Devlogs:
Devlog 1: I am making a webos named glitch . In this devlog i did basic setup such as background setup , text, and etc
Devlog 2:Added Window , blur, and improved style. Currently it is going slightly outside of viewport ,although i fixed it but it still seems off so i might check it once.
Devlog3: Not much in this devlog just added time and fixed viewport problem .
DEVLOG 4: window is now movable, time had some problem but now it shows accurate timing , css of window was messed up so it took some time to fix also added handle to the window .
Devlog 5 : I added closing and opening of my window .
DEVLOG (I don’t remember no. ;) : In this devlog i added a new app calendar and also made its window draggable , closable and obviously openable. I struggled app opening later i found it was some variable name issue. I used Fullcalendar Javascript library to added dynamic calendar interface, currently its css is bit off but i’ll polish it later.
DEVLOG 7: Fixed several issues with notes window (dragging issue , notes’s div obstructing welcome windows icon, and majorly i couldnt type anything in notes tab) and Improved Calendars style.
Devlog 8: In this devlog i added terminal window , improved style and added a custom cursor.
DEEVLOG 9: The last and the biggest devlog!!!!! in this devlog i added custom drag ,pointer cursor, new terminal commands, new app icons , fullscreen and minimize button ,improved css and few debugging.
DEVLOG 10: First Devlog for web OS 2 . In this log i added fully functional new window/app i.e. Glitch tv which uses I frame to show yt video although currently video aren’t working I tried for while but I will fix it by next devlog .
DEVLOG 11: In this log i added booting animation , ngl it was hard more like lengthy , i earlier implemented animation in projects but this time it was big . Glitch TV is not debugged yet cuz i was bored with adding new window , it was repetitive so i thought lets add something .
DEVLOG 12: In this devlog , I fixed video error actually it wasnt error ig. i searched on youtube and i found out i should use go live extension and it worked . i also added weather and it works for all user!!!! you just have to give it permission , earlier it was only showing my weather but then I surfed on yt for how to make it work for every user and i found . DEVLOG 13 Ig: in this devlog i added search bar. search bar wa easy to put but unfortunatly my header css was so weak no matter what i do it wont align as i wanted but somehow i did it . Coming back to search bar it still needs some fix when i search it doesnt show result instead just stays at google homepage.
DEVLOG 14: The Biggest and the last devlog . i’ll divide this log in 3 parts. 1) Add : i added gallery tab , more videos in glitchtv and next and previous button to control them, few more commands such as contact, weather ,gallery, glitchtv. and added a basic manual in iris window. 2)Style: i improved scrollbar style and added scroll bar to windows that needed it .3) Debug: this is where most time is gone, earlier calendar used to show a junk of grid and to fix it user has to toggle with buttons but in this log i removed that junk or whatever you call that, then i saw that when i type beyond viewport of window in notes my window header disappears so i fixed that , terminal scroll bar was also going beyond the windowheader so i made another div it contain it and conntact command also had to much issue ig becuz of tag atlast i fixed searchbar it was the easy i just added name=“q” in form instead of input tag (there might me more fixes but these were major ones).

I made a Web OS , Challenging part was handling several similar codes like one miss and half of the windows disappears but later i got used to it. I am Actually proud of Whole project , i got to learn alot out of this.
I updated my webos now it has weather, search bar, two new windows one of them having i frame to show case video , new terminal commands and few smaller features and fixes. Most challenging and frustrating part was actually small or big fixes becuz it used to felt boring and repetitive and thanks to me i added animation at starting , so for everytime i have to check whether my fixes worked i had to go through that torturing animation but….. the thing i am proud about is animation itself . Yo! Started working on my own web-based OS themed entirely around Obito Uchiha. Got the base HTML, CSS, and JS boilerplate ready and started messing around with the desktop layout and styling to get that aesthetic right.
Spent today grinding out the actual functionality. Added drag-and-drop windows, a persistent top bar, real-time clock, and some slick app shortcuts. CSS styling took forever to get looking clean, but the Obito vibe is finally coming together.
Done! Finally, I made it. Cleaned up the code, pushed everything over to GitHub, and got it fully deployed live on Vercel. Added the README and double-checked all the links. Super hyped with how this turned out, check out the demo

