I finished the registry for static JSON files three days ago. Yes, this was registered as a project kinda late in development, specifically 3 days late. Anyway, I spent the last 3 days working on the gamestate class for CRUD operations using the SQLite3 library. (Boy, I hate making CRUD operations, but it’s necessary.)
Finished the C in CRUD (Create Read Update Delete). Now I have to finish the RUD now! (╯’□’)╯︵ ┻━┻
Finished the R in my CRUD operations; now I gotta finish the UD before jumping to the next part. That is, implementing core game features.

I really meant that I finished both the Create sections and the Delete sections. But now I have finished the Create operations, the Update operations, and the Delete operations. OH SHOOT I FORGOT I WAS SUPPOSED TO DO DEV LOGS NOOOOOO. uhh, I guess I’ll update you guys now. I went through several iterations for my case. At first, it was very simple, but now it’s a proper box with three layers and a hole for the rotary encoder. I had trouble writing up the schematic so I asked for help in the #hardware channel in the Slack. I also looked up the pin layout for the microcontroller to make sure that the pins I was using were fine.
I finished with the case! I found the 3d models for the parts I was using online and then told KiCaad to use those models, exported the PCB, and imported it into Fusion360 where I spent the next hour making sure everything was aligned and had enough room to fit. I had to redo the hole I made previously for the rotary encoder and make the walls thinner to fit the PCB
I realized that the cutout middle-layer thing wasn’t built right. It was too high to properly fit the key switches so I had to lower it, but then the microcontroller and rotary encoder had no room so I had to make a space for the microcontroller and the rotary encoder. I was also worried that the 3d models I have currently wouldn’t be faithful to the actual physical item so I exported the models from the orpheuspad demo and imported them into my project instead of using the ones I found online....

Solar System Explorer is an interactive educational website I created to help people learn more about our Solar System and where we are in space. The website features an animated Solar System with all eight planets orbiting the Sun, allowing users to click on individual planets to learn more about them. The project is built using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, all written together in a single HTML file. In addition to the animation, I included controls to pause the planets, adjust their orbital speed, and toggle planet labels, as well as a planet index, an interactive quiz, and a Learn More section! Keep in mind this is my first website, and I learned all of this from scratch so it took me a long time… The most challenging part of this project was making sure all the different components worked together while keeping the website organized and easy to use. Creating the orbital animation required positioning the Sun at the center and making each planet move along its own circular path. I also had to make sure that the controls actually affected the animation, that clicking on planets displayed the correct information, and that the quiz and navigation links worked properly. Another challenge was designing the website so that it looked visually appealing without making it too overwhelming, while also ensuring that the layout remained usable on smaller screens. Overall, testing each feature individually and then checking how everything worked together helped me gradually develop the website into a complete project. One thing I am particularly proud of is turning learning into something people can explore interactively. I wanted users to be able to experiment with the animation, explore individual planets at their own pace, and test their knowledge through the quiz. The animation is not intended to represent the planets’ actual sizes, distances, or orbital speeds to scientific scale, but it provides a visual way to understand the basic arrangement of our Solar System. If you want to test the project, simply open the website through its published GitHub Pages link in a browser or click “try project” here. Try clicking on different planets to read their information, using the pause button to stop and resume the animation, changing the speed, and toggling the labels on and off, etc. You can also explore the planet index, complete the quiz, and use the navigation bar to jump between sections of the website. This pretty much sums up Solar System Explorer as a whole! I hope whoever tries it enjoys exploring our Solar System as much as I enjoyed building this project!", "repo": "https://github.com/brlin888-create/SolarSystem", "demo": "https://brlin888-create.github.io/SolarSystem/"}]...

Hi everyone, My project was flagged for using too much AI, so I added new parts to my code such as a mini game and an enlargement feature for planets when clicked on. Hopefully this is enough to ship as I really spent a lot of time on this project and this is my first time doing html (my first website…)!

Added an interactive moving particle effect to the background and integrated a search engine directly into the interface. It brings a whole new level of polish and utility to the dashboard! Check it out live on WebTab
Built new shortcut controls and a live clock widget into the interface. I’ve also deployed the latest build using GitHub Pages, so feel free to test it out live at WebTab
Placed a settings button in the top-right corner (12px offset) that toggles between 3 different background images on click. I also added the live site link to the README so anyone can check out the update.
Added dynamic background images using the Unsplash API in JavaScript to give the UI a fresh look. The background now updates automatically on every page reload, or manually whenever you click the settings icon. It’s a small touch that makes the app feel much more alive!
Refactored the project structure by moving CSS and JS out of the HTML file, and included a polite voter notification asking users to support me as a beginner developer.
Ships:
WebTab is a self-contained browser start page that combines a dark glassmorphism aesthetic with practical daily navigation. Structurally, the HTML separates the display into a fixed background layer holding the wallpaper and an overlay canvas, along with a vertically centered container housing a digital clock, a direct Google search form, and a row of quick-access shortcut buttons. Visually, the CSS color system builds depth by layering translucent white surfaces with varying opacities and backdrop blurs over a deep black canvas, accented by soft border highlights and responsive hover transitions. Under the hood, plain JavaScript powers the experience without external dependencies: it updates the digital clock and localized date every second, parses bookmark domain names to dynamically fetch crisp icons from Google’s favicon service, and drives a lightweight canvas animation loop that renders and continuously cycles drifting star particles across the screen. Also added notes.

It also has a settings button, if i click on settings, the background images switch. It has Moon and galaxy based background images. The button uses, css and js to switch the images smoothly.
