Devlogs:
I have been unable to post devlogs because my Hackatime was NOT linking for days so I will just be posting what I did over the past couple of days lol; first thing first I followed the guide to create my homepage(picture above) and it was very plain at first just a pink background and a title text no top bar though and I wasn’t able to include any pictures at first(I didn’t take any pictures unfortunately so I will just post the same pic for all three 😭)
After I made my homescreen, I created my topbar and brainstormed what pages I’ll add later on. So far none of them lead anywhere except about, but it leads to an empty page for now, nothing on it. I also changed the font for the subheading and managed to add a picture(from previous days progress not logged) for aesthetic. Right now, I’m planning on adding the time and making draggable windows for the homescreen, not sure what to make for them though. If you have ideas, please share!!
I added the time into a window and made a separate window to include the link of the information I plan to use for symptoms to “diagnose” I also made them cute because if it’s not obvious I like pink haha :) I also made it so they are able to be opened and closed with those two little buttons under my main text. Im thinking of adding one more window, but I’m not sure what. I’m also just posting this so I can also access the second mission lol so I can add my three new pages and start working on the actual diagnosis part!...

I added a random generator that spawns in the 1,500 particles and also randomly places a couple of attractors and repulsors. I added a realistic gravity affect to the attractor nodes by making the force vector applied to the velocity of a particle inversely proportional to the square of the distance. f = (strength · 50) / d² Its deployed with vercel so you can check it out if you’d like: https://aether-gilt-kappa.vercel.app/ I’ll be adding loads more features soon - and making it way way way better this is just the base :)⚛️"}]...

AETHER: devlog #2 since the initial release of aether ( https://aether-gilt-kappa.vercel.app/ ) I’ve improved loads of things including refining the entire user experience and making it something that’s truly fun to use! I changed the way the orbital mechanics worked changing the accretion disk method from before to now having a regular orbit as its more intuitive for the user. I fixed particles simply being launched by attractor nodes since before as they accelerate and approach the attractor they didn’t slow down and simply passed straight through being essentially slingshotted out I reduced the power of the repulsors from 1.2 down to 0.4 Decreased the attraction radius from 500px to 300px added a screen wrap so particles bounce back at the edges of the user’s screen rather than appearing on the opposite end of the screen - I’m thinking of making this a toggleable feature? added a collapsible sidebar added a feature to hide all nodes so you can see particles by themselves fixed having to refresh the screen every time you want to change themes - which you can now do live in any session!...

The idea came from a simple question: How do coaches remember everything they notice during a game? During every volleyball rally, there are dozens of tiny observations (ie blocking timing, serve receive, positioning, communication) but once the match ends, many of those details disappear. We wondered if there was a faster way than clipboards or typing notes. So we built Sideline. During a match, coaches can quickly record voice observations. After the game, those recordings are automatically transcribed (using Whisper) and organized into summaries (using Groq) they can review or share with their team. The coolest part is that we’ve already had our school’s volleyball coaching staff test it during real playoff matches. One surprising thing we learned is that they used it less for player feedback and more for tracking opponent weaknesses, which we didn’t expect. We’re joining Hack Club Stardance to keep improving the app and continue learning modern web development. Looking forward to sharing our progress over the next few weeks. Note: we just made our landing page! Find it at: https://sideline-ai.pages.dev/ ."}]...
