So, I just finished my linktree-esque page! I think it looks pretty nice and resembles what the linktree app should do. I plan to add a box around everything so that the text doesn’t conflict with the background, but it’s good for now yippeee.
I just finished my faq section for the “about me” page. It covers what I do and how I send clients my work!
Here’s a photo of the complete about me page. I used CSS flexbox to make everything look nice and cohesive. I’m really proud of how it turned out and I hope you guys check it out at: https://yaramations.github.io/aboutme.html .
I made a portfolio page that showcases some of my art! I also added a little blurb on the home page, but I don’t know what else to put there so I’m gonna consider it done for now. Obviously, I plan to fix it and update it throughout my career, but I think it’s a great start so far!

🎨my default bkg image for my web os is finished :D this took me 4hours already. whats next for me: -add a web browser -add animations -add a config to it -possibly add a store and a code editor
✨Basic Landing page. needs more work but works. together in the same page there is the 🎨 ui editor you will be able to use it in the future to publish apps into a store or at least i hope to
made the main page have more color and finished the bar of apps to make them have a more me style to them also in the code i added support for buttons inside the processes what’s next? add a store (its gonna be easier than before thanks that i added a better processes managing) add a browser (i got high hopes i can just give you a c++ programm to run the proxy into the web os) what i want to add next? add making your own processes via android studio you should be able to make an app that works both on android an on masaki os IF you make the app a mono dex or you configure the app to generate a .dex specifically to work with masaki os while it still work on android
added transparency to windows and and made a proper app editor -i had to add the same rendering system i use in the general os to the window. whats next? -add another app via an appstore you use via the internet app
multiple app support added nextup is to finish the browser and the file manager i also need to add a terminal and a config so might finish adding the windows of those first also: modified windows so they are blue now, i want to add circled corners instead of the square corners i have now
added a working browser the next step is to add comunication between the browser and the os so you can browse through apps and install them in the os...

The terminal was the most work by far. I had to add command history with the arrow keys, escape user input so nobody breaks it with echo , and set up a command system that’s easy to extend. The custom feature I added is sticky notes. You can make one from the topbar button, the desktop icon, or by typing nota in the terminal. Each note is a draggable window with a text area, and they come in four colors so you can tell them apart. The way it works is each note gets created with document.createElement and then I just pass it to the same dragElement() function everything else uses — nothing had to be rewritten. The biggest thing I learned from this whole jam is how mouse events actually work. Before this I’d never done drag and drop from scratch. The key detail is you have to put mousemove and mouseup on the document , not on the element — otherwise if you move the mouse too fast it slips off and the drag breaks. Starting simple! I started by making my header, it already has my name and an animated hamburger button! In addition, I also imported some fonts from Google Fonts to use later!
I added an About Me section where you can read and learn more about me, literally :) Also, I’m using Neobrutalism in the test site design!
I’ve added a section to show the programming languages I currently know! Now anyone can see what I specialize in. In the future, I want to expand to more languages!
During this time, here’s what I added: A README with gifs and a image Responsive website to work on different screen sizes A dedicated area for my social media
Ships:
This is my personal portfolio! It contains a bit about me, some programming languages I know, and also links to some of my social media! I’m happy because I think I managed to make my website in the style I wanted, with thick borders in some places (neobrutulism)....

CAD work - after the first print of the top plate I realized a couple of issues. First, I hadn’t made holes for the stabilizers. Second, and this was just cosmetic, there were partial labels for the diodes from the KiCAD .step export in my top plate, which made the edges of the key holes look messy. I fixed both issues.
I started assembly. I still don’t have enough funds for the PCB (Blueprint please fulfill my order for a grant from the shop 🙏). I inserted all of the switches into the 3D printed top plate , which is a necessary step prior to soldering the switches to the PCB.
I completely built, programmed, and have now taken apart the keyboard. It took me a couple of hours of soldering to get all of the diodes and keys placed. There is a lot of time I spend programming that didn’t get recorded because I thought it would be quick. It was not. DEVLOG #2 so I created the desktop with the first window (no funcions yet) and a functional clock. Not the best picture, but I took it myself and found it in my explorer. Time to make this an actual OS with dragable windows.
DEVLOG #3 the desktop now has all the most impotant features and 2 working apps. Windows are now dragable, moveable, open- and closeable and functional! The METAR fetcher pulls the live METAR for any ICAO from the Vatsim API, while Simradar21 is an alternative map to Vatsim Radar (because I couldn’t embed Vatsim Radar).
DEVLOG #4 I added some more apps, like the SimBrief OFP that pulls live data from SimBrief, a Crosswind and Tailwind Calculator and a Scratchpad with some presets to write down stuff

