Devlogs:
I created the player, the “attacks”, and the overall UI (not really what I would call beautiful but at least that’s something) skeleton joke of the day (just thought it would be funny): why isn’t the skeleton here? Because it is BONE! (gone)
I added the logic that allows the program to generate random attack patterns. I just have to make more attacks and make it so you are able to customize the levels.
I have just finished some attacks like the one in the screenshot as well as the ability to create custom levels by modifying the code. I have calculated the minimum time it takes to die in the game is around 1.5 seconds.
I added the main selling point of the game: the level loader. Now, people will be able to create and share levels for the game.
This is the last devlog before ship. I have fixed a lot of bugs, added the possibility to make custom levels, and even made some levels for you :). All the work is published on github, and I hope you’ll like it! cheers !

I worked on the focus timer quite a bit. It now supports preset session lengths as well as custom durations, and I added proper Start, Pause, Reset and Change Duration controls. The analogue clock also changes with the countdown, and when a session reaches zero it stops automatically and shows a completion message. I also expanded the Study page. Each subject now has separate options for reviewing notes, doing practice questions or starting a focus session. I built the navigation between these different areas and made sure you can move back through the app properly without losing the overall flow. A lot of this session was also visual polishing. I redesigned the subject cards, improved the Today section and navigation bar, and added responsive styling so the layout still works when the browser gets much narrower. There were a few annoying CSS problems along the way, especially getting the timer clock layers and study cards to behave properly, but debugging those was probably where I learned the most. I think Focus is at a good point to leave for now. There are definitely things I could expand later, especially the notes and practice-question sections, but the main study experience is working and I’d rather keep it focused than keep adding random features."}, {"post_id": 76008, "ts": "2026-10-02T00:59:48Z", "hours": 4.2447, "text": "This is my first devlog and somehow it’s already around 4 hours 😭. I set up the main dashboard and navigation, added my subjects, made a Today section, and then started building the Study page. The biggest thing I worked on was the study timer. I got preset options for 25, 45 and 60 minutes working, added a custom duration option, and made the timer switch into the actual study view once a duration is chosen. I also added Start, Pause, Reset and Change Duration controls.I then worked on an analogue clock to sit alongside the timer, including a digital time display and a moving clock hand. Getting everything to actually behave and look right took a fair bit of trial and error, especially since I’m still getting used to React and CSS. There’s still heaps I want to improve, especially the overall design because I want Focus to feel way more polished, but I’m genuinely pretty proud seeing it actually work. A few hours ago most of this stuff was completely new to me, and now I’ve got a real interactive study dashboard running in the browser. Pretty sick start for my first project/devlog :)"}]...

I began this project before creating my stardance account, which is why I have so little time spent on it. In reality i’ve spent months brainstorming and the last 3 weeks working on it. I hope you enjoy! My own Linux distribution Motivations A few months ago, I decided that Arch Linux was too boring, and I decided to move to a new distribution. I ended up on NixOS because the idea of configuring my entire system using an actual configuration file rather than 200 different files sounded really nice. While NixOS was nice, it was also very annoying at times. Since it doesn’t follow the FHS, most standard things don’t work, and it has to have a shit ton of bad hacks to fix them. I also really disliked the Nix language itself, and its lack of good documentation. The thing that pissed me off the most was having to write Nix scripts and using Nix shells just to be able to compile/run my code that has nothing to do with nix. After about a month, I got fed up and switched to Gentoo. Gentoo is the worst Linux distribution ever. It literally drop-kicks orphans in its free time; that’s how bad it is. Jokes aside, of course, Gentoo isn’t the worst distribution ever, but I have a full list of issues that I won’t get into here; let’s just say it pushed me into wanting to make my own distro even more. All of these distributions taught me valuable lessons, and each one has its strong points and weak points that I want to mix and match to create (what is, in my opinion) the perfect Linux distribution. I want to combine the ease of use of Arch with the configuration of Nix (with a better language, of course), and I want to expand on the customizability of Gentoo. Ease of Use The distribution should never inconvenience the user, and should always make sense. I’ve never seen a distribution that didn’t have some stupid quirk that lessened my experience. The closest I’ve come is Void Linux, and Void is likely my top pick of distribution right now, but it fails on the other goals I have for my distribution. Configuration The distribution should manage and configure all system packages. System packages are things needed to boot into a TTY, but past that, every other package is a user package. The distribution configures system packages using Lua configuration files, but user packages are configured using the standard configuration system of the package. Every configuration file, build script, package metadata script, etc etc that the package manager handles will all be in Lua to provide a uniform experience across all aspects of the distribution. Customization Nothing will be chosen for the user, except for the package manager. This means that the init system, the bootloader, the kernel, the libc runtime, etc will all be chosen by the user. This will be done by using Lua interfaces for things like the init system. For instance, instead of a package creating a systemd service, it will create a Lua table that describes what the service file would have described, but in an init-system-agnostic way. This table will then go through a processing step depending on whatever init system the user wants to use. This allows for any init system to work without having to write 100 versions of the same service file for different init systems. What exists now I’ve begun working on the package manager, but it’s still very early in development. I need you If you know C, Lua, general Linux distribution development, or want to learn, I’d love help with this project. You can find some of my contact info on my website if you want to help. We can discuss certain things in more detail there. I’d like to make some sort of community hub for the distribution’s development eventually, once I can get enough public interest. I still don’t even have a name for the distribution yet, but I’m open to suggestions!"}]...

