, but the prb is I didn’t realize that the keyboard switches were too far apart… I have to delete all the wiring before shifting the keyboard switches back and then rewiring….. HELP
This is the last of the PCB editor. I ran DRC and it came back without errors and warnings.
I think I’m finally done with the PCB, I know I said it before but the board exceeded the max board size. i had to rearrange it and also added some random silkscreen art. I have a few parts that StarDance does not provide. :-)
I’m creating the 3d print now. I its sooo hard cos my laptop does not have a gpu. :-(
i got a lot of work done today, I’m getting more familiar with fusion 360. I have to fix the angle it slopes at. Its currently too low it will probably get cut off by the slider other ways.
I fixed the slope problem but I think its gonna cause a new problem… the oled may not fit on the elevated plain. The capacitors seem like they wont fit but ill just bend it down sideways....

Sooooooo its getting extremely hard to find jobs, and its getting me scared because im a senior in high school and I have college coming up faster than I’d like. Me and my friends are worried we wont be able to find the resources we need to help us get through our next phase of life, so I figured I’d build a site where people can find those resources and share some with others! I’ve just made the main page so far, but for the most part this is a project that I really think could help a lot of us who are going into our college years, or starting to live on our own!