I sat straight for almost 7 hours today. Spent a good 4 solid hours just fighting with GitHub, fixing deploying failures, repository bot permissions, and 404 errors. WakaTime only counts when you’re typing inside VS Code, but it has no idea how much brain cells I lost reading terminal errors and StackOverflow. Here is how the whole journey went down:The Building Part: First, I set up the Vite project and hooked it up with NASA’s official APOD API using environment variables (VITE_NASA_API_KEY). The local code was working fine, fetching gorgeous space pictures like a charm. The Vite Config Drama: When I pushed my deploy.yml workflow, the build immediately crashed saying config must export or return an object. Had to fix the vite.config.js and set the proper base path so GitHub Pages wouldn’t break the asset links. The 403 Permission Wall: Then came the worst part—GitHub Actions kept throwing a Permission Denied error for the github-actions[bot]. The bot literally didn’t have permission to write to my own repo! I had to dig into GitHub settings, go to Actions -> General, and switch the workflow permissions from read-only to read/write.The 404 Waiting Game: After finally getting that green tick, I opened the live URL and… 404 error. My heart skipped a beat lol. Turns out GitHub Pages just takes a minute or two to wake up and serve the files. After a quick refresh, boom—the NASA space picture loaded successfully!Total time actually spent: ~7 hours (even if the tracker says 27 mins because of all the debugging outside the editor).Repo: https://github.com/tharunkumarCYSEC/nasa-apod-pulse Live Site: https://tharunkumarCYSEC.github.io/nasa-apod-pulse/"}]...

what a day man . 😩 I started working on this NASA APOD project thinking it’s going to be a simple quick-finish thing, but man… deployment and GitHub Actions decided to test my entire patience today.Let me be straight here: my time tracker shows only 27 minutes, but that is complete scam. After a quick refresh, boom—the NASA space picture loaded successfully!Total time actually spent: ~7 hours (even if the tracker says 27 mins because of all the debugging outside the editor).Repo: https://github.com/tharunkumarCYSEC/nasa-apod-pulse Live Site: https://tharunkumarCYSEC.github.io/nasa-apod-pulse/

This was my first time making a game so I had no idea how to do so many things :(((( I got stuck A LOTTT especially with the timers, lasers and changing levels. Sometimes I fixed one thing and another thing stopped working. But I kept trying and finally made it work!! I also added a girl and boy characters, a restart button and a winning screen!! I started with a simple idea, but while building it I ended up learning a lot about scenes, scripts, collisions, timers, character selection, level transitions, and fixing bugs. The most difficult part was making everything work together properly, especially the character selection across different levels, the locked/unlocked exits, the timer system, and the second laser level. There were so many small issues that kept coming up, and sometimes fixing one thing created another problem. I’m really proud that I kept working on it and turned the idea into a complete playable game with two levels, different challenges, restart functionality, and a proper ending. Devlogs:
Today I worked on my Godot game. I created and tested different parts of the game, fixed some problems, and learned more about how Godot works. I also improved the gameplay and made progress on the project.
Today I added a timer to my Godot game and made a proper time-up screen. I also added a restart button so the level can start again after losing. I had a few problems with button signals and node names, but I fixed them and now the game is working better.
Today I worked on Room 3 of my Godot game. I added laser hazards, a collectible key, and an exit system. The player now has to avoid the lasers, collect the key, and reach the door to complete the room. I also fixed several script and movement issues while testing the level.
I’m currently working on improving Room 3 of my game, “Out of Sync.” I added moving laser obstacles around the key to make the level more challenging, adjusted the player and collision sizes, and finished the escape flow. I also redesigned the room-complete screen with a neon theme, a glowing Continue button, and sparkle effects that appear when the player hovers over it. The level is starting to feel much more polished and complete now.
Polished the title screen and it took a lot of effort 😭 I changed the main title font, worked on the purple panels, fixed the spacing, and cleaned up the character selection and Start button. I’m really tired now, but the more the game starts looking better, the more I feel like continuing and building the next parts.
Finally got Level 1 into a proper playable state today. Added the 5-key challenge, timer, counter, locked/unlocked exit, and made the transition to the next room automatic once the level is cleared.I also cleaned up the HUD and fixed a bunch of annoying key/pickup issues along the way.It was one of those sessions where one small bug kept turning into another but seeing the full level work from start to finish was worth it. Next up: polishing the next room and making the game more challenging.
Finally finished reworking Level 2! I changed it from being too simple into a more challenging laser room. Now the player has to reach 3 switches placed around the room, avoid the moving lasers, turn them off one by one, and then unlock the exit. Also fixed the character selection so the same character you choose at the start continues into this level too. This part took a lot of testing because the laser collisions, switches, and exit kept breaking in different ways but it finally works properly now.The game is basically complete now, and I’m really happy with how much better Level 2 feels compared to before.
Finally finished the whole game Both levels are now complete and working properly. I also fixed the last few issues with the character selection, exits, and the browser version. I tested the full game from start to finish and everything is working now. This project honestly made me so tired but I learned a lot while building it. Finally finished the updates!!! I uploaded the new version to itch.io and tested the whole game again. Everything is working properly now, and I also changed the screenshots so they match the updated game. I recorded a quick playthrough to show how it looks now :)
I spent some time testing my game and checked that everything was working properly. I reviewed the gameplay, level transitions, and final version to make sure the game was ready and working properly