I still don’t even have a name for the distribution yet, but I’m open to suggestions!...

Added the audio jack to connect the two sides and made stl and Gerber Files
Almost built the case now need to add a speaker in the schematic and make hole for it and add screw holes for the top And anyone got any tips for it be more fun to use.
I Added the M3 screws and now need the build the support for my pcb and make the right side of thekeyboard.
Emm took some time but got it now i need to design it and added tabs so it can fit together well.and made the left side of the keyboard

Devlogs:
ISS robot CAD and computer science pre build, I recycled some old code, and modified it for the project I NEED TO START ADDING IN MORE ELEMENTS INTO THE HARDWARE IN REAL LIFE.
Fixing a 3D printer, and hardware work, I am a little sick, so I apologize for the little time spect, i spent two hours fixing my 3d printer, pushing code, and calibrating a force sensor and joy stick, so that the internal hardware is ready when I can print the chassis :).
Today I added CAD for the tentacles to be printed, built ouyt of a ionogel in and then run a line through in order to control I am really excited to start building it. I want to 3D print the body, so I have toi wait for that, but I want to make ionogels and attempt to hape them into the tentacles so I can do those emmidiatly
Today I rigged the tentacle in Blender, then added physics to watch interactions with a cube. I used a Codex GPT solution to help with the physics, since I can’t run RoboOptics software on my laptop and need an AI agent to simulate physics at a higher level than I could account for. I am quite happy with the tentacle motion. I would like to rig more and test interaction with more objects. Additionally, if I ever get access to a computer with an RTX GPU, I would like to use Isaac Sim in order to allow the robot to learn online before build
I worked on training and rigging the robot in mujoco cad, and simulator that i had designed to now work with different gravities.
I am working more on the differnet envionrmental testing in my cad software, attempting to simulate a ornithopter, as a basis for movement in the cad
worked on creating a windows release for mujococad, adding springs and tendons for new control mechanisms for robot arm in the cad , imge a ttached is a autodesk picture of a tendon, as I am not with the computer i did the update with and the device I am pushing this devlog on can barely run chrome :)...

Devlogs:
Scaffolded whole project based, backend only, created github repo, going to sort out hosting and check out the guide for the frontend-going to make a canvas OS for artists!
basic frontend is up! worked on it now, ai scaffolded and i went over with what the guide said
Changed the project: ipone OS, in the web! (only screensaver as it is, plis heart 📱👍)
this clock is sick, managed to get hold of the sf pro font, used liquid glass components from liqui glass and some other random repo, image in background is ai generated but is still insane
homescreen/landing page is up-it looks 👌i’ll admit that the background is an ai made JPG file but it looks good for my iPhone in the Web-iWebOS sadly i have spend ages making this (3 hours) and i have no OS and no backend but i’ll get there hopefuly
ok i have finalised the homescreen with some touches, now with 7 rotating backgrounds, now i need to make the os! also the login screen although it doesnt do anything yet, still have to wire it up
ok we have the start of an OS over here still no backend or wiring but the project is looking nice and neat-these tabs are just static and dont do anything, I copied and pasted the logos into the folder, now we have to see about some sort of file explorer next
ok guys the iPhone in the web now has two movable tabs-background chooser and credits (doesn’t do anything, background chooser somehow works) am not fully happy with the design so might spend more time over it, let me see 👍👍
iPhone in the Web, iWebOS update: ok i have cleaned up the folder explorer, notepad (uses md) all apps at the moment are re-using the same components so once i had the file explorer the rest was easy
made it look so much more like an iphone the iphone in the web is looking good although i still need some more bits and pieces to finish with, not so far off!
iPhone in the web i added some fake status (battery and wifi and signal), and the island which i only now noticed iphones 📱have, and the search which i haven’t wired up yet, also brightness slider which uses black overlay to not glitch out the liquid glass
okay guys the iPhone in the web is looking quite sick if i say so my self i have fixed a load of bugs: when i made the iphone animation of tabs springing up if you know what i mean, then also added an animation for the tabs at the bottom, also now the calculator actually works, i have to see now about getting a browser in there let me take a look until next time! #️⃣📱IphoneInTheWeb
ok i think i am going to ship, so this will be a final devlog, but guys if you see any way i can improve, please comment and i will fix! #iPhoneInTheWeb📱📱👍 for all you nerds you want to know what i did for these six hours i made the lock screen unlock normaly, i added three more backgrounds and a button to rotate backgrounds, a clock in the top right corner, the credits panel which is terrible, and in the folder app a new add note button which took donkeys to make, and now the light mode is so much better
Ships:
iPhone in the web-an OS that looks as close to an iPhone as i could get it, keep in mind i don’t have an iPhone...
