I worked on the project architecture, ui for all the pages and networking between them.
I worked on adding a mascot to the app, just like Duo in Duolingo; or Koi in Brilliant. So im between adding a gargoyle or a padlock. The paddlock is mostly finished (but im not convinced since its really boring), and the gargoyle is still in the process of learning the anatomy of one and how it looks better (but its looking better for a mascot than the padlock) but i still need to chose between them to be the mascot. Or use them both, like good cop, bad cop: padlock (good cop), and gargoyle (bad cop). So if anyone can help me choosing it would be amazing. I will keep working on them and then i will show the progress made.
I worked on getting the Mascot for the app and decided for the good cop, bad cop and i also worked on a UI more similar to Duolingo’s and Brilliant’s and i change the palette for the app so its easier to change and more equal all around the app
I worked on finishing the Gargoyle (bad cop) and its now looking pretty good, and i had to redo all of the body because it looked like it was drawn by a 3 year old. But now its looking amazing for being my first project on Adobe Illustrator.
did lots of work in this 5 hours, i just dont remember what exacly i did.
I made the scenario models, data (over 30k emails can be generated), grading algorythm, and scenario UI. And the project is due on 3 weeks and i have so much stuff to doooooooo.
I finished the grading engine (it had a critical bug), made a course engine and got some friends to make courses, and i made some sick animations in the thing (video below) and it looks good but i also did something with vs code and now it the run button doesnt work and now i have to run it from the terminal
I finished the course engine, xp systems and everythign tah needed finishing with the exception of minigames. But i had like 4 hours that didnt go through because my school laptop broke and then they gave me an loan, so i needed to reinstall everything then some days later they gave me my laptop back WIPED so i had to reinstall everything again and i tried redoing the mascot on RIVE but sadly i suck at designing and it took me 4 hours to make a new mascot that didnt work so just bad stuff happening and the app is due in 4 days and i still have so much stuff to do, so yes im gonna pull all nighters for the next 4 days. and i also reached my first 100 hours in hackatime.

Did some extra documentation and its now finished for stardance so im shiping rn hope u guys like it

The popup could run scripts on the active tab, and the alert showed up correctly. The problem When I tested it on MDN, it didn’t copy the code examples. Instead, it copied random labels like: Code for condition continue break At first I thought the selector was wrong, but the real issue was that MDN doesn’t use normal or tags for its examples. Some code is inside custom containers, some inside shadow DOM, and some duplicated in the sidebar. The fix I rewrote the feature to: scan normal and blocks scan MDN‑specific classes like .notranslate and .language-js scan inside shadow DOM elements return all code blocks as one combined string Once I injected the script properly using chrome.scripting.executeScript with a separate file, everything worked. The extension now successfully copies all code examples from the MDN Loops & Iteration page. o( ̄ ▽ ̄)ブ pluh…"}]...

The goal was simple — click a button in the extension popup and instantly grab every code example from any webpage. ( ̄y▽ ̄)╭ Ohohoho….. What I built I wired up the popup UI and wrote the first version of the script that searches the page for and elements. The extension now successfully copies all code examples from the MDN Loops & Iteration page. o( ̄ ▽ ̄)ブ pluh…
H1 Fixed downdload all images so it actually downloads all images on the page. May add download all videos but thats gonna take a hot minute i guess. im gonna work on that. Also might add a iframe browser or scramjet browser if possible!

Collisions Hopefully, this is the last collision issue. If the ball hit the top/bottom of a paddle while the paddle had the same v_y direction as the ball, the ball would still swap v_y direction and go DOWN/UP, so this is hopefully taken care of. It doesn’t matter how fast the ball goes because if it hits the top/bottom of a paddle, the point is already lost. The next devlog will probably be with all the build files and such.
#Finished Web Demo for Pong I had to do a lot of workflow debugging for this.
Finally got a working desktop release!!! The project is finally done! There were so many issues with this as I had no experience with Github actions or making executables with Rust!
Ships:
I built a version of Pong using the Rust game engine Bevy! Bevy is a modular game engine that uses the ECS (Entity, Component, System) paradigm to run games. I followed the TaintedCoders pong tutorial ( https://taintedcoders.com/bevy/tutorials/pong-tutorial ) which let me create a basic pong game with no UI, end, or varied physics. I added randomised collision angles, changed how the AI moved so that it wasn’t perfect at the game, added start and end screens with randomised end messages, and more. There are versions for Apple Silicon Macs, Windows, Linux, and a web playable version....

A cool feature is the scroll zoom for images, although there’s more to come since I want WinkOS to be some sort of “archive” or promotional virtual OS for my music, the media I make and more things that will be coming soon… :) So here it is!