Added a JSON config system that loads and saves rules persistently between sessions. Each rule stores a name, file type, and destination folder. Integrated watchdog to watch a folder in real time. When a new file appears, the rules engine checks its extension, finds a matching rule, creates the destination folder if needed, and moves the file automatically. Finally built an undo system. Every automated move gets logged to config.json with the source and destination. Calling undo_last() reverses the most recent move and removes it from history. Phase 2 starts now, replacing the terminal output with a PyQt6 desktop GUI and adding more rules to sort more types of files."}, {"post_id": 6001, "ts": "2026-06-10T02:00:25Z", "hours": 1.9436, "text": "I had a bug for the past few days that did not let me log hours. Uses an Observer to watch the Downloads folder in the background. Part 2 - Takes a hardcoded source file and destination folder, creates the destination if it doesn’t exist using .mkdir(parents = True, exist_ok = True), and moves the file using shutil.move() Part 3 - Loads rules from config.json using json.load() prints them and has an add_rule() function that function that appends a new rule dict and saves the updated list back using json.dump() Part 4 - A live file watcher using watchdog. Creates a Sentinel Handler class that inherits from FileSystemEventHandler and overrides on_created to print the path of any new file. Uses an Observer to watch the Downloads folder in the background. Keeps the program alive using an while True loop and stops the program using KeyboardInterrupt Part 5 - Extends Part 4 with a rules engine. When a file is created on_created loads rules from config.json, checks if file’s extensions matches any rules file_type, creates the destination folder if needed and moves the file automatically using shutil.move() Part 6 - Still in progress. Extends Part 5 with an undo history.
Phase 1 of Sentinel is done. The entire backend logic is built and working. (Right Now it only sorts .pdf, sorting other types of files is part of phase 2) Built a file scanner using pathlib. Path that reads a folder and prints each file’s name, extension, and size. Then extended it to move files based on their extension using shutil.move() . Phase 2 starts now, replacing the terminal output with a PyQt6 desktop GUI and adding more rules to sort more types of files.
In progress of making the GUI using PyQt6 , Still working on it :)
#Sentinel File Organizer Devlog #4 Today I added more rules(after I realized it only sorts .pdf) , before it was only sorting pdf files before and now it is sorting much more. Now it is sorting: -Documents: .pdf , .docx , .doc , .txt -Images: .png , .jpg , .jpeg , .gif , .tiff , .svg -Archives: .zip , .tar , .gz , .deb , .rar -Videos: .mp4 , .avi , .mov , .wmv , .flv -Audios: .mp3 , .wav , .flac , .aac There was 2 bugs I had today: file_type in the config was a single string so in wouldn’t work properly, and .lower was missing its parentheses so it was never actually being called. I was planing to work on the GUI today but I did not, I will do that tomorrow.
#Sentinel File Organizer Devlog #4 Today I added the basic layout of my GUI: I implemented the main window layout using PyQt6. The interface is now divided into two panels: Left Panel: Activity Feed label Activity Feed list widget Displays files detected by the watcher in real time Right Panel Status label Status list widget Undo button (Currently Does Not Work, Still did not Wire everything) I used QVBoxLayout , QLabel , QPushButton , Q Widget and QListWidget
Sentinel File Organizer Devlog #5 Spent way too long on indentation bugs today. The with open nesting issue in add_to_feed and undo_last killed most of the session. I kept mixing up read and write blocks kept and they kept ending up inside each other. Eventually got there. Rules engine is wired into the GUI, undo button works, dotfile filtering is in. I downloaded a random worksheet to test out my undo function and it did not work. One bug left: undo moves the file back to Downloads, then the watcher immediately re-detects it and sorts it again. Fix next session. After that Im going to make the GUI Japanese theme....
